WEST BANK

ALL DISTRICTS

* At 24:00 on October 10th 2016, the Israeli Military sealed off the West Bank for the Jewish Holiday "Yom Kippur" thus preventing residents and workers including those with entry permits from entering Jerusalem city and Israel with the exception of Foreign Diplomats, Humanitarian and emergency medical cases {with prior security clearance} until 24:00 on October 12th 2016.

JERUSALEM

Flying Checkpoints

At 19:30, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the entrance of Badour town then searched residents and vehicles until 20:50.

Raid

At 01:15, Israeli forces raided Al-Issawiya village and clashed with several residents.

Detention

1. At 08:30, Israeli forces detained Mufeed Ghayth {A resident of Shu'fat camp in Jerusalem city} near Al-Aqsa Mosque compound.
2.At 18:45, Israeli forces detained 2 residents: Mahmoud Al-Salaymeh and Ahmad Al-Aqabi near the North junction of Al-Ram town.
3. On October 11th 2016, Israeli forces detained Mohammad Fawaz Al-Joulani in Shu'fat camp located in Jerusalem city.
4. At dawn on October 12th 2016, Israeli forces detained Wissam Kashour in Al-Sa'aydah neighborhood in Jerusalem city.

Attack

1. At 10:25, Israeli forces fired stun and tear gas grenades towards several residents for alleged stoning in Al-Ram town.
2. At 18:45, Israeli forces positioned at the North Junction of Al-Ram town fired live ammunition, rubber coated steel bullets, stun and tear gas grenades towards several residents for alleged stoning and as a result injured 4 residents including 3 children: Mursi Ahmad Azmi (15 years old), Ahmad Mursi Aref (15 years old), Ahmad Aref Abu Sbieh(17 years old) and Eyad Farah Ali .
3. At 23:15, Israeli forces positioned in Silwan neighborhood in Jerusalem city fired live ammunition, rubber coated steel bullets, stun and tear gas grenades towards several residents for alleged stoning and as a result killed Ali Atef Ibrahim Al-Shiyoukhi (20 years old) and critically injured Jameel Jamal Al-Abbasi (24 years old)
4. At 01:15, Israeli forces fired live ammunition, rubber coated steel bullets, stun and tear gas grenades towards several residents for alleged stoning during their raid into Al-Issawiya village.

Killings

Israeli forces opened fire towards and killed Ali Atef Ibrahim Al-Shiyoukhi (20 years old) during clashes in Silwan neighborhood in Jerusalem city.

Injuries

1. Israeli forces injured 4 residents including 3 children: Mursi Ahmad Azmi (15 years old), Ahmad Mursi Aref (15 years old), Ahmad Aref Abu Sbieh(17 years old) and Eyad Farah Ali during clashes near the North Junction of Al-Ram town .
2. Israeli forces critically injured Jameel Jamal Al-Abbasi (24 years old) during clashes in Silwan neighborhood in Jerusalem city.

Assaults on Property

At 21:25 on October 10th 2016, Israeli forces closed a merchant shop owned by the family of Musbah Abu Sbeih {who was killed by Israeli forces } during their raid into Al-Ram town.

Closure of main Roads

At 16:45, Israeli forces closed the entrance of Al-Issawiya village with cement blocks.

Obstruction of Places of Worship

At 09:00,Israeli settlers under the protection of Israeli Military and Police forces stormed Al-Aqsa mosque compound in the old city of Jerusalem and provoked worshipers.

RAMALLAH & AL BIREH

Flying Checkpoints

1. At 12:10, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the entrance of Um Safa village then searched residents and vehicles until 17:45.
2. At 06:20, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the south entrance of Al-Bireh city {Along the main road connecting Al-Bireh and Jerusalem} then searched residents and vehicles until 07:30.

Raid

1. At 21:10, Israeli forces raided Ni'lin town {for the alleged shooting incident towards "Ni'ili" settlement} during which they clashed with several residents and detained 2 children.
2. At 05:30, Israeli forces raided Al-Bireh city, stormed and searched a apartment owned by Fahed Sharay'a and confiscated surveillance camera footage then withdrew at 06:45.

Detention

Israeli forces detained 2 children: Mu'taz Salah Al-Kahawja (16 years old) and Hamzah Hazem Al-Khawaja (15 years old) in Ni'lin town.

Attack

1. At 12:10, Israeli forces positioned near Atarah bridge fired stun and tear gas grenades towards several residents for alleged stoning.
2. At 21:10, Israeli forces fired live ammunition, rubber coated steel bullets, stun and tear gas grenades towards several residents for alleged stoning during their raid into Ni'lin town.

