JERUSALEM

Flying Checkpoints

1. At 12:40, Israeli forces set up 3 checkpoints at Al-Sawahra village as they raided it then searched residents and vehicles.
2. At 23:30, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the entrance of Jabal Al-Mukabir neighborhood then searched residents and vehicles.

Raid

1. At 12:40, Israeli forces raided Al-Sawahra village, set up 3 checkpoints then stormed and searched a home.
2. At 16:15, Israeli forces raided Al-Eizariya and Abu Dis towns.
3. At 17:45, Israeli forces raided Al-Issawiya village then clashed with several residents.
4. At 23:25, Israeli forces raided Al-Ram town, clashed with several residents, detained a resident then withdrew at 00:25.
5. At 01:20, Israeli forces raided Biddu town until 04:35.

Detention

1.At dawn on September 1sy 2016, Israeli forces detained Abed Iz Al-Din Barar after storming his home in Silwan neighborhood.
2. Israeli forces detained Suliman Abu Shalbak in Al-Ram town.

Attack

1. At 17:45, Israeli forces fired stun grenades towards several residents for alleged stoning for alleged stoning during their raid into Al-Issawiya.
2. At 23:25, Israeli forces raided Al-Ram town fired rubber coated steel bullets, stun and tear gas grenades towards several residents for alleged stoning.

Destruction of Property

At 10:15, Israeli forces demolished 2 Dens owned by Fahed Za'atra {A resident of Al-Sawahra village} as they stormed Wadi Al-Jir area in Abu Dis town.

Obstruction of Places of Worship

At 08:30, Israeli settlers under the protection of Israeli Military and Police forces stormed Al-Aqsa mosque compound in the old city of Jerusalem and provoked worshipers.

Settlement Activities

On August 31st 2016, Israeli Authorities approved plans for the construction of 4 settlement units in :Har Gilo" settlement located in south Jerusalem city and 20 settlement units in "Givat Ze'ev" settlement located in North West Jerusalem city on land occupied in 1967.

RAMALLAH & AL BIREH

Flying Checkpoints

At 20:50, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the entrance of Um Safa village then searched residents and vehicles until 22:00.

Raid

1. At 22:30, Israeli forces raided Deir Abu Mash'al village and clashed with several residents.
2. At 07:30, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint in Bir Ziet town, stormed and searched a home and clashed with several University students near the Universities east entrance.

Attack

1. At 22:30, Israeli forces opened fire towards several residents for alleged stoning during their arid into Deir Abu Mash'al village.
2. At 07:30, Israeli forces fired stun and tear gas grenades towards several University students near the Universities east entrance for alleged stoning during their raid into Bir Ziet town.

Settlement Activities

On August 31st 2016, Israeli Authorities approved tenders for the construction of 178 settlement units in "Ofarim" settlement located in south Al-Labban Al-Gharbiya village and approved tender for the construction of 31 settlement units in " Beit Arye" settlement located in east Al-Labban Al-Sharqiya village located in Ramallah and Al-Bireh district on land occupied in 1967.

JENIN

Raid

1. At 01:00, Israeli forces raided Deir Abu Da'if village, stormed and searched a home then withdrew at 03:55.
2. At dawn on September 1st 2016, Israeli forces raided Bruqin town and detained a resident after storming and searching his home.
3. At dawn on September 1st 2016, Israeli forces raided Jenin camp and detained a resident.

Detention

1. Israeli forces detained Mabrouk Jarrar in Bruqin town.
2. Israeli forces detained Wissam Mohamad Abu Zied in Jenin camp.

TULKAREM

Raid

1. At 19:15, Israeli forces raided Izbit Shufa village.
2. At 02:00, Israeli forces raided Shwikiya neighborhood in Tulkarem city, stormed and searched a vehicle repair shop, detained a resident then withdrew at 05:50.

