The following summary tables and overview of events survey hostile Israeli activities during the period 01 September 2022 to 30 September 2022. The report includes a summary table of events, classified by type, throughout the West Bank and Gaza Strip, in addition to a comparative table surveying events over the past three months. The survey is compiled from the Daily Situation Reports of the Palestinian Monitoring Group (PMG) of the Negotiations Affairs Department (NAD) of the Palestine Liberation Organization (PLO). The PMG monitors ground conditions in the West Bank and Gaza Strip, including Israeli and Palestinian violations.. The information reported through the PMG process represents data available at the time of distribution only.

Analysis of Events
Killings
A total of 18 residents were killed by Israeli forces during the month of September 2022 {18 in the West Bank and 0 in Gaza}:
- 9/2/2022: The Israeli occupation forces positioned at the junction of Beit Ainun village, opened fire towards a citizen, for allegedly trying to stab a soldier, and as a result killed Fadi Muhammad Fayez Ghattas, 19 years old - a resident of Al-Duheisheh refugee camp in Bethlehem.
- 9/3/2022: the detainee: Musa Haroun Abu Mahamid, 40 years old - a resident of Beit Tamar village, died as a result of the deterioration of his health condition as a result of Israeli medical negligence.
- 9/5/2022: the Israeli occupation forces fired live ammunition, rubber-coated metal bullets, stun and tear gas canisters towards citizens for alleged stoning as they stormed a number of houses and as a result killed a citizen: Taher Muhammad Taher Zakarneh, 19 years old and injured another civilian and detained 3 others during their raid into Qabatiya town.
- 9/5/2022: the Israeli occupation forces fired live ammunition, rubber-coated metal bullets, stun grenades and tear gas at the citizens, under the pretext that they had been subjected to gunfire and stones, while they surrounded and raided an apartment and blew it up, during their raid into the city of Jenin which led to the death of a citizen: Muhammad Musa Muhammad Sabaaneh, 29 years old - a resident of Jenin and the wounding of 22 civilians (Including a child, a girl, a paramedic, and a citizen - seriously injured).
- 9/7/2022: the Israeli occupation forces positioned near the entrance to the village of Beitin located near the "Al-Mahkamah" checkpoint in the north of Al-Bireh opened fire towards and killed a child: Haitham Hani Mubarak, 17 years old - a resident of Abu Falah village, under the pretext that he was approaching the Israeli occupation soldiers on foot.
- 9/11/2022: the citizen: Hamad Mustafa Hassan Abu Jeldah, 24 years old - resident of Jenin camp, died of serious injuries sustained during confrontations with the Israeli occupation forces in Jenin camp (as mentioned in a report on 09/06/ 2022).
- 9/14/2022: The Israeli occupation forces present in the vicinity of Al-Jalama checkpoint opened fire towards and killed 2 civilians: Ahmed Ayman Ibrahim Abed, 23 years old, and Abd al-Rahman Hani Subhi Abed, 22 years old - (both of them are residents of Kafr Dan village), under the pretext that they had opened fire towards the check point.
- 9/15/2022: the Israeli occupation forces fired live ammunition, rubber-coated metal bullets, stun and tear gas canisters towards citizens for alleged stoning, as they stormed and took measurements the homes owned by the families of 2 the martyrs during their raid into Kafr Dan village and as a result killed a child: Uday Trad Hisham Salah 17 years old , and the injured 3 other (including 1 seriously injured): Youssef Abdel Salam Merhi, Hamza Fadi Merhi, and Ahmed Rashad Abu Al Haija (seriously injured)and detained 4 civilians.
- 9/22/2022: the Israeli occupation forces positioned near the Beit Sira checkpoint opened fire towards and killed a civilian: Muhammad Osama Abu Juma'a, 23 years old - a resident of Jerusalem, for allegedly stabbing 3 Israeli settlers.
- 9/24/2022: The Israeli occupation forces positioned in the area of the bypass road near the settlement of "Havat Gilad", opened fire towards and killed a citizen: Muhammad Ali Hassan Awad, 36 years old - a resident of Beit Ijza village in Jerusalem, after his vehicle accidentally collided with an Israeli police vehicle parked next to the road.
- 9/25/2022: the Israeli occupation forces fired at a number of citizens riding a motorcycle and a private vehicle, during their raid into the city of Nablus and as a result killed Saed Adnan Ezzat Al-Koni, 26 years old - a resident of Nablus, and his body was seized, and 3 civilians were injured and taken to the government hospital in Nablus for treatment.
- 9/28/2022: Israeli occupation forces fired two anti-armor shells at the house of the citizen: Fathi Hazem, which set the house on fire. They also fired heavily and rubber-coated metal bullets, stun and tear gas canisters towards citizens for alleged shooting and stoning, during their raid into Jenin refugee camp and as a result killed 4 civilians: Abd al-Rahman Fathi Khazem, 27 years old, resident of Jenin refugee camp, Muhammad Hisham Muhammad Ahmad Abu Naasa, 27 years old, resident of Jenin refugee camp, Muhammad Mahmoud Brahma, 27 years old, resident of Anza village, and Ahmad Nazmi Alawneh, 26 years old, resident of Jenin , and injured 50 civilians (including 8 children, and 10 civilians seriously injured).
- 9/29/2022: the child: Rayan Yasser Ali Suleiman, 7 years old, resident of the town of Tekoa, was killed while the occupation forces chased school students as they were returning to their homes.
Injuries
A total of 200 injuries were reported in the month of September 2022 {200 Palestinians in the West Bank and 0 in the Gaza Strip).
Including 18 children ,1 Special needs patient, 3 journalists and 1 Paramedic.
Arrests
During the month of September 2022, the Israeli military arrested 486 Palestinians {477 in the West Bank and 9 in the Gaza Strip). The majority of arrests took place in the districts 111 Jerusalem,58 Ramallah, 46 Jenin, 6 Tubas, 19 Tulkarm, 12 Qalqilya, 58 Nablus, 7 Salfit, 19 Jericho, 37 Bethlehem, 105 Hebron, 3 North Gaza, and 6 Rafah.

