WEST BANK

Closure

• At 24:00 on September 16th 2019,Israeli forces imposed a total closure on the West Bank governorates due to the Israeli Knesset elections on September 17, 2019, and prevented citizens and workers, including holders of permits, from entering Jerusalem and Israel, with the exception of diplomatic and international missions, humanitarian and medical emergencies after prior coordination, and lifting the closure until 24:00 on September 17th 2019.

JERUSALEM

Raid

On the evening of September 17th 2019, Israeli forces raided Al-Eisawiya village and detained 2 children.

Detention

Israeli forces detained 2 children: Mohammed Waseem Nayef Obaid {14 years old}, and Mohammed Khalil Kulaib {15 years old} in Al-Eisawiya village.

Attack

1. At 19:00, Israeli forces positioned at Al-Jabal area located in Abu Dis town fired live ammunition, rubber coated steel bullets, stun and tear gas canisters towards several residents for alleged stoning and as a result injured a resident.
2. At 23:50, Israeli forces fired rubber coated steel bullets, stun and tear gas canisters towards several residents for alleged stoning in Jerusalem city.
3. At 06:20, Israeli forces positioned at Qalandiya Military checkpoint opened fire towards and killed a woman.

Killings

Israeli forces killed Nayfa Mohammad Ka'abna {50 years old}{a resident of Ramoun village in Ramallah & Al-Bireh district} after opening fire towards her at Qalandiya Military checkpoint.

Injuries

Israeli forces injured Imad al-Din Sharif Musa Al-Habal {a resident of Kharbatha Al-Misbah village in Ramallah and Al-Bireh district} during clashes in Al-Jabal area located in Abu Dis town.

Obstruction of Places of Worship

At 09:00,a group of Israeli settlers under the protection of Israeli Military and Police forces stormed Al-Aqsa mosque compound and provoked worshipers.

RAMALLAH & AL BIREH

Flying Checkpoints

1. At 10:30,Israeli forces set up a checkpoint in the area between Ras Kar Kar and Deir Ibzi' villages then searched residents and vehicles.
2.At 17:05, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the entrance of Al-Nabi Saleh village then searched residents and vehicles.
3. At 21:45, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint along Ein Sinya village roundabout then searched residents and vehicles.

Raid

1. At 17:05, Israeli forces raided Beitin village.
2. At 18:50, Israeli forces raided Al-Mughier village and clashed with several residents.
3. At 19:00, Israeli forces raided Al-Janiyat village and clashed with several residents.
4. At 01:30, Israeli forces raided Deir Intham village then stormed and searched several homes.
5. At dawn on September 18th 2019, Israeli forces raided Silwad town and detained 2 residents.

Detention

Israeli forces detained 2 residents: Mohammad Kamil and Soliman Kamil in Silwad town.

Attack

1. At 18:50, Israeli forces fired rubber coated steel bullets, stun and tear gas canisters towards several residents for alleged stoning during their raid into Al-Mughier village.
2. At 19:00,Israeli forces fired rubber coated steel bullets, stun and tear gas canisters towards several residents for alleged stoning during their raid into Al-Janiyat village.

JENIN

Raid

1. At 11:10,Israeli forces raided Jenin city and Bruqin town.
2. At 17:00,Israeli forces raided Zubaba village.

TUBAS

Flying Checkpoints

At 17:55, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the entrance of Tubas city then searched residents and vehicles.

Raid

At 17:00, Israeli forces raided Tubas city, Tammoun town , Tayassir and Al-Far'a villages , clashed with several residents in Tubas city and as a result left 5 residents suffocated from tear gas inhalation.

Attack

At 17:00, Israeli forces fired rubber coated steel bullets, stun and tear gas canisters towards several residents for alleged stoning during their raid into Tubas city and as a result left 5 residents suffocated from tear gas inhalation.

TULKAREM

Raid

At 22:55, Israeli forces raided Tulkarem city and Shwikiya neighborhood.

QALQILIYA

Flying Checkpoints

1. At 13:00, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the entrance of Azzun town then detained a resident.
2. At 18:15, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint in the area between Jayyous town and Al-Nabi Eliyas village then searched residents and vehicles.
3. At 20:05, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint in the area between Azzun town and Izbit Al-Tabib village then searched residents and vehicles.

At 18:10, Israeli forces raided Azzun town.

Detention

Israeli forces positioned at a flying checkpoint at the entrance of Azzun town detained Mohammad Ala Kamil Zamari {a resident of Azzun town}.

