DAILY SITUATION REPORT
08:00, 26th August 2022 -08:00, 27th August 2022
At 24:00, the Israeli occupation forces positioned in the village of Al-Nabi Samuel detained 5 citizens: Saed Talal Salem Barakat, Laith Eid Muhammad Barakat, Eid Muhammad Eid Barakat, Diaa Ribhi Adib Barakat, and Mahmoud Muhammad Youssef Barakat.
1. At 16:20, the Israeli occupation forces positioned in the Shuafat camp in Jerusalem fired stun and tear gas canisters towards citizens for alleged stoning.
2. At 17:50, the Israeli occupation forces positioned near the northern junction of the town of Al-Ram fired stun and tear gas canisters towards citizens for alleged stoning.
1. At 11:15, the Israeli occupation forces set up a checkpoint at the entrance to Deir Abu Mishaal village, to search vehicles and check the identities of the citizens.
2. At 15:50, the Israeli occupation forces set up a checkpoint at the entrance to the town of Turmusaya, to search vehicles and check the identities of the citizens.
3. At 19:25, the Israeli occupation forces set up a checkpoint at the western entrance to Silwad town, to search vehicles and check citizens' identities.
4. At 19:55, the Israeli occupation forces set up a checkpoint at the entrance to the village of Al-Mughayer, and detained 4 civilians.
1. At 22:40,the Israeli occupation forces raided the village of Deir Bzei' and conducted a patrol.
2. At 23:55,the Israeli occupation forces raided the village of Ein Yabroud and conducted a patrol.
3. At 02:50, the Israeli occupation forces raided the towns of Al-Mazraa Al-Sharqiah and Silwad, clashed with the citizens as they stormed and searched a house in Silwad town.
The 4 detainees at a flying checkpoint at the entrance to the village of Al-Mughir are: Muhammad Hamid, Ghassan Hamed, Mustafa Dar Salah, and Khaled Afif - (all are residents of Silwad town).
1. At 17:00,the Israeli occupation forces positioned near the entrance to Deir Bzei village fired rubber-coated metal bullets, stun and tear gas canisters towards citizens for alleged stoning.
2. At 02:25,the Israeli occupation forces fired live ammunition, rubber-coated metal bullets, stun and tear gas canisters towards citizens for alleged stoning as they stormed a house during their raid into Silwad town.
1. At 12:40, the Israeli occupation forces raided the town of Ya'bad and conducted a patrol.
2. At 15:40,the Israeli occupation forces raided the town of Araba, and carried out the patrol.
At 22:25, the Israeli occupation forces closed the main road, Nablus - Jenin, to traffic (on the pretext that unknown assailants opened fire towards the Israeli occupation forces located in the vicinity of "Shavi Shomron" checkpoint).
At 18:05,the Israeli occupation forces raided the town of Tammun and conducted a patrol.
At 02:00, the Israeli occupation forces raided the city of Tulkarm and the camps of Tulkarm and Nour Shams in the city and the village of Far'oun, and conducted a patrol.
At 13:15, the Israeli occupation forces positioned in the Abu Luqa area, located between the towns of Kafr El-Lidd and Beit Lid fired rubber-coated metal bullets, stun and tear gas canisters towards citizens participating in a demonstration against settlers’ attacks and land confiscation for settlement projects and as a result left several civilians suffocated from tear gas inhaltion.
1. At 14:15 and again at 18:55, the Israeli occupation forces set up a checkpoint at the entrance to the town of Azzoun to search vehicles and check the identities of citizens.
2. At 14:30, the Israeli occupation forces set up a checkpoint at the entrance to the village of Ezbet Al-Tabib, to search vehicles and check the identities of the citizens.
3. At 19:10, the Israeli occupation forces set up a checkpoint at the eastern entrance to the town of Jayyous, to search vehicles and check the identities of citizens.
4. At 00:15, the Israeli occupation forces set up a checkpoint at the eastern entrance to the city of Qalqilya, to search vehicles and check the identities of citizens.
At 00:50, the Israeli occupation forces raided the village of Kafr Qaddoum and conducted a patrol.
At 13:45, the Israeli occupation forces positioned near the (closed) eastern entrance in the village of Kafr Qaddoum, fired rubber-coated metal bullets, stun and tear gas canisters towards protesting citizens against the closure of the entrance to the village for alleged stoning and as a result injured 6 civilians (including a journalist) and left a number of citizens suffered from suffocation due to inhalation of tear gas.
