DAILY SITUATION REPORT
08:00, 29th May 2021 -08:00, 30th May 2021
At 19:40, the Israeli occupation forces set up a checkpoint at the entrance to the town of Al-Eizariya, to search cars and check the identities of the citizens.
1. At 10:20,the Israeli occupation forces positioned in the Old City of Jerusalem detained the citizen: Tawfiq Najib.
2. At 10:30, the Israeli occupation forces positioned in the village of Al-Isawiya detained the child: Nayef Waseem Obaid, 17 years old (wounded during confrontations with the Israeli occupation forces on 05/28/2021).
3. At 16:00, the Israeli occupation forces detained Malik Asali in the Old City of Jerusalem.
On the evening of 05/29/2021, the Israeli occupation forces fired stun and tear gas canisters towards citizens participating in a stand of solidarity with the people of Sheikh Jarrah, whose homes were under threat of being seized by the settlement associations.
At 20:30, the Israeli occupation forces set up a checkpoint at the entrance to the village of Beitin, to search cars and verify citizens' identities.
1. At 03:35, the Israeli occupation forces raided the village of Ain Qinya, detained a citizen, and delivered notices for 2 citizens: Imad Tayseer Abu Zayed and Malik Helmy Abu Zayed for review by the Israeli intelligence.
2. At 06:10, the Israeli occupation forces raided the city of Al-Bireh and conducted a patrol.
1. At 17:00, the Israeli occupation forces positioned at a military checkpoint detained citizen: Iyad Al-Mukhal - resident of Al-Bireh.
2. At 00:30, the occupation forces arrested the citizen: Muhammad Abu Arab - residents of Ramallah, while he was visiting the Israeli intelligence.
3. The detainee in the village of Ain Qinya is: Muhannad Abu Zayed.
At 13:00, the Israeli occupation forces fired live ammunition and rubber coated metal bullets, stun grenades and tear gas canisters towards citizens participating in a demonstration against the confiscation of land and the attacks of settlers in the Jabal Al-Alam area in the town of Ni'lin and as a result wounded 4 citizens.
The 4 citizens :Juma'a Ahed Sorour, Osaid Ibrahim Abdo Sorour, Izz al-Din Khalil Muhammad Habari, and Juma'a Tawfiq Muhammad Dar Hamad Hamdiya were wounded during confrontations with the Israeli occupation forces in the town of Ni'lin.
At 22:45, the Israeli occupation forces raided the town of Ya'bad, and detained 3 civilians.
The 3 detainees in the town of Ya'bad are: Ahmed Kamel Muhammad Abu Bakr, Faraj Mahmoud Kamel Abu Bakr, and Ahmed Muhammad Abdel Fattah Abu Bakr.
At 19:30, the Israeli occupation forces positioned at one of the military checkpoints detained the citizen: Nassar Jamil Jamil Ja'ara - a resident of the town of Alar.
At 18:00, the Israeli occupation forces positioned near the "Eyal" checkpoint located in north of Qalqilya, fired stun and tear gas canisters towards demonstrators for alleged stoning.
1. At 23:10, the Israeli occupation forces set up a checkpoint in the Al-Murabba area, near the village of Tal, to search cars and check the identities of the citizens.
2. At 01:05, the Israeli occupation forces set up a checkpoint near the junction of the "Shafi Shomron" settlement, and arrested a citizen.
The detainee at a flying checkpoint at the junction of the settlement of "Shafi Shomron" is: Khader Adnan - a resident of the town of Arraba in the Jenin governorate.
At 22:40, the Israeli occupation forces positioned in the Jabal Sobeih area in the town of Beita, fired live ammunition, rubber-coated metal bullets, stun and tear gas canisters towards citizens participating in a demonstration against settlers’ attacks and land confiscation for settlement projects, as a result left several citizens suffocated from tear gas inhalation.
At 17:35, the Israeli occupation forces tightened their procedures at the Za'tara Junction checkpoint, and obstructed traffic.
1. At 16:40, the Israeli occupation forces set up a checkpoint at the northern entrance to the city of Salfit, to search cars and check the identities of citizens.
2. At 20:50, the Israeli occupation forces set up a checkpoint at the entrance to the town of Deir Istiya, to search cars and check the identities of the citizens.
At 08:35, the Israeli occupation forces set up a checkpoint at the southern entrance to the city of Jericho, to search cars and check the identities of citizens.
1. At 13:55, the Israeli occupation forces set up a checkpoint at the western entrance to Husan village, to search cars and check citizens' identities.
2. At 13:55, the Israeli occupation forces set up a checkpoint at the entrance to the village of Marah Rabah, to search cars and check the identities of the citizens.
