DAILY SITUATION REPORT

• On January 26, 2023, a nationwide general strike that affected all facets of society and all governorates were called after President Mahmoud Abbas of the State of Palestine declared three days of national mourning and the lowering of flags to half-staff in memory of the nine Palestinians who lost their lives—including an elderly woman—during an Israeli attack on the city of Jenin and its camp.
At 05:50 on 01/26/2023, the occupation forces detained the citizen: Ahmed Khalil Abu Latifa, during their raid into Qalandia camp (as mentioned in the previous report).
1. At 12:00, the occupation forces fired rubber-coated metal bullets, stun grenades and tear gas canisters towards protesting citizens for alleged stoning.
2. At 12:30, the occupation forces positioned at the Shuafat checkpoint in Jerusalem fired rubber-coated metal bullets, stun grenades and tear gas canisters towards protesting citizens for alleged stoning.
3. At 13:00, the occupation forces positioned near the entrance to the town of Al-Ram fired live ammunition and rubber-coated metal bullets, stun grenades, and tear gas canisters towards demonstrating citizens for alleged stoning and as a result killed a citizen and injured another.
4. At 13:30, the occupation forces positioned near the Anata town junction fired rubber-coated metal bullets, stun and tear gas canisters towards protesting citizens for alleged stoning.
5. At 14:00, the occupation forces in the vicinity of the Qalandia military checkpoint fired rubber-coated metal bullets, stun and tear gas canisters towards protesting citizens for alleged stoning.
6. At 20:00, the occupation forces positioned in Al-Issawiya town fired rubber-coated metal bullets, stun grenades and tear gas at the protesting citizens, under the pretext that they had been thrown with stones.
7. At 20:00, the occupation forces positioned in Al-Eizariya town fired rubber-coated metal bullets, stun grenades and tear gas at the protesting citizens, under the pretext that they had been thrown with stones.
The civilian: Youssef Yahya Abdul Rakim Muhaisen, 22 years old was killed during clashes with the occupation forces near the entrance to the town of Al-Ram.

At 08:00, groups of extremist Israeli settlers, under the protection of the Israeli occupation police, stormed the courtyards of Al-Aqsa Mosque, and made provocative tours of its courtyards and facilities.

5. At 14:10, the occupation forces positioned near the eastern entrance to the village of Al-Mughair fired stun grenades and tear gas canisters towards the demonstrating citizens for alleged stoning.
6. At 19:50, the occupation forces positioned near the entrance to the village of Kafr Malik fired rubber-coated metal bullets, stun grenades and tear gas canisters towards the demonstrating citizens for alleged stoning.
7. At 23:00, the occupation forces positioned near Al-Nahda School in the town of Beitunia fired rubber-coated metal bullets, stun grenades and tear gas canisters towards the demonstrating citizens for alleged stoning.
The 7 civilians: Fadi Abu Gharbia, Ribhi Imad Ribhi Abd al-Jalil, Zaid Hisham Zaid, Muhammad Wael, Nour al-Din Abd al-Dayem, Sabil Fayyan Yusef, and Adam Khasib were injured during clashes with the occupation forces near the northern entrance to the city of Al-Bireh.
At 22:55, the occupation forces positioned near the entrance to the town of Ya'bad fired rubber-coated metal bullets, stun grenades and tear gas canisters towards demonstrating citizens for alleged stoning.
1. At 14:00, the occupation forces tightened their procedures at the Shufa checkpoint, obstructing traffic.

At 09:50, the occupation forces raided the village of Khirbet Jabara, and patrolled until 12:10.

1. The 3 civilians injured near the south of the city of Qalqilya (including): Karam Islam Kamal Odeh, and Younis Rafik Maraba.
2. The two civilians injured near the entrance to the town of Azzun are: Amid Ali Walid Hassan, and Yahya Walid Hassan.
At 21:30, a settler, while driving his vehicle on the main street passing along the north of the town of Azzun, opened fire randomly towards citizens for alleged stoning.

At 13:20, the occupation forces set up a checkpoint between the towns of Bruqin and Kafr Al-Dik, to search vehicles and verify citizens' identities.
1. At 12:55, the occupation forces raided the village of Sarta, and conducted a patrol.
2. At 13:30, the occupation forces raided the village of Marda, and conducted a patrol.

The 2 civilians {including}: Jamal Khalil Jamal Barahma, 17 years old were injured during clashes with the occupation forces near the northern entrance to the city of Jericho.
At 14:10, the occupation forces set up a checkpoint in the Aqabat Hasna area (on the main road leading to the western villages in the Bethlehem governorate), to search vehicles and verify citizens' identities until 16:00.
At 21:20, the occupation forces raided the town of Al-Khader, clashed with the citizens, while they were on patrol, and withdrew at 00:40.
1. At 11:00, the occupation forces positioned near the northern entrance to the city of Bethlehem fired live and rubber-coated metal bullets, stun grenades and tear gas canisters towards protesting citizens for alleged stoning and as a result injured a citizen.
2. At 15:40, the occupation forces fired live ammunition, rubber-coated metal bullets, stun grenades and tear gas canisters towards protesting citizens for alleged stoning.
3. At 19:40, the occupation forces positioned near the entrance to the village of Husan fired stun grenades and tear gas canisters towards demonstrating citizens for alleged stoning.
4. At 21:20, the occupation forces fired stun grenades and tear gas canisters towards citizens for alleged stoning while they w e on patrol during the raid into the town of Al-Khader.
An unidentified civilian was injured during clashes with the occupation forces near the northern entrance to the city of Bethlehem.
At 08:10, the occupation forces set up a checkpoint at the entrance to Al-Fawar camp, to search vehicles and verify citizens' identities.
1. At 11:10, the occupation forces raided the town of Bani Naim, and patrolled until 11:50.
2. At 14:00, the occupation forces raided the city of Hebron, and patrolled until 17:55.
3. At 22:10, the occupation forces raided the Bab Al-Zawiya area in Hebron, and patrolled until 03:25.

At 09:50, the occupation forces demolished a number of livestock dens for raising sheep in the Arab Al-Farihat area, near the town of Al-Ramadin,.
• At 02:00 on 05/21/ 2021, the comprehensive ceasefire entered into force at the initiative and sponsorship of the Arab Republic of Egypt.
• On the morning of 07/30/ 2021, the Israeli occupation forces allowed the expansion of the marine fishing area from 9 nautical miles to 12 nautical miles.

* Beit Hanoun crossing - “Erez”: On 01/26/ 2023, it is partially open (for the passage of humanitarian cases, foreign journalists, workers of international humanitarian organizations, merchants, businessmen and travelers through the Al-Karama Crossing “Allenby” - previously coordinated for them).
At dawn on 01/27/2023, Israeli warplanes launched a missile, targeting a site belonging to a Palestinian armed group, east of the town of Beit Hanoun.
At dawn on 01/27/2023, members of the Palestinian armed groups launched 3 projectiles towards the Green Line (one of them fell inside the Gaza Strip).

On 01/26/2023, the child: Nayef Al-Awaidat, 13 years old, a resident of Nusseirat camp, died of his serious injuries sustained as a result of airstrikes during the occupations aggression on the Gaza Strip last year.