Detention

1. At 19:30, Israeli forces positioned at Wall Gate (623) located in Deir Al-Ghusoun town detained Mohammad Abdel-Fatah Mustafa Daoud {A resident of Al-Jaroushiya village}.
2. Israeli forces detained Jaber Mohammad Fathi Abdel-Kareem Mahdawi during their raid into Shwikiya neighborhood in Tulkarem city.

QALQILIYA

Flying Checkpoints

At 15:40, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the entrance of Qalqilya city then searched residents and vehicles.

Raid

1. At 00:10, Israeli forces raided Qalqilya city, stormed and searched a home , detained a resident then withdrew at 03:20.
2. At 01:20, Israeli forces raided Assala village then stormed and searched a home.

Detention

Israeli forces detained Mohammad Ali Masarwa in Qalqilya city.

NABLUS

Military Checkpoints

At 21:25, Israeli forces closed Huwara checkpoint and impeded the free flow of traffic until reopening it at a later time.

Flying Checkpoints

1. At 16:00, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint along Madma village bridge then searched residents and vehicles until 17:10.
2. At 20:25, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the entrance of Beita town then searched residents and vehicles.
3. At 20:55, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint near "Yitshar" settlement junction located in North Huwwara town, temporarily detained Hassan Sa'ed Hashash {A resident of Balata camp} and released him at a later time then withdrew at 22:20.

Raid

1.On August 31st 2016, Israeli forces raided Salem village, stormed and searched a home then detained a resident.
2. At 11:20, Israeli forces raided Assira Al-Shamaliya town, clashed with several residents then withdrew at 14:00.
3. At 00:20, Israeli forces raided Nablus city as they escorted a group of Israeli settlers who stormed Josephs Tomb during which the clashed with several residents as Israeli forces stormed and searched several merchant shops, detained a resident then withdrew at 06:15.

Detention

1. Israeli forces detained Mus'ab Akef Ishtayeh in Salem village.
2. Israeli forces detained Ahmad Hussien Arasheh {A resident of Askar camp in Nablus city}.

Temporary Detention

At 20:55, Israeli forces positioned at a flying checkpoint located near "Yitshar" settlement located in North Huwara town temporarily detained Hassan Sa'ed Hashash {A resident of Balata camp in Nablus city}.

1. At 11:20, Israeli forces fired stun and tear gas gernades towards several residents for alleged stoning during their raid into Assira Al-Shimaliya.

SALFIT

Flying Checkpoints

At 16:00, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the entrance of Kafr Al-Dik town then searched residents and vehicles until 12:35.

At 20:25, Israeli forces raided Harris village until 22:10.

Temporary Detention

At 20:00, Israeli forces positioned near the entrance of "Arail" settlement temporarily detained Yazen Mahmoud Abdel-Fattah Muslih {A resident of Sarta village} then released him at a later time.

Settlement Activities

On August 31st 2016, Israeli authorities approved tenders for the construction of 234 settlement units in "Elkana" settlement located in the north area of Al-Zawiya town in Salfit District on land occupied in 1967.

JERICHO

Raid

At 22:05, Israeli forces raided Al-Zabadiyat village, stormed and searched 3 homes then withdrew at 23:30.

Confiscation of Property

At 15:25, Israeli forces confiscated 3 Caravans owned by a Bedouin resident along Al-Mu'rajat road in west Jericho District.

BETHLEHEM

Flying Checkpoints

At 09:00, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint near Dar Salah village bridge { located at the east entrance of Beit Sahour town} then searched residents and vehicles until 11:00.

Raid

At 03:45, Israeli forces raided Al-Duhisheh camp in Bethlehem city and clashed with several residents then detained a resident.

Detention

Israeli force detained Naban Amer Daoud during their raid into Al-Duhisheh camp in Bethlehem city.

Attack

1. At 16:15, Israeli forces fired rubber coated steel bullets, stun and tear gas grenades towards several residents for alleged stoning during their raid into Ayda camp in Bethlehem city.
2. At 03:45, Israeli forces rubber coated steel bullets, stun and tear gas grenades towards several residents for alleged stoning during their raid into Al-Duhisheh camp in Bethlehem city.

