DAILY SITUATION REPORT February 20 2023

On 02/19/2023, the comprehensive strike took place in the towns of Al-Ram, Anata, the village of Al-Issawiya, and Shuafat camp in Jerusalem, in implementation of the first steps of civil disobedience called for by the national forces and the youth movement, condemning the policy and crimes of the occupation, boycotting the occupation in various ways, and calling on working citizens not to go to their workplaces within the Green Line.

At 10:00, the occupation forces tightened their procedures at Jaba and Hazma checkpoints, and impeded traffic.

1. At 01:00, the occupation forces raided the town of Hizma, and detained a child.
2. At dawn on 02/ 20/2023, the occupation forces raided the town of Al-Ram, and detained a citizen.

1. At 17:30, the occupation forces detained the citizen: Adham Youssef Ghaith - a resident of the Jabal Al Mukaber neighborhood in Jerusalem.
2. On the evening of 02/19/2023, the occupation forces detained Faris Sarhan in the Silwan neighborhood of Jerusalem.
3. The detainee in the town of Hizma is: Eyas Abdel Qader Sobeih, 17 years old.
4. The detainee in the town of Al-Ram is: Wissam Al-Hatawi.

1. At 10:00, the occupation forces positioned in the village of Al-Issawiya fired stun grenades and tear gas canisters toward citizens for alleged stoning.
2. At 12:00, the occupation forces positioned in Al-Eizarioya town fired rubber-coated metal bullets, stun grenades and tear gas canisters toward citizens for alleged stoning.
3. At 15:00, the occupation forces positioned in the town of Al-Ram fired stun grenades and tear gas canisters toward citizens for alleged stoning.
4. At 17:30, the occupation forces, stationed in the vicinity of the Shuafat checkpoint in Jerusalem, fired rubber-coated metal bullets, stun grenades and tear gas canisters toward citizens for alleged stoning.

At 15:00, the occupation forces demolished shops in the Jabal Al Mukaber neighborhood in Jerusalem, under the pretext of not having a license.

At 15:00, the occupation forces confiscated 650 shekels and silver jewelry in the Shuafat neighborhood of Jerusalem, from the house of the released prisoner: Abbas Al-Salhi, under the pretext that he had received prisoner allowances from the Palestinian National Authority.

2. At 05:45, the occupation forces raided the town of Ni'lin, and patrolled until 07:50.
3. At 07:05, the occupation forces raided the village of Bil'in, and detained 3 citizens.

1. The detainee in the town of Silwad is: Al-Askari - Muhammad Omar Hamed.
2. The 3 detainees in the village of Bil'in are: Wajdi Al-Khatib, Hamza Al-Khatib, and Louay Yassin.

At 18:00, the occupation forces positioned near the entrance to the village of Nabi Saleh fired rubber-coated metal bullets, stun and tear gas canisters toward citizens for alleged stoning.

At 03:30, the occupation forces raided the towns of Jaba, Wasila Al-Dhaher, and the villages of Bir Al-Basha and Al-Fandaqumiyah, and detained 2 citizens in the town of Jaba.

The two detainees in the town of Jaba are: Moaz Dirar Abu Aoun and Imad Ziyad Shaqiqat.

At 16:30, the occupation forces tightened their procedures at the Tayaseer checkpoint, and impeded traffic.

At 20:40, the occupation forces tightened their procedures at the "Einaf" checkpoint, and obstructed traffic until 20:55.

1. At 17:15, the occupation forces set up a checkpoint at the entrance to the village of Al-Hafasi, to search vehicles and verify citizens' identities.
2. At 18:45, the occupation forces set up a checkpoint on the Kafriat Road (which connects the governorates of Tulkarm and Qalqilya), to search vehicles and verify citizens' identities.

1. At 14:45, the occupation forces raided the village of Khirbet Jabara, and conducted a patrol.
2. At 15:00, the occupation forces raided the town of Qafin, and conducted a patrol.
3. At 19:30, the occupation forces raided the village of Far'oun, and conducted a patrol.
4. At 03:40, the occupation forces raided the city of Tulkarm and the camps of Tulkarem and Nur Shams in the city and the village of Izbat Al-Tayah, and detained a citizen in the village of Izbat Al-Tayah.

1. At 19:00, the occupation forces set up a checkpoint at the entrance to the village of Baqa al-Hatab, to search vehicles and verify citizens' identities.
2. At 21:10, the occupation forces set up a checkpoint at the entrance to the village of Kafr Qaddum, to search vehicles and verify citizens' identities.

