The following summary tables and overview of events survey hostile Israeli activities during the period 01 July 2018 to July 31 2018. The report includes a summary table of events, classified by type, throughout the West Bank and Gaza Strip, in addition to a comparative table surveying events over the past three months. The survey is compiled from the Daily Situation Reports of the Palestinian Monitoring Group (PMG) of the Negotiations Affairs Department (NAD) of the Palestine Liberation Organization (PLO). The PMG monitors ground conditions in the West Bank and Gaza Strip, including Israeli and Palestinian violations. The information reported through the PMG process represents data available at the time of distribution only.

Analysis of Events
Killings
A total of 24 residents were killed by Israeli forces during the month of July 2018 {3 in the West Bank and 21 in Gaza:
- July 2nd 2018: Israeli forces positioned behind the Green Line opened fire towards several residents who attempted to climb the border fence from east Rafah city into Israel and as a result killed a unidentified resident {who's corpse was seized by the Israeli Military}, injured 2 others then detained 2 residents {including an injured resident} while another residents managed to escape.
- July 4th 2018: the child Mahmoud Majid Al-Gharbali {16 years old} {a resident of Gaza city} died of serious injuries sustained after being wounded by the Israeli Military during clashes in east Gaza city on May 14th 2018.
- July 6th 2018: Israeli forces fired live ammunition rubber coated steel bullets, stun and tear gas canisters towards several demonstrators in east Gaza city during right of return protests and as a result killed Mohammad Jamal Aliyan Abu Halimah {22 years old} {A resident of Al-Shija’iya neighborhood in Gaza city}, injured 15 residents and left 74 others suffocated from tear gas inhalation.
- July 8th 2018: On the morning of July 8th 2018, Yacoub Fayeq Nassar {20 years old}{A resident of Al-Fuwwar camp} died from Kidney failure complications as a result of critical injuries he sustained after being shot in his back by Israeli forces in 2009 that left him paralyzed and had one of his legs amputated.
- July 13th 2018: Israeli forces positioned behind the Green Line fired live ammunition, rubber coated steel bullets, stun and tear gas canisters towards several demonstrators in east Gaza city participating in the right of return march and as a result killed the child Othman Rami Hilis {15 years old} {A resident of Al-Shija'iya neighborhood in Gaza city}, injured 18 residents and left several others suffocated from tear gas inhalation.
- July 13th 2018: Israeli forces positioned behind the Green Line fired live ammunition, rubber coated steel bullets, stun and tear gas canisters towards several demonstrators in east Khuza'a town located in east Khan Yunis city participating in the right of return march and as a result killed Mohammad Nassar Sharab {19 years old} {A resident of Khan Yunis city}, injured 12 residents and left several others suffocated from tear gas inhalation.
- July 14th 2018: Israeli Military aircraft's launched 8 missiles towards a building in Al-Qutibat area located in west Gaza city and as a result killed 2 children: Loai Mazen Quheil {16 years old} and Ameer Waleed Al-Numrat {15 years old}and injured 25 others.
- July 17th 2018: On the morning of July 17th 2018, Sari Daud Al-Shubaki {28 years old}{A resident of Al-Tufah neighborhood in Gaza city} died of injuries sustained after Israeli forces opened fire towards demonstrators in east Gaza city on May 14th 2018.
- July 19th 2018: Israeli Military Jets launched a missile towards Palestinian Gunmen sites in east Rafah city and as a result killed Abdel-Kareem Ismail Radwan {38 years old} {A resident of Rafah city and injured 3 unidentified residents {including 1 critically injured}.
- July 20th 2018: Israeli forces positioned behind the Green Line fired live ammunition, rubber coated steel bullets, stun and tear gas canisters towards several demonstrators in east Gaza city participating in the right of return march and as a result killed Mohammad Yusef Badwan {27 years old} {A resident of Gaza city}, injured 11 unidentified residents and left 17 other unidentified residents suffocated from tear gas inhalation.
- July 20th 2018: Israeli forces positioned behind the Green Line launched 3 tank artillery shells towards Palestinian Gunmen sites in east Khan Yunis city and as a result killed 2 Palestinian Gunmen: Mohammad Riyad Farahna {31 years old} and Sha'ban Rajab Abu Khater {26 years old} {both are residents of Khan Yunis city}.
- July 20th 2018: Israeli forces positioned behind the Green Line launched 3 tank artillery shells towards Palestinian Gunmen sites in east Rafah city and as a result killed a Palestinian gunman: Mahmoud Khalil Qashta {23 years old} {A resident of Rafah city}.
