DAILY SITUATION REPORT
08:00 19th January 2023-08:00,20th January 2023
At 19:00, the occupation forces set up a checkpoint at the entrance to the Biddu town tunnel, and detained a citizen.
1. On the evening of 01/19/2023, the occupation forces detained 5 children (including 2 brothers): Mustafa Aqel Al-Salaimeh, Moataz Khader Al-Salaimeh, Muhammad Khalil Al-Salaimeh, Ahmed Nawaf Al-Salaimeh, and his brother, Ayham in the Ras Al-Amud neighborhood in Jerusalem.
2. The detainee at a flying checkpoint at the entrance to the Biddu town tunnel is: Obeida Nayef Abu Kaf - a resident of Jerusalem.
On 01/ 19 /2023, the occupation authorities in the Old City of Jerusalem forced the citizen: Mahran Al-Disi to demolish his 47-square-meter house, after notifying him earlier, in order to avoid paying heavy fines in the event that the occupation authorities carried out the demolition process, under the pretext of not being licensed.
At 08:00, groups of extremist Israeli settlers, under the protection of the Israeli occupation police, stormed the courtyards of Al-Aqsa Mosque, and made provocative tours of its courtyards and facilities.
1. At 08:25, the occupation forces set up a checkpoint at the entrance to the town of Turmusaya, to search vehicles and verify citizens' identities.
2. At 12:55, the occupation forces set up a checkpoint near the entrance to the village of Nabi Saleh, to search vehicles and verify citizens' identities.
3. At 17:10, the occupation forces set up a checkpoint at the entrance to the village of Ras Karkar, to search vehicles and verify citizens' identities.
At 02:10, the occupation forces raided the village of Deir Jarir, stormed and searched a house, and withdrew at 03:35.
1. At 19:05, the occupation forces raided the town of Ya`bad, clashed with the citizens, while they were on patrol, and withdrew at 20:50.
2. At 20:50, the occupation forces raided the village of Bir Al-Basha, detained a child, and withdrew at 23:55.
3. On the evening of 01/19/2023, the occupation forces raided the village of Zibda, and clashed with the citizens, while they were storming a house.
The detainee in the village of Bir al-Basha is: Moamen Raed Muhammad Saeed Abu Hantash, 17 years old.
1. At 19:05, the occupation forces fired stun grenades and tear gas canisters towards citizens for alleged stoning, while they were on patrol during the raid into the town of Ya`bad.
2. On the evening of 01/19/2023, the occupation forces fired stun grenades and tear gas towards citizens for alleged stoning as they stormed a house during their raid on the village of Zibda.
At 21:25, the occupation forces tightened their procedures at the Tayaseer checkpoint, and impeded traffic.
1. At 10:10, the occupation forces set up a checkpoint at the entrance to the village of Deir Sharaf, and detained a citizen.
2. At 13:45, the occupation forces set up a checkpoint on the main road, Nablus - Jenin, to search vehicles and verify citizens' identities.
3. At 16:10, the occupation forces set up a checkpoint in the Al-Murabaa area, near the entrance to the village of Tal, to search vehicles and verify citizens' identities.
4. At 20:05, the occupation forces set up a checkpoint between the city of Nablus and the town of Asira Al-Shamaliya, to search vehicles and verify citizens' identities.
5. At 21:30, the occupation forces set up a checkpoint at the Beita town junction, to search vehicles and verify citizens' identities.
At dawn on 01/ 20/ 2023, a group of settlers stormed the Waarjama area of the village of Jureesh, and established a new settlement outpost, where they installed 5 mobile homes (caravans) in the area.
At 16:50, the occupation forces set up a checkpoint at the western entrance to the town of Deir Istiya, to search vehicles and verify citizens' identities until 18:00.
At 13:15, a group of settlers was present on the bridge of the village of Iskaka, and threw stones at the vehicles of the citizens passing by.
At 07:30, the occupation forces raided the city of Jericho, and patrolled until 08:00.
At 18:30, the occupation forces set up a checkpoint in the Aqabat Hasna area (on the main road leading to the western villages in the Bethlehem governorate), to search vehicles and verify citizens' identities until 19:20.
At 01:05 on 01/19/2022, the occupation forces detained the citizen: Yasser Mahmoud Sabah during their raid into the village of Harmala (as mentioned in the previous report).
At 21:00, the occupation forces positioned at a military checkpoint near the "Beitar Illit" settlement, located in the Bethlehem governorate, detained the citizen: Badran Jalal Abu Ayyash - a resident of the town of Beit Ummar.
At 20:45, the occupation forces positioned near the entrance to the town of Beit Ummar fired stun grenades and tear gas canisters towards citizens for alleged stoning.
On 01/19/2023, the occupation forces confiscated 120 seedlings of forest and fruit trees in the Al-Jawiya area, east of the town of Yatta, which were prepared by the citizens for planting on the lands of the citizens threatened with confiscation.
• At 02:00 on 05/21/ 2021, the comprehensive ceasefire entered into force at the initiative and sponsorship of the Arab Republic of Egypt.
• On the morning of 07/30/ 2021, the Israeli occupation forces allowed the expansion of the marine fishing area from 9 nautical miles to 12 nautical miles.
• The occupation forces violated the ceasefire agreement by firing from their positions on the Green Line in Khan Yunis Governorate.
* Beit Hanoun crossing - “Erez”: On 01/19/ 2023, it is partially open (for the passage of humanitarian cases, foreign journalists, workers of international humanitarian organizations, merchants, businessmen and travelers through the Al-Karama Crossing “Allenby” - previously coordinated for them).
* Al-Muntar-Karni crossing: closed since 02/03/2011, permanently and by a unilateral Israeli decision.
* Shejaiya Crossing - “Nahal Oz” for fuel: closed since 04. 01. 2010, by unilateral Israeli decision.
At 11:20 on 01/19/2023, the occupation forces opened fire from their positions on the Green Line, towards agricultural lands, east of Khan Yunis.
* Yasser Arafat International Airport: closed.
* Sofa crossing: closed.
* Kerem Shalom - Kerem Shalom Crossing: On 01/19/ 2022, it is partially open (for the entry of limited quantities of fuel and fuel for the power plant, fodder, foodstuffs, and medical materials).
* Al-Awda- Rafah crossing: On 01/19/ 2022 is open in both directions (for citizens to leave and enter).
