Daily Report October 24, 2018

At dawn on October 24th 2018, Israeli forces raided Al-Eisawiya village and detained 3 residents.

Israeli forces detained 3 residents: Adam Mustafa, Ahmad Abdel-Rauf Mahmoud and Samir Akram Atiya in Al-Eisawiya village.

At 14:00, Israeli forces positioned near the entrance of Shu'fat camp fired stun and tear gas canisters towards several residents for alleged stoning.

1. At 10:10, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint in the area between Maythaloun town and Sanur village then searched residents and vehicles.
2. At 10:40, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at Arraba town junction then searched residents and vehicles.

At 01:30, Israeli forces raided Tammoun town, clashed with several residents as they stormed and searched several homes and as a result killed a resident, injured 6 residents and left 5 others suffocated from tear gas inhalation then withdrew at 04:00.

At 10:30, Israeli forces fired live ammunition,rubber coated steel bullets, stun and tear gas canisters towards several residents for alleged stoning as they stormed and searched several homes during their raid into Tammoun town and as a result killed a resident, injured 6 residents and left 5 others suffocated from tear gas inhalation .

Israeli forces killed Mohammad Mahmoud Sa'ed {21 years old} during clashes in Tammoun town.

Israeli forces injured 6 residents: Tarek Khaled Bani Odeh, Mohammed Khaled Sayel Bani Odeh, Mohammad Abu Ameesh, Mohammed Ahmed Taleb Bisharat, Firas Hussain Ahmed Darghmeh and Mohamed Mustafa Abdul Bisharat during clashes in Tammoun town.

On the morning of October 23rd 2018, Israeli forces dismantled 2 caravans used as classrooms for "Marwan Imjali secondary school" in Khirbiet Deir Ibziq village and is used to teach 26 local students then proceeded to confiscate the structure and served a military order to halt construction of concrete walls which will surround the school and the paving of a 500 M road which will lead to the area of the school.

At 18:30, the Israeli Military intensified their restrictions at "Enav" military checkpoint and impeded the free flow of traffic until 20:00.

1. At 00:35, Israeli forces raided Beit Lid town, stormed and searched several homes, detained 3 residents {including a woman and a child} then withdrew at 02:10.
2. At 03:15, Israeli forces raided Tulkarem city and Shwakiya neighborhood in the city , detained 4 residents then withdrew at 05:50.

1. At 08:10 and again at 17:20, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the entrance of Immnatin village then searched residents and vehicles and temporarily detained a resident and released him at a later time.
2. At 15:20, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the entrance of Azzun town then searched residents and vehicles.

1. On the evening of October 23rd 2018, Israeli forces raided Azzun town and clashed with several residents.
2. At dawn on October 24th 2018, Israeli forces raided Kafr Laqif village and detained a resident.

Israeli forces detained Rami Al-Ghazawi in Kafr Laqif village.

At 17:20, Israeli forces positioned at a flying checkpoint located at the entrance of Immatin village temporarily detained: Huthayfa Abdel-Nasser Ghanam {A resident of Immatin village} then released him at 18:20.

1. At 18:00, Israeli forces raided Kafr Qalil village, clashed with several residents then withdrew at 19:40.
2. At 22:00, Israeli forces raided Qussin village until 03:55.
3. At dawn on October 24th 2018, Israeli forces raided Salem village.

At 09:00, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the entrance of Deir Istiya town then searched residents and vehicles until 12:00.

At 10:30, Israeli forces raided Kafr Al-Dik town.

1. At 08:40, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the entrance of Beit Jalla city then searched residents and vehicles until 10:00.
2. At 19:50, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the west entrance of Teqou' town then searched residents and vehicles until 21:30.

At 02:05, Israeli forces raided Al-Azat camp in Bethlehem city, detained a resident then withdrew at 05:10.

At 01:25, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the entrance of Al-Hawawier area {located at the North entrance of Halhul town} and temporarily detained 3 residents after opening fire towards their vehicle.

1. At dawn on October 24th 2018, Israeli forces raided Bani Na'im town then stormed and searched 3 homes.
2. At dawn on October 24th 2018, Israeli forces raided Hebron city then stormed and searched a home.

At 01:25, Israeli forces positioned at a checkpoint at the entrance of Al-Hawawier area {located at the North entrance of Halhul town} opened fire towards a vehicle then temporarily detained 3 residents.

* Beit Hanun (Erez) crossing is partially open for the passage of critical patients, journalists, NGO staff, businesspersons and passengers travelling abroad through Al-Karama crossing with previous coordination.

At 06:30 on October 23rd 2018, Israeli Naval vessels opened fire towards Palestinian fishing boats off the shores of Al-Waha area located in North West Beit Lahiya town then temporarily detained 2 fishermen and then released them after confiscating their fishing boat.

Israeli Naval forces temporarily detained 2 fishermen: Awad Nafith Abdel-Malik Al-Sultan and Ahmad Imad Mahmoud Siyam off the shores of Al-Waha area located in North West Beit Lahiya town then released them after confiscating their fishing boat.

* Al-Muntar (Karni) Crossing is closed. Beginning on 02 March 2011, the Crossing has been effectively closed following a unilateral Israeli decision.
* Al-Shija’iya (Nahal ‘Oz) Crossing is closed. Beginning on 04 January 2010, the Crossing has closed following a unilateral Israeli decision.

At 13:00 on October 23rd 2018, Israeli Naval vessels opened fire towards Palestinian fishing boats off the shores of Gaza city then temporarily detained 2 fishermen and then released them after confiscating their fishing boat.

Israeli Naval forces temporarily detained 2 fishermen: Mahmoud Mohammad Ibrahim Miqdad and Hassan Suhiel Hassan Miqdad off the shores of Gaza city then released them after confiscating their fishing boat.

On the evening of October 23rd 2018, Israeli forces positioned behind the Green Line fired live ammunition, rubber coated steel bullets, stun and tear gas canisters towards several demonstrators in east Deir Al-Balah city during the march of return and as a result killed a child and injured 6 residents.

Israeli forces killed the child Muntasir Mohammad Ismail Al-Baz {17 years old} during clashes in east Deir Al-Balah city.