- July 22nd 2018: Karam Ibrahim Arafat {26 years old} {a resident of Abbsan Al-Jadidah town} died of injuries sustained after Israeli forces opened fire towards demonstrators in east Gaza city on May 14th 2018.
- July 23rd2018: Israeli forces fired live ammunition, rubber coated steel bullets, stun and tear gas canisters towards several residents for alleged stoning as they stormed and searched several homes during their raids into Bethlehem city and Al-Duhisheh camp and as a result killed the child Arkan Thaer Mizhir {15 years old}, injured 2 residents and left several others suffocated from tear gas inhalation.
- July 24th 2018: Majd Suhiel Mohammad Aqil {26 years old} {a resident of Jabaliya camp} died of injuries sustained after Israeli forces opened fire towards demonstrators in east Gaza city on May 14th 2018.
- July 25th 2018: Israeli forces positioned behind the Green Line launched tank artillery shells towards Palestinian Gunmen sites located in east Gaza city and as a result killed 3 Palestinian Gunmen: Ahmad Muneer Suliman Al-Basous {28 years old}, Obada Assad Khadr Farouna {29 years old} and Mohammad Tawfiq Mohammad Al-Arir {27 years old} and left another critically injured.
- July 26th 2018: The child Mohammad Tarik Dar Yusef {A resident of Kobar village located in Ramallah and Al-Bireh district} was killed after Israeli forces opened fire towards him near "Adam" settlement located in Jaba' town for allegedly stabbing 3 Israeli settlers {which killed 1 Israeli settler and injured 2 others}.
- July 27th 2018: Israeli forces positioned behind the Green Line fired live ammunition, rubber coated steel bullets, stun and tear gas canisters towards several residents participating in protests commemorating the Right of Return in east Al-Khuz'a town located Khan Yunis city and as a result killed: Ghazi Mohammad Abu Mustafa {43 years old}{A resident of Khan Yunis city} injured 145 residents in the Gaza strip {including 116 from live ammunition, 26 children, 3 women, 6 paramedics, 2 journalists and 6 critically injured} and left several others suffocated from tear gas inhalation.
July 27th 2018: Israeli forces positioned behind the Green Line fired live ammunition, rubber coated steel bullets, stun and tear gas canisters towards several residents participating in protests commemorating the Right of Return in east Rafah city and as a result killed 2 children Majdi Ramzi Kamal Al-Satri {12 years old}{A resident of Rafah city } and Ma'moun Fathi Al-Hums {17 years old} injured 145 residents in the Gaza strip {including 116 from live ammunition, 26 children, 3 women, 6 paramedics, 2 journalists and 6 critically injured} and left several others suffocated from tear gas inhalation

Closure
Especially on Fridays, the Israeli military continues to intensify restrictions at checkpoints located at the entrances of Jerusalem, and to restrict entrance to the Al Aqsa Mosque compound in the old city of Jerusalem, preventing worshippers from accessing the Mosque. At the Qalandiya checkpoint north of Jerusalem, the Israeli military continues to prevent PNA registered civilian vehicles from crossing the checkpoint towards Ar Ram and Qalandiya as well as Dahiyat al Bareed. The checkpoint is overcrowded daily, particularly during rush hours, due to intensified restrictions and search measures applied by Israeli troops. During the month of July 2018 the Israeli military also continued to intensify restrictions at the Tayasir checkpoint and Al Hamra junction checkpoint leading to the Jordan Valley area, only allowing access to civilians whose IDs indicate District of Jericho residence or others holding special access permits. In addition, restrictions were intensified and civilian access was obstructed at the Za’tara junction checkpoint (separating the northern and central West Bank districts) as well as at the As Sawahira ash Sharqiya (the ‘Container’) checkpoint (separating the central and southern West Bank districts).
The Israeli military installed 332 flying checkpoints in June 2018 (compared with 270 in June and 259 in May 2018) and as a result restricted the free access and movement of residents, merchant supplies and agricultural goods.

The Israeli military carried out a total of 563 raids in Palestinian residential areas during the month of July 2018, including 551 in the West Bank and 12 in the Gaza Strip. Attacks on residential areas in West Bank districts
Home Demolition
During the month of July 2018, the Israeli military demolished 14 Palestinian homes and residential tents, which consisted of the following:
- July 2nd 2018: Israeli forces stormed Battir village and demolished a 120 m home {located in Al-Hummar area} owned by Raed Abu Harthiya for allegedly not having proper files and detailed blueprints in Israeli Custodian of Absentee Property department.
