The following summary tables and overview of events survey hostile Israeli activities during the period 01 October 2018 to October 31 2018. The report includes a summary table of events, classified by type, throughout the West Bank and Gaza Strip, in addition to a comparative table surveying events over the past three months. The survey is compiled from the Daily Situation Reports of the Palestinian Monitoring Group (PMG) of the Negotiations Affairs Department (NAD) of the Palestine Liberation Organization (PLO). The PMG monitors ground conditions in the West Bank and Gaza Strip, including Israeli and Palestinian violations. The information reported through the PMG process represents data available at the time of distribution only.

Analysis of Events
Killings
A total of 31 residents were killed by Israeli forces during the month of October 2018 {6 in the West Bank and 25 in Gaza}:
- October 2nd 2018: Israeli forces positioned behind the Green line opened fire towards agricultural land in east Al-Maghazi camp and an as a result killed Ibrahim Ahmad Nassar Al-Arqawi {78 years old} while he was farming his land.
- October 3rd 2018: Israeli forces positioned behind the Green Line fired live ammunition, rubber coated steel bullets, stun and tear gas canisters towards several demonstrators near Beit Hanun (Erez) crossing located in North Beit Hanon town during the march of return and as a result killed the child: Ahmad Samir Harb Abu Habil {15 years old}, injured 7 residents and left 17 others suffocated from tear gas inhalation.
- October 5th 2018: Israeli forces positioned behind the Green Line fired live ammunition, rubber coated steel bullets, stun and tear gas canisters towards several demonstrators near east Gaza city during the march of return and as a result killed 2 residents {including a child}: Fares Hafez Abdel Aziz Sersawi {13 years old}{A resident of Gaza City} and Mahmoud Akram Mohammed Abu Samaan {23 years old}{A resident of Nusseirat refugee camp},injured 29 resident {including a paramedic and a journalist} and left 56 others suffocated from tear gas inhalation.
- October 5th 2018: Israeli forces positioned behind the Green Line fired live ammunition, rubber coated steel bullets, stun and tear gas canisters towards several demonstrators in east Khuza'a town located in east Khan Yunis city and as a result killed Mohammad Fathi Hussien Mu'hsin Al-Raqab {18 years old} {A resident of Bani Suhayla town}, injured 32 residents {including a Paramedic -critically injured and a Journalist} and left 64 others suffocated from tear gas inhalation.
- October 12th 2018: a group of Israeli settlers positioned at Za'tara junction military checkpoint stoned a vehicle travelling along the main road and a as result killed Ayisha Mohammad Tallal Al-Rabi {47 years old} {a resident of Bidya town} after the stone fractured her head and broke her vehicles windshield.
- October 12th 2018: Wissam Abdel-Majid Nayef Shaladat {28 years old} {A resident of Sa'ir town in Hebron city} {A Palestinian Detainee} died in Israeli prisons as he was imprisoned since 2015.
- October 12th 2018: Israeli forces positioned behind the Green Line fired live ammunition, rubber coated steel bullets, stun and tear gas canisters towards several demonstrators in east Gaza city during the march of return and as a result killed 2 residents: Affifi Mahmoud Atta Affifi {18 years old}{A resident of Gaza city} and Mohammad Issam Mohammad Abbas {20 years old}{A resident of Al-Shiekh Radwan neighborhood in Gaza city}, injured 35 residents {including a journalist} and left several others suffocated from tear gas inhalation.
- October 12th 2018: Israeli forces positioned behind the Green Line fired live ammunition, rubber coated steel bullets, stun and tear gas canisters towards several demonstrators in east Al-Buriej camp participating in the right of return march and as a result killed 4 residents including a child: Ahmed Ibrahim Abdullah Abu Naim {17 years old}{A resident of Nusseirat camp}, Mohammed Abdulhafeez Yousef Ismail {29 years old}{A resident of Al Bureij camp}, Ahmed Ibrahim Zaki Al-Taweel {27 years old}{A resident of Nusseirat camp}, and Abdullah Barham Suleiman Al-Daghmeh {25 years old} A resident of Abbassan Al-Jadida town in Khan Yunis district}, injured 29 residents and left 10 others suffocated from tear gas inhalation.
