DAILY SITUATION REPORT
08:00 17th January 2023-08:00,18th January 2023
At 12:00 and again at 15:30, the occupation forces set up a checkpoint at the entrance to the town of Al-Eizariya to search vehicles and verify citizens' identities.
1. At 23:00, the occupation forces raided the village of Qatna, and handed the citizen: Ahmed Mustafa Shamasneh, a notice to be reviewed by Israeli intelligence.
2. At 03:00, the occupation forces raided the village of Beit Duqqu, clashed with the citizens while they searched number of homes, and detained 2 citizens.
1. At 17:00, the occupation forces detained the citizen: Munir Naim Hamad - residents of Qalandia camp.
2. At 20:00, the occupation forces detained Muhammad Nidal Bashir, in the Jabal Al Mukaber neighborhood in Jerusalem.
3. On 01/ 17/2023, the occupation forces positioned in the village of Al-Issawiya detained 4 children: Muhammad Yasser Darwish, 15 years old, Ali Nader Dirbas, 14 years old, Ahmed Marouf Dari, 15 years old, and Hani Alaa Dari, 14 years old.
4. At dawn on 01/18/2023, the occupation forces detained Adnan Abu Al-Hawa in the Al-Tur neighborhood of Jerusalem.
5. The two detainees in the village of Beit Duqqu are: Qusay Muhammad Omar Murar and Issam Kamel Murar.
On 01/ 17/2023, the occupation authorities deported the Italian solidarity activist: Stefania Constantini, 50 years old, after they detained her as they stormed a number of citizens' homes in the Dheisheh camp in the city of Bethlehem.
1. At 15:25, the occupation forces positioned in the Bab Hatta area (one of the doors leading to Al-Aqsa Mosque) in the Old City of Jerusalem fired stun grenades and tear gas canisters toward citizens for alleged stoning.
2. At 21:00, the occupation forces positioned in the Jabal Al Mukaber neighborhood of Jerusalem fired stun grenades and tear gas canisters toward citizens for alleged stoning.
3. At 03:00, the occupation forces fired stun grenades and tear gas canisters towards citizens for alleged stoning as they stormed a number of citizens' homes during the raid into the village of Beit Duqqu.
At 12:00, the occupation forces demolished,a house (consisting of two floors), owned by the citizen: Omar Othman Sinokrot, in the village of Beit Safafa under the pretext of not having a permit.
At 15:30, the occupation forces demolished, a garage for auto maintenance operated by the citizen: Akram Shuqairat, in the Jabal Al Mukaber neighborhood in Jerusalem under the pretext of not having a license.
At 08:00, groups of extremist Israeli settlers, under the protection of the Israeli occupation police, stormed the courtyards of Al-Aqsa Mosque, and made provocative tours of its courtyards and facilities.
2. On 01/17/2023, the occupation forces in Jerusalem impeded the Jordanian ambassador: Ghassan Al-Majali, and tried to prevent him from entering Al-Aqsa Mosque, and required the ambassador to obtain prior permission to enter Al-Aqsa, which the ambassador refused, and he protested against this procedure, Considering that this procedure is an attempt to change the status quo in Al-Aqsa Mosque, and prejudice Jordan's position as a sponsor of Islamic and Christian endowments in the city of Jerusalem.

2. At 18:10, the occupation forces set up a checkpoint near the entrance to the village of Ras Karkar, to search vehicles and verify citizens' identities.
At 11:00, the occupation forces raided the town of Deir Dibwan, and conducted a patrol.
At 09:40, the occupation forces closed the Umm Al-Rayhan checkpoint, and reopened it at a later time.
1. At 09:40, the occupation forces raided the western village of Tura, and raided a house.
2. At 09:45, the occupation forces raided the towns of Qabatiya and Zababdeh, and conducted a patrol.
3. At 15:40, the occupation forces raided the village of Zabuba, and conducted a patrol.

At 09:50, the occupation forces confiscated a private vehicle, owned by the citizen: Abdel Latif Al-Hroub, near the village of Ibziq in the northern Jordan Valley.
At 18:20, a group of settlers stormed Khallat area located west of Khallet Makhoul, in the northern Jordan Valley, and attempted to steal a portion of the residents' property by erecting a barbed wire fence around it.
At 17:15, the occupation forces tightened their procedures at the "Einaf" checkpoint, and impeded traffic.