- July 4th 2018: Israeli forces demolished 2 Bedouin homes in Abu Al-Nuwar Bedouin Community which is located in east Al-Eizariya town.
- July 5th 2018: Israeli forces demolished 2 Bedouin homes in Abu Al-Nuwar Bedouin Community which is located in east Al-Eizariya town.
- July 15th 2018: Israeli forces stormed Um Al-Marajim area located in south Madama village and demolished 2 old homes {which were recently renovated by its owners} owned by Ma'rouf Saleem Musalim and Ameen Saleem Al-Sharabati for allegedly not having proper licensing because of their location in area C.
- July 17th 2018: Israeli forces demolished a concrete wall and a livestock den owned by Saleh Sa'ed Abu Khdeir located Shu'fat camp in Jerusalem city for allegedly being built without a license.
- July 18th 2018: Israeli Military forces stormed Silwan neighborhood in Jerusalem city and forced Jamal Hadiya to demolish his own home and fined him for allegedly being built without a license
- July 18th 2018: Israeli forces stormed Al-Tur neighborhood in Jerusalem city and demolished an apartment {located on the pent house floor} on a 5 floor building owned by Abu Sbatin family for allegedly being built without a license.
- July 18th 2018: Israeli forces demolished a home {approximately 120 m} owned by Allam Sa'id Abdallah located in Ein Al-Diyook Al-Tahta village for allegedly being built without a license.
- July 19th 2018: the Israeli Military forced the families of Abu Irmeleh and Al-Shawamra to demolish 4 homes they own and fined them for being built without a license claiming that the land is owned by settlers.

Jerusalem:
- July 2nd 2018: Israeli forces demolished a car wash in Wadi Qaddum area of Silwan neighborhood in Jerusalem city for allegedly being built without a license.
- July 5th 2018: Israeli forces positioned in Al-Khan Al-Ahmar area located in east Jerusalem city temporally seized 4 vehicles {one of which is for "Wafa" News agency} and took them to a Israeli Police station for alleged entering a closed Military area.
- July 5th 2018: Israeli forces demolished 3 agricultural Greenhouses owned by Malik Subieh, Nader Salem and Hani Attallah and also demolished "Al-Suwery" Plastic pot shop in Hizma town for allegedly being built with licenses.
- July 11th 2018: Israeli Archaeological Authorities stormed Al-Suwana neighborhood in Jerusalem city and leveled a plot of land owned by the Islamic Wafq Association.
- July 17th 2018: Israeli forces demolished a concrete wall, a livestock den and a home owned by Salah Sa'id Abu Khdeir located Shu'fat camp in Jerusalem city for allegedly being built without a license.
- July 17nd 2018: Israeli forces demolished a concrete wall located on a plot of land owned by Alqam family located in Atur neighborhood in Jerusalem city for allegedly being built without a license.
- July 17th 2018: Israeli forces demolished a car wash in Wadi Qddum area located in Silwan neighborhood of Jerusalem city for allegedly being built without a license.
- July 17th 2018: Israeli forces demolished a livestock den owned by Mahmoud Abu Teir in Um Tuba village for allegedly being built without a license.
- July 25th 2018: Israeli forces demolished a kindergarten and a woman's center in Bedouin community located in Jabal Al-Baba area in east Al-Eizariya town.
Tubas:
- July 2nd 2018: Israeli forces stormed Ras Al-Ahmar area located in the North Jordan valley and chased away several farmers who were farming their agricultural land.
- July 4th 2018: Israeli forces demolished a water pond {used for livestock irrigation} for allegedly not having proper licensing in Al-Farisiya area located in the North Jordan valley.
- July 24th 2018: Israeli forces stormed Khirbeit Ras Al-Ahmar area in the North Jordan valley area and leveled and destroyed several water pipe lines approximately 1500 m long and 6 inches wide.
- July 25th 2018: Israeli forces positioned near Ein Al-Bayda village located in the North Jordan valley area prevent the construction of livestock Den owned by Aysar Sa'ed Dabiyat for allegedly being built near "Migola" settlement.
- July 31st 2018: Israeli forces near the entrance of Bardala village leveled a water pump for allegedly attempting to locate illegal water sources.
Tulkarem:
- July 23rd 2018: Israeli forces damaged a vehicle owned by Saleem Mohammad Ammar after storming and searching his home during their raid into Quffin town.