- October 15th 2018: Israeli forces positioned near Harris village junction opened fire towards Eliyas Saleh Yassin {22 years old} {a resident of Bidya town} and as a result killed him for allegedly attempting to stab an Israeli settler.
- October 16th 2018: Saddam Al-Abed Mohammad Abu Shalash {27 years old}{A resident of Jabaliya camp} died of died of critical injuries sustained after Israeli forces opened fire towards demonstrators in North West Beit Lahiya town on October 15th 2018.
- October 17th 2018: Israeli Military aircraft's launched missiles towards Palestinian gunmen sites located in Um Insar village located in North Beit Lahiya town and as a result killed Naji Jamal Mohammad Al-Za'anin {25 years old} {a resident of Beit Hanun town} and left 3 others injured {including 2 critically injured}.
- October 22nd 2018: Israeli forces positioned near Al-Ibrahimi mosque compound in the old city of Hebron opened fire towards and killed Mohammad Ma'amer Arif Rifa'i Al-Atrash {42 year old} {for allegedly attempting to stab an Israeli soldier}.
- October 23rd 2018: Israeli forces positioned behind the Green Line fired live ammunition, rubber coated steel bullets, stun and tear gas canisters towards several demonstrators in east Deir Al-Balah city during the march of return and as a result killed Muntasir Mohammad Ismail Al-Baz {17 years old}and injured 6 residents
- October 24th 2018: Israeli forces fired live ammunition, rubber coated steel bullets, stun and tear gas canisters towards several residents for alleged stoning as they stormed and searched several homes during their raid into Tammoun town and as a result killed Mohammad Mahmoud Sa'ed {21 years old}, injured 6 residents and left 5 others suffocated from tear gas inhalation
- October 26th 2018: Israeli forces positioned in Al-Mazra'a Al-Gharbiya village fired rubber coated steel bullets, stun and tear gas canisters towards several residents for alleged stoning and as a result killed Othman Ahmad Ali Al-Daduwat {33 years old}, injured 8 residents and left several others suffocated from tear gas inhalation.
- October 26th 2018: Israeli forces positioned behind the Green Line fired live ammunition, rubber coated steel bullets, stun and tear gas canisters towards several demonstrators in east Jabaliya town during the march of return and as a result killed Mohammad Khalid Mahmoud Abdel-Nabi {27 years old} {A resident of Jabaliya town}, injured 214 residents {including 1 paramedics in North Gaza} and left 83 others suffocated from tear gas inhalation.
- October 26th 2018: Israeli forces positioned behind the Green Line fired live ammunition, rubber coated steel bullets, stun and tear gas canisters towards several demonstrators in east Al-Buriej camp participating in the right of return march and as a result killed Mujahid Ziyad Zaki Aqel {23 years old} injured 214 residents {including 6 paramedics and 4 journalist} and left 83 others suffocated from tear gas inhalation.
- October 26th 2018: Israeli forces positioned behind the Green Line fired live ammunition, rubber coated steel bullets, stun and tear gas canisters towards several demonstrators in east Khan Yunis city participating in the right of return march and as a result killed 3 residents: Nassar Ayad Nassar Abu Taim {19 years old}, {A resident of Khuza'a town}, Ahmad Sa'id Abdul Aziz Abu Libdeh {22 years old}{A resident of Bani Suhaila town} and Ayash Ghassan Ayesh Shaath {22 years old}{A resident of Al-Fakhari town}, injured 214 residents {including a journalist from Khan Yunis city} and left 83 others suffocated from tear gas inhalation.
- October 28th 2018: Yahya Badr Mohammad Al-Al-Hasnat {37 years old}{A resident of Al-Ma'arqat town} died of serious injuries sustained during clashes in east Al-Buriej camp in Central Gaza on October 26th 2018.

