WEST BANK

JERUSALEM

Flying Checkpoints

At 23:40, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint in Jabal Al-Mukabir neighborhood in Jerusalem city then searched residents and vehicles.

Raid

1. At 10:15, Israeli forces raided Al-Eizariya and Abu Dis towns.
2. At 22:50, Israeli forces raided Hizma town then clashed with several residents.

Detention

1. At 21:25, Israeli forces positioned at Qalandiya checkpoint detained Sandi Hassan Najeeb Mash'hour (21 years old) {A resident of Al-Eizariya town} for allegedly possessing a knife.
2.On September 1st 2016, Israeli forces detained Yassin Subieh in Jerusalem city.

Attack

1. At 14:30, Israeli forces positioned near Al-Ram town junction fired stun and tear gas grenades towards several residents for alleged stoning.
2. At 22:50, Israeli forces fired live ammunition, stun and tear gas grenades towards several residents for alleged stoning during their raid into Hizma town.

Obstruction of Places of Worship

At 09:00, Israeli settlers under the protection of Israeli Military and Police forces stormed Al-Aqsa mosque compound in the old city of Jerusalem and provoked worshipers.

RAMALLAH & AL BIREH

Flying Checkpoints

1. At 08:00, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the entrance of Ni'lin town then searched residents and vehicles.
2. At 08:20, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at Al-Taybeh town junction located along the main road connecting Ramallah & Al-Bireh District with Jericho District} then searched residents and vehicles until 09:55.
3. At 10:15, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at Rantis village junction then searched residents and vehicles.
4. At 18:55, Israeli forces set up 3 checkpoints at the entrance of Deir Nathim village then searched residents and vehicles.

Raid

At 14:10, Israeli forces raided Rantis village until 15:30.

Attack

At 21:20, Israeli forces positioned near Atarah bridge opened fire towards a vehicle as it passed near the area.

JENIN

Flying Checkpoints

At 00:40, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the entrance of Zubaba village then searched residents and vehicles.

Raid

At 00:45, Israeli forces raided Zubaba village , detained 2 residents then withdrew at 01:15.

Detention

Israeli forces detained 2 residents: Tamer Iz Al-Din Fihmi Sha'ban and Omar Abdel-Fattah Abdel-Rahman Talib in Zubaba village.

TULKAREM

Military Checkpoints

At 10:35, Israeli forces intensified their restrictions at "Enav" checkpoint and impeded the free flow of traffic until 11:30.

Raid

At 05:40, Israeli forces raided Tulkarem city.

QALQILIYA

Flying Checkpoints

At 19:50, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the entrance of Kafr Qaddum village then searched residents and vehicles until 21:00.

NABLUS

Raid

1. At 00:35, Israeli forces raided Beit Furiq town, clashed with several residents then withdrew at 01:55.
2.At dawn on September 2nd 2016, Israeli forces raided Balata camp in Nablus city and detained 2 residents after storming and searching their homes.

Detention

Israeli forces detained 2 residents: Atta Amer Attallah Issa and Nihad Owies in Balata camp in Nablus city.

Attack

At 00:35, Israeli forces fired stun and tear gas grenades towards several residents for alleged stoning during their raid into Beit Furiq town.

Confiscation of Property

1. At 00:20 on September 1st 2016, Israeli forces confiscated surveillance camera footage from a supermarket owned by Mohammad Ragheb Al-Terawi during their raid into Nablus city {As mentioned in the previous report}.
2. At 19:40, Israeli forces confiscated a Bulldozer owned by Raslan Mohammad Hanini {A resident of Beit Farouq town} as he was leveling a plot of land in Beit Dajjan village in Area C {which is under Israeli Military and Administrative control}.

Destruction of Property

At 00:20 on September 1st 2016, Israeli forces set fire to a vegetable and Fruit shop owned by Kamal Nimer Al-Terawi during their raid into Nablus city {As mentioned in the previous report}.

SALFIT

Flying Checkpoints

At 00:25, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the entrance of Qarwat Bani Hassan then searched residents and vehicles.

JERICHO

Detention

At 22:40, Israeli forces positioned at Allenby bridge detained Khalid Hassan Yammin {A resident of Jit village in Qalqilya District} as he was returning from Jordan.

