DAILY SITUATION REPORT
08:00, 23rd June 2021 -08:00, 24th June 2021
1. At 07:30 on 06/23/2021, the Israeli occupation forces positioned at Al-Zaytouna checkpoint detained citizen: Rola Badawi Al-Khatib - a resident of Al-Eizariya town, on the pretext that a knife was found in her possession.
2. At 08:00, the Israeli occupation forces detained the citizen: Ali Attia - residents of Sheikh Jarrah neighborhood in Jerusalem.
3. At 08:30, the Israeli occupation forces detained the citizen: Abd Fayez Zaitoun - a resident of Silwan neighborhood in Jerusalem.
4. On 06/23/2021, the Israeli occupation forces detained in the courtyards of Al-Aqsa Mosque detained the citizenship: Badia Brijieh - a resident of the city of Bethlehem.
5. At 20:30, the Israeli occupation forces detained 3 citizens (brothers): Abdel Fattah Al-Fakhouri, and his two brothers, Anan, and Saeb in Bab Hutta area in the Old City of Jerusalem.
1. At 20:00, the Israeli occupation forces positioned in the town of Abu Dis fired rubber-coated metal bullets, stun and tear gas canisters towards demonstrators, demanding the return of the body of May Afana - a resident of the town - (who was killed while driving her vehicle near the entrance to the town of Hizma and Israeli forces seized her corpse}, and as a result, a number of citizens suffocated due to inhalation of tear gas.
2. At 20:30, the Israeli occupation forces, in the Silwan neighborhood of Jerusalem, rubber-coated metal bullets, stun and tear gas canisters towards the citizens for alleged stoning.
On 23/06/2021, the Israeli occupation authorities in the village of Al-Isawiya demolished the last floor of two residential apartments (under construction) of a residential building owned by the citizen: Mustafa Alyan, on the pretext of not having a license.
At 08:30, a group of extremist settlers, under the protection of the Israeli occupation police, stormed the courtyards of Al-Aqsa Mosque, and made provocative tours of its courtyards and facilities.
At 18:10, the Israeli occupation forces set up a checkpoint at the entrance to Ras Karkar village, to search cars and check the identities of the citizens.
At 10:55, the Israeli occupation forces demolished tents used for housing and live stock den owned by: Muhammad Taha Maatan near Burqa village.
1. At 14:20, a group of settlers entered the lands of the citizens of the village of Kafr Malik, and set fire to large areas of agricultural land.
2. At 00:30, a group of settlers set fire to a container and a factory vehicle (under construction) between the town of Turmus’aya and the village of Al-Mughayer, owned by the two citizens: Iyad Al-Nabali and Firas Al-Na’asan.
1. At 08:00, the Israeli occupation forces raided the town of Al-Saila Al-Harithiya, and the villages of Ta'anak, Deir Ghazala and Kafr Dan, and they patrolled until 11:45.
2. At 09:50, the Israeli occupation forces raided the town of Barta'a al-Sharqiya, and detained a citizen.
3. At 19:10, the Israeli occupation forces raided the town of Ya'bad, and patrolled until 05:50.
The detainee in the town of Barta'a Al Sharqiah is: Sameh Anwar Ali Qabha.
At 09:40, the Israeli occupation forces tightened their procedures at Tayseer checkpoint, and obstructed traffic.
At 08:40, the Israeli occupation forces raided the towns of Qafin, Baqa al-Sharqiya, Zeta, Attil, and the villages of Nazlet Abu al-Nar and Nazlet Issa, and conducted a patrol.
At 13:45, the Israeli occupation forces set up a checkpoint near the junction of the "Kedumim" settlement, to search cars and check the identities of citizens.
At 02:30, the Israeli occupation forces raided the city of Qalqilya, and detained 2 civilians.
The two detainees in Qalqilya are: Amin Shaath and Shadi Abu Shareb.
At 20:45, the Israeli occupation forces set up a checkpoint near the junction of the "Shafi Shomron" settlement, to search cars and check citizens' identities.
1. At 11:00, the Israeli occupation forces raided the village of Sebastia, and conducted the patrol until 14:20.
2. At 04:10, the Israeli occupation forces raided the town of Beita, and detained 2 civilians.
3. At 04:50, the Israeli occupation forces raided the village of Burin and detained a citizen.
1. At 17:00, the Israeli occupation forces positioned at one of the military checkpoints detained the citizen: Osaid Omar Mahmoud Abdullah - a resident of Tal village.
2. At 23:20,the Israeli occupation forces detained 2 children: Ahmed Mahmoud Odeh, 15 years old, and Zaid Fouad Odeh, 15 years old {both are residents of Hawara town}.
3. The two detainees in the town of Beita are: Sufian Ribhi Saeed Daoud and Muhannad Hamdallah Dweikat.
4. The detainee in the village of Burin is: Ahmed Muhammad Omran.
At 19:35, the Israeli occupation forces fired rubber-coated metal bullets, stun and tear gas towards citizens participating in a demonstration against settlers’ attacks and land confiscation in favor of establishing a settlement outpost in the village of Beit Dajan and as a result left several citizens suffocated from inhalation of tear gas.
