Daily Report October 24, 2016

On October 24th 2016, Israeli forces temporarily detained Sammid Assaliya {A Security Guard at Al-Aqsa mosque compound} as he was protesting against the Israeli demolition and digging of several graves in "Bab Al-Rahma" Cemetery located in the vicinity of the compound in east Jerusalem then released him at a later time.

On October 23rd 2016, Israeli Military forces escorting several employees of the Israeli Antiquities Authority entered Bab Al-Rahma Cemetery in Al-Aqsa mosque compound and began digging and destroying several graves.

1. At 22:20, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint near Atarah town bridge then searched residents and vehicles until 24:00.
2. At 22:55, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the entrance of Silwad town then searched residents and vehicles until 24:00.

At 20:25, Israeli forces raided Deir Jreir village , clashed with several residents then withdrew at 22:05.

At 20:30, Israeli forces positioned at Ni'lin checkpoint detained 3 residents: Yusef Sami Abdel-Nabi, Mohammad Mansour Ijrab and Waleed Al-Ka'abibi.

At 14:45, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint in the area between Azzun town and Izbit Al-Tabib village then searched residents and vehicle.

1. At 03:30 on October 20th 2016, Israeli forces raided Jama'in town and detained 2 residents.
2. At 23:25, Israeli forces raided Kafr Qalil village, clashed with several residents as they stormed a home then withdrew at 01:35.
3. At 24:00, Israeli fores raided Beit Furiq town, stormed and searched a home then withdrew at 06:00.
4. At 01:50, Israeli forces raided Talfit village, clashed with several residents as they stormed and searched several homes, detained 2 residents then withdrew at 03:00.

1. Israeli forces detained 2 residents: Ahmad Hussein Ahmad Ali and Abdel-Kareem Ameen Ghazi in Jama'in town.
2. Israeli forces detained 2 residents: Hamza Labib Haj Mohammad and Ahmad Jaber Labib Haj Mohammad in Talfit village.

At 15:35, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint in the area between Bidya town and Harris village then searched residents and vehicles until 14:25.

At 08:00, Israeli forces raided Bidya town, stormed several homes then withdrew at 10:00.

1. At 10:25, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the west entrance of Beit Fajjar town then searched residents and vehicles until 12:15.
2. At 06:00, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the entrance of Al-Ma'assra village then searched residents and vehicles.

At 02:25, Israeli forces raided Bethlehem city, detained a resident and summoned Ali Suliman to report to Israeli Intelligence for questioning then withdrew at 05:00.

Israeli forces detained Suhayeb Kawazbah in Bethlehem city.

1. At 09:00, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at Al-Thahriya town junction then searched residents and vehicles.
2. At 17:00, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the entrance of Ithna town then searched residents and vehicles.
3. At 00:30, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint as they raided Hebron city then searched residents and vehicles.

1. At 00:30, Israeli forces raided Hebron city, stormed and searched several homes the installed a military checkpoint.
2. At 01:30, Israeli forces raided Sa'ir town, stormed and searched a home and confiscated a vehicle owned by the family of Mo'ayad Awni Al-Jabarin {who was killed by Israeli Forces}.

At 11:10, Israeli forces positioned near "Pnei Hever" settlement located in south Bani Na'im town detained Mahmoud Ibrahim Mahmoud Hamdan as he was herding his goats in the area.

1.At 02:05 on October 23rd 2016, Israeli forces confiscated Jewelry and 5000 NIS from the family home of Mo'ayad Awni Al-Jabarin {who was killed by Israeli Forces} during their raid into Sa'ir town as mentioned in the previous report.

2. At 01:30 on October 23 2016, Israeli forces confiscated a vehicle owned by he family home of Mo'ayad Awni Al-Jabarin {who was killed by Israeli Forces} during their raid into Sa'ir town.

* Beit Hanun (Erez) is partially open for humanitarian cases, international journalists, employees working for humanitarian agencies, businessmen and passengers traveling though Al-Karama Crossing until 13:00.

1. At 20:00 on October 23rd 2016, Israeli Naval vessels opened fire towards Palestinian fishing boats off the shores of Al-Sudaniya area located in west Beit Lahiya town.
2. On the morning of October 24th 2016, Israeli forces positioned behind the Green Line launched tank artillery shells towards Palestinian Gunmen bases located in North Beit Hanoun town.
