WEST BANK

ALL DISTRICTS

Closure

• Since 24:00 on September 8th 2018, Israeli military imposed a full closure of the West Bank districts on the occasion of the Jewish New Year, and prevented citizens and workers, including permit holders, from entering Jerusalem and Israel, except for humanitarian cases after prior coordination until 24:00 on September 11th 2018.

JERUSALEM

Raid

1. At 05:30 on September 9th 2018, Israeli forces raided Abu Dis town and clashed with several residents as they stormed and searched a home.
2. At dawn on September 10th 2018, Israeli forces raided Al-Eisawiya village and detained a resident.

Detention

1. At 09:00, Israeli forces positioned in Al-Aqsa Mosque compound in the old city of Jerusalem detained Raed Badr Yunis Al-Zaghir {A employee for Al-Waqf department/Department of Endowments}{A resident of the old city of Jerusalem}.

2. Israeli forces detained Taj Majer Muhisien in Al-Eisawiya village.

Deportation

On the evening of September 9th 2018, Israeli authorities in Jerusalem city issued a court order banning the child Hannan Al-Razam and her Aunt Na'ima Ghazawi from entering Al-Aqsa mosque compound for a period of 15 days and banned Mohammad Al-Tawil from entering the old city of Jerusalem for a period of 2 weeks as a condition for their release from Israeli Police custody after they were detained while exiting Al-Aqsa mosque.

Attack

1. At 05:30 on September 9th 2018, Israeli forces fired stun and tear gas canisters towards several residents for alleged stoning as they stormed and searched a home during their raid into Abu Dis town.
2. At 11:00 on September 9th 2018, Israeli forces fired stun and tear gas canisters towards several residents after unidentified individuals placed a home made explosive device near the wall gate in Abu Dis town.

Obstruction of Places of Worship

At 08:00 on September 9th 2018, a group of Israeli settler lead by the Israeli Minister of Agriculture under the protection of Israeli Military and Police officers stormed Al-Aqsa mosque compound and provoked worshipers.

RAMALLAH & AL BIREH

Flying Checkpoints

At 10:50, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint near "Halamish" settlement junction then searched residents and vehicles.

Raid

At dawn on September 10th 2018, Israeli forces raided Al-Mughier village.

JENIN

Flying Checkpoints

At 21:30, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at Hadad Al-Siyahiya village junction then searched residents and vehicles.

Raid

At 00:35, Israeli forces raided Rumana village until 01:40.

TUBAS

Raid

At 11:10, Israeli forces raided Attouf village.

TULKAREM

Military Checkpoints

1. At 09:25 and 13:45, Israeli forces intensified their restrictions at Shufa checkpoint and impeded the free flow of traffic until 15:45.
2. At 11:40 and again at 17:55, Israeli forces intensified their restrictions at "Enav" checkpoint and impeded the free flow of traffic until 22:45.

QALQILIYA

Flying Checkpoints

1. At 17:15, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the east entrance of Qalqiliya city then searched residents and vehicles.
2. At 22:45, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the entrance of Azzun town then searched residents and vehicles.
3. At 22:45, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the entrance of Izbit Al-Tabib village then searched residents and vehicles.

Settlers Attacks

On September 9th 2018, Israeli settlers pumped sewage from the solid waste treatment plant in "Sha'arei Tikva" settlement located in Azzun Atma village into Azzoun School - Beit Amin Secondary Boys School Which caused unpleasant odors and the inability of students to move or practice various activities, in addition to the destruction of a large part of the school garden.

NABLUS

Raid

1. At 00:35, Israeli forces raided Deir Sharaf village then stormed and searched several merchant shops near the village roundabout.
2. At 02:00, Israeli forces raided Assira Al-Shamaliya town.

JERICHO

Flying Checkpoints

At 15:20, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint near Ein Dweik village {located in North Jericho city} then searched residents and vehicles until 17:55.

BETHLEHEM

Raid

At 12:45, Israeli forces raided Al-Khadr town and stormed Sa'id Al-Ass boys school then withdrew at 12:55.

Assault on Educational sector

At 12:45, Israeli forces stormed Sa'id Al-Ass boys school during class hours and searched the Principles office and the Secretaries office in a provocative way and as a result left the student feeling anxious during their raid into Al-Khadr town.

HEBRON

Settlers Attacks

On the afternoon of September 9th 2018, a group of Israeli settlers and their children assaulted the child Nizar Al-Shuwaki {16 years old} and sprayed pepper spray onto his face as he was returning home from school in Tel Al-Rumayda neighborhood in the old city of Hebron and as a result left him suffocated from the pepper spray.