Confiscation of Property

At 05:30, Israeli forces confiscated surveillance camera footage as they stormed and searched a apartment owned by Fahed Sharay'a during their raid into Al-Bireh city.

Closure of main Roads

1. At 14:40, Israeli forces closed the main road connecting Ras Kar Kar and Kafr Ni'meh villages with cement blocks.

JENIN

Flying Checkpoints

At 17:45, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the entrance of Zubaba village then searched residents and vehicles until 18:25.

TULKAREM

Military Checkpoints

At 10:50, Israeli forces intensified their restrictions at "Enav" checkpoint and impeded the free flow of traffic until 12:30.

Settlers Attacks

At 19:30, Israeli settlers positioned near the entrance of Shufa village stoned residents and vehicles then withdrew at 20:00.

NABLUS

Raid

1. At 11:30, Israeli forces raided Sabastiya village.
2. At 00:35, Israeli forces raided Beit Furiq town until 06:40.

Temporary Detention

At 09:30, Israeli forces positioned at Beit Furiq checkpoint temporarily detained Ahmad Mohammad Odah Hanini { A National Security Force officer} then released him at 11:30.

BETHLEHEM

Flying Checkpoints

1. At 08:55, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at Marah Rabah village junction then searched residents and vehicles until 09:30.
2. At 09:00, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the west entrance of Beit Fajjar town then searched residents and vehicles until 12:20.
3. At 18:00, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the west entrance of Teqou' town, detained 3 residents including 2 children, temporarily detained another residents and released him at a later time then withdrew at 01:20.

Detention

Israeli forces detained 3 residents including 2 children: Abu Shaqra (15 years old) Mahmoud Ahmad Shihadeh (17 years old) and Mohammad Ahmad Shihadeh {All are residents of Marah Rabah village} near the west entrance of Teqou' town.

Temporary Detention

At 18:00, Israeli forces positioned at a flying checkpoint near the west entrance of Teqou' town temporarily detained Shadi Musa Abu Shaqrah {A resident of Marah Ranah village} then released him at a later time.

Attack

At 18:00, Israeli forces positioned near Ayda camp in Bethlehem city fired stun and tear gas grenades towards several residents for alleged stoning.

HEBRON

Flying Checkpoints

1. At 08:35, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the entrance of Al-Samou' town then searched residents and vehicles.
2. At 12:15, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at Halhoul town bridge then searched residents and vehicles.
3. At 13:25, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at Al-Thahriya town junction then searched residents and vehicles.

Raid

At 19:05, Israeli forces raided Hebron city, clashed with several residents then withdrew at 21:50.

Attack

At 19:05, Israeli forces fired stun and tear gas grenades towards several residents for alleged stoning during their raid into Hebron city.

GAZA STRIP

ALL DISTRICTS

• Since 19:00 on August 26th 2014, Palestinian Gunmen and the Israeli military agreed to a cease fire agreement (brokered by the Arab Republic of Egypt) which includes the opening of border crossings to allow the entry of emergency supplies and humanitarian goods as well as construction material and agreed to increase the fishing limit to 6 nautical miles with possibility of increase to 12 nautical miles by the end of the year and to decrease the Military area to 100 meters, allow freedom of movement and a halt to targeted killings and assassinations and negotiations will be held for discussion on rebuilding the sea port and airports in the coming month.

• The Israeli Military broke the ceasefire agreement by opening fire from their positions behind the Green Line towards Khan Yunis district.
• Israeli Naval vessels broke the ceasefire agreement by opening fire towards Palestinian fishing boats off the shores of North Gaza district.

NORTHERN GAZA

Closure of Crossing Points

* Beit Hanun (Erez) is closed {with the exception of emergence medical cases} until 13:00.

Attack

At 14:50 on October 11th 2016, Israeli Naval vessels opened fire towards Palestinian fishing boats off the shored of Al-Sudaniya area located in west Beit Lahiya town.

GAZA

Closure of Crossing Points

* Al-Muntar (Karni) Crossing is closed. Beginning on 02 March 2011, the Crossing has been effectively closed following a unilateral Israeli decision.
* Al-Shija’iya (Nahal ‘Oz) Crossing is closed. Beginning on 04 January 2010, the Crossing has closed following a unilateral Israeli decision.

KHAN YUNIS

Attack

At 09:30 on October 11th 2016, Israeli forces positioned behind the Green Line opened fire towards agricultural land in east Al-Qarara town.

RAFAH

Closure of Crossing Points

*Yasser ‘Arafat International Airport remains closed.
*Rafah (Al ‘Awdah) Crossing is closed.
*Sufa Crossing is closed.
