DAILY SITUATION REPORT

 08:00, 21st  October 2021 -08:00, 22nd October  2021

WEST BANK

JERUSALEM

Detention

1. At 08:30,the Israeli occupation forces positioned in the city of Jerusalem detained the citizen: Mahmoud Imad Dhiba.
2. At 18:00, the occupation forces detained Omar Muammar Abu Al-Hawa, resident of Al-Tur neighborhood in Jerusalem, in Bab Al-Amoud area in Jerusalem.
3. At 19:30, the Israeli occupation forces positioned near the entrance to the town of Al-Eizariya. detained 3 citizens Omar Marwan Obaid, Muhammad Ayman Obaid, and Muhammad Abu Rajab - (all of them are residents of Al-Isawiya village).

Obstruction of Places of Worship

At 08:30, groups of extremist Israeli settlers, under the protection of the Israeli occupation police, stormed the courtyards of Al-Aqsa Mosque, and made provocative tours of its courtyards and facilities.

RAMALLAH & AL BIREH

Raid

At 21:20, the Israeli occupation forces raided the town of Deir Dibwan and conducted a patrol.

Detention

At 12:20, the Israeli occupation forces positioned near the apartheid wall near the town of Beituniya detained the child: Ahmed Odeh Al-Najjar, 17,, while he was picking olives.

JENIN

Raid

1. At 21:50, the Israeli occupation forces raided the town of Ya'bad, where clashes took place with the citizens while they were on patrol, and withdrew at 00:15.
2. At 06:40, the Israeli occupation forces raided the town of Al-Saila Al-Harithiya and the villages of Al-Taybeh, Ta'anak, Rumana and Zabouba, and conducted a patrol.

Attack

At 21:50, the Israeli occupation forces fired stun and tear gas canisters towards citizens for alleged stoning during their raid into the town of Yabad.

TULKAREM

Military Checkpoints

At 20:55, the Israeli occupation forces tightened their procedures at the Shufa checkpoint, and obstructed traffic.

Raid

At 17:35, the Israeli occupation forces raided the village of Saffarin, and carried out the patrol.

QALQILIYA

Flying Checkpoints

At 19:10, the Israeli occupation forces set up a checkpoint at the entrance to the village of Ezbet Al-Tabib, to search vehicles and check the identities of the citizens.

Raid

At 16:50, the Israeli occupation forces raided the villages of Beit Amin and Seneria, and confiscated the CCTV recordings of commercial stores.

NABLUS

Raid

1. At 08:25, the Israeli occupation forces raided the northern town of Asira, and conducted a patrol.
2. At 09:10, the Israeli occupation forces raided the village of Yatma, and patrolled until 12:50.
3. At 05:25,the Israeli occupation forces raided the town of Beita and conducted a patrol.

Settlers Attacks

On 10/21/2021, a group of settlers near the town of Qusra seized a garbage truck belonging to the municipality of Qusra during which the Israeli occupation forces intervened and fired randomly towards a number of citizens while they were trying to confront the settlers.

Attack

On 10/21/2021, the Israeli occupation forces positioned near the town of Qusra fired indiscriminately towards a number of citizens while they were trying to confront a group of settlers during their seizure of a garbage truck belonging to the municipality of Qusra.

SALFIT

Raid

At 16:05, the Israeli occupation forces raided the town of Bidya and conducted a patrol.

JERICHO

Military Checkpoints

At 20:55, the Israeli occupation forces tightened their procedures at the Hamra checkpoint, and obstructed traffic.

Flying Checkpoints

At 20:20, the Israeli occupation forces set up a checkpoint near the village of Ain Al-Dyouk, north of Jericho, to search vehicles and check the identities of the citizens.

BETHLEHEM

Flying Checkpoints

1. At 08:55, the Israeli occupation forces set up a checkpoint in the Aqabat Hasna area (on the main road leading to the western villages in the Bethlehem governorate), to search vehicles and check the identities of citizens.
2. At 15:40 and again at 17:45, the Israeli occupation forces set up a checkpoint at the northern entrance to the town of Tekoa to search vehicles and check the identities of citizens.

Raid

At 17:40, the Israeli occupation forces raided the town of Al-Khader until 20:30.

HEBRON

Flying Checkpoints

At 18:20, the Israeli occupation forces set up a checkpoint at the entrance to the town of Beit Ummar, to search vehicles and check citizens' identities.

Detention

At 06:50, the Israeli occupation forces positioned in the old city of Hebron detained the citizen: Nour Ishaq Ghaith.

Attack

At 12:15, the Israeli occupation forces located in front of Al-Aroub camp, fired rubber-coated metal bullets, stun and tear gas canisters towards citizens at the entrance to the camp for alleged stoning.

Settlement Activities

At 11:55, the Israeli occupation forces began demolishing the old bus garage in the city of Hebron, in preparation for the establishment of a new settlement consisting of 31 housing units, within the occupied territories in 1967.

GAZA STRIP

ALL DISTRICTS

• At 02:00 on 05/21/ 2021, the comprehensive ceasefire entered into force at the initiative and sponsorship of the Arab Republic of Egypt.
• On the morning of 07/30/ 2021, the Israeli occupation forces allowed the expansion of the marine fishing area from 9 nautical miles to 12 nautical miles.

NORTHERN GAZA

Closure of Crossing Points

* Beit Hanoun crossing - “Erez”: On 10/21/ 2021, it is partially open (for the passage of humanitarian cases, foreign journalists, workers of international humanitarian organizations, merchants, businessmen and travelers through the Al-Karama Crossing “Allenby” - previously coordinated for them)

GAZA

Closure of Crossing Points

* Al-Muntar-Karni crossing: closed since 02/03/2011, permanently and by a unilateral Israeli decision.
* Shejaiya Crossing - “Nahal Oz” for fuel: closed since 04. 01. 2010, by unilateral Israeli decision.

RAFAH

Closure of Crossing Points

* Yasser Arafat International Airport: closed.
* Sofa crossing: closed.
* Kerem Shalom crossing - “Kerem Shalom”: on 10/21/ 2021 Partially open (for the entry of foodstuffs and goods, limited quantities of fuel and cooking gas, and building materials for the private sector and for internationally funded projects).
* Al-Awda- Rafah crossing: on 10/21/ 2021 is open in both directions (for citizens to leave and enter).
