DAILY SITUATION REPORT
08:00, 16th February 2023-08:00, 17th February 2023
At dawn on 02/ 17/2023, the occupation forces raided the town of Anata, and detained a citizen.
1. At 14:30, the occupation forces detained Ahmed Iyad Al-Rifai, in the town of Beit Hanina.
2. At dawn on 02/17/2023, the occupation forces detained Mutasim Maswada in the Silwan neighborhood of Jerusalem.
3. The detainee in the town of Anata is: Muhammad Issa Muhammad Alian.
1. At 14:00, the occupation forces confiscated a sum of money, private property, and gold jewelry from the house of the prisoner's family, Obeida Al-Taweel, in the Ras Al-Amud neighborhood in Jerusalem, on the pretext that he had received the prisoners' allowances from the Palestinian National Authority.
2. At 14:30, the occupation forces confiscated 108,000 shekels in the Old City of Jerusalem from the house of the prisoner: Muhammad Hassan Ferawi, his father's bank account, under the pretext that he received the prisoners' allowances from the Palestinian National Authority.
3. On 02/ 16/ 2023, the occupation forces confiscated an amount of money, private property, and gold jewelry from the house of the prisoner's family: Ahmed Manasra, on the pretext that he had received the prisoners' allowances from the Palestinian National Authority.
4. On 02/16/2023, the occupation forces confiscated the money of a number of prisoners and their families from their bank accounts in the city of Jerusalem, under the pretext that they had received prisoner allowances from the Palestinian National Authority (known among them): the liberated prisoner - Iman Al-Awar and her son Muhammad (the amount of 120,000) shekels The mother of the released prisoner - Suhaib Al-Awar and her son Suhaib (an amount of 113,000) shekels, except for closing their bank accounts.
At 08:00, groups of extremist settlers, under the protection of the occupation police, stormed the courtyards of Al-Aqsa Mosque, and conducted provocative tours of its courtyards and facilities.
At 17:00, the occupation forces set up a checkpoint on Wadi El-Dalb Road, near the village of Ras Karkar, to search vehicles and verify citizens' identities.
At 13:45, the occupation forces raided the town of Beit Rima, clashed with the citizens, and as a result injured 3 citizens (including 2 children), and also detained a citizen.
1. At 04:35 on 02/ 16/ 2023, the occupation forces detained the citizen: Muhammad Burhan Saud Abu Mohsen during their raid into the city of Ramallah (in addition to what was mentioned in the previous report).
2. The detainee in the town of Beit Rima is: Bashir Zaghoul Al-Khatib.
1. At 11:30, the occupation forces positioned in the vicinity of the entrance to the "Psagot" settlement, located on the eastern outskirts of Al-Bireh, fired stun grenades and tear gas canisters towards citizens for alleged stoning.
2. At 13:45, the occupation forces fired rubber-coated metal bullets, stun grenades and tear gas canisters towards citizens for alleged stoning as they stormed a house during the raid into the town of Beit Rima which resulted in the injury of 3 citizens (including 2 children).
The 3 civilians (including a child): Hussein Hassan Kanaan, 16 years old, Saif Munir Al-Deek, and Abdullah Aref Al-Hajj, 13 years old were injured during clashes with the occupation forces in the town of Beit Rima.
At 14:10, the occupation forces closed the iron gate at the entrance to the village of Ras Karkar, under the pretext that settler vehicles had been stoned, and reopened it at 16:00.
At 10:05, the occupation forces set up a checkpoint at the southern entrance to the town of Silat al-Dhahr (on the main road, Jenin - Nablus), to search vehicles and verify citizens' identities.
At dawn on 02/ 17/ 2023, the occupation forces raided the village of Sanur, and conducted a patrol.
At 14:55, the occupation forces tightened their procedures at the Tayaseer checkpoint, and impeded traffic.
At 12:30, a group of settlers built a sheep farm, in an attempt to establish a new settlement outpost on the eastern side of the Ain al-Hilweh area in the northern Jordan Valley.
At 10:20, the occupation forces raided the city of Tulkarem and the Nur Shams camp in the city clashed with the citizens, during a raid on a house and as a result injured a citizen, and detained a citizen, and withdrew at 14:00.
1. At 12:40, the occupation forces positioned at the "Einaf" checkpoint, detained the citizen: Abdullah Khaled Abu Khalil - a resident of the town of Atil.
2. The detainee in the city of Tulkarem is: Firas Sabri Al-Jaber.
At 10:20, the occupation forces fired live ammunition, rubber-coated metal bullets, stun grenades and tear gas canisters towards citizens for alleged stoning and as a result a citizen.
