DAILY SITUATION REPORT
08:00, 28th March 2021 -08:00, 29th March 2021
• Since 24:00 on 03/25/2021, the Israeli occupation forces imposed a complete closure on the governorates of the West Bank and Gaza Strip on the occasion of "Passover" holiday for the Jews, and prevented citizens and workers, including those holding permits, from entering Jerusalem and Israel, with the exception of diplomatic and international missions, humanitarian cases and emergency medical services after prior coordination, until 24:00 on 04/03/2021.
1. On the evening of 28/03/2021, the Israeli occupation forces positioned near the settlement of "Maale Adumim" detained the citizen: Ahmad Muhammad Shaban Ghazawi - a resident of Jalazoun camp in Ramallah governorate, under the pretext of attempting to run over a Israeli soldier.
2.At dawn on 29/03/2021, the Israeli occupation forces detained 2 citizens: Mahdi Abu Al-Hawa and Riyadh Karawi after storming their homes in Al-Tur neighborhood in Jerusalem .
At 11:00, the Israeli occupation forces temporarily detained Ikhlas Al-Sayyad - Director of the Women's Center after storming Jabal Al-Zaitoun Club stadium in the Jabal Al-Tour neighborhood in Jerusalem city and released her at a later time and also temporarily detained the citizen, Malik al-Maghribi, and placed him under house arrest for a period of 5 days as a condition for his release.
At 11:00, the Israeli occupation forces stormed the stadium of the Mount of Olives Club in the Jabal Al-Tour neighborhood in Jerusalem, and prevented the participants from holding a party on the occasion of Mother's Day, and temporarily detained the citizen: Ikhlas Al-Sayyad - Director of the Women's Center, and citizen: Malek Al-Maghribi, and released them at a later time.
At 08:30, a group of extremist settlers, under the protection of the occupation police, stormed the courtyards of Al-Aqsa Mosque, and conducted provocative tours in its courtyards and facilities.
1. At 18:10, the Israeli occupation forces set up a checkpoint near the entrance to the settlement of "Ofra", to search cars and verify citizens' identities.
2. At 19:30, the Israeli occupation forces set up a checkpoint at the entrance to the village of Nabi Saleh, to search cars and verify citizens' identities.
At 14:25, a group of settlers entered the lands of citizens in the Mughraqa area, near the village of An-Nazla al-Sharqiya, and withdrew at 15:30.
At 20:20, the Israeli occupation forces in charge of guards of the separation wall near the town of Jayyous fired stun and tear gas canisters towards citizens for alleged stoning.
At 21:45, the Israeli occupation forces closed Beit Furik checkpoint and impeded traffic.
At 20:30, the Israeli occupation forces set up a checkpoint at the "Shafi Shimron" settlement junction, to search cars and verify citizens' identities.
At 12:50, the Israeli occupation forces confiscated a bulldozer owned by the citizen: Shaher Mustafa Al-Qat - residents of Madama village in the village of Burin while it was digging the foundations of an agricultural greenhouse near the village school, under the pretext of its work in an area where work is prohibited.
At 03:30, a group of settlers, traveling in a private vehicle, stormed Nablus city as they attempted to enter (Joseph's Tomb), and fled as soon as they saw the Palestinian Civil Police patrol charged with guarding the grave.
At 21:45, the Israeli occupation forces set up a checkpoint at the entrance to the town of Kafeel Haris, to search cars and verify citizens' identities.
At 11:00, the Israeli occupation forces in the area of Khallet Hassan, near the town of Bidya, prevented citizens from reclaiming their lands, and detained a truck, a bulldozer and an agricultural tractor, and returned it to its owners after the intervention of the Palestinian military coordination liaison.
At 15:20, a group of settlers under the protection of the Israeli occupation forces stormed the agricultural lands owned by citizens in Wadi Susiya area located north of the town of Kafr al-Dik, and withdrew at a later time.
1. At 10:50, the Israeli occupation forces set up a checkpoint near the village of Ein Al-Dyouk, north of Jericho, to search cars and verify citizens' identities.
2. At 11:20, the Israeli occupation forces set up a checkpoint on Al-Maarajat Road (connecting between Jericho and Ramallah governorates), to search cars and verify citizens' identities.
3. At 12:05, the Israeli occupation forces set up a checkpoint at the northern entrance to Jericho city, to search cars and verify citizens' identities.
At 01:30, the Israeli occupation forces raided Aqbat Jaber camp in Jericho, where clashes took place with citizens as they stormed and searched a house then withdrew at 03:00.
At 01:30,the Israeli occupation forces fired rubber-coated metal bullets and tear gas canisters towards several citizens for alleged stoning as they stormed and searched a house a house during their raid into Aqabat Jaber camp in Jericho.
1. At 09:05, the Israeli occupation forces set up a checkpoint near the Al-Nashash area junction (the southern entrance to Bethlehem), to search cars and check citizens' identities until 11:10.
2. At 13:30, the Israeli occupation forces set up a checkpoint at the Nahalin town junction, to search cars and verify citizens' identities until 15:00.
3. At 22:20, the Israeli occupation forces set up a checkpoint at the western entrance to the town of Tuqu ', to search cars and verify citizens' identities until 23:30.
On the evening of 03/28/2021, the Israeli occupation forces positioned in the vicinity of Bilal Bin Rabah Mosque, north of Bethlehem detained 2 citizens (including a child): Muhammad Murad Ishaq Abu Hammad, 13 years old, and Muhammad Fayez Talal Al-Dibs - residents of Aida camp.
At 13:35, a group of settlers in the area of Ghanamah graves in Wadi Habayeb, east of the town of Teque, erected a tent in an attempt to establish a settlement outpost.
• At 19:00 on 26/08/2014, the permanent and comprehensive ceasefire came into effect with the initiative and patronage of the Arab Republic of Egypt, after reaching understandings to open the crossings, the introduction of humanitarian and relief aid and reconstruction requirements, and expanding the fishing area to a distance of 6 miles with the increase in distance Up to 12 miles by the end of this year, reducing the "security buffer" zone from 300 meters to 100 meters, freedom of movement and preventing assassinations. Other issues, including the airport and the port, will be negotiated within a month of the ceasefire.
• On the morning of June 28, 2019, the occupation forces allowed the expansion of the fishing distance from opposite the Al-Waha area northwest of the town of Beit Lahiya in the northern Gaza governorate and up to the Gaza port by a distance of 6 nautical miles, and from opposite the Gaza port to the south of the coast of Rafah to 15 nautical miles.
• On 01/09/2020, the occupation forces re-expanded the fishing distance from the front of the Al-Waha area northwest of the town of Beit Lahia in the northern Gaza governorate and up to the Gaza port by a distance of 6 nautical miles, and from opposite the Gaza port to the south of the coast of Rafah to 15 nautical miles. After it imposed on 08/16/2020 a complete closure on the maritime domain in front of the fishermen's boats in front of the Gaza Strip.
* Beit Hanoun Crossing - "Erez": On 03/28 2021 is closed (except for the passage of emergency humanitarian cases).
* Al-Muntar-Karni crossing: closed since 02/03/2011, permanently and by a unilateral Israeli decision.
* Shejaiya Crossing - “Nahal Oz” for fuel: closed since 04. 01. 2010, by unilateral Israeli decision.
* Yasser Arafat International Airport: closed.
* Sufa Crossing: closed.
* Kerem Shalom Crossing - “Kerem Shalom”: on 28/03/2021, partially open (for the entry of foodstuffs, goods, building materials, and limited quantities of fuel).
* Al-Awda- Rafah crossing: on 28/03/2021, is open in both directions (for the entry and departure of citizens).
