On 05/18/2021, the Israeli occupation forces positioned near the northern entrance to the city of Al-Bireh and near the entrances to the towns of Sinjil, Aboud, Ni'lin, the villages of Al-Mughayer, Deir Jarir, Kafr Malik, Nabi Salih, Ain Qiniya, Ras Karkar, Kharbatha Bani Harith, Beit Sira and the Jalazun camp fired live ammunition, rubber coated metal bullets, stun and tear gas canisters towards the demonstrators and as a result killed 3 civilians, wounded 72 civilians, and left several others suffocated from tear gas inhalation.

The 3 civilians : Muhammad Mahmoud Hamid, 24 years old - resident of the town of Beit Anan in the Jerusalem governorate, Adham Fayez Al-Kashef 20 years old - residents of the city of Al-Bireh, and Islam Wael Fahmy Barnat, 15 uncle, resident of the town of Ni'lin were killled during clashes with the Israeli occupation forces in the Ramallah governorate are:
