DAILY SITUATION REPORT
08:00, 22nd July 2022 -08:00,23rd July 2022
At 14:30, the Israeli occupation forces set up a checkpoint on the road to the town of Beit Hanina - towards Qalandia Military Checkpoint, to search vehicles and check the identities of citizens.
1. At 18:50, the Israeli occupation forces raided the town of Abu Dis, and patrolled until 19:50.
2. At 20:30, the Israeli occupation forces raided the town of Al-Ram, and conducted the patrol until 23:30.
1. At 13:00, the Israeli occupation forces detained the civilian: Faris Yusef Makhamir in Shifat camp in Jerusalem city.
2. At 03:00, the Israeli occupation forces detained the civilians: Zuheir Al-Rajani and his son Hamza in Silwan neighborhood in Jerusalem city.
1. At 22:00, the Israeli occupation forces positioned in the village of Al-Isawiya, fired stun and tear gas canisters towards citizens for alleged stoning.
2. At 03:00, the Israeli occupation forces positioned in the Batn al-Hawa area in the Silwan neighborhood in Jerusalem, fired rubber-coated metal bullets, stun and tear gas canisters towards citizens for alleged stoning.
At 12:30, the Israeli occupation forces closed a number of roads in the Al-Tur neighborhood in Jerusalem, which led to obstruction of traffic.
1. On the evening of 07/ 22/ 2022, a group of Israeli settlers in Jerusalem attacked a unidentified citizen and sprayed pepper gas on his face, as a result of which he suffocated and burned.
2. At 03:00, a group of Israeli settlers in the Al-Masara neighborhood in Jerusalem attacked the vehicles of citizens passing by the area.
At 19:30, the Israeli occupation forces set up a checkpoint between the town of Turmusaya and the village of Al-Mughayyir, to search vehicles and check the identities of the citizens.
At 20:00, the Israeli occupation forces raided the town of Silwad, clashed with the citizens, as they stormed a number of houses, and detained a citizen, and withdrew at 00:15.
1. At 06:15, the Israeli occupation forces, the citizen: Musa Abdel Aziz Hamed - residents of Silwad town detained from inside a car showroom near Al-Jalazun camp.
2. The detainee in Silwad town is: Hassan Yasser Hammad.
At 20:00, the Israeli occupation forces fired rubber-coated metal bullets, stun and tear gas canisters towards citizens for alleged stoning as they stormed a number of houses during their raid into Silwad town.
At 12:00, a group of Israeli settlers stormed the national' agricultural lands in the plain area of Turmusaya town, and cut down the branches of 30 olive trees (known by their owners) Citizen: Shukri Saeed Zaatar, and closed Ziyad Abu Ein road near the plain with stones, to prevent citizens from reaching their lands and lose them.
On 07/22/2022, the Israeli occupation forces set up checkpoints at the entrances to the towns of Ya`bad and Arraba and the villages of Merka and Anza, to search vehicles and check the identities of citizens.
At 03:45, the Israeli occupation forces raided the city of Tulkarm, detention a citizen, and withdrew at 06:30.
The detainee in the city of Tulkarm is: Muhammad Sami Abd al-Rahim al-Akhras.
At 12:35, the Israeli occupation forces raided the town of Azzun, and conducted the patrol until 14:00.
At 13:30, the Israeli occupation forces positioned near the (closed) eastern entrance in the village of Kafr Qaddoum, fired rubber-coated metal bullets, stun and tear gas canisters towards demonstrators protesting against the closure of the entrance to the village, for alleged stoning and as a result injured 6 civilians, and left several others suffocated due to inhalation of tear gas.
6 unidentified civilians were injured during confrontations with the Israeli occupation forces near the (closed) eastern entrance in the village of Kafr Qaddoum.
At 20:20, the Israeli occupation forces physically assaulted two citizens: Ramzi Zahran Suwaidan and Moaz Bilal Suwaidan - residents of Azzun town, leaving them hospitalized with contusions.
At 19:35, the Israeli occupation forces tightened their procedures at the Hawara checkpoint, and obstructed traffic.
1. At 14:15, the Israeli occupation forces positioned in the village of Beit Dajan fired stun grenades and tear gas at citizens participating in a demonstration against settlers' attacks and land confiscation for settlement projects, as a result of which a number of citizens suffocated due to tear gas inhalation.
2. At 14:15, the Israeli occupation forces positioned in the vicinity of Jabal Sabeeh, in the town of Beita, fired stun grenades and tear gas at citizens participating in a demonstration against settlers’ attacks and land confiscation for settlement projects, as a result of which a number of citizens suffocated due to gas inhalation
At 21:00, the Israeli occupation forces raided the town of Bruqin, and they patrolled until 02:00.
1. At 12:25 a group of Israeli settlers entered the lands of citizens in the Wadi Qana area of Deir Istiya town, and destroyed and broke water and sewage lines and uprooted citrus trees in the area.
