WEST BANK

JERUSALEM

Detention

1. At 13:00, the Israeli occupation forces positioned in the Old City of Jerusalem detained 2 citizens: Muhammad Al-Ateeq and Mahmoud Al-Fakhouri.
2. At 14:00, the occupation forces detained the citizen: Abdullah Al-Jolani, in the Old City of Jerusalem.
3. At 22:00, the occupation forces positioned in the Old City of Jerusalem detained the citizen: Samer Al-Safadi.

Attack

1. At 19:30, the Israeli occupation forces positioned near the entrance to the town of Al-Ram fired stun and tear gas canisters towards citizens for alleged stoning.
2. On the evening of 08/21/ 2022, the Israeli occupation forces positioned in Silwan neighborhood in Jerusalem fired stun and tear gas canisters towards citizens for alleged stoning.

House Demolition

On 08/21/ 2022,The Israeli occupation authorities in the village of Sur Baher forced the citizen: Ahmed Alyan to personally demolish his house, after notifying him earlier, in order to avoid paying heavy fines in the event that the Israeli occupation authorities carried out the demolition, on the pretext of not having a permit.

Obstruction of Places of Worship

At 08:00, groups of extremist Israeli settlers, under the protection of the Israeli occupation police, stormed the courtyards of Al-Aqsa Mosque, and made provocative tours of its courtyards and facilities.

RAMALLAH & AL BIREH

Flying Checkpoints

1. At 08:00, the Israeli occupation forces set up a checkpoint at the eastern entrance to Silwad town, to search vehicles and check citizens' identities.
2. At 08:10, the Israeli occupation forces set up a checkpoint at the entrance to Al Mazraa Al Sharqiah town, to search vehicles and check the identities of the citizens.
3. At 11:30, the Israeli occupation forces set up a checkpoint at the entrance to the village of Ein Yabroud, to search vehicles and check the identities of the citizens.
4. At 11:35, the Israeli occupation forces set up a checkpoint at the eastern entrance to the town of Taybeh, to search vehicles and check the identities of citizens.

Raid

At 01:30, the Israeli occupation forces raided the village of Burqa, detained 4 citizens, and withdrew at 03:00.

Detention

The 4 detainees in the village of Barqa are: Haitham Ahmed Barakat, Muhammad Zaki Numan Barakat, Islam Abdul Karim Taha Maatan, and Abdul Jabbar Muhammad Nawabit.

Closure of main Roads

On the afternoon of 08/21/ 2022, the Israeli occupation forces closed the western entrance to the town of Silwad (on the road linking the town of Silwad and the village of Yabroud), with earth mounds.

JENIN

Raid

At noon on 08/21/ 2022, the Israeli occupation forces raided the town of Yabed, and seized the CCTV recordings of the house of the citizen: Muhammad Abu Bakr.

Detention

At 03:40 on 08/21/ 2022, the Israeli occupation forces detained 2 citizens: Basil Khaled Al-Sharqawi and Uday Fawzi Al-Sharqawi during the storming of the town of Zababdeh (as mentioned in the previous report).

TULKAREM

Raid

At 04:15, the Israeli occupation forces raided Tulkarm camp in Tulkarm city, clashed with citizens as they stormed a house, and detained a citizen, then withdrew at 06:25.

Detention

The detainee in Tulkarm camp in Tulkarm is: Bilal Abdel Aziz Saleh Nayfeh.

Attack

At 04:15, the Israeli occupation forces fired stun and tear gas canisters towards citizens for alleged stoning as they stormed a house during their raid into Tulkarm camp.

QALQILIYA

Flying Checkpoints

At 20:40, the Israeli occupation forces set up a checkpoint at the entrance to the village of Ezbet Al-Tabib, to search vehicles and check the identities of the citizens.

Raid

At 22:10 and again at 04:20, the Israeli occupation forces raided the town of Azzun, clashed with the citizens, detained a citizen, and withdrew at 05:50.

Detention

The detainee in the town of Azzun is: Walid Saeed Salama.

Attack

At 22:15, the Israeli occupation forces fired rubber-coated metal bullets, stun and tear gas canisters towards citizens for alleged stoning while on patrol during their raid into Azzoun town.

Settlers Attacks

At 17:50, a group of Israeli settlers was near the junction of Jit village, and opened fire towards citizens' vehicles, smashing the rear window of the vehicle of the citizen: Suhaib Shteiwi - a resident of Kafr Qaddoum village.

NABLUS

Flying Checkpoints

At 15:40, the Israeli occupation forces set up a checkpoint near the junction of the "Shafi Shomron" settlement, to search vehicles and check the identities of the citizens.

Raid

At 01:35, the Israeli occupation forces raided the city of Nablus and the village of Zawata, detained 2 citizens (including a woman), and withdrew at 05:40.

Detention

1. At 21:20, the Israeli occupation forces positioned at the entrance to the town of Beita detained the citizen: Uday Muhannad Khudair - a resident of the town of Beita.
2. The two detainees in the city of Nablus and the village of Zawata are: Falasteen Farid Abdel Latif Najm - a resident of the city of Nablus, and Zaher Musa - a resident of the village of Zawata.

SALFIT

Military Checkpoints

At 18:45, the Israeli occupation forces tightened their procedures at the Za'tara Junction checkpoint, and obstructed traffic.

Detention

At 17:35, the Israeli occupation forces positioned at Za'tara Junction detained the citizen: Sami Hanani - the head of the Beit Furik municipality in the Nablus governorate.

BETHLEHEM

Raid

1. At 02:50, the Israeli occupation forces raided the village of Al-Asakrah, and detained 3 civilians.
2. At 03:45, the Israeli occupation forces raided the town of Al-Khader, and detained 8 citizens (including 4 children with their parents).

Detention

1. The 3 detainees in the village of Asakreh are: Shadi Ali Asakreh, Mahmoud Salem Mahmoud Sabah, and Issa Mustafa Issa Al-Arouj.
2. The 8 detainees in the town of Al-Khader are: Ashraf Mustafa Salah, his son Mustafa-17 years old, Ibrahim Mahmoud Salah, his son Mahdi-17 years old, Jaafar Yaqoub Dadu', his son Ibrahim-16 years old, Atta Sobeih, and his son Abdullah-17 years old

HEBRON

Flying Checkpoints

At 23:15, the Israeli occupation forces set up a checkpoint on Wadi Sa'ir road, to search vehicles and check the identities of citizens.

Raid

At dawn on 08/21/ 2022, the Israeli occupation forces raided the town of Taffouh, and detained a citizen.

Detention

The detainee in the town of Taffouh is: Fadi Hassan Abu Eisha.

GAZA STRIP

ALL DISTRICTS

• At 02:00 on 05/21/ 2021, the comprehensive ceasefire entered into force at the initiative and sponsorship of the Arab Republic of Egypt.
• On the morning of 07/30/ 2021, the Israeli occupation forces allowed the expansion of the marine fishing area from 9 nautical miles to 12 nautical miles.

NORTHERN GAZA

Closure of Crossing Points

* Beit Hanoun crossing - “Erez”: On 08/21/ 2022, it is partially open (for the passage of humanitarian cases, foreign journalists, workers of international humanitarian organizations, merchants, businessmen and travelers through the Al-Karama Crossing “Allenby” - previously coordinated for them).

GAZA

Closure of Crossing Points

* Al-Muntar-Karni crossing: closed since 02/03/2011, permanently and by a unilateral Israeli decision.
* Shejaiya Crossing - “Nahal Oz” for fuel: closed since 04. 01. 2010, by unilateral Israeli decision.

RAFAH

Closure of Crossing Points

* Yasser Arafat International Airport: closed.
* Sofa crossing: closed.
* Kerem Shalom - Kerem Shalom Crossing: On 08/21/ 2022, it is partially open (for the entry of limited quantities of fuel and fuel for the power plant, fodder, foodstuffs, and medical materials).
* Al-Awda- Rafah crossing: on 08/21/2022 is open in both directions (for citizens to leave and enter).
