WEST BANK

JERUSALEM

Closure (per District)

1. On June 17th 2016, The Israeli army intensified their restrictions at the entrance to Jerusalem city, set up several flying checkpoints on the main road leading to the city and prevented worshipers from conducting prayers at Al-Aqsa mosque compound which forced residents to conduct prayers near checkpoints located outside Al-Aqsa mosque compound.
2. The Israeli army continues to close the ‘demarcation area’ along the Wall in the area surrounding occupied East Jerusalem and restricts access to local residents as well as to civilians holding special permits.
3. The Israeli army continues to impose a blockade and deny civilian access to a hill between Biddu and Beit Iksa villages.

Closure of Roads

1. The Israeli army continues to close with cement blocks and dirt mounds the entrance to Jaba’ village.
2. The Israeli army continues to close with an iron gate the eastern entrance to Beit Iksa village and forces civilians to access Jerusalem city through Qalandiya checkpoint.
3. At 09:30 on June 17th 2016, Israeli forces closed the main road leading to Jabal Al-Mukabbir town with cement blocks.

Military Checkpoints

1. Israeli authorities continue to consider Qalandiya checkpoint a “border crossing point” and designate a special crossing lane for holders of Jerusalem IDs and another for those possessing permits to access Jerusalem city.
2. On September 19th 2012, Israeli forces closed Ras Khamis checkpoint near Shu ‘fat camp and impeded the free flow of traffic in order to construct the wall.

Flying Checkpoints

At 10:00, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the entrance of Al-Isawiya town then searched residents and vehicles.

Raid

At 01:45, Israeli forces raided Abu Dis and Al-Eizariya towns until 05:30.

Detention

1. At 08:00 on June 17th 2016, Israeli forces detained Mohammed Al-Ramlawi after assaulting him in Jerusalem city.
2. At 09:50, Israeli forces positioned at Qalandiya checkpoint detained Suhier Ahmad Mahmoud Basharat (20 years old) {A resident of Tammoun town in Tubas district} as he was travelling to Al-Aqsa mosque compound in the old city of Jerusalem.
3. At 14:40, Israeli forces positioned at Qalandiya checkpoint detained Subhi Zuhier Subhi Jawabra (A resident of Al-Ein camp in Nablus district).
4. At 17:20, Israeli forces detained Rafeeqa Hamza Nimr Gharabah (21 years old) {A resident of Qabatiya town in Jenin district}.

Closure of Wall Gates

1. The Israeli army continues to close with cement blocks the Wall gate in Abu Dis town.
2. The Israeli army continues to deny civilian access through the Wall gate on Al-Shayyah road in the area between Al-Sawahira Al-Sharqiya and Al-Slewahira Al-Gharbiya villages, only allowing civilians holding Jerusalem IDs to cross, after subjecting them to thorough searches using electronic devices.

RAMALLAH & AL BIREH

Closure of Roads

The Israeli army continues to close the entrances to Sinjil village well as the junction to Kafr Malik and ‘Ein Samiya villages.

Flying Checkpoints

1. At 06:30, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at Ein Sinya village junction then searched residents and vehicles.
2. At 06:30, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at Atarah town bridge then searched residents and vehicles until 08:15.

Demonstrations

1. At 13:20, a demonstration took place in Bil’in village protesting against the construction of the wall during which they clashed with Israeli forces and as a result suffocated several residents from tear gas inhalation.
2. At 13:20, a demonstration took place in Ni’lin protesting against the construction of the wall during which they clashed with Israeli forces and as a result left several residents suffocated from tear gas inhalation.
3. At 13:20, a demonstration took place in Al-Nabi Saleh village a demonstration took place in protesting against confiscation of land for the purpose of settlement construction during which they clashed with Israeli forces and as a result suffocated several residents from tear gas inhalation.

Attack

Israeli forces clashed with residents in Bil’in, Ni’lin and Al-Nabi Saleh villages.

Settlers Violence

At 06:30, a group of Israeli settlers positioned near "Ofra" settlement stoned residents and vehicles travelling along the main road and as a result damaged several vehicles.

Assaults on Property

Several vehicles were damaged as a result of Israeli settler stoning attack near "Ofra" settlement.

JENIN

Closure (per District)

On December 24th 2015, Israeli forces closed off the area {900m wide and 100m long} along the main road connecting Jenin and Tulkarem leading to south Ya’bad and installed a barbed wire fence around the area and declared the area a closed military zone.

Closure of Roads

The Israeli army continues to close with dirt mounds the road leading to the town of ‘Arraba east of the illegal settlement Dotan.

Closure of Wall Gates

Israeli forces continue to close the wall gate and only allow those holding special permits to enter through it.

