DAILY SITUATION REPORT August 29 2022

1. At 12:30, the Israeli occupation forces detained the child: Awad Obaid, 15 years old, in the village of Al-Nabi Samuel.
2. At 14:00, the Israeli occupation forces positioned in the city of Jerusalem detained the citizen: Saad Jabr Darraj - a resident of the village of Kharbatha Bani Harith in Ramallah governorate.
3. At 22:20, the Israeli occupation forces positioned at the Al-Jib checkpoint detained 2 citizens: Majdi Obeid and Ahmed Alyan - (both of them are residents of Al-Jib village).
4. On 08/28/ 2022, the Israeli occupation forces positioned in the Old City of Jerusalem, the citizen: Mahdi Munib Abu Asab.
5. On 08/28/ 2022, the Israeli occupation forces detained 2 citizens (brothers) in the village of Al-Isawiya, namely: Qais Marwan Mustafa, and his brother Marwan.
6. On 08/28/ 2022,the Israeli occupation forces positioned in the city of Jerusalem detained the citizen: Tawfiq Nader Omar - a resident of the town of Doha in the Bethlehem governorate.

At 22:00, the Israeli occupation authorities in the city of Jerusalem lit the Umayyad palaces area along the southern side of Al-Aqsa Mosque, and announced its opening as a tourist attraction.

At 11:45 and again at 21:55, the Israeli occupation forces tightened their procedures at the “Mahkamah” checkpoint, which is located near the settlement of “Beit El” north of the city of Al-Bireh and obstructed traffic until 00:15.

At 23:35, the Israeli occupation forces raided the town of Silwad (on the pretext that a military tower near the town was shot at by unknown persons), stormed and searched 3 houses, confiscated their surveillance camera recordings, and withdrew at 07:00.

The detainee in the town of Qabatiya is: Alaa Omar Zakarna.

At 06:40, the Israeli occupation forces fired live ammunition, rubber-coated metal bullets, stun and tear gas canisters towards citizens for alleged stoning during their raid into Qabatiya town and as a result injured 11 civilians (including one seriously ).
