WEST BANK

JERUSALEM

Flying Checkpoints

On the evening of September 2nd 2016, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the entrance of Al-Issawiya village and opened fire towards a civilian vehicle for allegedly not stopping at the checkpoint.

Raid

1.At 14:15, Israeli forces raided Al-Eizariya and Abu Dis towns.
2. At 17:50, Israeli forces raided Al-Ram town until 20:15.
3. At 19:40, Israeli forces raided Al-Eizariya town, clashed with several residents then withdrew at 20:00.
4. At 02:40, Israeli forces raided Biddu town until 05:45.

Detention

At 23:50, Israeli forces detained Jamal Al-Za'tari in Jabal Al-Tur neighborhood in Jerusalem city.

Attack

1. At 19:40, Israeli forces fired stun and tear gas gernades towards several residents for alleged stoning during their raid into Al-Eizariya town.
2. On the evening of September 2nd 2016, Israeli forces positioned at a checkpoint near the entrance of Al-Issawiya village opened fire towards a civilian vehicle for allegedly not stopping at the checkpoint.

Closure of main Roads

At 24:00,Israeli forces closed the main road leading to Silwan neighborhood in Jerusalem city with cement blocks.

Demonstrations

At 13:00, a demonstration took place after Friday prayers in Qalandiya village protesting against the demolition of 11 homes in the village.

Confiscation of Property

On the evening of September 2nd 2016, Israeli forces confiscated 2 vehicles owned by Jawad Siyam and Hussien Al-Zir as they stormed Silwan neighborhood.

RAMALLAH & AL BIREH

Raid

1. At 03:00, Israeli forces raided Kafr Malik village and stormed a home.
2. At dawn on September 3rd 2016, Israeli forces raided Silwad town then stormed and searched several homes.

Demonstrations

1. At 13:20, a demonstration took place in Bil’in Ni’lin village protesting against the construction of the wall during which they clashed with Israeli forces and as a result suffocated several residents from tear gas inhalation.

1. At 13:20, Israeli forces fired stun and tear gas grenades towards several demonstrators

2. On the evening of September 2nd 2016, Israeli forces fired stun and tear gas grenades towards several residents for alleged stoning near the entrance of Al-Jalazoun camp.
3. On the evening of September 2nd 2016, Israeli forces fired stun and tear gas grenades towards several residents for alleged stoning near the entrance Silwad town.

Closure of main Roads

At 19:15, Israeli forces closed the main road near "Bet El" settlement which leads to Al-Jalazoun camp then reopened it at a later time.

JENIN

Flying Checkpoints

At 22:40, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint near Arabba town and detained a resident.

Detention

Israeli forces positioned at Arraba town junction detained Izz Abdel-Kareem Abu Na'ssa {A resident of Jenin city}.

TUBAS

Military Checkpoints

At 17:20, Israeli forces intensified their restrictions at Tayssir checkpoint and impeded the free flow of traffic.

Detention

1. At 10:50, Israeli forces positioned Tayssir checkpoint detained Bakr Ghareeb Bani Odeh.
2. At 14:20, Israeli forces detained Zakariya Musa Hamad Aliyan {A resident of Al-Far'a village} as he was reporting to Israeli Intelligence for questioning based on a prior summon.

Confiscation of Property

On the evening of September 2nd 2016, Israeli forces confiscated a tractor owned by Adel Awwad during their raid into a Bedouin community in Khirbeit Um Al-Jamal located in the North Jordan valley.

TULKAREM

Flying Checkpoints

At 09:10, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint near Al-Ras village then searched residents and vehicles until 10:30.

QALQILIYA

Flying Checkpoints

1. At 11:30, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at Jit village junction then searched residents and vehicles until 12:30.
2. At 14;20, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the entrance of Azzun town then searched residents and vehicles.
3. At 19:30, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the entrance of Hajja village junction then searched residents and vehicles.

Demonstrations

At 13:30, a demonstration took place in Kafr Qaddum against the closure of the east entrance during which they clashed with Israeli forces tried to disrupt the demonstration by firing live ammunition, rubber coated steel bullets, stun and tear gas grenades towards demonstrators who attempted to reach they demonstration site and as a result injured 5 residents and left several others suffocated from tear gas inhalation.

Attack

At 13:30, Israeli forces fired rubber coated steel bullets, stun and tear gas grenades towards demonstrators during demonstrations in Kafr Qaddum against the closure of the east entrance and as a result injured 5 residents and left several others suffocated from tear gas inhalation.