At 18:00, the occupation forces raided the village of Al-Nabi Elias, stormed and searched a building, and detained a citizen.

At 09:30, the occupation forces tightened their procedures at the Beit Furik checkpoint, and impeded traffic.

1. At 09:35 and again at 21:50, the occupation forces set up a checkpoint in the Al-Murabaa area near the entrance to the village of Tal to search vehicles and verify citizens' identities.
2. At 20:30, the occupation forces set up a checkpoint near the Deir Sharaf village junction (on the main road, Nablus - Tulkarm), and detained a citizen.

1. At 11:05, the occupation forces raided the northern town of Asira, and conducted a patrol.
2. At 11:25, the occupying forces raided the village of Al-Bathan, and conducted a patrol.
3. At 12:45, the occupation forces raided the village of Burqa, and conducted a patrol.
4. At 13:20, the occupation forces raided the village of Kafr Qalil, and conducted a patrol.
5. At 15:15, the occupation forces raided the village of Salem, and conducted a patrol.
6. At 16:00, the occupying forces raided the villages of Tal Surra, and conducted a patrol.
7. At 17:10, the occupation forces raided the villages of Deir Sharaf and Qusin, and conducted a patrol.
8. At 17:10 and again at 00:55, the occupation forces raided the city of Nablus, and conducted a patrol , clashed with the citizens as they stormed the homes of two detainees and took their measurements in preparation for their demolition, and as a result injured one citizen, and left 20 citizens suffocated due to inhalation of tear gas, and withdrew at 06:20.
9. At 18:00, the occupation forces raided the village of Salem, and conducted a patrol.

The detainee at a flying checkpoint near the junction of the village of Deir Sharaf (on the main road, Nablus - Tulkarm), citizen: Ahmed Essam Ahmed Ateiwi - a resident of the city of Tulkarm.

At 00:55, during the storming of the city of Nablus, the occupation forces fired live ammunition, rubber-coated metal bullets, stun grenades, and tear gas at the citizens, for alleged shooting and stoning while they were taking the measurements of the houses of two detainees in preparation for their demolition, and as a result injured a citizen, and left 20 civilians suffocated due to tear gas inhalation.

The civilian: Moein Zakaria Abu Lawi was injured during clashes with the occupation forces in the city of Nablus.

At 09:45, the occupation forces set up a checkpoint at the northern entrance to the city of Salfit, to search vehicles and verify citizens' identities.

At 17:40, the occupation forces tightened their procedures at the (Container) checkpoint, and impeded traffic.

At 19:50, the occupation forces set up a checkpoint at the northern entrance to the town of Tuqu', to search vehicles and verify citizens' identities.

At 02:25, the occupation forces raided the town of Al-Khader, clashed with the citizens, and detained 2 citizens (including a child), and they also handed the citizen: Karim Muhammad Da'ud, a notice to review the Israeli intelligence, and withdrew at 04:10.

The two detainees in the town of Al-Khader are: Mahmoud Ismail Salah, and Abdul Rahman Khaled Khalil, 16 years old.

1. At 18:55, the occupation forces set up a checkpoint at the Zif village junction, to search vehicles and verify citizens' identities until 20:20.
2. At 21:10, the occupation forces set up a checkpoint at Al-Sahib Junction in the Old City of Hebron, to search vehicles and verify citizens' identities.

1. At 01:00, the occupation forces raided the town of Al-Dhahiriya and detained a citizen.
2. At 01:00, the occupation forces raided Hebron, and conducted a patrol.
3. At 01:00, the occupation forces raided the towns of Ithna and Yatta, and conducted a patrol.
4. At 05:00, the occupation forces raided the town of Beit Awa, and detained 3 citizens.

1. The detainee in the town of Al-Dhahiriya is: Khaled Nader Al-Battat.
2. The 3 detainees in the town of Beit Awa are: Ahmed Ibrahim Abdullah Al-Masalmeh, Saif Dhiab Al-Masalmeh, and Bilal Mahmoud Issa Al-Sweiti.

1. At 14:30, the occupation forces positioned in the Bab Al-Zawiya area in Hebron fired stun grenades and tear gas canisters toward citizens for alleged stoning.
2. On the evening of 02/19/2023, the occupation forces positioned near the entrance to the town of Beit Ummar fired stun grenades and tear gas canisters toward demonstrators for alleged stoning.

At 09:40, a group of settlers in the Al-Sahla area in the Old City of Hebron attacked Al-Sunniyya Mosque, smashed its windows and vandalized its outer yard.
