WEST BANK

JERUSALEM

Flying Checkpoints

At 12:45, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the entrance of Biddu town then searched residents and vehicles until 16:30.

Detention

1. On March 23rd 2017, Israeli forces in Jerusalem city detained Mohammad Jamal Ayad {A resident of Abu Dis town} for allegdly entering the city with out a entry permit.
2. At 18:30, Israeli forces detained Hamza Nasser Mihlis {A resident of the old city of Jerusalem}.
3. At 23:20, Israeli forces positioned at Jaba' military checkpoint detained Thaer Rimawi {A resident of Beit Rima town in Ramallah and Al-Bireh district}.

Attack

1. At 12:45, Israeli forces positioned near Al-Magharba gate {A Main gate entrance leading to Al-Aqsa mosque compound} in the old city of Jerusalem fired stun and tear gas canisters towards several residents for alleged stoning.
2. At 13:00, Israeli forces positioned near the North junction of Al-Ram town fired rubber coated steel bullets, stun and tear gas canisters towards several residents for alleged stoning.
3. At 20:00, Israeli forces positioned in Abu Dis town fired stun and tear gas canisters towards several residents for alleged stoning.

RAMALLAH & AL BIREH

Flying Checkpoints

At 16:25 and again at 22:25, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint near Atara town bridge then searched residents and vehicles and detained a resident.

Raid

At 17:40, Israeli forces raided Silwad town, clashed with several residents , detained a resident then withdrew at 19:00.

Detention

1. Israeli forces positioned at a Military checkpoint near Atarah town bridge detained Ahmad Hassan Al-Tamimi {A resident of Abboud town}.
2. Israeli forces detained Ahmad Fathi Qadri in Silwad town.

Demonstrations

1.At 10:00, a demonstration took place in Al-Qabboun area located near Al-Mughayer village protesting against Israeli settlers who built live stock dens in an attempt to create a new settlement outpost during which demonstrators clashed with Israeli forces and as a result injured 5 residents.
2. At 10:20, a demonstration took place in Bil'in town protesting agianst the construction of the wall.
3. At 10:20, a demonstration took place in Ni'lin town protesting agianst the construction of the wall during which demonstrators clashed with Israeli forces.

Attack

1. At 10:00, Israeli forces positioned at Al-Qabboun area located near Al-Mughayer village fired live ammunition, rubber coated steel bullets, stun and tear gas canisters towards several residents during demonstrations protesting against Israeli settlers who built live stock dens in an attempt to create a new settlement outpost and as a result injured 5 residents.
2. At 10:20, Israeli forces in Ni'lin fired stun and tear gas canisters towards several residents for alleged stoning during demonstrations against the construction of the wall.
3. At 12:30, Israeli forces positioned near Al-Jalazoun camp fired rubber coated steel bullets, stun and tear gas canisters towards several residents for alleged stoning and as a result injured a child.
4. At 17:40, Israeli forces fired stun and tear gas canisters towards several residents for alleged stoning during their raid into Silwad town.

Injuries

1. Israeli forces injured 5 residents: Moath Abu Ali, Mujahid Jawad Abu Alia, Iyad Naeem Abu Alia, Munther Adel Al Nansan and Ghazi Al Na'san during clashes as resiednts were protesting against Israeli settlers who built live stock dens in an attempt to create a new settlement outpost in Al-Qabboun area located near Al-Mughayer village .
2. Israeli forces injured Suliman Yahya Qaddura {17 years old} during clashes near Al-Jalazoun camp.

Temporary Detention

At 17:40, Israeli forces temporarily detained the child Ahmad Thaer Affouri {12 years old}{A resident of Sinjil town} near the main road in Sinjil town then released him at a later time.

TULKAREM

Military Checkpoints

At 15:20, Israeli forces intensified their restrictions at "Enav" military checkpoint and impeded the free flow of traffic until 16:15.

Raid

1. At 15:40 and again at 22:05, Israeli forces raided Quffin town, clashed with several residents, stormed and searched several home then withdrew at 23:15.
2. At 01:05, Israeli forces raided Baqa Al-Sharqiya town, stormed and searched a home then withdrew at 05:00.

Attack

At 15:40, Israeli forces fired stun and tear gas canisters towards several residents for alleged stoning during their raid into Quffin town.

QALQILIYA

Flying Checkpoints

At 16:50, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the east entrance of Qalqiliya city then searched residents and vehicles.

Demonstrations

At 12:50, a demonstration took place in Kafr Qaddum village protesting agianst the continued closure of the east entrance during which Israeli forces fired rubber coated steel bullets, stun and tear gas canisters towards demonstrators preventing them from reaching the site.

Attack

At 12:50, Israeli forces fired rubber coated steel bullets, stun and tear gas canisters towards demonstrators during clashes in Kafr Qaddum village.

NABLUS

Flying Checkpoints

1. At 08:30, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the entrance of Beit Furiq town then searched residents and vehicles until 11:30.
2. At 16:35, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint near "Shave Shamron" settlement junction then searched residents and vehicles until 17:30.
3. At 18:20, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint near Tel village then searched residents and vehicles until 20:00.

