Daily Report September 17, 2016

At 00:45 on September 16th 2016, Israeli forces temporarily detained Hamada Sa'ada after storming and searching his home during their raid into Al-Ram town {as mentioned in the previous report} then released him at 24:00.

1. At 12:45, Israeli forces positioned near Bab Al-Amoud area in the old city of Jerusalem opened fire towards and killed Sa'ed Amour {28 years old} {A journalist and Jordanian citizen}.
2. At 13:05, Israeli forces positioned at Lions Gate area {A Main gate entrance leading into Al-Aqsa mosque compound} in the old city of Jerusalem opened fired stun and tear gas grenades towards several residents attempting to enter Al-Aqsa mosque compound { After the killing of a Jordanian citizen} which left several residents suffocated from tear gas inhalation.
3. At 19:15, Israeli forces positioned near Al-Ram town junction fired stun and tear gas grenades towards several residents for alleged stoning.
4. At 21:50, Israeli forces positioned at Ein Al-Louza area in Silwan neighborhood in Jerusalem fired stun and tear gas grenades towards several residents for alleged stoning and as a result injured the child Sa'ed Ahmad Abu Diyab leaving him hospitalized.

Israeli forces opened fire towards and killed Sa'id Amro {28 years old} {A journalist and Jordanian citizen} near Bab Al-Amoud area in the old city of Jerusalem.

On September 16th 2016, Israeli forces stormed Jabal Al-Mukabir neighborhood in Jerusalem and forced Murad Ja'abis to demolish his home {based a order issued by the occupation municipality} for allegedly being built with out a license and imposed a financial penalty amounting to 8000 NIS.

At 13:05, Israeli forces closed Lions Gate area {A Main gate entrance leading into Al-Aqsa mosque compound} in the old city of Jerusalem opened fired stun and tear gas grenades towards several residents attempting to enter Al-Aqsa mosque compound { After the killing of a Jordanian citizen}.

At 18:30, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the entrance of Shuqba village and detained a child.

1. At 04:00, Israeli forces raided Surda village until 04:50.
2. At 03:00, Israeli forces raided Silwad town and summoned Majdi Mahmoud Hamad to report to Israeli Intellegnce for questioning.

Israeli forces positioned at the entrance of Shuqba village detained the child : Hamza Mubah Al-Masri (17 years old).

1. At 13:20, a demonstration took place in Bil’in village protesting against the construction of the wall during which they clashed with Israeli forces and as a result suffocated several residents from tear gas inhalation.
2. At 13:20, a demonstration took place in Ni’lin protesting against the construction of the wall during which they clashed with Israeli forces and as a result left several residents suffocated from tear gas inhalation.

1. At 13:20, Israeli forces fired stun and tear gas grenades towards several demonstrators in Bi'lin town and as a result left them suffocated from tear gas inhalation.

3.At 17:00, Israeli forces positioned at the entrance of Al-Jalazoun camp fired rubber coated steel bullets, stun and tear gas grenades towards several residents for alleged stoning and as a result injured 2 residents leaving them hospitalized.
4. At 17:40, Israeli forces positioned at the entrance of Silwad town fired rubber coated steel bullets, stun and tear gas grenades towards several residents for alleged stoning.

At 14:50, Israeli forces raided Al-Arqa village.

At 20:45, Israeli forces positioned near Izbit Al-Ashqar village assaulted Sameer Othman Suliman (60 years old) {A resident of Asala village} and as a result left him hospitalized with contusions.

At 13:30, a demonstration took place in Kafr Qaddum against the closure of the east entrance during which they clashed with Israeli forces tried to disrupt the demonstration by firing live ammunition, rubber coated steel bullets, stun and tear gas grenades towards demonstrators who attempted to reach the demonstration site and as a result left several others suffocated from tear gas inhalation.

1. At 10:45 and again at 23:15, Israeli forces raided Aqraba town until 00:40.
2.At 15:45, Israeli forces raided Beita town, stormed a bakery and detained a child.
3. At 19:15, Israeli forces raided Kafr Qalil village, stormed and searched 5 homes, detained 2 children then withdrew at 20:30.
4. At 23:50, Israeli forces raided Osarin village then clashed with several residents.
5. At 23:55, Israeli forces raided Salim and Deir Al-Hatab villages.

1. Israeli forces detained the child: Awwad Hamad Mohammad Jaghoub (16 years old) in Beita town.
2. Israeli forces detained 2 children: Haytham Adnan Mansour (16 years old) and Yazan Muhanad Rizq Mansour (17 years old) in Kafr Qalil village.

On the evening of September 16th 2016, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the entrance of Al-Zawiya town then searched residents and vehicles.

1. At 24:00, Israeli forces raided Kafil Harris town.
2. At 00:30, Israeli forces raided Yassuf village and summoned Abdlallah Mt'ab Abdel-Fattah to report to Israeli Intelligence for questioning.

At 17:30, Israeli forces positioned at Za'tara checkpoint temporarily detained Ayman Wael Hassan Jaber {A National Security Force officer} then released him at a later time.

