DAILY SITUATION REPORT
08:00, 26th November 2020 -08:00, 27th November 2020
On 11/26/2020, the occupation forces detained Mahmoud al-Qadi and his brother Ismail in Bab al-Majles (one of the gates leading to the Al-Aqsa Mosque) in the Old City of Jerusalem.
At 08:30, a group of extremist settlers, under the protection of the occupation police, stormed the courtyards of Al-Aqsa Mosque, and conducted provocative tours in its courtyards and facilities.
1. At 12:25, the occupation forces set up a checkpoint at the entrance to the town of Ni'lin, and arrested a citizen.
2. At 16:05, the occupation forces set up a checkpoint near the entrance to the settlement of "Ofra", to search cars and verify citizens' identities.
3. At 18:00, the Israeli occupation forces set up a checkpoint at the entrance to Silwad town, to search cars and verify citizens' identities.
4. At 02:30, the Israeli occupation forces set up a checkpoint at the entrance to Aboud town, to search cars and verify citizens' identities.
1. At 10:55, Israeli forces raided the village of Kafr Naama and conducted a patrol.
2. At 16:10, Israeli forces raided Ain Arik village and arrested 3 civilians.
3. At 18:45, Israeli forces raided the town of Turmus Aya, and stormed the yard of "Hugo Chavez" hospital while on patrol.
1. At 03:55 on 11/26/2020, the occupation forces detained 2 citizens William Kamal Abdullah and Khalil Hani Shukair during their raid into Bir Zeit town (in addition to what was mentioned in the previous report).
2. Israeli forces positioned at a flying checkpoint located at the entrance to the town of Ni'lin detained Abdul Basit Abdul-Jabbar Sorour - residents of Ni'lin town.
3. The 3 detainees in the village of Ain Arik are: Ilyas Basim Abu Hilal, Hussam Ahmad Karabsa, and Ali Munif Qurabsa.
At 02:20, Israeli forces raided the city of Jenin, the towns of Yamoun and Silat al-Harithiya, and the villages of Beit Qad and Deir Ghazala, and stormed a number of homes, and detained 5 citizens.
The 5 detainees in the city of Jenin and the towns of al-Yamoun and Silat al-Harithiya and the villages of Beit Qad and Deir Ghazaleh are: Ibrahim Taher Muhammad Nawahdha - residents of al-Yamoun town, Abd al-Jabbar Muhammad Ahmad Jarrar - residents of the city of Jenin, Muhammad Omar Mustafa Shihab - residents of the city of Jenin, Samer Mustafa Jaradat - residents The town of Silat al-Harithiya, and Muhannad Abd al-Fattah Zakarneh - residents of Deir Ghazaleh village.
At 08:25, the occupation forces tightened their procedures at Tayasir checkpoint, and obstructed traffic.
At 14:40, the occupation forces set up a flying checkpoint at the entrance to the village of Ezbet Shoufah, to search cars and verify citizens' identities.
At 08:10, the occupation forces set up a checkpoint between the town of Azzun and the village of Izbat al-Tabib, to search cars and verify citizens' identities.
At 18:30, the occupation forces tightened their procedures at the "Beit Furik" checkpoint, and obstructed traffic.
1. At 15:35, the occupation forces set up a checkpoint near the "Yitzhar" settlement junction, to search cars and verify citizens' identities.
2. At 20:15, the occupation forces set up a checkpoint near the "Shafi Shimron" settlement junction, to search cars and verify citizens' identities.
At 01:25, Israeli forces raided the village of Beit Dajan, detained 4 citizens (including 2 brothers), and withdrew at 02:15.
The 4 detainees in the village of Beit Dajan are: Abd al-Rahman Talab al-Hajj Muhammad, Abd al-Rahim Talab al-Hajj Muhammad, Mutasim Sameh Abu Ghneim, and Thawri Ibrahim Abu Mortada.
At 21:10, the occupation forces set up a checkpoint at the Kifl Haris junction, to search cars and verify citizens' identities.
1. At 08:10, the occupation forces set up a checkpoint at the southern entrance to Jericho, to search cars and verify citizens' identities.
2. At 20:15, the occupation forces set up a checkpoint at the northern entrance to Jericho, to search cars and verify citizens' identities.
At 11:50, the occupying forces tightened their procedures at the "Container" checkpoint, and blocked traffic until 12:15.