The wounded man during confrontations with the Israeli occupation forces in the village of Beit Dajan is: Munther Fahmy Salim Khatatbeh.
On 06/23/ 2021, the Israeli occupation forces closed all roads leading to the Jabal Sabih area in the town of Beita, with earth mounds and rocks.
1. At 18:50, the Israeli occupation forces set up a checkpoint at the entrance to the town of Kafr ad-Dik, to search cars and check the identities of the citizens.
2. At 18:50, the Israeli occupation forces set up a checkpoint at the entrance to the town of Deir Ballut, to search cars and check the identities of the citizens.
At 02:15, the Israeli occupation forces raided the town of Al-Zawiya, and detained a National Security Force officer.
1. At 23:00, the Israeli occupation forces detained 2 citizens (brothers) near the apartheid wall near the town of Al-Zawiya: Moataz Nabil Mutlaq Shaqour, and his brother Mutlaq.
2. The detainee in the town of Al-Zawiya is: Al-Askari - Khalil Youssef Abdel Karim Shaqour.
At 19:30, the Israeli occupation forces set up a checkpoint on the Al-Maarjat road (connecting between the governorates of Jericho and Ramallah), to search cars and check the identities of citizens.
At 11:30, the Israeli occupation forces raided the city of Jericho and conducted a patrol.
At 08:50, the Israeli occupation forces set up a checkpoint near the junction of the Nashash area (the southern entrance to Bethlehem), to search cars and check the identities of citizens.
1. At 17:55, the Israeli occupation forces raided the town of Al-Khader and conducted a patrol.
2. At 02:50, the Israeli occupation forces raided Bethlehem and Janata, and detined 2 civilians.
The two detainees in the city of Bethlehem are: Ahmed Atta Al-Herimi and Saad Abdullah Nawara.
1. At 01:00, the Israeli occupation forces raided the city of Hebron, and patrolled until 03:20.
2. At 02:00, the Israeli occupation forces raided the town of Beit Ummar, and detained 3 civilians.
3. At 03:40, the Israeli occupation forces raided the town of Ithna and conducted a patrol.
The 3 detainees in the town of Beit Ummar are: Mohsen Muhammad Zaqeq, Khaled Mahmoud Salibi, and Waheed Hamdi Zamel Abu Maria.
At 09:00, the Israeli occupation forces swept the agricultural roads linking the areas of Khallet al-Dabaa and Shaab al-Butm with their surroundings from al-Kharbar, east of Yatta town, and closed them with earth mounds.
• At 19:00 on 26/08/2014, the permanent and comprehensive ceasefire came into effect with the initiative and patronage of the Arab Republic of Egypt, after reaching understandings to open the crossings, the introduction of humanitarian and relief aid and reconstruction requirements, and expanding the fishing area to a distance of 6 miles with the increase in distance Up to 12 miles by the end of this year, reducing the "security buffer" zone from 300 meters to 100 meters, freedom of movement and preventing assassinations. Other issues, including the airport and the port, will be negotiated within a month of the ceasefire.
• On the morning of June 28, 2019, the occupation forces allowed the expansion of the fishing distance from opposite the Al-Waha area northwest of the town of Beit Lahiya in the northern Gaza governorate and up to the Gaza port by a distance of 6 nautical miles, and from opposite the Gaza port to the south of the coast of Rafah to 15 nautical miles.
• On 01/09/2020, the occupation forces re-expanded the fishing distance from the front of the Al-Waha area northwest of the town of Beit Lahia in the northern Gaza governorate and up to the Gaza port by a distance of 6 nautical miles, and from opposite the Gaza port to the south of the coast of Rafah to 15 nautical miles. After it imposed on 08/16/2020 a complete closure on the maritime domain in front of the fishermen's boats in front of the Gaza Strip.
• On 10/05/2021, the Israeli occupation forces closed the sea of the Gaza Strip, in front of fishermen until further notice.
• At 02:00 on 05/21/ 2021, the comprehensive ceasefire entered into force at the initiative and sponsorship of the Arab Republic of Egypt.
* Beit Hanoun crossing - "Erez": on 06/23/ 2021 partially open (for the entry of employees of international organizations, foreign journalists, and critical medical cases).
* Al-Muntar-Karni crossing: closed since 02/03/2011, permanently and by a unilateral Israeli decision.
* Shejaiya Crossing - “Nahal Oz” for fuel: closed since 04. 01. 2010, by unilateral Israeli decision.
* Yasser Arafat International Airport: closed.
* Sofa crossing: closed.
* Kerem Shalom - Kerem Shalom Crossing: On 23/06/2021, it is partially open (for the entry of foodstuffs and fodder, and limited quantities of fuel).
* Al-Awda- Rafah crossing: on 23/06/2021 is open in both directions (for citizens to leave and enter).
