DAILY SITUATION REPORT
08:00, 16th October 2020 -08:00, 17th October 2020
On the evening of 10/16/2020, the occupation forces raided Al-Issawiya village and detained a citizen.
Detained in the village of Issawiya is: Luai Ashraf Mahmoud.
At 23:45, the occupation forces fired rubber-coated metal bullets, stun grenades and tear gas in the Silwan neighborhood of Jerusalem, on the pretext that they had been thrown with stones.
1. At 11:10, the occupation forces fired rubber-coated metal bullets, stun grenades and tear gas in the village of Burqa at the citizens participating in an activity to help farmers pick the olive fruit from their lands, wounding 3 citizens, and injuring a number of citizens - Asphyxia due to tear gas inhalation.
2. At 16:30, the occupation forces fired rubber-coated metal bullets, stun grenades and tear gas at the citizens, near the northern entrance to Al-Bireh, under the pretext that they had been thrown with stones.
The 3 wounded during clashes with the occupation forces in the village of Burqa (known among them): Amir Helmy Barakat.
On 10/16/2020, the occupation forces confiscated a bulldozer in the village of Anin, owned by: Adel Jabareen - residents of al-Taybeh village, while he was working on reclamation of the land of the citizen: Samir Khalil Yassin.
At 13:55, Israeli forces raided the village of Ain Al-Bayda in the northern Jordan Valley, and conducted a patrol.
At 19:15, Israeli forces raided the city of Qalqilya and conducted a patrol.
1. At 13:15, the occupation forces fired rubber-coated metal bullets, stun grenades and tear gas, near the eastern (closed) entrance in the village of Kafr Qaddum, at the demonstrators in protest against the closure of the entrance to the village, under the pretext that it had been pelted with stones, wounding a number of citizens Cases of suffocation due to tear gas inhalation.
2. At 16:10, the Israeli occupation forces, present in the vicinity of the "Eyal" crossing, north of Qalqilya, fired rubber-coated metal bullets, stun grenades and tear gas canisters at the citizens, under the pretext that they were being thrown with stones.
At 08:00, the occupation forces tightened their procedures at Huwara checkpoint, and obstructed traffic.
At 08:00, Israeli forces raided the village of Beit Dajan, and a patrol took place.
At 21:10, the occupation forces set up a checkpoint at the northern entrance to the city of Salfit, to search cars and verify citizens' identities.
At 23:00, the occupation forces set up a checkpoint near the scientific project, east of Jericho, to search cars and verify citizens' identities until 00:10.
1. At 08:30, the occupation forces set up a checkpoint at the northern entrance to Tuqu 'town, to search cars and verify citizens' identities.
2. At 20:25, the occupation forces set up a checkpoint at the western entrance to the town of Beit Fajjar, to search cars and verify citizens' identities until 21:25.
3. At 23:30, the occupation forces set up a checkpoint near the Al-Nashash area junction (the southern entrance to Bethlehem), to search cars and check citizens' identities until 00:55.
At 18:10, the occupation forces set up a checkpoint near the entrance to the town of Beit Awa, to search cars and verify citizens' identities.
At 04:25, Israeli forces raided the town of Dura, and detained 3 civilians (including 2 brothers).
The 3 detainees in the town of Dura are: Guevara al-Nammura, Kayed Muhammad Hasan al-Fosfos, and his brother Akram.
During the hours between 13:30 and 18:50, the occupation forces fired live and metal-coated rubber-coated bullets, stun grenades and tear gas in the Bab Al-Zawiya area at the citizens, under the pretext that they were thrown with stones, wounding 2 civilians (one of them a child), and wounding a number of Citizens - suffocated from tear gas inhalation.
The two wounded, during clashes with the occupation forces in the Bab Al-Zawiya area of Hebron city, are: Moataz Tamer Muhammad Al-Haddad, 13, and Muhammad Makram Samih Musawda.
• At 19:00 on 26/08/2014, the permanent and comprehensive ceasefire came into effect with the initiative and patronage of the Arab Republic of Egypt, after reaching understandings to open the crossings, the introduction of humanitarian and relief aid and reconstruction requirements, and expanding the fishing area to a distance of 6 miles with the increase in distance Up to 12 miles by the end of this year, reducing the "security buffer" zone from 300 meters to 100 meters, freedom of movement and preventing assassinations. Other issues, including the airport and the port, will be negotiated within a month of the ceasefire.
• On the morning of June 28, 2019, the occupation forces allowed the expansion of the fishing distance from opposite the Al-Waha area northwest of the town of Beit Lahiya in the northern Gaza governorate and up to the Gaza port by a distance of 6 nautical miles, and from opposite the Gaza port to the south of the coast of Rafah to 15 nautical miles.
• On 01/09/2020, the occupation forces re-expanded the fishing distance from the front of the Al-Waha area northwest of the town of Beit Lahia in the northern Gaza governorate and up to the Gaza port by a distance of 6 nautical miles, and from opposite the Gaza port to the south of the coast of Rafah to 15 nautical miles. After it imposed on 08/16/2020 a complete closure on the maritime domain in front of the fishermen's boats in front of the Gaza Strip.
• Palestinian armed groups violated the ceasefire by firing a shell (of unknown type) towards the Green Line.
* Beit Hanoun Crossing - "Erez": 10/16/2020 is closed (except for the passage of emergency humanitarian cases).
At 21:00 on 10/16/2020, members of the Palestinian armed groups fired a shell (of unknown type) towards the Green Line.
* Al-Muntar-Karni crossing: closed since 02/03/2011, permanently and by a unilateral Israeli decision.
* The Shejaiya Crossing - “Nahal Oz” for fuel: closed on 01/04/2010 by an Israeli unilateral decision.
* Yasser Arafat International Airport: closed.
* Sofa Crossing: closed.
* Kerem Shalom Crossing - “Kerem Shalom”: on 16.10.2020 is closed.
* Al-Awda - Rafah: on 16. 10. 2020 is closed.