1. At 18:15, the occupation forces raided the village of Khirbet Jabara, and conducted a patrol.
2. At 23:40, the occupation forces raided the village of Ramin, and conducted a patrol.
1. At 18:45, the occupation forces set up a checkpoint at the entrance to the town of Azzun, to search vehicles and verify citizens' identities.
2. At 19:35, the occupation forces set up a checkpoint at the entrance to the village of Izbat al-Tabib, to search vehicles and verify citizens' identities.
1. At 09:35 and again at 23:15, the occupation forces raided the town of Azzun , and conducted a patrol.
2. At 16:45, the occupation forces raided the city of Qalqilya, and conducted a patrol.
1. At 20:50, the occupation forces tightened their measures at the Hawara checkpoint, obstructing traffic.
2. At 23:05, the occupation forces tightened their procedures at the Beit Furik checkpoint, and impeded traffic.
1. At 10:15, the occupation forces set up a checkpoint at the junction of the northern town of Asira, to search vehicles and verify citizens' identities.
2. At 10:35, the occupation forces set up a checkpoint at the entrance to the town of Aqraba, to search vehicles and verify citizens' identities.
1. At 08:55, the occupation forces raided the villages of Deir Al-Hatab, Salem, Qusin, Beit Dajan and Talfit, and conducted a patrol.

5. At 12:15, the occupation forces raided the village of Madama, and conducted a patrol.
6. At 17:10, the occupation forces raided the village of Azmut, and conducted a patrol.
7. At 20:20, the occupation forces raided the city of Nablus, to accompany a group of settlers during their visit (Joseph's Tomb), and as a result, clashes took place with the citizens and as a result injured 3 citizens (including a child and a citizen as a result of being run over by a military vehicle).
8. At 22:35,the occupation forces raided the town of Beit Furik, and conducted a patrol.
At 18:00, the occupation forces positioned near the "Alon Moreh" settlement detained the child: Muhammad Imran Khaled Awwad, 14 years old - a resident of the village of Awarta.
At 20:20, during their raid of the city of Nablus, the occupation forces fired live ammunition and rubber-coated metal bullets, stun grenades and tear gas canisters toward citizens, while they were accompanying a group of settlers during their visit (Joseph's Tomb), which resulted in the injury of 3 citizens (including a child and a citizen as a result of being run over by a military vehicle).
The 3 civilians: Muhammad Ali Abdel Qader Amer, Khaled Ibrahim Muhammad Dawas, and Muhammad Anis Salim Abu Turabi, 15 years old were injured (one of them as a result of being run over by a military vehicle) during clashes with the occupation forces during their raid into the city of Nablus.
1. At 12:15, the occupation forces set up a checkpoint at the roundabout of the town of Kafil Haris, to search vehicles and verify citizens' identities.
2. At 17:00, the occupation forces set up a checkpoint at the entrance to the town of Kafr Al-Dik, to search vehicles and verify citizens' identities.
3. At 17:30, the occupation forces set up a checkpoint at the entrance to the town of Deir Ballut, to search vehicles and verify citizens' identities.
At 18:30, the occupation forces raided the town of Deir Istiya, and stormed and searched a house.
At 15:40, a group of settlers stormed the shrine of the Prophet Musa located in southwest of Jericho.
1. At 08:20, the occupation forces set up a checkpoint at the western entrance to the town of Tuqu', to search vehicles and verify citizens' identities.
2. At 11:20, the occupation forces set up a checkpoint in the Aqabat Hasna area (on the main road leading to the western villages in the Bethlehem governorate), to search vehicles and verify citizens' identities.
3. At 17:45, the occupation forces set up a checkpoint at the northern entrance to the town of Tuqu', to search vehicles and verify citizens' identities.
At 01:25, the occupation forces raided the town of Za'tara and the village of Harmala, and conducted a patrol.
At 21:10, the occupation forces positioned near the entrance to the town of Al-Khader, fired stun grenades and tear gas canisters towards citizens for alleged stoning.
At 21:00, the occupation forces closed the (160) checkpoint in the Old City of Hebron, and reopened it at a later time.
1. At 10:55, the occupation forces set up a checkpoint at the northern entrance to the town of Halhul, to search vehicles and verify citizens' identities.