1. At 19:50, the occupation forces set up 3 checkpoints near the Al-Nashash area junction (the southern entrance to Bethlehem) and at the entrance to the city of Beit Jala and under the bridge of the town of Al-Khader, to search cars and verify citizens' identities.
2. At 23:15, the occupation forces set up a checkpoint near the roundabout of the "Kfar Etzion" settlement, and arrested a citizen.
At 00:35, Israeli forces raided the town of Tuqu ', where clashes took place with the citizens while they were on patrol.
Israeli forces positioned at a flying checkpoint located near the roundabout of the "Kfar Etzion" settlement detained Khaled Jamal Farraj - a resident of Dheisheh camp in Bethlehem.
At 00:35, the Israeli occupation forces fired rubber-coated metal bullets, stun grenades and tear gas at the citizens, during the storming of the town of Tekoa, under the pretext that they were throwing stones while on patrol.
At 15:40, the occupation forces set up a checkpoint on Wadi al-Qaf road (leading to the town of Tarqumiya), to search cars and verify citizens' identities.
1. At 11:30, Israeli forces raided Hebron and patrolled.
2. At 01:10, Israeli forces raided the towns of Nuba, Kharas, Beit Ula, and Tarqumiya, and patrolled until 03:30.
3. At 01:55, Israeli forces raided Sa'ir town, and patrolled until 04:00.
At dawn on 11/26/2020, the occupation forces detained Hammouda Maher Abu Hayya in the Old City of Hebron.
At 13:30, the occupying forces fired live bullets and metal-coated rubber-coated bullets, stun grenades and tear gas, near Tariq bin Ziyad School in the Old City of Hebron, at the citizens, under the pretext that they had been thrown with stones.
• At 19:00 on 26/08/2014, the permanent and comprehensive ceasefire came into effect with the initiative and patronage of the Arab Republic of Egypt, after reaching understandings to open the crossings, the introduction of humanitarian and relief aid and reconstruction requirements, and expanding the fishing area to a distance of 6 miles with the increase in distance Up to 12 miles by the end of this year, reducing the "security buffer" zone from 300 meters to 100 meters, freedom of movement and preventing assassinations. Other issues, including the airport and the port, will be negotiated within a month of the ceasefire.
• On the morning of June 28, 2019, the occupation forces allowed the expansion of the fishing distance from opposite the Al-Waha area northwest of the town of Beit Lahiya in the northern Gaza governorate and up to the Gaza port by a distance of 6 nautical miles, and from opposite the Gaza port to the south of the coast of Rafah to 15 nautical miles.
• On 01/09/2020, the occupation forces re-expanded the fishing distance from the front of the Al-Waha area northwest of the town of Beit Lahia in the northern Gaza governorate and up to the Gaza port by a distance of 6 nautical miles, and from opposite the Gaza port to the south of the coast of Rafah to 15 nautical miles. After it imposed on 08/16/2020 a complete closure on the maritime domain in front of the fishermen's boats in front of the Gaza Strip.
• The occupying forces violated the ceasefire, by firing from their positions on the Green Line in Khan Yunis Governorate, and by firing at the fishermen's boats in the northern Gaza governorate.
* Beit Hanoun Crossing - "Erez": On 11/26/2020 is closed (except for the passage of emergency humanitarian cases).
At 21:30 on 11/26/2020, Israeli gunboats fired at the fishermen's boats, while chasing them at sea, off the Al-Sudania beach, west of the town of Beit Lahia.
* Al-Muntar-Karni crossing: closed since 02/03/2011, permanently, and by unilateral Israeli decision.
* The Shejaiya Crossing - “Nahal Oz” for fuel: closed since 04. 01. 2010 by an Israeli unilateral decision.
At 08:00 on 11/26/2020, the occupation forces fired from their positions on the Green Line, towards agricultural lands east of the town of Al-Fokhari, east of Khan Yunis.
* Yasser Arafat International Airport: closed.
* Sofa Crossing: closed.
* Kerem Shalom Crossing - “Kerem Shalom”: On 11/26/2020 is is partially open (for the entry of foodstuffs, goods, building materials, and limited quantities of fuel).
* Al-Awda - Rafah crossing: on 11/26/2020, it is open in both directions (for the departure and entry of citizens).