Closure
Especially on Fridays, the Israeli military continues to intensify restrictions at checkpoints located at the entrances of Jerusalem, and to restrict entrance to the Al Aqsa Mosque compound in the old city of Jerusalem, preventing worshippers from accessing the Mosque. At the Qalandiya checkpoint north of Jerusalem, the Israeli military continues to prevent PNA registered civilian vehicles from crossing the checkpoint towards Ar Ram and Qalandiya as well as Dahiyat al Bareed. The checkpoint is overcrowded daily, particularly during rush hours, due to intensified restrictions and search measures applied by Israeli troops. During the month of September 2022, the Israeli military also continued to intensify restrictions at the Tayasir checkpoint and Al Hamra junction checkpoint leading to the Jordan Valley area, only allowing access to civilians whose IDs indicate District of Jericho residence or others holding special access permits. In addition, restrictions were intensified and civilian access was obstructed at the Za’tara junction checkpoint (separating the northern and central West Bank districts) as well as at the As Sawahira ash Sharqiya (the ‘Container’) checkpoint (separating the central and southern West Bank districts).
The Israeli military installed 279 checkpoints in September 2022 (Compared with 268 checkpoints in August 2022 and 207 checkpoints in July 2022 and as a result restricted the free access and movement of residents, merchant supplies and agricultural goods.

The Israeli military set up Flying checkpoints 279 in the month of September 2022 and searched Palestinian civilians and vehicles in and around Palestinian residential areas in the districts of Jerusalem (3); Ramallah (102); Jenin (8); Tulkarem (34), Qalqiliya (27); Nablus (14); Salfit (9); Jericho (61); Bethlehem (11)and Hebron (61).
Raids
The Israeli military carried out a total of 576 raids in Palestinian residential areas during the month of September 2022, including in the West Bank and in the Gaza Strip. The majority of Israeli military raids were reported to have taken place in the districts of Jerusalem (28); Ramallah (87); Jenin (97); Tubas (7), Tulkarem (65); Qalqiliya (17); Nablus (122); Salfit (39); Jericho (8); Bethlehem (47); Hebron (51) ,North Gaza (2) Gaza (1),Central Gaza(3) and Khan Yunis (2).
Attacks
A total of 333 attacks were reported to have taken place during the month of September 2022 (248 in the West Bank and 85 in the Gaza Strip) which included 48 from raids into Palestinian towns, villages and camps, 46 from positions at Military checkpoints, 200 from positions at Military posts and 39 from Naval vessels.