HEBRON

Flying Checkpoints

1. At 09:35, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint near Ithna town then searched residents and vehicles until 11:30.
2. At 10:10, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the entrance of Al-Fuwar camp then searched residents and vehicles until 11:15.

Raid

1.At dawn on August 31st 2016, Israeli forces raided Al-Samou' and detained a resident.
2. At 00:30, Israeli forces raided Hebron city and detained 2 residents.
3.At dawn on September 1st 2016, Israeli forces raided Beit Ummar town and detained a resident.
4. At dawn on September 1st 2016, Israeli forces raided Dura town and detained a journalist.

Detention

1. Israeli forces detained Na'im Hassan Suliman Al-Hamoudeh in Al-Samou' town.
2. Israeli forces detained Shaker Al-Atrash and Qassim Hijjazi Abu Hussien in Hebron city.
3. Israeli forces detained Muntassir Yusef Abu Ayash in Beit Ummar town.
4. Israeli forces detained Osama Hussien Shahien in Dura town.

Obstruction of Places of Worship

At 22:00 on August 31st 2016, Israeli forces closed Al-Ibrahimi Mosque compound located in the old city of Hebron and prevented residents from worshiping in the mosque to allow a group of Israeli settlers perform Talmudic rituals. {The closure will continue until 22:00 on September 1st 2016}.

GAZA STRIP

ALL DISTRICTS

• Since 19:00 on August 26th 2014, Palestinian Gunmen and the Israeli military agreed to a cease fire agreement (brokered by the Arab Republic of Egypt) which includes the opening of border crossings to allow the entry of emergency supplies and humanitarian goods as well as construction material and agreed to increase the fishing limit to 6 nautical miles with possibility of increase to 12 nautical miles by the end of the year and to decrease the Military area to 100 meters, allow freedom of movement and a halt to targeted killings and assassinations and negotiations will be held for discussion on rebuilding the sea port and airports in the coming month.

• The Israeli Military broke the ceasefire agreement by raiding and opening fire towards North Gaza district.
• Israeli Naval vessels broke the ceasefire agreement by opening fire towards Palestinian fishing boats off the shores of North Gaza.
• Palestinian Gunmen broke the ceasefire agreement by opening fire towards a Israeli Military Jeep behind the boarder fence in North Gaza District.

NORTHERN GAZA

Closure of Crossing Points

* Beit Hanun (Erez) is open for the passage of critical patients, journalists, NGO staff, businesspersons and passengers travelling abroad through Al-Karama crossing with previous coordination.

Raid

At 11:00 on August 31st 2016, Israeli forces escorting Military bulldozers stormed 100m into the vicinity of east Jabaliya town and leveled a plot of land then withdrew at 13:00.

Attack

At 05:45 on September 1st 2016, Israeli Naval vessels opened fire towards Palestinian fishing boats off the shores of Al-Sudaniya area located in West Beit Lahiya.

Palestinian Attacks

At 19:00 on August 31st 2016, a Palestinian Gunmen positioned near the border fence in North Beit Lahiiya town opened fire towards a Israeli Military Jeep.

GAZA

Closure of Crossing Points

* Al-Muntar (Karni) Crossing is closed. Beginning on 02 March 2011, the Crossing has been effectively closed following a unilateral Israeli decision.
* Al-Shija’iya (Nahal ‘Oz) Crossing is closed. Beginning on 04 January 2010, the Crossing has closed following a unilateral Israeli decision.

RAFAH

Closure of Crossing Points

* Yasser ‘Arafat International Airport remains closed.
* Rafah (Al ‘Awdah) Crossing is open for the entry and exit of Medical patients, students, and 790 Pilgrims travelling to Perform Hajj in Mecca Saudi Arabia.
* Sufa Crossing is closed.
* Karm Abu Salem (Karem Shalom) Crossing is open for the entry Humanitarian assistance.
