DAILY SITUATION REPORT
08:00, 23rd February 2023-08:00, 24th February 2023
1. At 08:20, the occupation forces positioned near the entrance to the "Ma'ale Adumim" settlement, opened fire towards a civilian under the pretext that she was attempting to carry out a stabbing operation, as a result of which she was wounded and detained.
2. At 10:40 and 16:00, the occupation forces in the village of Al-Issawiya fired stun grenades and tear gas canisters towards citizens for alleged stoning.
3. At 15:30, the occupation forces fired rubber-coated metal bullets, stun grenades and tear gas canisters towards citizens, while they were participating in the funeral of former Prime Minister: Ahmed Qurei.
4. At 15:30, the occupation forces fired rubber-coated metal bullets, stun grenades and tear gas canisters towards citizens for alleged stoning.
5. At 21:00, the occupation forces positioned in Al-Tur neighborhood and Shuafat camp in Jerusalem fired rubber-coated metal bullets, stun grenades and tear gas canisters towards citizens for alleged stoning.
The civilian: Fatima Noman Badr, 24 years old - a resident of the town of Abu Dis was injured after Occupation force opened fire towards her near the entrance to the "Ma'ale Adumim" settlement.
1. At 12:10, the occupation forces positioned in the courtyards of Al-Aqsa Mosque in the Old City of Jerusalem, detained the citizen: Ahmed Al-Salihi (one of the guards of Al-Aqsa Mosque), after he caught a Jewish woman who infiltrated Al-Aqsa Mosque at dawn.
2. The detainee (after being wounded) near the entrance to the "Ma'ale Adumim" settlement is: Fatima Noman Badr - a resident of the town of Abu Dis.
At 11:00, the occupation forces demolished the last floor of a residential building owned by the citizen: Iyad Mashhour, in the Al-Sawwana neighborhood of Jerusalem, under the pretext of not having a permit.
At 08:00, groups of extremist settlers, under the protection of the occupation police, stormed the courtyards of Al-Aqsa Mosque, and conducted provocative tours of its courtyards and facilities.
1. At 16:00, the occupation forces set up a checkpoint between the villages of Ain Yabroud and Dura Al-Qara, to search vehicles and verify citizens' identities.
2. At 20:15, the occupation forces set up a checkpoint at the roundabout of the "Halamish" settlement, to search vehicles and verify citizens' identities.
At 15:15, the occupation forces arrested the citizen: Khalil Ayman Abed - a resident of Al-Bireh.
1. At 15:30, the occupation forces positioned near the "Ofer" camp fired live ammunition,rubber-coated metal bullets, stun grenades, and tear gas canisters towards citizens for alleged stoning and as a result injured a child.
2. At 17:00, the occupation forces positioned near the entrance to the village of Nabi Saleh fired live ammunition,rubber-coated metal bullets, stun and tear gas canisters towards citizens for alleged stoning and as a result injured 2 citizens (including a child).
1. The child: Nadim Moqbel, 15 years old was injured during clashes with the occupation forces near the "Ofer" camp.
2. The two civilians: Omar Jalal Ibrahim, 16 years old - a resident of the town of Beit Rima, and Ali Abdul Latif Zuhdi Al-Tamimi - a resident of the village of Nabi Saleh were injured during clashes with the occupation forces near the entrance to the village of Nabi Saleh.
1. At 14:40, the occupation forces closed the iron gate at the entrance to the village of Nabi Saleh, and reopened it at a later time.
2. At 17:15, the occupation forces closed the iron gate established on Wadi al-Dalb road near the village of Ras Karkar, and reopened it at a later time.
3. At 22:15, the occupation forces closed the main road leading to the Jalazoun and Al-Mar camp, adjacent to the "Beit El" settlement, and reopened it at a later time.
1. At 14:15, the occupation forces raided the village of Bir Al-Basha, and conducted a patrol.
2. At 17:55, the occupation forces raided the town of Arraba and clashed with the citizens, while they were on patrol.
At 14:55, the occupation forces positioned at the Barta'a checkpoint detained the citizen: Amin Ahmed Khamaysa - a resident of the town of Al-Yamoun.