BETHLEHEM

Flying Checkpoints

At 18:30, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at Al-Nashash area junction {located at the south entrance of Bethlehem city} then searched residents and vehicles until 20:30.

Raid

1.At dawn on September 1 st 2016, Israeli forces raided Beit Jallah town, stormed and searched Ayoub Jabers home and confiscated a cellular telephone owned by Mu'tasim Ayoub Ismail Jaber
2. At 15:20, Israeli forces raided Ayda camp in Bethlehem city and clashed with several residents.
3. At 01:45, Israeli forces raided Za'tara town and summoned Tariq Mahmoud Al-Sahuri to report to Israeli Intelligence for questioning then withdrew at 02:30.

Attack

1. At 15:20, Israeli forces fired stun and tear gas grenades towards several residents for alleged stoning during their raid into Ayda camp in Bethlehem
2. At 20:40, Israeli forces positioned in the vicinity of Billal Bin Rabah mosque in Bethlehem city fired stun and tear gas grenades towards several residents for alleged stoning.

Confiscation of Property

At dawn on September 1st 2016, Israeli forces confiscated a cellular telephone owned by Mu'tasim Ayoub Ismail Jaber after storming and searching his home during their raid into Beit Jallah town.

HEBRON

Flying Checkpoints

1. At 08:20, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint near Ithna town then searched residents and vehicles.
2. At 09:10, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the entrance of Al-Fuwar camp then searched residents and vehicles.

Raid

At 01:00, Israeli forces raided Hebron city then stormed and searched a home.

Obstruction of Places of Worship

Since 22:00 on August 31st 2016, Israeli forces closed Al-Ibrahimi Mosque compound located in the old city of Hebron and prevented residents from worshiping in the mosque to allow a group of Israeli settlers perform Talmudic rituals. {The closure will continue until 22:00 on September 1st 2016}.

GAZA STRIP

ALL DISTRICTS

•Since 19:00 on August 26th 2014, Palestinian Gunmen and the Israeli military agreed to a cease fire agreement (brokered by the Arab Republic of Egypt) which includes the opening of border crossings to allow the entry of emergency supplies and humanitarian goods as well as construction material and agreed to increase the fishing limit to 6 nautical miles with possibility of increase to 12 nautical miles by the end of the year and to decrease the Military area to 100 meters, allow freedom of movement and a halt to targeted killings and assassinations and negotiations will be held for discussion on rebuilding the sea port and airports in the coming month.
• The Israeli Military broke the ceasefire agreement by opening fire towards Central Gaza and Khan Younis districts.

NORTHERN GAZA

Closure of Crossing Points

*Beit Hanun (Erez) is open for the passage of critical patients, journalists, NGO staff, businesspersons and passengers travelling abroad through Al-Karama crossing with previous coordination and also entry of 103 vehicles , a bus and 7 trucks.

Detention

On August 31st 2016, Israeli forces positioned at Beit Hanun (Erez) crossing detained Bashir Yunis Mustafa {A resident of Gaza city} as he was travelling to the West Bank.

GAZA

Closure of Crossing Points

* Al-Muntar (Karni) Crossing is closed. Beginning on 02 March 2011, the Crossing has been effectively closed following a unilateral Israeli decision.
* Al-Shija’iya (Nahal ‘Oz) Crossing is closed. Beginning on 04 January 2010, the Crossing has closed following a unilateral Israeli decision.

CENTRAL GAZA

Attack

At 07:45 on September 1st 2016, Israeli forces positioned behind the Green Line opened fire towards agricultural land in Al-Buriej camp.

KHAN YUNIS

Attack

At 08:30 on September 1st 2016, Israeli forces positioned behind the Green Line opened fire towards agricultural land in Al-Qarara town.

RAFAH

Closure of Crossing Points

* Yasser ‘Arafat International Airport remains closed.
* Rafah (Al ‘Awdah) Crossing is open for the entry and exit of Medical patients, students, 767 Pilgrims travelling to Perform Hajj in Mecca Saudi Arabia and the entry of 41 truck loads of construction material {36 carrying Cement and 8 Carrying Gravel}..
* Sufa Crossing is closed.
* Karm Abu Salem (Karem Shalom) Crossing is open for the entry Humanitarian assistance.