Closure
Especially on Fridays, the Israeli military continues to intensify restrictions at checkpoints located at the entrances of Jerusalem, and to restrict entrance to the Al Aqsa Mosque compound in the old city of Jerusalem, preventing worshippers from accessing the Mosque. At the Qalandiya checkpoint north of Jerusalem, the Israeli military continues to prevent PNA registered civilian vehicles from crossing the checkpoint towards Ar Ram and Qalandiya as well as Dahiyat al Bareed. The checkpoint is overcrowded daily, particularly during rush hours, due to intensified restrictions and search measures applied by Israeli troops. During the month of August 2018 the Israeli military also continued to intensify restrictions at the Tayasir checkpoint and Al Hamra junction checkpoint leading to the Jordan Valley area, only allowing access to civilians whose IDs indicate District of Jericho residence or others holding special access permits. In addition, restrictions were intensified and civilian access was obstructed at the Za’tara junction checkpoint (separating the northern and central West Bank districts) as well as at the As Sawahira ash Sharqiya (the ‘Container’) checkpoint (separating the central and southern West Bank districts).
The Israeli military installed 320 flying checkpoints in October 2018 (compared with 322 in September and 281 in August) and as a result restricted the free access and movement of residents, merchant supplies and agricultural goods.

The Israeli military carried out a total of 547 raids in Palestinian residential areas during the month of October 2018, including 539 in the West Bank and 8 in the Gaza Strip. The majority of Israeli military raids were reported to have taken place in the districts of Jerusalem (53); Ramallah (51); Jenin (38); Tubas (8); Tulkarem (106); Qalqiliya (60); Nablus (72); Salfit (21); Jericho (2); Bethlehem (58); Hebron (64), North Gaza (4), Gaza (1), Central Gaza (2) and Rafah (1).

A total of 369 attacks were reported to have taken place during the month of October 2018 (177 in the West Bank and 192 in the Gaza Strip).

- October 17th 2018: Palestinian gunmen launched 2 projectiles towards the Green Line.
- October 24th 2018: Palestinian gunmen launched projectiles towards the Green Line.
- October 27th 2018: Palestinian Gunmen broke the ceasefire agreement by launching 30 projectiles towards the Green Line.
- October 27th 2018: Palestinian Gunmen launched 3 projectiles towards the Green Line.
- October 27th 2018: Palestinian Gunmen launched 5 projectiles towards the Green Line
Attacks on residential areas in West Bank districts
Home Demolition
During the month of October 2018, the Israeli military demolished 15 Palestinian homes and residential tents, which consisted of the following:
- October 8th 2018: Israeli authorities in Beit Hanina town forced Ayman Na'im Kawazba to demolish his 100 m2 home after receiving a military order for the demolition for being built without a license and imposed a hefty financial penalty.
- October 9th 2018: Israeli forces demolished 3 homes owned by Jibril Ahmad Ismail Abu Arram, Mohammad Ali Mohammad Abu Arram and Khalil Yunis Abu Arram located in Halawat village located in south east Yatta town for allegedly being built without a license and confiscated Solar panels used for an electrical generator.
- October 11th 2018: Israeli forces demolished a home and a livestock shed owned by Omar Aref Ibshirat located in Al-Hadadiya village in the North Jordan valley for allegedly being built without a license.
- October 17th 2018: Israeli forces stormed Jabal Al-Mukabir neighborhood in Jerusalem city and demolished a 100 m2 home owned by the family of Khalil Za'atra for allegdly being built without a license.
- October 17th 2018: Israeli forces demolished a home owned by Mahmoud Shihada Abu Taha {approximately 230 m2 and consists of 2 floors} for allegedly being built without a license during their raid into Khilat Al-Mayat village located in east Yatta town.
- October 17th 2018 Israeli forces demolished a home owned by Musalam Ma'rouf Musalam Khirbiet Um Al-Marjam village located near Duma village for allegedly being built without a license.
- October 17th 2018: Israeli forces demolished a love stock den owned by Abdel-Min'em Al-Hamoudat located in in Khirbeit Aghiyoun village located in south Al-Samou' town for allegedly being built without a license.
- October 17th 2018: Israeli forces demolished 2 tents owned by Khader Al-Nawaj'a located near Rajil Al-Hamra area in Susiiya village located in east Yatta town for allegedly being built without a license.
- October 18th 2018: Israeli forces demolished a home {80 m}, 3 tents , 2 livestock dens {200 and 300 m} and a livestock den {500 m} owned by Khalid Rushdi Mohammad Sawafta on Bardala village located in the North Jordan valley.
- October 18th 2018: Israeli forces demolished a home {consisting of 3 floors} owned by Khamis Matariya for allegedly being built without a license in Al-Bireh city.
- October 18th 2018: Israeli forces demolished a home owned by Musalam Ma'rouf Musalam Khirbiet Um Al-Marjam village located near Duma village for allegedly being built without a license.
- October 29th 2018: Israeli forces demolished a home {under construction} owned by Salah Mohammad Fahidat for allegedly being built without a license.
- October 31st 2018: Israeli forces demolished 2 storage rooms owned by Jihad Burqan and Fadil Burqan in the Birien village located between Bani Na'im and Yatta towns for allegedly being built without a license.

