DAILY SITUATION REPORT
08:00 5th February 2023-08:00, 6th February 2023
1. At 17:20, the occupation forces detained Hamza Raed Al-Maghribi in the village of Sur Baher.
2. At 19:00, the occupation forces detained Adam Abu Hamed in the village of Sur Baher.
3. At 19:20, the occupation forces arrested at Al-Za'im checkpoint, the citizen: Amir Basem Al-Qaisi.
4. On the evening of 02/05/2023, the occupation forces detained Daoud Al-Bitar in the Old City of Jerusalem.
At 08:00, groups of extremist settlers, under the protection of the occupation police, stormed the courtyards of Al-Aqsa Mosque, and conducted provocative tours of its courtyards and facilities.
1. At 08:20, the occupation forces set up a checkpoint at the entrance to the village of Nabi Saleh, to search vehicles and verify citizens' identities until 15:00.
2. At 09:45, the occupation forces set up a checkpoint near the "Beit El" settlement, to search vehicles and verify citizens' identities.
3. At 20:30, the occupying forces set up a checkpoint at the Al-Taybeh town junction (on the Al-Maarajat road connecting the Ramallah and Jericho governorates), to search vehicles and verify citizens' identities.
1. At 15:15 and again at 06:40, the occupation forces raided the town of Beit Rima, and detained 2 citizen - including a child.
2. At 20:30, the occupying forces raided Al-Bireh, and conducted a patrol.
3. At 02:55, the occupation forces raided the town of Silwad and the village of Kafr Malik, detained 2 citizens, and withdrew at 04:25.
1. The two detainees in the town of Beit Rima are: Bilal Samer Al-Barghouti, and Ahmed Mahmoud Abdel-Raouf Al-Rimawi, 17 years old.
2. The two detainees in the town of Silwad and the village of Kafr Malik are: Ibrahim Majdi Muhammad Awwad - residents of the town of Silwad, and Lutfi Sabri Aref Tarshan - residents of the village of Kafr Malik.
At 12:25, the occupation forces positioned near the entrance to the village of Kharbatha al-Misbah fired stun grenades and tear gas canisters towards citizens for alleged stoning.
At 08:15, a group of settlers entered the agricultural lands of the citizens in the plain of the town of Turmusaya, cut down the branches of a number of trees, and withdrew at 15:00.
At 04:00, the occupation forces raided the village of Deir Abu Da'if, and detained a citizen.
The detainee in the village of Deir Abu Daeef is: Qassam Mahmoud Mahameed.
At 21:05, a group of settlers stormed the ruins of the evacuated "Homesh" settlement, attacked a house on the outskirts of the town of Silat Al-Dhahr, adjacent to the ruins of the settlement, owned by the citizen: Abdel Aziz Nayef Al-Qadi, and withdrew at 22:00.
At 18:30, the occupation forces closed their procedures at the "Einaf" checkpoint, in front of traffic, and reopened it at 18:55.
At 20:55, the occupying forces raided the town of Zeita, raided a house, checked the surveillance camera recordings of the house, and withdrew at 21:45.
At 20:05, a group of settlers, located near the Ramin village junction, intercepted and attacked passing citizens' vehicles, and withdrew at 22:55.
1. At 17:30, the occupation forces set up a checkpoint at the entrance to the village of Izbat al-Tabib, to search vehicles and verify citizens' identities until 20:00.
2. At 17:30, the occupation forces set up a checkpoint at the entrance to the town of Azzun, to search vehicles and verify citizens' identities until 21:00.
At 12:05, the occupation forces raided the village of Hajjah, and conducted a patrol.
At 16:00, the occupation forces positioned along the apartheid wall, south of Qalqilya fired stun grenades and tear gas canisters towards citizens for alleged stoning..
At 09:55, the occupation forces set up a checkpoint at the Al-Murabaa area junction, near the entrance to the village of Tal, to search vehicles and verify citizens' identities.
At 02:30, the occupation forces raided the city of Nablus and the Balata and Askar camps in the city, clashed with the citizens as they stormed a number of homes, and detained 2 citizens (including a woman) in the Balata and Askar camps, and withdrew at 05:35.
The two detainees in the Balata and Askar camps in Nablus are: the citizen - Rajaa Ali Karsou - a resident of the Balata camp, and Amjad Fattouh - a resident of the Askar camp.
At 02:30, the occupation forces fired rubber-coated metal bullets, stun grenades and tear gas canisters towards citizens for alleged stoning as they stormed a number of houses during their raid into the city of Nablus and the Balata and Askar camps in the city.
At 22:45, a group of settlers was on the main road between the villages of Bazariya and Barqa, and threw stones at vehicles passing by on the main road, Nablus - Jenin, and withdrew at 23:20.
On 02/05/2023, the occupation forces set up a checkpoint at the northern entrance to the town of Bruqin, to search vehicles and verify citizens' identities.
1. At 11:50, the occupation forces raided the village of Marda, to accompany the Israeli Water Authority, to test the water of an artesian well, and withdrew at 13:25.
2. At 11:50, the occupying forces raided the town of Deir Ballut, and delivered notices to demolish houses, barracks, a commercial warehouse and an agricultural room, under the pretext of not having a license, and withdrew at 13:15.
On 02/02/2023, the occupation forces issued a military order to confiscate 45 dunums in the Jabal Al-Dhib area, north of the town of Deir Istiya, owned by the citizen: Mustafa Mansour, for settlement projects.
At 11:50, the occupation forces carried out excavation and bulldozing work in the citizens' lands planted with olive trees in the western side of the village of Marda, to implement a project to extend a water line that runs along the main street passing along the village.
On 02/ 05/2023, a group of settlers from the "Havat Yair" settlement outpost planted citrus trees on an area of about 40 dunums near the Al-Majur Spring, west of the town of Deir Istiya, owned by the citizen: Ahmed Ismail Abu Hijleh, in an attempt to seize it.