Home Demolition
The Israeli occupation forces demolished 13 homes during September 2022 including:
- 09/02/2022: The Israeli occupation authorities in the Ras al-Amoud neighborhood in Jerusalem forced the family of Hadia, to demolish her 120-square-meter house herself, after notifying her earlier, in order to avoid paying heavy fines in the event of the demolition by the occupation authorities under the pretext of not having a license.
- 09/05/2022: The Israeli occupation forces demolished the walls of an apartment owned by the family of the martyr: Raad Hazem in Jenin.
- 09/08/2022: The Israeli occupation authorities in Silwan neighbourhood in Jerusalem forced the citizen: Issam Sharaf to personally demolish his house, after notifying him earlier, in order to avoid paying heavy fines in the event that the Israeli occupation authorities carried out the demolition, on the pretext of not having a permit.
- 09/11/2022: The Israeli occupation authorities in the Silwan neighbourhood in Jerusalem forced the citizen: Nisreen Abu Tayeh, to demolish her house herself, after notifying her earlier, in order to avoid paying heavy fines in the event that the Israeli occupation authorities carried out the demolition, on the pretext of not having a license.
- 09/19/2022: The Israeli occupation forces demolished 3 houses belonging to citizens: Amin Muhammad Mleihat, Imad Ali Tarif al-Rashaida, and his brother Muhammad, in the Arab al-Rashaida community, near the village of Ain al-Diouk al-Fouqa, on the pretext that the area is a nature reserve and a training area.
- 09/21/2022: The Israeli occupation forces demolished 2 houses in the Ain Samiya area, east of the village of Kafr Malik belonging to the citizens: Hassan Salama Kaabneh and Najah Muhammad Kaabneh.
- 09/22/2022: The Israeli occupation forces demolished a house owned by Ashraf Al-Amour, southeast of Yatta, in Al-Rkeez area, southeast of Yatta.
- 09/25/2022: The Israeli occupation authorities in Wadi Al-Joz neighbourhood in Jerusalem forced the citizen: Farid Jaber to personally demolish his house, after notifying him earlier, in order to avoid paying heavy fines in the event that the Israeli occupation authorities carried out the demolition, on the pretext of not having a permit.
- 09/28/2022: The Israeli occupation forces demolished a 220-square-meter two-storey house, owned by: Ismail Awad Salah, in Artas village under the pretext of not having a license.
- 09/29/2022: The Israeli occupation forces demolished a mobile home owned by: Raafat Ishaq Nasser al-Din, in the Farsh al-Hawa area, northwest of Hebron.

Jerusalem:
- 09/01/2022: The Israeli occupation authorities in the city of Jerusalem carried out excavations in the Yusufiya cemetery located next to Bab Al-Asbat (one of the doors leading to Al-Aqsa Mosque), where the Israeli occupation authorities are trying to establish a garden on part of the cemetery’s land.
- 09/06/2022: The Israeli occupation forces demolished a retaining wall surrounding a plot of land in the Jabal Mukaber neighborhood in Jerusalem owned by the family: Zahaika, under the pretext of not having a license.
- 09/07/2022: The Israeli occupation forces demolished a horse stable owned by: Mahmoud Al-Sheikh - a resident of Shuafat camp, a poultry farm owned by: Najati Dana, the headquarters of Beit Al-Maqdis Club, a repair shop for the vehicle publisher and a car wash, owned by a citizen of a family : Da’na, in the town of Anata.
- 09/09/2022: The Israeli occupation authorities in the village of Al-Isawiya forced the citizen: Abd Adnan Darwish to personally demolish a barracks for raising livestock, after notifying him earlier, in order to avoid paying heavy fines in the event that the occupation authorities carried out the demolition, on the pretext that there was no licensing.
Tulkarem:
- 09/20/2022: The Israeli occupation forces, sealed off two underground water wells intended for drinking, in the village of Al-Ras and Kafr Abush.
Nablus:
- 09/07/ 2022: The Israeli occupation forces caused material damage to a private vehicle owned by: Omar Freihat, when it was hit by a military vehicle during their raid into the town of Al-Yamoun.
- 09/14/ 2022: The Israeli occupation forces demolished two agricultural rooms and uprooted 20 olive trees owned by the citizens: Hilal Rajabeh and Waheeb Abu Eisha.in the Al-Dahhak area, southeast of the village of Rojib.
- 09/21/ 2022: The Israeli occupation forces uprooted 50 olive trees near the entrance to the town of Al-Zawiya while they were razing to build a new water line linking the settlements of "Alkana" and "Berkan Industrial".