Attack on Public and Private property occurred as follows per District:
Jerusalem:
- October 3rd 2018: Israeli forces demolished several merchants shops owned by Ghalib Mohammad Salem Salah Al-Din for allegedly being built without a license during their raid into Hizma town.
- October 3rd 2018: Israeli forces prevented the establishment of a ceremony to honor Teachers which was scheduled to be held at the Arab Children's House on the 20th anniversary of the death of the founding director of the schools of Jerusalem - Hosni al-Ashbab during which they served an order preventing organized events in the area which are sponsored and organized by the Palestinian National Authority, and forced the participants to leave the venue.
- October 3rd 2018: Israeli forces stormed Al-Shiekh Jarrah neighborhood in Jerusalem city and closed down Al-Basha Restaurant {which is owned by Ahmad Sab Al-Labban} until October 13th 2018 for allegedly having workers who don’t have entry permits to work in Jerusalem city.
- October 14th 2018: Israeli forces stormed Wadi Al-Rababa area located in Silwan neighborhood in Jerusalem city and uprooted several Olive trees planted on large area of residential owned land.
- October 24th 2018: Israeli forces surrounded the Headquarters of the Governorate of Jerusalem located in Dahiyat Al-Barid area in Jerusalem city, and prevented staff from entering or leaving the headquarters.
Tubas:
- October 11th 2018: Israeli forces demolished a livestock shed owned by Omar Aref Ibshirat located in Al-Hadadiya village in the North Jordan valley for allegedly being built without a license.
- October 18th 2018: Israeli forces stormed Tel Al-Hamat area located in the North Jordan valley and served a military order to halt constructions on a plot of land approximately 20 dunums {despite the fact that the land is officially registered by the Land Authority}.
- October 18th 2018: Israeli forces demolished a home {80 m}, 3 tents , 2 livestock dens {200 and 300 m} and a livestock den {500 m} owned by Khalid Rushdi Mohammad Sawafta on Bardala village located in the North Jordan valley.
- October 24th 2018: Israeli forces stormed Khirbeit Thar'a area in the North Jordan valley and served a military order to halt construction on 17 homes and agricultural structure for allegedly being built without a license.
- October 25th 2018: Israeli forces stormed Deir Ibziq village and served a military order to halt construction on an agricultural farm {approximately 30 dunums} owned by Mohammad Mahmoud Sawaft for allegedly being archaeological site.
Qalqiliya:
- October 13th 2018: Israeli forces destroyed a main water pipeline {which provides water to the village} during their raid into Kafr Qaddum village and prevented the village council from repairing it.
Jericho:
- October 22nd 2018: Israeli forces leveled land in Fasayil village and as a result destroyed and uprooted 30 Olive and citric fruit trees and other plants owned by Hussien Rashaydat.
Hebron:
- October 17th 2018: Israeli forces demolished Israeli forces demolished a love stock den owned by Abdel-Min'em Al-Hamoudat located in in Khirbeit Aghiyoun village located in south Al-Samou' town for allegedly being built without a license.
- October 22nd 2018: Israeli forces stormed Jamourat area located near Tarqumiya crossing point and uprooted 320 Olive tree planted on 14 dunums of land and demolished a water network owned by Fatafta and Al-Ja'four families {from Tarqumiya town} and Al-Asfour family {from Beit Kahil town}.
- October 29th 2018: Israeli forces uprooted 200 Olive tree's {which were planted 10 years ago}, demolished concrete and steel fencing surrounding the plot of land owned by Hijazi Mohammad Al-Tarshan for allegedly being too close to the separation wall and also leveled a plot of land owned by Soliman Mahmoud Al-Da'im and removed steel fencing surrounding a plot of land owned by Hazim Al-Amlat in Khirbeit Kharouf area located in west Beit Ola town.
Gaza:
- October 27th 2018: Israeli military aircraft completely destroyed a building {consisting of 4 floors} and damaged several other homes in the area.
Rafah:
- October 20th 2018: Israeli missile strikes destroyed a motorcycle located near the border fence in east Rafah city.
Confiscation of Property:
Jerusalem:
- October 3rd 2018: Israeli forces confiscated contents owned by Ghalib Mohammad Salem Salah Al-Din as they demolished his merchants shops during their raid into Hizma town.
Ramallah & Al-Bireh:
- October 7th 2018: Israeli forces confiscated 2500 NIS from the home of Zuhier Samad'a during their raid into Al-Jalazoun camp.
- October 17th 2018: Israeli forces confiscated 920 USD, 120 JD and a computer from the home of Ahmad Abd Rabbo Mahmoud Shawabqa {A Palestinian Detainee} during their raid into Ramallah city.
Jenin:
- October 18th 2018: On the morning of October 18th 2018, Israeli forces confiscated a mobile home owned by Hishma Mustafa Hamouda during their raid into Imrayha village located in South Ya'bad town.