TUBAS

Closure of Roads

Since 12:30 on March 15th 2016, Israeli forces closed the east entrance of Al-Aqaba village with cement blocks.

TULKAREM

Military Checkpoints

Israeli forces continue to intensify their restrictions at “Eniv” checkpoint located along the main road connecting Tulkarem and Nablus and impeded the free flow of traffic.

QALQILIYA

Closure of Roads

1. Israeli forces continue to close with cement blocks agricultural roads east of Azzun town.
2. In addition to closing the gate installed since the outbreak the second Intifada, the Israeli army continues to close with dirt mounds the eastern entrance to Kafr Qaddum village.
3. Since 10:40 on September 1st 2015, Israeli forces closed an agricultural road leading to Far’ata village which is located near “Gillad” settlement with a steel Gate.

Raid

At 19:50, Israeli forces raided Magharat Al-Dab'a village located in south Qalqilya city, ran over Hamza Abdallah Awisat and detained 3 residents.

Injuries

Israeli military vehicles ran over Hamza Abdallah Awisat during their raid into Magharat Al-Dab'a village

Detention

Israeli forces detained 3 residents: Ayed Hussein Odeh (22 years old), Muhieb Othaman Abdel-Qadder Odeh (19 years old) and Mohammad Abdullah Abdel-Azziz in Magharat Al-Dab'a village.

Demonstrations

At 13:35, a demonstration took place in Kafr Qaddum against the closure of the east entrance during which they clashed with Israeli forces tried to disrupt the demonstration by firing live ammunition, rubber coated steel bullets, stun and tear gas grenades towards demonstrators who attempted to reach they demonstration site and left several residents suffocating from tear gas inhalation

Israeli forces clashed with demonstrators in Kafr Qaddum.

Closure of Wall Gates

1. The Israeli army continues to restrict access at ‘Azzun ‘Atma Wall gate and impeded the free flow of traffic. The Israeli army continues to close with an iron gate the entrance to the village of Wadi Al- Rasha and to deny civilian access.
2. The Israeli army allows residents to access the village through Gate #109. Having removed the gate at the entrance to the village of Ras Atiya; the Israeli army only allows students to cross to their schools outside the village through the Habla gate.

NABLUS

Closure

Since December 17th 2013, Israeli forces ordered the closure 500 dunumes of land in Qusra village as a closed military area.

Closure of Roads

1. 1. The Israeli army continues to close the northern entrance to Qabalan town; the southern entrances to the town of Jamma’in and the villages of Duma and Qaryut.
2. Since 06:30 on November 22nd 2015, Israeli forces closed the main road connecting Aqraba and Yanoun village with dirt mounds.
3. Since 13:00 on December 1st 2015, Israeli forces closed the main road connecting Tel village and the bypass road near “Yitsahar” settlement and installed a steel gate in the area.

4. Since 18:45 on June 6th 2016, Israeli forces closed the main road connecting Awarta and Odala villages with dirt mounds.
5. At 23:53 on June 17th 2016, Israeli forces closed the main road connecting Huwara and Beita towns with dirt mounds.

Raid

At 16:50, Israeli forces raided Iraq Burin village located in south Nablus city.

Settlers Attacks

1.At 07:00, a group of Israeli settlers riding in 2 vehicles stormed Josephs Tomb area in Nablus city and as a result one of the vehicles ran over a Palestinian Police officer as he was guarding the site.
2. At 14:55, a group of Israeli settlers gathered near "Yitzhar" settlement junction and near a mosque located along the main road leading to Huwara town.
3.At 15:00, a group of Israeli settlers stormed Iraq Burin village located in south Nablus city.

SALFIT

Closure of main Roads

1. The Israeli army continues to close with dirt mounds the entrance to two detour roads connecting Marda village to its farmland.
2. Since 11:00 on July 30th 2012, Israeli forces have closed two roads leading to Abu Nasar and Qatan Al-Jama’ located in western area of Deir Istiya with cement blocks.

Israeli forces continue to intensify their restrictions at Za’tara checkpoint and impeded the free flow of traffic.

Raid

At 16:45, Israeli forces raided Kafr Ad Dik town until 17:30.

JERICHO

Military Checkpoints

Israeli forces continue to intensify their restrictions at Al-Hamra checkpoint set up along the road connecting Jericho and Nablus District and impeded the free flow of traffic.

BETHLEHEM

Closure

1. The Israeli army continues to close roads to An Nu’man village, with the exception of the road leading to the Wall gate in the south-eastern area of the village.
2. Since 15 September 2007, the Israel army has prevented civilians from accessing or staying on 22 dunums of confiscated land in Al Mazmuriya area in Beit Sahur and Bethlehem cities.