Nablus:
- July 2nd 2018: Israeli forces positioned in Sahil area located in Jalloud village prevented several farmers from harvesting wheat crops on agricultural land approximately 250 dunums and removed them from the area for a period of 2 hours then informed them that they are not allowed to harvest their wheat crops.
- July 8th 2018: Israeli forces positioned at a flying checkpoint near Deir Sharaf village junction {located along the main road connecting Nablus and Tulkarm} blew up a vehicle owned by Haytham Nour Balidi {A resident of Nur Al-Shams camp in Tulkarm city} after they detained 2 residents from inside the vehicle for allegedly carrying explosive material.
- July 19h 2018: Israeli military forces stormed Faroush Beit Dajjan village and leveled water pipes and shut down the main water supply pipeline used for irrigation of agricultural crop on land approximately 300 dunums allegedly claiming they were installed illegally.
- July 25th 2018: Israeli forces stormed Faroush Beit Dajjan village and shut down 2 main water pipe lines which supply water to the village residents claiming that the pipeline was installed illegally.
Salfit:
- July 4th 2018: Israeli forces prevented several farmers from reaching their agricultural lands in Iskaka village which is located behind the wall near "Arail" settlement despite having valid entry permits to enter through the wall gate.
- July 18th 2018: Israeli forces uprooted 350 Olive trees owned by Idris Jabara Abdallah as they leveled a plot of agricultural land planted with Olive trees in Bab Al-Marj area located in east Deir Ballout town for the purpose of constructing a water waste treatment plant for "Lashim" settlement outpost which is located on land in Deir Ballout town.
Bethlehem:
- July 2nd 2018: Israeli forces demolished a tent located on privately owned land in Bitteir village for allegedly not having proper licensing.
Hebron:
- July 23rd 2018: Israeli forces positioned near "Bani Havir" settlement located in South Beini na'im town temporarily seized a vehicle owned by the Palestinian Ministry of Agriculture then released them at a later time.
- July 30th 2018: Israeli forces demolished livestock den owned by Ismail Hussien Zien located in Tuba area in south east Yatta town for allegedly being built without a license.
Confiscation of Property:
Jerusalem:
- July 16h 2018: Israeli forces confiscated a computer owned by Mohammad Yuns after detaining him during their raid into Kafr Aqab town.
Ramallah & Al-Bireh:
- July 7th 2018: Israeli forces positioned at a flying checkpoint at Eyoun Al-Haramiya area junction {located along the main road connecting Ramallah and Nablus districts} confiscated a vehicle owned by Suliman Ahmad Nabhan Saqer {A resident of Nablus city}.
- July 10th 2018: Israeli forces confiscated Surveillance camera footage after storming and searching "Al-Bark" Gas Station located near Al-Jalazoun camp.
- July 12th 2018: Israeli forces confiscated surveillance camera footage after storming 2 gas stations during their raid into Beituniya town.
- July 15th 2018: Israeli forces confiscated a vehicle owned by Mohammad Nael Sharaqa after detaining him during their raid into Al-Jalazun camp.
- July 17th 2018: Israeli forces confiscated a vehicle owned by Matariya family during their raid into Al-Bireh city.

Settlement Activity:
- July 18th 2018: Israeli forces positioned at Bab Al-Marj area located in east Deir Ballout town leveled a plot of agricultural land planted with Olive trees for the purpose of constructing a water waste treatment plant for "Lashim" settlement outpost which is located on land in Deir Ballout town and as a result uprooted 350 Olive trees owned by Idris Jabara Abdallah.
- July 19th 2018: Israeli Authorities approved plans for the construction of a road linking "Ofarim" and "Beit Raya" settlements.
- July 21st 2018: Israeli Authorities approved plans for the constriction of 20 new settlement units in "Asfar Mistad" settlement located in east Sa'ir town and also issued the tenders to begin the construction phase.
- July 24th 2018: Israeli forces stormed Ras Al-Ahm, ar area in the North Jordan valley and paved a road {2.5 km long on Palestinian owned land} which connects the main road with Al-Khirat area and Mashbeek area which was declared by the Israeli military as a closed military zone and a firing range.

- July 17th 2018: a group of Israeli settlers stormed Jerusalem city and assaulted the family of a martyr while they were attending a court hearing at the Israeli Supreme court.
- July 21st 2018: a group of Israeli settlers under the protection of the Israeli Military and Police forces stormed Bab Al-Rahma cemetery located on the east side of Al-Aqsa mosque compound in the old city of Jerusalem then performed Talmudic rituals and stormed the main gate of Al-Aqsa mosque and provoked worshipers by performing Talmudic rituals near the gates of Al-Aqsa mosque compound.