3. At 20:30, the Israeli occupation forces set up a checkpoint at the western entrance to the town of Beit Fajjar, to search cars and check the identities of the citizens.
1. At 00:55, the Israeli occupation forces raided the town of Tekoa, and handed the citizen: Omar Musa Hajjaha, a notice to report to the Israeli intelligence.
2. At 03:35, the Israeli occupation forces raided the town of Beit Fajjar and detained a citizen.
The detainee in the town of Beit Fajjar is: Rami Muhammad Thawabteh.
On 05/29/2021, the Israeli occupation authorities forced the citizen: Mahmoud Al-Wahsh to personally demolish his 60-square-meter house in the village of Al-Fardis, east of Bethlehem after notifying him earlier, in order to avoid paying heavy fines in the event of the occupation authorities implemented demolition process, on the pretext of not having a permit because it is located in the classified area (C) under Israeli control.
On 05/29/2021, the Israeli occupation authorities forced Mahmoud Al-Wahsh, to personally demolish a 40-square-meter sheep farm in the village of Al-Fardis, east of Bethlehem,, after notifying him earlier, in order to avoid paying heavy fines if the occupation authorities did implemented demolition process, on the pretext of not having a permit because it is located in the classified area (C) under Israeli control.
1. At 22:10, the Israeli occupation forces set up a checkpoint at the junction of the town of Al-Samou`, to search cars and check the identities of citizens.
2. At 22:10, the Israeli occupation forces set up a checkpoint near the village of Karmel (at the southern entrance to Yatta town), to search cars and check the identities of the citizens.
At 01:30, the Israeli occupation forces raided the town of Sa'ir, where clashes took place with the citizens while they were on patrol, as a result a citizen was injured.
At 01:30,the Israeli occupation forces during their raid into the town of Sa'ir, fired stun and tear gas towards citizens for alleged stoning with stones while on patrol and as a result injured a citizen.
The citizen Wajdi Nayef Jaradat was wounded during confrontations with the Israeli occupation forces in the town of Sa'ir.
At 18:10, a group of settlers, under the protection of the Israeli occupation forces, seized a plot citizens owned lands located in the towns of Al-Shuyoukh and Sa'ir, and placed a number of mobile homes on it in an attempt to confiscate it.
At 12:50, a group of settlers in the Tel Rumeida neighborhood in the old city of Hebron attacked the home of the family of the citizen: Riyad Abu Hazaa.
• At 19:00 on 26/08/2014, the permanent and comprehensive ceasefire came into effect with the initiative and patronage of the Arab Republic of Egypt, after reaching understandings to open the crossings, the introduction of humanitarian and relief aid and reconstruction requirements, and expanding the fishing area to a distance of 6 miles with the increase in distance Up to 12 miles by the end of this year, reducing the "security buffer" zone from 300 meters to 100 meters, freedom of movement and preventing assassinations. Other issues, including the airport and the port, will be negotiated within a month of the ceasefire.
• On the morning of June 28, 2019, the occupation forces allowed the expansion of the fishing distance from opposite the Al-Waha area northwest of the town of Beit Lahiya in the northern Gaza governorate and up to the Gaza port by a distance of 6 nautical miles, and from opposite the Gaza port to the south of the coast of Rafah to 15 nautical miles.
• On 01/09/2020, the occupation forces re-expanded the fishing distance from the front of the Al-Waha area northwest of the town of Beit Lahia in the northern Gaza governorate and up to the Gaza port by a distance of 6 nautical miles, and from opposite the Gaza port to the south of the coast of Rafah to 15 nautical miles. After it imposed on 08/16/2020 a complete closure on the maritime domain in front of the fishermen's boats in front of the Gaza Strip.
• On 10/05/2021, the Israeli occupation forces closed the sea of the Gaza Strip, in front of fishermen until further notice.
• At 02:00 on 21/05/2021, the comprehensive ceasefire came into effect with the initiative and patronage of the Arab Republic of Egypt.
* Beit Hanoun Crossing - "Erez": On 05/29/2021 is closed.
* Al-Muntar-Karni crossing: closed since 02/03/2011, permanently and by a unilateral Israeli decision.
* Shejaiya Crossing - “Nahal Oz” for fuel: closed since 04. 01. 2010, by unilateral Israeli decision.
* Yasser Arafat International Airport: closed.
* Sofa crossing: closed.
* Kerem Shalom - Kerem Shalom Crossing: On 05/29/2021 is closed.
* Al-Awda- Rafah crossing: on 05/29/2021 closed.