The civilian: Osama Omar Abu Saada was injured during confrontations with the occupation forces in the city of Tulkarm and the Nur Shams camp in the city.
At 12:15, the occupation forces set up a checkpoint at the entrance to Wadi Qana Road, to search vehicles and verify citizens' identities.
At 11:40, the occupation forces tightened their measures at the Huwwara checkpoint, obstructing traffic until 12:30.
1. At 15:45, the occupation forces positioned at Hawara checkpoint, detained citizen: Amjad Damidi - residents of Tal village.
2. On 02/16/2023, the occupation forces positioned at the Hawara checkpoint detained 3 citizens: Qusai Muhammad Tawalbeh, Khalil Jamal Tawalbeh, and Mahdi Adnan Tawalbeh - residents of Jenin camp.
At 11:15, the occupation forces positioned near the entrance to the village of Burqa fired stun grenades and tear gas canisters towards citizens for alleged stoning.
At 16:35, the occupation forces positioned at the Za'tara junction checkpoint, detained the citizen: Qais Ibrahim Masoud Abu Madi - residents of Al-Fara'a camp, Tubas governorate.
At 12:00, the occupation forces in the town of Al-Auja forced the owners of shops established on both sides of the main street in the center of the town (for the fourth day in a row).
1. At 11:10, 3 armed settlers stormed the Al-Maarajat area, west of Jericho, grazing their sheep, close to the Arab Al-Malehat community.
2. At 11:25, a group of settlers stormed Al-Maarajat Road (which connects the governorates of Jericho and Ramallah), and threw stones at the vehicles of the citizens passing by.
1. At 12:15, the occupation forces raided the city of Bethlehem, detained a citizen and handed the citizen: Yasser Suman, a notice to be reviewed by the Israeli intelligence.
2. At 12:55, the occupation forces raided the town of Janata, and detained 3 citizens (including a child).
1. The detainee in the city of Bethlehem is: Mustafa Abd Ibrahim Jubran.
2. The 3 detainees in the town of Janata are: Mahmoud Ahmed Abu Srour, 17 years old, Ahmed Ali Abu Srour, and Ali Ahmed Abu Srour.
At 09:35, the occupation forces demolished a barracks and a sheep farm owned by the citizen: Hassan Odeh, in the village of Walaja, under the pretext of not having a license.
1. At 08:45, the occupation forces set up a checkpoint at the entrance to Al-Fawar camp, to search vehicles and verify citizens' identities until 12:30.
2. At 09:00, the occupation forces set up a checkpoint at the entrance to the town of Al-Dhahiriya, to search vehicles and verify citizens' identities until 12:30.
3. At 15:55, the occupation forces set up a checkpoint near the Beit Einoun School, north of Hebron, to search vehicles and verify citizens' identities until 17:35.
At dawn on 02/ 17 /2023, the occupation forces raided the town of Beit Ummar, and detained 2 citizens.
1. At 13:55, the occupation forces positioned at a military checkpoint, detained the citizen: Abdul Hamid Al-Qaisi - a resident of the town of Dura.
2. The two detainees in the town of Beit Ummar are: Karim Abdul Rahman Abdul Majeed Arar and Mutasem Jamal Mahmoud Alqam.
At 17:05, the occupation forces positioned at the nearest entrance to the town of Beit Ummar fired stun and tear gas canisters toward citizens participating in the funeral of a citizen for alleged stoning and as a result left a number of citizens suffocated due to inhaling tear gas.
• At 02:00 on 05/21/ 2021, the comprehensive ceasefire entered into force at the initiative and sponsorship of the Arab Republic of Egypt.
• On the morning of 07/30/ 2021, the Israeli occupation forces allowed the expansion of the marine fishing area from 9 nautical miles to 12 nautical miles.
* Beit Hanoun crossing - “Erez”: On 02/16/ 2023, it is partially open (for the passage of humanitarian cases, foreign journalists, workers of international humanitarian organizations, merchants, businessmen and travelers through the Al-Karama Crossing “Allenby” - previously coordinated for them).
* Al-Muntar-Karni crossing: closed since 02/03/2011, permanently and by a unilateral Israeli decision.
* Shejaiya Crossing - “Nahal Oz” for fuel: closed since 04. 01. 2010, by unilateral Israeli decision.
* Yasser Arafat International Airport: closed.
* Sofa crossing: closed.
* Kerem Shalom - Kerem Shalom Crossing: On 02/16/ 2022, it is partially open (for the entry of limited quantities of fuel and fuel for the power plant, fodder, foodstuffs, and medical materials).
* Al-Awda- Rafah crossing: On 02/16/ 2022 is open in both directions (for citizens to leave and enter).