Raid

At 11:45, Israeli forces raided Beit Furiq town, clashed with several residents then withdrew at 13:00.

Temporary Detention

At 21:30, Israeli forces positioned along the main road near Salem village junction temporarily detained 2 residents:
Zakaria Najah Ashtiyeh, Dauod Ahmed Ashtiyeh then released them at 19:00.

Attack

At 11:45, Israeli forces fired stun and tear gas canisters towards several residents for alleged stoning during their raid into Beit Furiq town.

JERICHO

Flying Checkpoints

1. At 13:15, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the south entrance of Jericho city then searched residents and vehicles until 15:00.
2. At 16:25, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the North entrance of Jericho city then searched residents and vehicles until 17:50.

BETHLEHEM

Flying Checkpoints

1. At 18:00, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint near Al-Nashash area junction {located at the south entrance of Bethlehem city}, detained a resident and summoned Malik Ahmad Mohammad Assad {A resident of Al-Doha town} to report to Israeli Intelligence for questioning then withdrew at 19:15.
2. At 19:00, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the west entrance of Teqou' town then searched residents and vehicles until 21:00.

Detention

Israeli forces positioned at a checkpoint near Al-Nashash area junction {located at the south entrance of Bethlehem city} detained Usayed Hassan Ahmad Al-Waradin {A resident of Bethlehem city}.

Attack

1. At 13:50, Israeli forces positioned at the entrance of Teqou' town fired stun and tear gas canisters towards several residents for alleged stoning.
2. At 16:45, Israeli forces positioned at the vicinity of Bilal Bin Rabah mosque {located in North Bethlehem city} fired stun and tear gas canisters towards several residents for alleged stoning.

HEBRON

Attack

1. At 18:00, Israeli forces positioned at Al-Duwarat area located near Sa'ir town fired stun and tear gas canisters towards several residents for alleged stoning.
2. At 18:45, Israeli forces positioned in south Hebron city fired stun and tear gas canisters towards several residents for alleged stoning.

GAZA STRIP

ALL DISTRICTS

• Since 19:00 on August 26th 2014, Palestinian Gunmen and the Israeli military agreed to a cease fire agreement (brokered by the Arab Republic of Egypt) which includes the opening of border crossings to allow the entry of emergency supplies and humanitarian goods as well as construction material and agreed to increase the fishing limit to 6 nautical miles with possibility of increase to 12 nautical miles by the end of the year and to decrease the Military area to 100 meters, allow freedom of movement and a halt to targeted killings and assassinations and negotiations will be held for discussion on rebuilding the seaport and airports and on May 4th 2017, Israeli authorities increased the fishing limit to 9 nautical miles from Wadi Gaza until the south border of the Gaza stripe and on June 26th 2017 Israeli forces decreased the fishing limit back to 6 nautical miles and on October 17th 2017, Israeli forces increased the fishing limit back to 9 nautical miles and on December 12th 2017 reduced fishing area from 9 nautical miles to 6 nautical miles south of Wadi Gaza and opposite to Rafah.
•The Israeli Military broke the ceasefire agreement by opening fire their positions behind the Green Line towards North Gaza, Gaza and Khan Yunis district.

NORTHERN GAZA

Closure of Crossing Points

* Beit Hanun (Erez) crossing is partially open for the passage of critical patients, journalists, NGO staff, businesspersons and passengers travelling abroad through Al-Karama crossing with previous coordination.

Attack

At 16:30 on March 24th 2017, Israeli forces positioned behind the Green Line opened fire towards demonstrators located in North Beit Lahiya town as they were protesting agianst the Israeli military attack agianst civilians and Israeli settler attacks on Al-Aqsa mosque compound and residents.

GAZA

Closure of Crossing Points

* Al-Muntar (Karni) Crossing is closed. Beginning on 02 March 2011, the Crossing has been effectively closed following a unilateral Israeli decision.
* Al-Shija’iya (Nahal ‘Oz) Crossing is closed. Beginning on 04 January 2010, the Crossing has closed following a unilateral Israeli decision.

Attack

At 15:30 on March 24th 2017, Israeli forces positioned behind the Green Line opened fire towards demonstrators located in Al-Shija’iya (Nahal ‘Oz) Crossing located in east Al-Shija’iya neighborhood in east Gaza city as they were protesting agianst the Israeli military attack agianst civilians and Israeli settler attacks on Al-Aqsa mosque compound and residents.

KHAN YUNIS

Attack

At 09:30 on March 24th 2017, Israeli forces positioned behind the Green Line opened fire towards agricultural land in east Al-Fakhari town.

RAFAH

Closure of Crossing Points

* Yasser ‘Arafat International Airport remains closed.
* Rafah (Al ‘Awdah) Crossing is closed.
* Sufa Crossing is closed.
* Karm Abu Salem (Karem Shalom) Crossing is closed.