- October 23rd 2018: Israeli forces stormed Khirbiet Ibziq village and dismantled 2 caravans used as classrooms for "Marwan Imjali secondary school" in Khirbiet Deir Ibziq village then proceeded to confiscate the structure.

- October 15th 2018: Israeli settlers from "Kafar Adumim" settlement pumped sewage waste from inside the settlement onto land near the Bedouin community {which is under threat of forcible relocation by the Israeli Military} in Al-Khan Al-Ahmar area.
Ramallah &Al-Bireh:
- October 3rd 2018: a group of Israeli settlers stormed agricultural land in Turmus'aya town and uprooted 40 Olive trees owned by Mahmoud Ahmad Hassan.
- October 3rd 2018: An Israeli settlers driving his vehicles near Ni'lin town junction ran over Nasif Salah Khalifa {A resident of Ni'lin town} and as a result left him hospitalized with contusions.
- October 5th 2018: a group of Israeli settlers stormed agricultural land {which is under threat of confiscation by the Israeli military} in Al-Mazra'a Al-Gharbiya village during which Israeli forces fired rubber coated steel bullets, stun and tear gas canisters towards several residents who attempted to prevent the settler attack and as a result injured 4 residents {including a child}, temporarily detained a resident and released him at a later time then withdrew at 16:00.
- October 7th 2018: a group of Israeli settlers stormed agricultural land in Sinjil town, attacked several residents and farmers {who were collecting Olive harvests} then withdrew under the protection of the Israeli military.

- October 17th 2018: Israeli settlers from "Shadmot Migola" settlement located in the North Jordan valley chased several residents who were herding their goats near the settlement and proceeded to steel a goat owned by Barakat Ali Zahoud Abu Muh'sien {A resident of Al-Farisiya village} then was returned to the owner at a later time.