Bethlehem:
- 09/06/2022:Tthe occupation forces demolished a sheep farm owned by: Muhammad Abu Amous, and an agricultural room and filled a well for collecting water owned by Baha Abdel Salam Salah in the Shushahla area of Al-Khader town, under the pretext of not having a license.
- 09/28/ 2022: The Israeli occupation forces demolished an agricultural room owned by Basil Al-Lahham, in the village of Artas under the pretext of not having a license.

Jerusalem:
- 09/12/2022: The Israeli occupation forces confiscated a motorcycle from inside the Abu Shalbak gas station during their raid into Al-Ram town.
Ramallah &Al-Bireh:
- 09/10/2022: The Israeli police in Jafna village confiscated a private vehicle owned by: Saleh Hassouna.
Tubas:
- 09/06/ 2022: The Israeli occupation forces confiscated an agricultural tractor in the Ras al-Ahmar area in the northern Jordan Valley, owned by the citizen: Muayyad Fakhri Daraghmeh.
- 09/18/ 2022: The Israeli occupation forces confiscated two agricultural tractors from the citizens, in the Qa'oun Plain area in the northern Jordan Valley, and took them to the settlement of "Mikhola".
- 09/29/2022: The Israeli occupation forces confiscated, in the Al-Ras Al-Ahmar area in the northern Jordan Valley, a bus transporting workers working on agricultural lands in the area, owned by the citizen: Saad Abu Mohsen.
Tulkarem:
- 09/07/2022: The Israeli occupation forces confiscated a concrete mixer owned by Abu Al-Rub Company, while pouring concrete in the house of Amir Al-Sabah, under the pretext of not having a license and being close to the racist separation wall in the town of Qafin.
- 09/20/2022: The Israeli occupation forces during their raid into the villages of Al-Ras and Kafr Abush, as they sealed off two underground water wells designated for drinking, confiscated a truck and a water pump that had been parked near the well on the eastern side of the village of Al-Ras, owned by the citizen: Ibrahim Shreim.
Nablus:
- 09/04/2022: the Israeli occupation forces positioned at Hawara checkpoint confiscated a private vehicle owned by: Yousef Abdel Halim Nasser – a resident of Askar camp in Nablus, during his detention.
- 09/09/2022: The Israeli occupation forces confiscated a private vehicle owned by the two brothers: Abd Muhammad Saeed Abdullah, and his brother Orwa as they detained them during their raid into Jama'in town.
- 09/10/2022: The Israeli occupation forces confiscated a truck owned by Hamouda Hosni Malaitat - residents of Beit Furik town, as he was working to transport farmers' goods from Beit Furik to the Jordan Valley.
- 09/19/2022: The Israeli occupation forces confiscated a private vehicle from the home of the prisoner's family: Muayyad Ghazi during their raid into the town of Jama'in.
- 09/21/2022: the Israeli occupation forces confiscated, a caravan and a health unit in the Khirbet Al-Marajem area of Douma village owned by the citizen: Muhammad Daif Allah Muslim - residents of Telfit village.
Salfit:
- 09/05/2022: The Israeli occupation forces confiscated a caravan owned by: Saleh Ahmed Omar in the Qasoul area near the town of Kafr ad-Dik.
- 09/20/2022: The Israeli occupation forces positioned at Za'tara Junction confiscated a private vehicle owned by: Muhammad Awad Sorour – a resident of Ni'lin town in Ramallah governorate, during his arrest.
- 09/22/2022: The Israeli occupation forces confiscated 4 vehicles and an agricultural tractor located near Haris village owned by citizens.
- 09/23/2022: The Israeli occupation forces confiscated a bulldozer owned by: Abdel Hamid Muhammad Khalil Jadallah, in the village of Rafat under the pretext of working in the classified area (C) under Israeli control.
- 09/26/2022: The Israeli occupation forces confiscated a bulldozer owned by: Fadi Abdel Rahim Salim - residents of Salfit, during their raid into Kafr ad-Dik town while it was working in the classified area (C) under Israeli control.