GAZA STRIP

ALL DISTRICTS

• Since 19:00 on August 26th 2014, Palestinian Gunmen and the Israeli military agreed to a cease fire agreement (brokered by the Arab Republic of Egypt) which includes the opening of border crossings to allow the entry of emergency supplies and humanitarian goods as well as construction material and agreed to increase the fishing limit to 6 nautical miles with possibility of increase to 12 nautical miles by the end of the year and to decrease the Military area to 100 meters, allow freedom of movement and a halt to targeted killings and assassinations and negotiations will be held for discussion on rebuilding the seaport and airports and on May 4th 2017, Israeli authorities increased the fishing limit to 9 nautical miles from Wadi Gaza until the south border of the Gaza strip and on June 26th 2017 Israeli forces decreased the fishing limit back to 6 nautical miles and on October 17th 2017, Israeli forces increased the fishing limit back to 9 nautical miles and on December 12th 2017 reduced fishing area from 9 nautical miles to 6 nautical miles south of Wadi Gaza and opposite to Rafah and on July 17th 2018, Israeli forces reduced the fishing area from 6 nautical miles to 3 nautical miles, On August 15th 2018, Israeli forces increased the fishing area from 3 nautical miles up to 9 nautical miles from the coast of Al-Badeir area located in Central Gaza up to Rafah district located South of the Gaza strip.

• The Israeli Military broke the ceasefire agreement by opening fire from their positions behind the Green Line towards North Gaza, Gaza, Central Gaza and Khan Yunis district and as a result killed a resident{who was critically injured then detained before being pronounced dead at a later time} and injured 3 residents in North Gaza district.
• Palestinian Gunmen broke the ceasefire agreement by opening fire towards Israeli Military vehicle near the border fence in North West Beit Lahiya town in North Gaza district.

NORTHERN GAZA

Closure of Crossing Points

* Beit Hanun (Erez) crossing is partially open for the passage of critical patients and fully open from both directions for those Jerusalem Identification cards and international Passport holders until 13:00 and is open to Gaza Identification card holders until 15:00 and allowed West Bank and Gaza identification card holders to leave with prior coordination until 13:00.

Attack

1. At 15:00 on September 9th 2018, Israeli forces positioned behind the Green Line opened fire towards several residents in east Beit Hanun town and as a result injured 2 residents.
2. At 15:30 on September 9th 2018, Israeli forces positioned behind the Green Line fired live ammunition, rubber coated steel bullets, stun and tear gas canisters towards several demonstrators who were participating in the march of return in east Jabaliya town and as a result critically injured a resident who was detained near the border fence then was pronounced dead at a later time.

Killings

Israeli forces killed Atef Mohammad Saleh {32 years old}{A resident of Jabaliya town} after he was critically injured a resident and then detained by Israeli forces after opening fire towards demonstrators near the border fence in east Jabliya town.

Injuries

Israeli forces injured 2 unidentified residents during clashes in east Jabliya town.

Palestinian Attacks

At 17:00, Palestinian gunmen positioned near the border fence on North West Beit Lahiya town opened fire towards a Israeli military vehicle who were patrolling the other side of the border fence.

GAZA

Closure of Crossing Points

* Al-Muntar (Karni) Crossing is closed. Beginning on 02 March 2011, the Crossing has been effectively closed following a unilateral Israeli decision.
* Al-Shija’iya (Nahal ‘Oz) Crossing is closed. Beginning on 04 January 2010, the Crossing has closed following a unilateral Israeli decision.

Attack

At 18:40 on September 9th 2018, Israeli forces positioned behind the Green Line opened fire towards several residents in east Gaza city.

CENTRAL GAZA

Detention

At 17:00 on September 9th 2018, Israeli forces detained 3 unidentified residents in east Al-Buriej camp as they attempted to climb the border fence into Israel.

KHAN YUNIS

Attack

1. At 10:45 on September 9th 2018, Israeli forces positioned behind the Green Line opened fire towards agricultural land in east Al-Qarara town located in North east Khan Yunis city.
2. At 16:15 on September 9th 2018, Israeli forces positioned behind the Green Line opened fire towards agricultural land in east Al-Fakhari town located in South east Khan Yunis city.
3. At 22:00 on September 9th 2018, Israeli forces positioned behind the Green Line opened fire towards agricultural land in east Al-Fakhari town located in South east Khan Yunis city.

RAFAH

Closure of Crossing Points

* Yasser ‘Arafat International Airport remains closed.
*Rafah (Al ‘Awdah) Crossing is open for the entry and exit of residents.
* Sufa Crossing is closed.
* Karm Abu Salem (Karem Shalom) Crossing is closed.