NABLUS

Flying Checkpoints

1. At 09:20 and again at 23:30, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at Beit Furiq town junction then searched residents and vehicles.
2. At 19:40, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the entrance of Tel village then searched residents and vehicles.
3. At 23:15, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint in Al-Muraba' area located near the entrance of Tel village then searched residents and vehicles.

Raid

1. At 10:40, Israeli forces raided Tel village then detained a resident.
2. At 13:20, Israeli forces raided Beit Furiq town.
3. At 01:50, Israeli forces raided Beit Furiq town and Beit Dajjan village until 05:40.

Detention

Israeli forces detained Salem Hani Abu Hamdat in Tel village.

SALFIT

Flying Checkpoints

At 15:15, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the west entrance of Deir Istiya town then searched residents and vehicles.

Raid

At 16:55, Israeli forces raided Kafil Harris town.

Detention

At 13:15, Israeli forces positioned at a flying checkpoint detained Izat Yusef Rayan {a resident of Qarwat Bani Hassan } as he was travelling to the US embassy in Jerusalem.

JERICHO

Flying Checkpoints

At 18:00, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint near "Malee Ivrim" settlement then searched residents and vehicles.

Raid

At 02:40, Israeli forces raided Aqbat Jabr camp in Jericho city until 04:00.

BETHLEHEM

Flying Checkpoints

1. At 08:00, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint near Al-Nashash area junction {located at the south entrance of Bethlehem city} then searched residents and vehicles.
2. At 12:10, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint beneath Al-Khader town bridge then searched residents and vehicles.

Raid

At 02:40, Israeli forces raided Bethlehem and Beit Sahur cities, and Al-Aza camp, stormed and searched 2 homes in Bethlehem city then withdrew at 04:30.

Closure of main Roads

On September 17th 2019, Israeli forces closed the main road in Al-Faradis village which leads to the Dead Sea {which is 10 Kilometers long} with barbed wires thus preventing the free flow of traffic.

HEBRON

Flying Checkpoints

1. At 08:00 and again at 18:20, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at Halhul town bridge then searched residents and vehicles.
2. At 01:45, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint in Abu Sineneh neighborhood in the old city of Hebron then searched residents and vehicles.

Raid

1. At 19:30, Israeli forces raided Hebron city until 23:05.
2. At 24:00, Israeli forces raided Bani Na'im town then stormed and searched a home.
3. At 00:35, Israeli forces raided Khursa village and Dura town.
4. At 01:00, Israeli forces raided Halhul town.
5. At 02:05, Israeli forces raided Sa'ir and Al-Shiyoukh towns then stormed and searched a home in Sa'ir town.

GAZA STRIP

ALL DISTRICTS

• At 19:00 on August 26th 2019,The permanent and comprehensive cease-fire entered into force on the initiative and sponsorship of the Arab Republic of Egypt, after reaching understandings to open the crossings, introduce humanitarian and relief assistance and reconstruction supplies, expand the fishing area for 6 miles, Up to 12 miles by the end of the current year, reducing the area of ​​the buffer zone from 300 m to 100 m, freedom of movement and preventing assassinations. The other issues, including the airport and the port, will be negotiated within one month of the cease-fire.
On the morning of 28 June 2019, the Israeli occupation forces allowed the expansion of the sea fishing area in the north of the town of Beit Lahia in the northern Gaza Strip and up to 6 nautical miles from the port of Gaza and from the port of Gaza to the south of Rafah until 15 nautical miles .
•Israeli forces broke the cease fire agreement by raiding Gaza district.
• Israeli Naval vessels broke the ceasefire agreement by opening fire towards Palestinian fishing boats off the shores of Central Gaza district.

Closure of Crossing Points

* Al-Muntar (Karni) Crossing is closed. Beginning on 02 March 2011, the Crossing has been effectively closed following a unilateral Israeli decision.
* Al-Shija’iya (Nahal ‘Oz) Crossing is closed. Beginning on 04 January 2010, the Crossing has closed following a unilateral Israeli decision.

Raid

At 10:45 September 17th 2019,Israeli forces escorting Military bulldozers stormed 50m into the vicinity of east Gaza city and opened fire as they leveled a plot of land then withdrew at 14:30.

CENTRAL GAZA

Attack

On the morning of September 17th 2019,Israeli Naval vessels opened fire towards Palestinian fishing boats off shores of Deir Al-Balah city.

RAFAH

Closure of Crossing Points

* Yasser ‘Arafat International Airport remains closed.
*Rafah (Al ‘Awdah) Crossing is open for the entry and exit of travelers.