Bethlehem:
- 09/06/ 2022, the Israeli occupation forces confiscated two caravans, owned by the citizen: Imad Yousef Musa near the Nashash Junction (the southern entrance to the city of Bethlehem.
- 09/20/2022: the Israeli occupation forces confiscated a pair of stone and marble scissors, owned by: Abdel-Tawil during their raid into the industrial zone east of the town of Beit Fajjar, under the pretext that it was located in the classified area (C) under Israeli control.
- 09/21/ 2022, the Israeli occupation forces confiscated a small bulldozer and other construction equipment from inside a construction workshop belonging to the citizen: Ismail Awad Salah during their raid into village of Artas.
Jericho:
- 09/11/2022, the Israeli occupation forces confiscated a concrete pump and two concrete trucks owned by the Al-Awda Concrete Company, while it was working in a house (under construction), in the Sateeh area, west of Jericho under the pretext that it was not licensed and that it was located in the classified area (C) under Israeli control.
Hebron:
- 09/08/2022: The Israeli occupation forces confiscated a private vehicle owned by: Abd al-Rahim Ribhi Abu Shkhaydam as they detained him during their raid into Hebron.
- 09/12/2022: The Israeli occupation forces confiscated two vehicles of citizens during the storming of Yatta town.
- 09/14/2022, the Israeli occupation forces confiscated a tent owned by the citizen: Saleh Awad, in the al-Dirat area, east of Yatta. They also confiscated another tent in the Wadi Jehish area near the village of Susiya.
- 09/30/2022: The Israeli occupation forces confiscated an electric generator and construction equipment, owned by the citizen: Mamdouh Abu Tabikh Daajneh, in the Al-Jawaya area, east of Yatta.
- 09/13/2022, Israeli naval boats confiscated two fishing boats at sea off the shore of Rafah, after they detained 4 fishermen on board.
Settlement Activity:
- 09/06/ 2022: the Israeli occupation authorities in the city of Jerusalem approved a plan to build a new settlement called “Givat Hashaked and the plan includes the construction of 700 housing units, synagogues, a school, and entertainment venues on an area of 38 dunums of Beit Safafa village lands, within the occupied territories in 1967 .
- 09/11/ 2022: Israeli settlers established a new settlement outpost on the lands of Al-Kharji Mountain, southeast of the town of Qusra, and surrounded it with barbed wire, after a while ago it carried out razing works to build roads with the aim of linking it to the “Majdolim” settlement near the entrance to the town.
- 09/11/2022: The settlers of the "Avi Gal" settlement, established east of Yatta town, carried out excavation and bulldozing works in the Umm al-Radf area, with the aim of expanding the settlement.
- 09/17/2022: The Israeli occupation forces positioned in the area of Khirbet Ihmir in the northern Jordan Valley, fenced an area of land, with the aim of seizing it for the benefit of settlement projects.
- 09/18/2022: The Israeli occupation forces positioned in the Abu al-Ghazal area, west of the village of Qusin, built a new road in the confiscated lands, with the aim of including it in the Israeli industrial zone "Bar On" built to the west of the village next to the settlement of "Kedumim".
09/21/2022: The Israeli occupation forces razed to lay a new water line linking the settlements of “Alkana” and “Berkan Industrial", near the entrance to the town of Al-Zawiya which led to the uprooting of 50 olive trees.

Jerusalem:
- 09/02/2022, a group of Israeli settlers in the city of Jerusalem severely beat the citizen: Nidal Al-Natsheh and as a result left him hospitalized with contusions to the head.

Closure of Crossing Points