At 17:55, the occupation forces fired stun grenades and tear gas canisters toward citizens for alleged stoning during their raid into Arraba town,
On 02/ 23/2023, the occupation forces demolished commercial (barracks) and stalls for selling vegetables and fruits located near the western entrance to the village of Al-Jalama.
At 13:25, the occupation forces tightened their procedures at the Tayaseer checkpoint, and impeded traffic.
At 13:25, the occupation forces positioned at the Tayaseer checkpoint detained the citizen: Ghaleb Muhammad Abu Mohsen - a resident of the village of Tayaseer.
1. At 14:05, the occupation forces detained the citizen: Shadi Rashad Sadiq Thirteen - residents of the town of Kafr al-Labad.
2. At 18:50, the occupation forces detained the citizen: Salman Khaled Salman Hweiti - residents of the village of Kafla, while he was visiting the Israeli intelligence, based on a prior notification.
At 17:15, the occupation forces set up a checkpoint under the Azzun town bridge (on the main road, Qalqilya - Tulkarm), to search vehicles and verify citizens' identities.
1. At 13:05, the occupation forces positioned near the southern checkpoint of the city of Qalqilya, detained the citizen: Muhammad Hisham.
2. At 13:55, the occupation forces positioned near the entrance to the town of Azzun, detained the citizen: Abdullah Salim.
3. At 17:15, the occupation forces detained the citizen: Abdullah Samir Shehada Hourani - a resident of the city of Qalqilya.
1. At 13:05, the occupation forces positioned near the city of Qalqilya, fired stun grenades and tear gas canisters towards citizens for alleged stoning.
2. At 13:55, the occupation forces positioned near the entrance to the town of Azzun, fired rubber-coated metal bullets, stun grenades and tear gas canisters towards citizens for alleged stoning
3. At 01:00, the occupation forces positioned near the eastern entrance to the city of Qalqilya fired rubber-coated metal bullets, stun grenades and tear gas canisters towards citizens for alleged stoning.
1. At 10:15, the occupation forces tightened their procedures at the "Shafi Shomron" checkpoint, and impeded traffic.
2. At 22:00, the occupation forces tightened their procedures at the Beit Furik checkpoint, obstructing traffic.
At 21:10, the occupation forces set up a checkpoint at the Al-Murabaa area junction, near the village of Tal, to search vehicles and verify citizens' identities.
1. At 10:15, the occupation forces raided the city of Nablus and the villages of Tal Surra, and conducted a patrol.
2. At 18:00, the occupation forces raided the village of Qaryut, and conducted a patrol.
3. At 21:10, the occupation forces raided the town of Qusra and the village of Jureesh, and conducted a patrol.
4. At 23:20, the occupation forces raided the village of Orif, and conducted a patrol.
5. At 05:30, the occupation forces raided the villages of Deir Sharaf and Qusin, and conducted a patrol.
6. At 07:10, the occupation forces raided the villages of Tal Surra, and conducted a patrol.
1. At 22:30, a group of settlers was present on the bypass road near the "Yitshar" settlement, and threw stones at citizens' vehicles, causing material damage to the vehicle of the citizen: Subhi Masalha - residents of Hajjah village, Qalqilya governorate.
2. At 23:15, a group of settlers stormed the outskirts of Qusra town, and opened fire at the citizens, wounding 2 citizens (one of whom was a child who was seriously injured).
The 2 civilians: Ibrahim Masoud Abu Raida, 17 years old (seriously injured), and Muhammad Khaled Hassan were injured as a result of gunfire by a group of settlers in the town of Qusra.
At 22:00, the occupation forces tightened their procedures at the Za'tara Junction checkpoint, and impeded traffic.
1. At 12:20, the occupation forces raided the town of Bruqin, and conducted a patrol.
2. At 21:05, the occupation forces raided the village of Yasuf, and conducted a patrol.
1. At 21:40, the occupation forces set up a checkpoint at the northern entrance to the town of Tuqu', to search vehicles and verify citizens' identities.
2. At 21:55, the occupation forces set up a checkpoint near the Dar Salah village bridge (the northern entrance to the city of Beit Sahour), to search vehicles and verify citizens' identities.