- July 28th 2018: a group of Israeli settlers from "Adam" settlement which is located on land in Jaba' town stoned vehicles travelling along the main road near the settlement and as a result injured a resident from Anata town.
Ramallah &Al-Bireh:
- July 11th 2018: a group of Israeli settlers riding in 3 vehicles stormed Turmus'aya town then withdrew at a later time.
- July 17th 2018: a group of Israeli settlers stormed Beit Illo village and assaulted Mohammad Eid Darwish and as a result left him hospitalized with contusions.
- July 20th 2018: a group of Israeli settlers from "Halmish" settlement stormed Al-Nabi Saleh and Deir Intham villages and attacked a group of hikers as they were hiking in the area to reach Beit Illo village and Ein Al-Zarqa {natural springs} and threatened them with weapons to prevent them from continuing their hiking route then assaulted several of the hikers and shouted racist slanders and cursed them.
- July 21st 2018: a group of Israeli settlers positioned near "Bet El" settlement located i n North Al-Bireh city stoned residents and vehicles travelling along the main road near Al-Jalazoun camp.
- July 30th 2018: a group of Israeli settlers stormed Al-Mughier village and slashed the tires of 8 vehicles and spray painted racist and anti Arab slogans on the walls of a home.
Tubas:
- July 9th 2018: a group of Israeli settlers positioned in the area between "Maskiyot" and "Rotem" settlement located near Ein Al-Hilwa area of the North Jordan valley and installed a mobile trailer in the area.
- July 15th 2018: a group of Israeli settlers under the protection of the Israeli Military forcibly removed several residents and prevented several Sheppard's from herding in Al-Rawi'ya area located in east Khilat Al-Mak'houl in the North Jordan valley.
- July 16th 2018: a group of Israeli settlers stormed Khirbeit Imzoqih located in the North Jordan valley and installed live stock barns and Solar panels for electric generators.
- July 28th 2018: 7 armed Israeli settlers stormed a natural water spring located in Al-Hamat area of the North Jordan valley then withdrew at a later time.
Nablus:
- July 6th 2018: , Israeli settlers stormed the eastern area of Orif village and set fired to several Olive and Almond trees and also broke the limbs of several other trees during which Israeli Military forces fired rubber coated steel bullets, stun and tear gas canisters towards several residents who attempted to prevent the settler attack {the Israeli settler attack resulted in the damage of the following : broke the limbs of 40 Olive trees owned by Issam Al-Safadi, 62 Olive trees owned by Mohammad Shihadeh, set fire to 7 Olive trees and 14 almond trees, 1 Fig tree and a grape vine owned by Mohammad Sawalmah and broke the limbs of 12 Almond and Olive trees owned by Raed Sabah, broke the limbs of 14 Olive trees owned by Najeh Shihadeh and set fire to 18 Fig and Pomegranate trees owned by Shaher Hihadeh}.
- July 10th 2018: a group of Israeli settlers stormed agricultural land in Burin village then withdrew under the protection of the Israeli Military.
- July 11th 2018: a group of Israeli settlers positioned at Duma village junction then withdrew at 20:35.
- July 13th 2018: a group of Israeli settlers stormed Orif village, set fire to 2 vehicles owned by Ziyad Abdel-Azziz Shihadeh then spray painted the Star of David and threats towards Palestinians in Hebrew.
- July 17th 2018: a group of Israeli settlers stormed Assira Al-Qibliya village, set fire to agricultural land, attacked 4 homes owned by Ibrahim Mohammad Makhlouf, Abdel-Bassit Mohammad Ahmad, Ahmad Abdallah Ahmad and Mohammad Yahya Suliman Saleh and damaged a vehicle then withdrew under the protection of the Israeli Military.
- July 17th 2018: a group of Israeli settlers stormed agricultural land in Huwara town and stole agricultural harvest owned by Jamal Abdel Hadi Eid during which Israeli forces returned the stolen harvest to the owner through the Palestinian Security Coordination Office.
- July 24th 2018: a group of Israeli settlers under the protection of the Israeli Military stormed the public parks and water springs in Al-Bithan village located in east Nablus city.
- July 27th 2018: an Israeli settler attacked and assaulted Majdi Dirgham Aweis {A resident of Burin village} after their vehicles collided during which Israeli forces removed the settler from the area.