1. On 02/05/2023, the occupation forces set up military checkpoints at all entrances to the city of Jericho, to search vehicles and verify citizens' identities.
2. At 13:10, the occupation forces set up a checkpoint near the junction of the "Ma'ale Ephraim" settlement, to search vehicles and verify citizens' identities.
At 00:30, the occupation forces raided the city of Ariha and the Aqabat Jabr camp in the city, clashed with the citizens, as they stormed a number of homes, and as a result killed 5 citizens, injured 6 other citizens (one of them seriously), and left 3 others citizens suffocated due to tear gas inhalation, and detained 8 citizens.
The 8 detainees in Aqabat Jabr camp in the city of Jericho are: Abdul Hafez Fakhr Awadat, Fakhr Abdul Hafez Awadat, Muhammad Fakhr Awadat, Muhammad Riyad Awadat, Abdul Hafez Wael Awadat, Shaker Amara, Yahab Muhammad Juma Hamidat, and his brother Ahmed.
At 00:30, the occupation forces fired live ammunition, rubber-coated metal bullets, stun grenades, and tear gas towards citizens for alleged stoning as they stormed raiding and searched a number of homes during the raid of Aqabat Jabr camp in the city of Jericho and as a result killed 5 citizens, injured 6 other citizens (one of them seriously), and left 3 others citizens suffocated due to tear gas inhalation
The 5 civilians Raafat Wael Awadat, 21 years old, Ibrahim Wael Awadat, 27 years old, Malik Awni Lafi, 22 years old, Adham Majdi Awadat, 22 years old, and Thaer Awadat, 28 years old were killed during clashes with the occupation forces in Aqabat Jabr camp.
6 unidentified civilians were injured during clashes with the occupation forces in Aqabat Jabr camp.
At 14:40, the occupation forces set up a checkpoint in the Aqbat Hasna area (on the main road leading to the western villages in the Bethlehem governorate), to search vehicles and verify citizens' identities.
1. At 12:30, the occupation forces raided the village of Al-Rashaida, detained a citizen, and withdrew at 13:25.
2. At 17:25, the occupation forces raided the city of Bethlehem, and conducted patrols until 23:10.
3. At 23:25, the occupation forces raided the town of Beit Fajjar, and conducted a patrol until 01:25.
4. At 01:30, the occupation forces raided the town of Tuqu', detained a citizen, and withdrew at 02:20.
5. At 04:30, the occupation forces raided the village of Al-Asakrah, and detained a citizen.
1. At 18:10, the occupation forces detained the citizen: Sanad Amjad Nassar Taqatqa - a resident of the town of Beit Fajjar, while he was visiting the Israeli intelligence, based on a prior notification.
2. The detainee in the village of Al-Rashaida is: Ali Khalaf Suleiman Rashaida.
3. The detainee in the town of Tuqu' is: Mustafa Jamal Hussein Al-Badan.
4. The detainee in the village of Asakreh is: Ahmed Nasser Kamel Asakreh.
1. At 20:15, the occupation forces raided Al-Arroub camp, clashed with the citizens, while they were on patrol, and withdrew at 21:25.
2. At 01:50, the occupation forces raided the town of Al-Dhahiriya, and detained 8 citizens (including a soldier from the General Intelligence Service).
The 8 detainees in the town of Al-Dhahiriya are: Al-Askari - Ahmed Izzat Waridat, Nour Ibrahim Al-Battat, Ghaleb Ismail Al-Battat, Youssef Ibrahim Al-Battat, Muhammad Hamad Al-Hawareen, Ishaq Jamal Al-Hawareen, Tariq Subhi Al-Hawareen, and Muhammad Ziyad Al-Battat.
At 20:15, the occupation forces fired stun grenades and tear gas canisters towards citizens for alleged stoning during the raid into Al-Arroub camp.
At 11:15, the occupation forces closed the iron gate at the entrance to the town of Sa'ir, and reopened it at 12:45.
At 21:30, the occupation forces issued a military order to confiscate 733 dunums of citizens' lands located along Street 60 and affiliated to the town of Beit Ummar, for the benefit of settlement projects.
• At 02:00 on 05/21/ 2021, the comprehensive ceasefire entered into force at the initiative and sponsorship of the Arab Republic of Egypt.
• On the morning of 07/30/ 2021, the Israeli occupation forces allowed the expansion of the marine fishing area from 9 nautical miles to 12 nautical miles.
• The occupation forces violated the cease-fire agreement as the gunboats opened fire at the fishermen's boats at sea in the northern Gaza governorate.
* Beit Hanoun crossing - “Erez”: On 02/05/ 2023, it is partially open (for the passage of humanitarian cases, foreign journalists, workers of international humanitarian organizations, merchants, businessmen and travelers through the Al-Karama Crossing “Allenby” - previously coordinated for them).
At 17:50 on 02/05/2023, the Israeli gunboats opened fire towards the fishermen's boats while they were chasing them at sea off the shore of the Al-Sudaniyya area, west of the town of Beit Lahiya.
* Al-Muntar-Karni crossing: closed since 02/03/2011, permanently and by a unilateral Israeli decision.
* Shejaiya Crossing - “Nahal Oz” for fuel: closed since 04. 01. 2010, by unilateral Israeli decision.
* Yasser Arafat International Airport: closed.
* Sofa crossing: closed.
* Kerem Shalom - Kerem Shalom Crossing: On 02/05/ 2022, it is partially open (for the entry of limited quantities of fuel and fuel for the power plant, fodder, foodstuffs, and medical materials).
* Al-Awda- Rafah crossing: On 02/05/ 2022 is open in both directions (for citizens to leave and enter).