- October 10th 2018: Israeli settlers stormed Orif village, threw stones towards a school and as a result broke several windows during which Israeli forces stormed the school and removed the students from their class rooms as they clashed with several residents and as a result injured 2 residents and withdrew at 12:30.
- October 10th 2018: An Israeli settler positioned near Al-Libban Al-Sharqiya village junction attempted to abduct the child: Mohammad Raed Aweis {12 years old} after he got out of his vehicle, chased him and grasped him before several shepherds in the area were able to release the child from the settler.
- October 11th 2018: a group of Israeli settlers positioned near "Yitshar" settlement located in North Huwara town stoned vehicles travelling near the area and as a result shattered a vehicles windshield.
- October 13th 2018: a group of Israeli settlers stormed agricultural land in Burin village, attacked several residents and farmers who were picking Olive harvest on their land and stole several of their belongings used for olive picking.

- October 17th 2018: a group of Israeli settlers from "Yitshar" settlement stormed Orif village and stoned several residents homes and as a result broke the windows of homes owned by Jamal Abu Zienat and Najah Abed Abu Thib during which Israeli forces fired stun and tear gas canisters towards several residents who attempted to prevent the settler attack.

- October 18th 2018: a group of Israeli settlers from "Yitzhar" settlement stormed the east area of Orif village, attacked a local school and assaulted several residents who were picking Olives during which Israeli forces fired live ammunition, rubber coated steel bullets, stun and tear gas canisters towards several residents who attempted to prevent the settler attack and as a result left a resident hospitalized with injuries.
- October 20th 2018: a group of Israeli settlers stormed the south area of Burin village, attacked several residents who were collecting Olives then stoned the home of Bashir Hamza Al-Zaban and as a result shattered its windows then proceeded to damage a steel fence surrounding the home.
- October 20th 2018: a group of Israeli settlers from "Givat Gilad" settlement located along the main road connecting Qalqiliya and Nablus stoned vehicle travelling along the road and as a result damaged the vehicle of Ahmad Al-Sadat {A resident of Jit village in Qalqiliya district}.

- October 6th 2018: a group of Israeli settlers positioned near the entrance of "Qaddumim" settlement stoned residents and vehicles travelling near the settlement and as a result shattered the windshield of a Taxi cab then withdrew at a later time.
- October 6th 2018: a group of Israeli settlers stormed agricultural land in Immatin village and dug holes in order to install electrical poles and electrical network as well as water pipe lines and also placed construction material on the plot of land which is planted with Olive trees owned by Fawzi Ghanam {A resident of Immatin village}.
- October 7th 2018: a group of Israeli settlers stormed agricultural land in Far'ata village, attacked several farmers who were harvesting Olives and chased them away from the area.
- October 28th 2018: a group of Israeli settler stormed agricultural land owned by Jamil Yammin and his brothers located in the area between Jit and Kafr Qaddum villages and assaulted several residents.
Salfit:
- October 5th 2018: a group of Israeli settlers from "Brukhin" settlement stormed agricultural land and attacked Ashraf Tahseen Othman and his family as they were harvesting Olives on their agricultural land located near the settlement during which the settlers later withdrew under the protection of the Israeli Military.
- October 5th 2018: Israeli settlers assaulted Mohammad Jamil Souf {A resident of Harris town} as he was harvesting Olive on his agricultural land.
- October 8th 2018: a group of Israeli settlers stormed Bidya town, stoned and shamed the windows of 10 vehicles and slashed their tires then proceeded to attack a merchant shop owned by Mohammad Khader Rayan.
- October 9th 2018: a group of Israeli settlers stormed agricultural land in Bruqin town which is located near the bypass road next to "Brughin" settlement and uprooted 39 Olive and almond trees which were planted between 2 and 20 years ago and are owned by Jamal Othman Salama.
- October 9th 2018: a group of Israeli settlers stormed a plot of land located in the area between Kafr Al-Dik and Sarata towns during which local residents were able to chase them away from the area.
- October 22nd 2018: Israeli settlers stormed Marda village, slashed the tires of 7 vehicles owned by Omar Sidqi Khafash, Nashat Khafash, Hussein Hassan Said, Ahmed Saleh Ibdah, Samih Ibdah, Mohammad Ibdah and Saed Taha Ibdah then spray painted anti-Arab and racist graffiti onto the vehicles.