The 6 civilians injured including a journalist - Anal Al-Jada during confrontations with the Israeli occupation forces near the (closed) eastern entrance in the village of Kafr Qaddoum.
At 01:35,the Israeli occupation forces raided the village of Deir Sharaf clashed with the citizens as they stormed a number of shops and confiscated their surveillance camera recordings.
1. At 13:40, the Israeli occupation forces fired rubber-coated metal bullets, stun and tear gas canisters towards citizens participating in a demonstration against settlers’ attacks and land confiscation for settlement projects in the village of Beit Dajan and as a result left 18 civilians suffocated due to tear gas inhalation.
2. At 13:40, the occupation forces positioned in the vicinity of Jabal Sabih area in the town of Beita, fired rubber-coated metal bullets, stun and tear gas canisters towards citizens participating in a demonstration against settlers’ attacks and land confiscation for settlement projects, and as a result left a number of citizens suffocated due to tear gas inhalation.
3. At 01:35, the Israeli occupation forces fired stun and tear gas canisters towards citizens for alleged stoning during their raid into Deir Sharaf village and as a result left 10 civilians suffocated due to tear gas inhalation.
At 11:30, a group of Israeli settlers in the area of Khirbet Yanoun, east of the "Itamar" settlement, reclaimed a piece of land in an attempt to seize it.
At 13:55, the Israeli occupation forces positioned at Za'tara Junction checkpoint detained the citizen: Zuhdi Deeb Zuhdi Qawariq - a resident of Awarta village.
At 08:20, a group of Israeli settlers stormed the village mosque in the village of Iskaka , photographed it, and withdrew at a later time.
At 16:20, the Israeli occupation forces set up a checkpoint near the junction of the Nashash area (the southern entrance to the city of Bethlehem), to search vehicles and check the identities of citizens.
At 17:15, the Israeli occupation forces raided the Aida camp in Bethlehem and conducted a patrol.
On the evening of 08/26/ 2022, the Israeli occupation forces positioned near the entrance to the town of Beit Ummar fired live ammunition, rubber-coated metal bullets, stun, and tear gas canisters towards citizens for alleged stoning and as a result injured two civilians.
2 unidentified civilians were injured during confrontations with the Israeli occupation forces near the entrance to the town of Beit Ummar.
On 08/26/ 2022, a group of armed Israeli settlers under the protection of the Israeli occupation forces, stormed the area of Oyoun Al-Maa and the agricultural ponds in the Kanar area in the town of Dura, and tampered with the citizens’ crops and properties, owned by the family of: Al-Sharif.
• At 02:00 on 05/21/ 2021, the comprehensive ceasefire entered into force at the initiative and sponsorship of the Arab Republic of Egypt.
• On the morning of 07/30/ 2021, the Israeli occupation forces allowed the expansion of the marine fishing area from 9 nautical miles to 12 nautical miles.
• The Israeli occupation forces violated the ceasefire agreement by firing from their positions on the Green Line towards Central Gaza and Khan Yunis governorates, and by gunboats firing at fishermen's boats at sea in the northern Gaza and Rafah governorates..
* Beit Hanoun crossing - “Erez”: On 08/26/ 2022, it is partially open (for the passage of humanitarian cases, foreign journalists, workers of international humanitarian organizations, merchants, businessmen and travelers through the Al-Karama Crossing “Allenby” - previously coordinated for them).
At 23:15 on 08/26/2022, Israeli gunboats fired at the fishermen's boats, while chasing them in the open sea off the coast of Al-Sudaniya area, west of the town of Beit Lahia.
* Al-Muntar-Karni crossing: closed since 02/03/2011, permanently and by a unilateral Israeli decision.
* Shejaiya Crossing - “Nahal Oz” for fuel: closed since 04. 01. 2010, by unilateral Israeli decision.
At 15:40 on 08/26/ 2022, the Israeli occupation forces opened fire and launched tear gas canisters from their positions on the Green Line, towards a number of citizens near the border fence east of Deir al-Balah.
1. At 09:30 on 08/26/2022, the Israeli occupation forces fired from their positions on the Green Line, towards agricultural lands east of Khuza’a town, east of Khan Yunis.
2. At 15:50 on 08/26/2022, the Israeli occupation forces fired from their positions on the Green Line, towards agricultural lands east of Al-Fukhari town, southeast of Khan Yunis.
* Yasser Arafat International Airport: closed.
* Sofa crossing: closed.
* Kerem Shalom - Kerem Shalom Crossing: On 08/26/ 2022 is closed.
* Al-Awda- Rafah crossing: On 08/26/ 2022 is closed.