1.At 10:35, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the east entrance of Marah Rabah village then searched residents and vehicles until 11:50.
2.At 14:10, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the entrance of Teqou' town and temporarily detained Khalil Imad Al-Amour then released him at 15:00.
3. At 16:35, Israeli forces set up 2 checkpoints near Deir Obied area in Al-Obidiya town and at the entrance of Dar Salah village then searched residents and vehicles.

1. At 23:35, Israeli forces raided Al-Khader town until 00:40.
2. At 02:10, Israeli forces raided Al-Obidiya town and Al-Shawarat village.

At 14:10, Israeli forces positioned at a flying checkpoint located at the entrance of Teqou' town temporarily detained Khalil Imad Al-Amour then released him at 15:00.

1. At 13:20, Israeli forces set up 2 checkpoints at the entrance of Al-Nabi Yunis area {located along the main road connecting Hebron and Bethlehem} and at Halhoul town bridge then searched residents and vehicles.
2. At 16:20, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint near Wadi Al-Shajana village then searched residents and vehicles.
3. At 18:30, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the entrance of Al-Fuwar camp then searched residents and vehicles.

1.At 15:10, Israeli forces raided Beit Ummar town, clashed with several residents then detained a child.
2. At 03:00, Israeli forces raided Bani Na'im town, stormed and searched several homes, summoned 2 residents: Murad Mohammad Abu Saqout and Abdel-Raheem Khalid Al-Tashli to report to Israeli Intelligence for questioning.

1. At 13:35, Israeli forces positioned near the entrance of "Kiryat Arba'" settlement located in east Hebron city opened fire towards a vehicle and as a result killed Faris Musa Al-Khadour (18 years old) {A resident of Bani Na'im town} and critically injured Raghed Abdallah Al-Khadour (18 years old) {A resident of Bani Na'im town} as they detained her.
2. At 15:10, Israeli forces fired stun and tear gas gernades towards several residents for alleged stoning during their raid into Beit Ummar town.
3. At 17:00, Israeli forces positioned in Tel Al-Rumeda neighborhood in the old city of Hebron opened fire towards and killed the child: Mohammad Thalji Qayed Al-Rajabi {16 years old}.
4. At 17:30, Israeli forces positioned at Bab Al-Zawiya area in Hebron city fired rubber coated steel bullets, stun and tear gas grenades towards several residents for alleged stoning and as a result injured 2 residents.
5. At 06:45, Israeli forces positioned near Al-Rahma mosque in Tel Al-Rumeda neighborhood in the old city of Hebron opened fire towards and killed Hatem Abdel-Hafith Al-Shaloudi {26 years old}.

1. Israeli forces positioned near the entrance of "Kiryat Arba'" settlement located in east Hebron city opened fire towards and killed Faris Musa Al-Khadour (18 years old) {A resident of Bani Na'im town}.

2. Israeli forces positioned in Tel Al-Rumeda neighborhood in the old city of Hebron opened fire towards and killed the child: Mohammad Thalji Kayed Al-Rajabi {16 years old}.

3. Israeli forces positioned near Al-Rahma mosque in Tel Al-Rumeda neighborhood in the old city of Hebron opened fire towards and killed Hatem Abdel-Hafith Al-Shaloudi {26 years old}.

1. Israeli forces positioned near the entrance of "Kiryat Arba'" settlement located in east Hebron city opened fire towards and critically injured Raghed Abdallah Al-Khadour (18 years old) {A resident of Bani Na'im town} as they detained her.
2. Israeli forces injured 2 residents Sameer Hamed Samouh and Mohammad Azmi Mohammad Sakafi during confrontations near Bab Al-Zawiya area in Hebron city.

1. At 13:45, Israeli forces positioned near the entrance of "Kiryat Arba'" settlement located in east Hebron city detained Raghed Abdallah Al-Khadour (18 years old) {A resident of Bani Na'im town} after critically injuring her.
2. At 15:10, Israeli forces detained the child Anan Adel Hassan Abu Ayash {17 years old} during their raid into Beit Ummar town.

* Al-Muntar (Karni) Crossing is closed. Beginning on 02 March 2011, the Crossing has been effectively closed following a unilateral Israeli decision.
* Al-Shija’iya (Nahal ‘Oz) Crossing is closed. Beginning on 04 January 2010, the Crossing has closed following a unilateral Israeli decision.

At 15:30 on September 16th 2016, Israeli forces positioned behind the Green line opened fire towards several residents located in the vicinity Al-Shija’iya (Nahal ‘Oz) Crossing located in east Al-Shija’iya neighborhood in east Gaza city as they were participating in demonstrations protesting the Israeli Military and settler attack on Al-Aqsa mosque compound in the old city of Jerusalem and as a result injured a resident.

At 16:00 on September 16th 2016, Israeli forces positioned behind the Green line opened fire towards several residents located in the vicinity of east Al-Buriej camp as they were participating in demonstrations protesting the Israeli Military and settler attack on Al-Aqsa mosque compound in the old city of Jerusalem and as a result injured 2 residents and left another suffocated from tear gas inhalation.