2. At 21:00, a group of Israeli settlers positioned near the town of Bruqin, severely beat the citizen: Raed Abdel Hakim Amer - a resident of the town of Kafr ad-Dik.
On the evening of 07/22/2022, the Israeli occupation forces tightened their procedures at the Hamra checkpoint, and obstructed traffic.
At noon on 07/ 22/ 2022, the Israeli occupation forces raided the archaeological area of Tel Jericho, located north of the city of Jericho (for the second day in a row), to accompany a group of settlers who performed the Talmudic rituals in the place.
1. At 17:00, the Israeli occupation forces positioned at the Hamra checkpoint, detained 3 citizens: Muhammad Khaled Muhammad al-Dush, Islam Nasser Shaaban Hudhaifa, and Hamza al-Namrouti - (all of them are residents of Askar camp in Nablus).
2. At 20:30, the Israeli occupation forces positioned at a checkpoint in Jericho governorate detained the citizen: Zaid Husam Harb - residents of Iskaka village in Salfit governorate.
At 20:30, the Israeli occupation forces positioned near the cemetery of Aqabat Jabr camp in the city of Jericho, fired stun and tear gas canisters towards citizens for alleged stoning.
On 07/22/ 2022, the Israeli occupation forces confiscated a bulldozer owned by the citizen: Murad Nayef and Khman near the village of Ain Shibli.
1. At 14:50, a group of Israeli settlers stormed the “Na’ran” synagogue in Jericho, and ran away when they saw the tourism representative.
2. At 19:10, a group of Israeli settlers, under the protection of the Israeli occupation forces, stormed the waterfall area of Al-Auja village and installed a number of tents and raised the Israeli flags on them and prevented the citizens from hiking and approaching the place, then withdrew at a later time.
At 23:20, the Israeli occupation forces set up a checkpoint on the bridge of Al-Khader town, to search vehicles and check the identities of citizens until 01:10.
At 15:50, the Israeli occupation forces raided the village of Kisan, and they patrolled until 16:05.
At 16:30, a group of Israeli settlers entered the citizens' agricultural lands near the southern entrance to the village of Al-Masara, and cut and uprooted about 70 olive seedlings.
At 02:35, the Israeli occupation forces raided the town of Yatta, and detained a citizen.
The detainee in the town of Yatta is: Mahmoud Abu Tabikh.
1. At 10:00, the Israeli occupation forces, present in the vicinity of Tarqumiya Crossing, opened fire towards citizens - workers, while they were trying to enter to work inside the Green Line, injuring a citizen.
2. At 15:15, the Israeli occupation forces positioned in Bab Al-Zawiya area in Hebron city, fired rubber-coated metal bullets, stun and tear gas canisters towards citizens, for alleged stoning as a result of which a number of civilians suffocated due to tear gas inhalation.
The civilian: Hashem Adnan Ghabrahim Abu Ghneim - resident of Yatta town was injured after Israeli occupation forces opened fire towards him in the vicinity of Tarqumia Crossing.
1. On the morning of 07/22/2022, a group of Israeli settlers entered the lands of the citizens of the village of Umm al-Khair, located near the “Karmiel” settlement, east of the town of Yatta, and set up several residential tents outside the colony’s fence, with the aim of settlement expansion, as the citizens tried to confront them and prevent them from complete its scheme.
2. At 17:05, a group of Israeli settlers entered the Fara’a area of Dura town, located near the “Adora” settlement, and demolished an agricultural well owned by: Nour Suleiman Hajja.
• At 02:00 on 05/21/ 2021, the comprehensive ceasefire entered into force at the initiative and sponsorship of the Arab Republic of Egypt.
• On the morning of 07/30/ 2021, the Israeli occupation forces allowed the expansion of the marine fishing area from 9 nautical miles to 12 nautical miles.
• The Israeli occupation forces violated the ceasefire agreement by firing from their positions on the Green Line towards Khan Yunis governorate.
* Beit Hanoun crossing - “Erez”: On 07/22/ 2022, it is partially open (for the passage of humanitarian cases, foreign journalists, workers of international humanitarian organizations, merchants, businessmen and travelers through the Al-Karama Crossing “Allenby” - previously coordinated for them).
* Al-Muntar-Karni crossing: closed since 02/03/2011, permanently and by a unilateral Israeli decision.
* Shejaiya Crossing - “Nahal Oz” for fuel: closed since 04. 01. 2010, by unilateral Israeli decision.
At 18:00 on 07/22/2022, the Israeli occupation forces opened fire from their positions on the Green Line, towards agricultural lands east of Khuza'a town, east of Khan Yunis.
* Yasser Arafat International Airport: closed.
* Sofa crossing: closed.
* Kerem Shalom crossing - “Kerem Shalom”: on 07/22/ 2022 is closed.