Injuries

The resident injured in Kafr Qaddum is Shafiq Ishtayeh {A resident of Salem village in Nablus district}.

NABLUS

Flying Checkpoints

1. At 11:50, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the entrance of Beita town then searched residents and vehicles until 13:00.
2. At 13:45, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the entrance of Qusra village and detained a resident.
3. At 22:00, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at Deir Sharaf village junction then searched residents and vehicles until 23:00.

Raid

1. At 17:55, Israeli forces raided Kafr Qalil village until 18:05.
2. At 02:35, Israeli forces raided Assira Al-Shamaliya town and summoned the child: Abdel-Kareem Khalid Jameel Al-Akliek (16 years old) to report to Israeli Intelligence for questioning.

Detention

Israeli forces positioned at the entrance of Qusra village detained Tariq Subhi Kan'an {A resident of Qusra village}.

Injuries

At dawn on September 2nd 2016, Mohammad Yusef Nassar Hashash was hospitalized with contusions after being rammed by a Israeli Military Jeep as they raided Balata camp as mentioned in the previous report.

SALFIT

Flying Checkpoints

At 18:00, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the entrance of Al-Zawiya town then searched residents and vehicles.

JERICHO

Flying Checkpoints

At 19:15 and again at 07:15, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the south entrance of Jericho city then searched residents and vehicles until 07:40.

BETHLEHEM

Raid

At 03:45, Israeli forces raided Beit Fajjar town, summoned 2 residents : Mohammad Ali Dariya and Alaa Mohammad Taqatqa to report to Israeli intelligence for questioning then withdrew at 03:05.

Attack

1. At 14:00, Israeli forces fired stun and tear gas grenades towards several residents for alleged stoning at the west entrance of Teqou' town.
2. At 14:00, Israeli forces positioned at Ayda camp fired stun and tear gas grenades towards several residents for alleged stoning.

Closure of main Roads

At 09:40, Israeli forces closed the bypass road leading to Khirbeit Shuhalah area located in Al-Khader town.

HEBRON

Flying Checkpoints

1. At 14:10, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at Khursa village junction then searched residents and vehicles.
2. At 18:50, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at Al-Samou' town junction then searched residents and vehicles.

Physical Assault

At 08:50, Israeli forces positioned in Jaber neighborhood in the old city of Hebron assaulted Anas Aref Jaber and as a result left him hospitalized with contusions.

GAZA STRIP

ALL DISTRICTS

• Since 19:00 on August 26th 2014, Palestinian Gunmen and the Israeli military agreed to a cease fire agreement (brokered by the Arab Republic of Egypt) which includes the opening of border crossings to allow the entry of emergency supplies and humanitarian goods as well as construction material and agreed to increase the fishing limit to 6 nautical miles with possibility of increase to 12 nautical miles by the end of the year and to decrease the Military area to 100 meters, allow freedom of movement and a halt to targeted killings and assassinations and negotiations will be held for discussion on rebuilding the sea port and airports in the coming month.

• The Israeli Military broke the ceasefire agreement by opening fire from their positions behind the Green
Line towards Gaza and Central Gaza.

NORTHERN GAZA

Closure of Crossing Points

* Beit Hanun (Erez) is open for the passage of critical patients, journalists, NGO staff, businesspersons and passengers travelling abroad through Al-Karama crossing with previous coordination.

Closure of Crossing Points

* Al-Muntar (Karni) Crossing is closed. Beginning on 02 March 2011, the Crossing has been effectively closed following a unilateral Israeli decision.
* Al-Shija’iya (Nahal ‘Oz) Crossing is closed. Beginning on 04 January 2010, the Crossing has closed following a unilateral Israeli decision.

Attack

At 15:30 on September 2nd 2016, Israeli forces positioned behind the Green line opened fire towards several residents located in the vicinity Al-Shija’iya (Nahal ‘Oz) Crossing located in east Al-Shija’iya neighborhood in east Gaza city as they were participating in demonstrations protesting the Israeli Military and settler attack on Al-Aqsa mosque compound in the old city of Jerusalem.

CENTRAL GAZA

Attack

At 15:00 on September 2nd 2016, Israeli forces positioned behind the Green line opened fire towards several residents located in the vicinity of eat Al-Buriej camp as they were participating in demonstrations protesting the Israeli Military and settler attack on Al-Aqsa mosque compound in the old city of Jerusalem.

RAFAH