Jericho:
- October 29th 2018: A group of settlers were discovered to have been taken to a "deserted" camp near the settlement of Masouka, located near the 90th line in the Jordan Valley area. Some 12 settler families moved into six buildings inside the camp in an attempt to establish a new settlement.
Bethlehem:
- October 5th 2018: Israeli settlers positioned near the west entrance of Teqou' town after an alleged stoning incident towards settler vehicles then withdrew at a later time.
- October 14th 2018: a group of Israeli settlers from "Evrat" settlement stormed residential owned land in Al-Harayiq area and chopped down and uprooted 370 trees and 30 Olive trees owned by Ibrahim Soliman Subieh.
- October 15th 2018: a group of Israeli settlers from "Evrat" settlement stormed residential owned land in Al-Harayiq area and chopped down and uprooted 370 trees and 30 Olive trees owned by Ibrahim Soliman Subieh.
- October 17th 2018: a group of Israeli settlers stormed agricultural land in Khilat Al-Nahla area located in Irtas village then withdrew at 19:40.
Hebron:
- October 3rd 2018: An Israeli settler driving his vehicle along the main road near Ghouwin which is located in south Al-Samou' town ran over a herd of goats owned by Ismail Mohammad Al-Daghamin and as a result killed 7 goats.
- October 3rd 2018: a group of Israeli settlers stormed the old city of Hebron and set fire to a home owned by Iz Al-Din Al-Sharabati.
- October 13th 2018: group of Israeli settlers from "Ramat Yashi" settlement outpost located in Tel Al-Rumayda neighborhood in the old city of Hebron assaulted Nidal Salhab Al-Tamimi and as a result left him hospitalized with facial injuries and contusions.
- October 18th 2018: Israeli settlers stormed Halhul town and threw old clothes towards Al-Nabi Yunis mosque then fled the area.
- October 19th 2018: Israeli settlers positioned near Al-Fuwar junction stoned residents and vehicles traveling near the area
- October 26th 2018: a group of Israeli settlers stormed Al-Ibrahimiya Square near the Ibrahimi Mosque in the old city of Hebron, on the pretext of celebrating Jewish holidays, and placed a wall and barbed wire in the vicinity of the square.
- October 29th 2018: Israeli settlers stormed 3 homes owned by Arafa, Al-Awawyi and Al-Hamouz families in the old city of Hebron.
- October 31st 2018: a group of Israeli settlers positioned near Al-Ibrahimi mosque compound in the old city of Hebron assaulted Yacoub Abu Sha'ban who was later temporarily detained by Israeli forces.
Closure of Crossing Points
The Israeli military completely closed crossing points into the Gaza Strip, including access points within the Green Line, on 153 occasions during the month of October 2018. The Israeli military closed crossing points within the Green Line on 113 occasions. It opened Beit Hanun (Erez) Crossing for 23 days for previously-coordinated humanitarian cases and foreign nationals and Karm Abu Salem (Karem Shalom) Crossing for 19 days for transportation of food supplies, humanitarian aid, and cooking gas. In addition to allowing in animal feed, construction cargo designated for UNRWA and internationally-funded projects was transported through the Crossing. Sufa Crossing was closed throughout the month. On the other hand, the Israeli authorities have continued to unilaterally close Ash Shuja’iya (Nahal ‘Oz) Crossing. Beginning on 02 March 2011, the Israeli authorities has also continued to completely close Al Muntar (Karnei) Commercial Crossing.
The Israeli military closed international crossing points on 40 occasions. Rafah Crossing was closed on 9 occasions. Yasser Arafat International Airport has remained closed since the outbreak of the second Intifada.