3. At 21:55, the occupation forces set up a checkpoint in the Aqabat Hasna area (on the main road leading to the western villages in the Bethlehem governorate), to search vehicles and verify citizens' identities.
At 17:20, the occupation forces raided the vicinity of Bilal Bin Rabah Mosque (Al-Qubba), north of Bethlehem, and conducted a patrol.
1. At 20:30, the occupation forces detained the child: Moamen Omar Muhammad Issa, 17 years old - resident of Al-Khader town.
2. At 02:15, the occupation forces positioned at the "Container" checkpoint, detained the citizen: Muhammad Ismail Musa - a resident of the town of Al-Khader.
1. At 14:45 and 20:30, the occupation forces fired rubber-coated metal bullets, stun grenades and tear gas canisters towards citizens for alleged stoning.
2. At 15:30, the occupation forces positioned near the western entrance to the town of Tuqu' fired rubber-coated metal bullets, stun grenades and tear gas canisters towards citizens for alleged stoning.
3. At 15:40, the occupation forces positioned near the Aida camp fired rubber-coated metal bullets, stun grenades and tear gas canisters towards citizens for alleged stoning.
4. At 18:50, the occupation forces positioned near the entrance to the village of Husan fired rubber-coated metal bullets, stun grenades and tear gas canisters towards citizens for alleged stoning.
5. At 00:55, the occupation forces positioned in the vicinity of the Bilal bin Rabah Mosque, "Al-Qubba", north of Bethlehem, fired rubber-coated metal bullets, stun grenades and tear gas canisters towards citizens for alleged stoning.
At 13:30, the occupation forces set up a checkpoint at the entrance to Al-Fawar camp, to search vehicles and verify citizens' identities.
At 18:00, the occupation forces detained the citizen: Itimad Ahmed Mahmoud Abu Jahisha - residents of the town of Ithna.
1. At 11:30, the occupation forces positioned in Bab Al-Zawiya area in Hebron fired rubber-coated metal bullets, stun grenades and tear gas canisters towards citizens for alleged stoning.
2. At 11:35,the occupation forces positioned near the entrance to the town of Sa'ir, fired rubber-coated metal bullets, stun grenades and tear gas canisters towards citizens for alleged stoning.
3. At 14:05, the occupation forces positioned located opposite Al-Arroub camp, fired live ammunition, rubber-coated metal bullets, stun grenades and tear gas canisters towards citizens for alleged stoning and as a result killed a Palestinian Police officer as he was assisting his neighbors in the camp.
4. At 00:30, the occupation forces positioned near the Khursa village junction fired rubber-coated metal bullets, stun grenades and tear gas canisters towards citizens for alleged stoning
The Policeman - Muhammad Ismail Hassan Al-Jawabra, 25 years old - residents of Al-Arroub camp was killed during clashes with the occupation forces near the entrance to Al-Arroub camp.
At 21:35, the occupation forces closed the entrance to Al-Arroub camp, and reopened it at a later time.
• At 02:00 on 05/21/ 2021, the comprehensive ceasefire entered into force at the initiative and sponsorship of the Arab Republic of Egypt.
• On the morning of 07/30/ 2021, the Israeli occupation forces allowed the expansion of the marine fishing area from 9 nautical miles to 12 nautical miles.
* Beit Hanoun crossing - “Erez”: On 02/23/ 2023, it is partially open (for the passage of humanitarian cases, foreign journalists, workers of international humanitarian organizations, merchants, businessmen and travelers through the Al-Karama Crossing “Allenby” - previously coordinated for them).
* Al-Muntar-Karni crossing: closed since 02/03/2011, permanently and by a unilateral Israeli decision.
* Shejaiya Crossing - “Nahal Oz” for fuel: closed since 04. 01. 2010, by unilateral Israeli decision.
* Yasser Arafat International Airport: closed.
* Sofa crossing: closed.
* Kerem Shalom - Kerem Shalom Crossing: On 02/23/ 2022, it is partially open (for the entry of limited quantities of fuel and fuel for the power plant, fodder, foodstuffs, and medical materials).
* Al-Awda- Rafah crossing: On 02/23/ 2022 is open in both directions (for citizens to leave and enter).
