WEST BANK

ALL DISTRICTS

•At 24:00 on October 10th 2016, the Israeli Military sealed off the West Bank for the Jewish Holiday "Yom Kippur" thus preventing residents and workers including those with entry permits from entering Jerusalem city and Israel with the exception of Foreign Diplomats, Humanitarian and emergency medical cases {with prior security clearance} until 24:00 on October 12th 2016.

JERUSALEM

Flying Checkpoints

At 16:00, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the entrance of Biddu town then searched resiednts and vehicles.

Raid

1. At 07:00 on October 12th 2016, Israeli forces raided Al-Ram town, clashed with several residents , injured 2 residents detained 2 resiednts {including a Woman} then withdrew at 09:15 and at 20:50 again raided Al-Ram town, clashed with resiednts and injured another child.
2. At 19:20, Israeli forces raided Al-Issawiya village and clashed with several residents.

Detention

1. At 01:10, Israeli forces detained 5 residents: Jihad Nassar Qaws, Waleed Tufaha, Annas Tufaha and Hamzah Hijazi in the old city of Jerusalem.
2. Israeli forces detained 2 residents: Ghadeer Yahya Al-Halshamoun and Mohammad Nadi Al-Halshamoun in Al-Ram town.

Attack

1.At 07:00 and 20:50 on October 12th 2016, Israeli forces fired rubber coated steel bullets, stun and tear gas grenades towards several residents for alleged stoning and as s result injured 3 residents including a child during their raid into Al-Ram town.
2. At 12:30, Israeli forces positioned near Al-Ram town fired stun and tear gas grenades towards several residents for alleged stoning.
3. At 19:20, Israeli forces fired stun and tear gas grenades towards several residents for alleged stoning during their raid into Al-Issawiya village.
4. At 19:40, Israeli forces positioned in Silwan neighborhood in Jerusalem city fired stun and tear gas grenades towards several residents for alleged stoning
5. At 22:40, Israeli forces positioned in Al-Thuri neighborhood fired stun and tear gas grenades several residents for alleged stoning.

Injuries

Israeli forces injured 3 residents: Ahmad Mohammad Omar Firani (17 years old), Hanan Sa'id Al-Aza and Um Mohammad Jamjoum in during confrontations in Al-Ram town.

Obstruction of Places of Worship

At 16:00, Israeli settlers under the protection of Israeli Military and Police forces stormed Al-Aqsa mosque compound in the old city of Jerusalem and provoked worshipers.

Settlers Attacks

At 23:35, Israeli settlers stormed Al-Thuri neighborhood in Jerusalem city and assaulted Mahdi Abu Najmeh.

RAMALLAH & AL BIREH

Attack

At 14:15, Israeli forces positioned near the entrance of Al-Jalazoun camp fired live ammunition, rubber coated steel bullets, stun and tear gas gernades towards several residents for alleged stoning and as a result injured a child.

Injuries

Israeli forces injured the child: Ahmad Ibrahim Al-Hatab (16 years old) during confrontations near Al-Jalazoun camp.

JENIN

Flying Checkpoints

1. At 17:10, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the entrance of Ti'nik village then searched residents and vehicles.
2. At 17:30, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the entrance of Zubaba village then searched resiednts and vehicles.

Raid

At 22:20, Israeli forces raided Zubaba village, clashed with several residents then withdrew at 23:10.

Attack

At 22:20, Israeli forces fired stun and tear gas gernades towards several residents for alleged stoning during their raid into Zubaba village.

TUBAS

Military Checkpoints

At 13:10, Israeli forces intensified their restrictions at Tayasir checkpoint and impeded the free flow of traffic.

Detention

1. At 15:50, Israeli forces detained Diya Daraghmeh in Al-Buqay'a area located in the North Jordan valley.
2. At 16:45, Israeli forces detained the child Abdallah Mohammad Daraghmeh (14 years old) as he was herding his sheep in Al-Buqay'a area located in the North Jordan valley.

JERICHO

Detention

At 10:25, Israeli forces positioned at Allenby bridge detained Mohammad Abdel-Ghani Tayseer Salam {A residents of Balata camp in Nablus district} as he was returning from Jordan.

BETHLEHEM

Flying Checkpoints

At 15:20, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the west entrance of Beit Fajjar town then searched residents and vehicles until 16:00.

Raid

1. At 01:45, Israeli forces raided Beit Fajjar town, stormed and searched 2 homes then withdrew at 03:40.
2. At 01:45, Israeli forces raided Nahalin village and detained 3 residents including 2 children.
3. At 03:45, Israeli forces raided Teqou' town, detained 2 residents then withdrew at 05:00.

Detention

1. Israeli forces detained 3 residents: Mohammad Rizq Najjajrah (13 years old), Mohammad Qassim Shakarnah (15 years old) and Moath Ali Shakarnah in Nihalin village.
2. Israeli forces detained 2 residents: Ibrahim Nayef Abu Mifrih and Turki Mohammad Raja Ta'amra in Teqou' town.

HEBRON

Flying Checkpoints

At 08:50, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint in Jarroun Jarad area located in south Hebron city then searched residents and vehicles.

Obstruction of Places of Worship

On October 12th 2016, Israeli forces closed Al-Ibrahimi mosque compound in the old city of Hebron and prevented worshipers from performing prayers in order to allow a group of Israeli settlers to perform Talmudic rituals for the Jewish Holiday "Yom Kippur".

GAZA STRIP

ALL DISTRICTS

• Since 19:00 on August 26th 2014, Palestinian Gunmen and the Israeli military agreed to a cease fire agreement (brokered by the Arab Republic of Egypt) which includes the opening of border crossings to allow the entry of emergency supplies and humanitarian goods as well as construction material and agreed to increase the fishing limit to 6 nautical miles with possibility of increase to 12 nautical miles by the end of the year and to decrease the Military area to 100 meters, allow freedom of movement and a halt to targeted killings and assassinations and negotiations will be held for discussion on rebuilding the sea port and airports in the coming month.

• The Israeli Military broke the ceasefire agreement by opening fire from their positions behind the Green Line towards Khan Yunis districts and as a result killed a child.
• Israeli Naval vessels broke the ceasefire agreement by opening fire towards Palestinian fishing boats off the shores of North Gaza district.

NORTHERN GAZA

Closure of Crossing Points

* Beit Hanun (Erez) is closed {with the exception of emergency medical cases}.

Attack

At 12:00 on October 12th 2016, Israeli Naval vessels opened fire towards Palestinian fishing boats off the shored of Al-Sudaniya area located in west Beit Lahiya town.

GAZA

Closure of Crossing Points

* Al-Muntar (Karni) Crossing is closed. Beginning on 02 March 2011, the Crossing has been effectively closed following a unilateral Israeli decision.
* Al-Shija’iya (Nahal ‘Oz) Crossing is closed. Beginning on 04 January 2010, the Crossing has closed following a unilateral Israeli decision.

KHAN YUNIS

Attack

At 08:30 on October 12th 2016, Israeli forces positioned behind the Green Line opened fire towards agricultural land in east Al-Fakhari town.

RAFAH

Closure of Crossing Points

*Yasser ‘Arafat International Airport remains closed.
*Rafah (Al ‘Awdah) Crossing is closed.
*Sufa Crossing is closed.
*Karm Abu Salem (Karem Shalom) Crossing is closed.