2. At 11:45, the occupation forces set up a checkpoint at the bridge of the town of Halhul, to search vehicles and verify citizens' identities.
3. At 12:10, the occupation forces set up a checkpoint at the entrance to the town of Beit Kahil, to search vehicles and verify citizens' identities.
1. At 14:05, the occupation forces raided Hebron, and raided a house.
2. At 15:10, the occupation forces raided the town of Halhul, clashed with the citizens as they stormed a house, and severely beat 2 citizens and as a result left them hospitalized with contusions.
3. At 23:30, the occupation forces raided the village of Deir Samet, and stormed and searched a house.
4. At 23:35, the occupation forces raided the town of Al-Dhahiriya, and conducted a patrol.
5. At 07:25, the occupation forces raided the town of Beit Awa, and detained 4 citizens (including a citizen and his son).
1. At 10:15, the occupation forces detained 2 citizens: Zakariya Nassar and Ibrahim Abdel Nasser Al-Dasouki. - residents of Al-Fawar camp
2. The 4 detainees in the town of Beit Awa are: Mahmoud Rizk Issa Masalmeh, Loay Samir Issa Abu Ghlis, Khader Ali Musa Masalmeh, and his son Zakaria.
1. At 11:15, the occupation forces positioned near the junction of the Nabi Yunis area (on the main road, Hebron - Bethlehem), opened fire at a member of the civilian police after stopping his vehicle, killing him and injuring 2 citizens (a citizen and his sister).
2. At 15:10, l, the occupation forces fired live ammunition and rubber-coated metal bullets, stun grenades and tear gas canisters toward citizens for alleged stoning as they stormed and searched a house, during the raid into the town of Halhu and severely beat 2 citizens, and as a result left them hospitalized with contusions.
3. At 21:00, the occupation forces positioned in the vicinity of the (160) checkpoint in the Old City of Hebron, fired stun grenades and tear gas canisters toward citizens for alleged stoning.
The Police officer: Hamdi Shaker Abdullah Abu Diyat al-Zama`ra, 40 years old, resident of the town of Halhul was killed after occupation forces opened fire towards his vehicle near the intersection of the Nabi Yunis area (on the main road of Hebron - Bethlehem).
The two civilians: Amin Taqatqa and his sister Shahd - a resident of the town of Beit Fajjar in the Bethlehem governorate were injured after occupation forces opened fire towards a vehicle near the junction of the Nabi Yunis area (on the main road of Hebron - Bethlehem)
At 15:10, the occupation forces severely beat 2 citizens: Saed Zamara and Hamouda Siam during their raid into the town of Halhul and as a result left them hospitalized with contusions.
• At 02:00 on 05/21/ 2021, the comprehensive ceasefire entered into force at the initiative and sponsorship of the Arab Republic of Egypt.
• On the morning of 07/30/ 2021, the Israeli occupation forces allowed the expansion of the marine fishing area from 9 nautical miles to 12 nautical miles.
• The occupation forces violated the ceasefire agreement by firing from their positions on the Green Line in the governorates of North Gaza and Khan Yunis.
* Beit Hanoun crossing - “Erez”: On 01/17/ 2023, it is partially open (for the passage of humanitarian cases, foreign journalists, workers of international humanitarian organizations, merchants, businessmen and travelers through the Al-Karama Crossing “Allenby” - previously coordinated for them).
At 11:30 on 01/17/2023, the occupation forces opened fire and launched tear gas canisters from their positions on the Green Line, towards a number of citizens near the border fence, northwest of the town of Beit Lahia.
* Al-Muntar-Karni crossing: closed since 02/03/2011, permanently and by a unilateral Israeli decision.
* Shejaiya Crossing - “Nahal Oz” for fuel: closed since 04. 01. 2010, by unilateral Israeli decision.
At 14:45 on 01/17/2023, the occupation forces opened fire from their positions on the Green Line, towards agricultural lands east of Abasan, east of Khan Yunis.
* Yasser Arafat International Airport: closed.
* Sofa crossing: closed.
* Kerem Shalom - Kerem Shalom Crossing: On 01/17/ 2022, it is partially open (for the entry of limited quantities of fuel and fuel for the power plant, fodder, foodstuffs, and medical materials).
* Al-Awda- Rafah crossing: On 01/17/ 2022 is open in both directions (for citizens to leave and enter).