Closure of main Roads

1. The Israeli army continues to close the Beit Jala-Wadi Ahmed road; a road between Um Tuba and Al-Jass ; a road between Um Tuba and Khilat Nu’man: a road between Um Tuba and the wall; a road between Al-Khas village and the wall; the 2 by pass roads located south of Al-Walaja; a road between Talita Qumi and Nazlat Al-Sider in Beit Jala; the eastern road of Al-Khader; the road between Al-Khader and Beit Jala ; Wadi Rahal road near “Ifrat” settlement ,the road between Al-Khader and road #60 which lead to the eastern neighbourhoods of Bethlehem; a road leading to Wadi Rahal, and a road east of Beit Fajjar town with dirt mounds.
2. Since 10:45 on September 8th 2015, Israeli forces closed the agricultural road located in Arab Al-Rashaydeh village located near “Malee Amous” settlement with dirt mounds.
3. Since May 8th 2013, Israeli forces closed the road connecting Al-Carmisan area in Beit Jalla and Al-Walaja with a steel gate and barbed wires.

Flying Checkpoints

1.At 17:10, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint near the District Coordination Offices (DCO) in Beit Jalah city then searched residents and vehicles.
2. At 20:00, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint near Hulwah area located in east Bethlehem then searched residents and vehicles until 02:45.

Raid

At 17:00, Israeli forces raided Al-Walaja village.

HEBRON

Closure

1. The Israeli army continues to close Khuzq Al-Far areas, as well as the old gold market in Hebron’s Old City. In addition to closing the entrance to Al-Qeisi neighbourhood, the Israeli army continues to close the entrances to the area of Al-Hisba (the fruits and vegetables market) with an electronic gate; Al-Laban Market also remains closed.
2. Since 05 January 2009, the Israeli army has closed the area located along the Green Line south of the town of Yatta. Having seized land for Wall construction, the Israeli army evicted the Palestinian residents and denied them access to the area.

1. At 08:10, Israeli forces raided Surif town and detained 2 residents.
2. At 02:05, Israeli forces raided Yatta town, stormed and searched several homes then withdrew at 04:20.
3. At 04:00, Israeli forces raided Jabr neighborhood in Hebron city and detained 2 residents.

Detention

1. Israeli forces detained 2 residents: Ra'fat Jibril Abu Farat (29 years old) and Mohammad Ibrahim Abu Farat (52 years old) in Surif town.

Israeli forces detained 2 residents: Mohammad Thaher Jaber and Ihab Abu Irmeleh in Hebron.

GAZA STRIP

ALL DISTRICTS

• Since 19:00 on August 26th 2014, Palestinian Gunmen and the Israeli military agreed to a cease fire agreement (brokered by the Arab Republic of Egypt) which includes the opening of border crossings to allow the entry of emergency supplies and humanitarian goods as well as construction material and agreed to increase the fishing limit to 6 nautical miles with possibility of increase to 12 nautical miles by the end of the year and to decrease the Military area to 100 meters, allow freedom of movement and a halt to targeted killings and assassinations and negotiations will be held for discussion on rebuilding the seaport and airports in the coming month.
• The Israeli Military broke the ceasefire agreement by opening fire from their positions behind the Green Line towards Khan Yunis .
• Israeli Naval forces broke the ceasefire agreement by opening fire towards Palestinian fishing boats off the shores of Khan Yunis and Rafah.

NORTHERN GAZA

Closure of Crossing Points

* Beit Hanun (Erez) is open for the passage of critical patients, journalists, NGO staff, businesspersons and passengers travelling abroad through Al-Karama crossing with previous coordination.

* Al-Muntar (Karni) Crossing is closed. Beginning on 02 March 2011, the Crossing has been effectively closed following a unilateral Israeli decision.
* Al-Shija’iya (Nahal ‘Oz) Crossing is closed. Beginning on 04 January 2010, the Crossing has closed following a unilateral Israeli decision.

KHAN YUNIS

Attack

1.At 23:50 on June 17th 2016, Israeli forces positioned behind the Green Line opened fire towards Khuza'a and Khan Yunis.
2. At 01:35 on June 18th 2016, Israeli forces positioned behind the Green Line opened fire towards Khan Yunis.
3. At 01:35 on June 18th 2016, Israeli Naval vessels opened fire towards Palestinian fishing boats off the shores of west Khan Yunis city.

RAFAH

At 01:30 on June 18th 2016, Israeli Naval vessels opened fire towards Palestinian fishing boats off the shores of west Rafah city.