- July 27th 2018: a group of Israeli settlers from "Ayash Qudish" settlement outpost located in east Jalloud village and set fire to a home owned by Tawfiq Shwakiya and broke the limbs of several Olive and Almond trees.
- July 28th 2018: a group of Israeli settlers from "Barghat" settlement stormed agricultural land in Jabal Al-Sab' area located in east Burin village and set fire to several Olive trees then withdrew under the protection of the Israeli Military.
- July 29th 2018: a group of Israeli settlers set fire to a plot of land in Qaryout village during which local residents were able to extinguish the fire at 23:00.
Qalqiliya:
- July 5th 2018: Israeli settlers stormed Far'ata village and stoned the homes of Kamal Odeh Al-Taweel and his brother Azziz.
- July 8th 2018: a group of Israeli settlers stormed the main road connecting Qalqiliya and Nablus then blocked the road to impede the free flow of traffic and stoned several residents and vehicles.
Bethlehem:
- July 5th 2018: a group of Israeli settlers stormed agricultural land in Al-Thagra area in Al-Khadr town located near "Danail" settlement and uprooted 350 Grape vines owned by Islam Ali Jabr.
- July 7th 2018: a group of Israeli settler stormed agricultural land in Ein Al-Asafeer area located in Al-Khadr town and located near "Efrat" and "El'azar" settlements then uprooted 200 Grape vines owned by Hussien Ismail Ba'rat.
Hebron:
- July 1st 2018: a group of Israeli settlers stormed Al-Sahlat area located in the old city of Hebron and attacked 2 homes owned by Qufshiuya families during which Israeli forces temporarily detained 3 children as they attempted to prevent the settler attack then released them at a later time.
- July 2nd 2018: a group of Israeli settlers stormed Al-Shuhada road in the old city of Hebron and hung posters on the home of Sameh Zahda and proceeded to spray paint racist and anti-Arab- Graffiti and the outer walls of the home.
- July 4th 2018: a group of Israeli settlers from "Ramat Yishi" located in Tel Al-Rumayda neighbourhood in the old city of Hebron assaulted 3 residents during which Israeli forces detained a resident who attempted to prevent the settler attack.

- July 16th 2018: a group of Israeli settlers from "Ramat Yashi" settlement outpost in Tel Al-Rumayda neighbourhood in the old city of Hebron cut a section of the barbed wire fence installed around the home owned by Jawad Abu Eisha's family to prevent settlers from entering the property.
- July 20th 2018: Israeli settlers stormed Sussiya and Khirbiet Um Neir villages located in east Yatta town and performed Talmudic rituals.
- July 22nd 2018: a group of Israeli settlers stormed Sussiya village located in east Yatta town and preformed Talmudic rituals and chanted racist and anti-Arab slogans.
- July 28th 2018: a group of Israeli settlers from" Givat Ga'al" settlement outpost located in Jabal Jallis area which is located in the old city of Hebron and assaulted Rashid Al-Zarour Al-Tammimmi {60 years old} and threw stones towards him as he was near his home and as a result left him hospitalized with contusions.
- July 28th 2018: Israeli settlers stormed Tel Al-Rumayda neighbourhood in the old city of Hebron and assaulted Samer Mutlaq Ghannam and his wife Leena Mohammad Ghanam then sprayed pepper spray onto their faces which left them hospitalized from suffocation and contusions.
- July 30th 2018: a group of Israeli settlers assaulted the child Yusef Fawaz Qufshiya {13 years old} in the old city of Hebron and as a result left him hospitalized with contusions.
Closure of Crossing Points
The Israeli military completely closed crossing points into the Gaza Strip, including access points within the Green Line, on 147 occasions during the month of July 2018. The Israeli military closed crossing points within the Green Line on 105 occasions. It opened Beit Hanun (Erez) Crossing for 27 days for previously-coordinated humanitarian cases and foreign nationals and Karm Abu Salem (Karem Shalom) Crossing for 23 days for transportation of food supplies, humanitarian aid, and cooking gas. In addition to allowing in animal feed, construction cargo designated for UNRWA and internationally-funded projects was transported through the Crossing. Sufa Crossing was closed throughout the month. On the other hand, the Israeli authorities have continued to unilaterally close Ash Shuja’iya (Nahal ‘Oz) Crossing. Beginning on 02 March 2011, the Israeli authorities has also continued to completely close Al Muntar (Karnei) Commercial Crossing.
The Israeli military closed international crossing points on 42 occasions. Rafah Crossing was closed on 11 occasions. Yasser Arafat International Airport has remained closed since the outbreak of the second Intifada.
