WEST BANK

JERUSALEM

Closure (per District)

1. On June 15th 2016, The Israeli army intensified their restrictions at the entrance to Jerusalem city, set up several flying checkpoints on the main road leading to the city and prevented worshipers from conducting prayers at Al-Aqsa mosque compound which forced residents to conduct prayers near checkpoints located outside Al-Aqsa mosque compound.
2. The Israeli army continues to close the ‘demarcation area’ along the Wall in the area surrounding occupied East Jerusalem and restricts access to local residents as well as to civilians holding special permits.
3. The Israeli army continues to impose a blockade and deny civilian access to a hill between Biddu and Beit Iksa villages.

Closure of Roads

1. The Israeli army continues to close with cement blocks and dirt mounds the entrance to Jaba’ village.
2. The Israeli army continues to close with an iron gate the eastern entrance to Beit Iksa village and forces civilians to access Jerusalem city through Qalandiya checkpoint.

Military Checkpoints

1. Israeli authorities continue to consider Qalandiya checkpoint a “border crossing point” and designate a special crossing lane for holders of Jerusalem IDs and another for those possessing permits to access Jerusalem city.
2. On September 19th 2012, Israeli forces closed Ras Khamis checkpoint near Shu ‘fat camp and impeded the free flow of traffic in order to construct the wall.

At 19:00, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the entrance of Anata town then searched residents and vehicles.

Raid

1. At 19:40, Israeli forces raided Abu Dis town until 02:55.
2. At 02:45, Israeli forces raided Ras Al-Amoud area, fired rubber coated steel bullets, stun and tear gas grenades as they clashed with several residents.
3. At 02:30, Israeli forces raided Hizma town, stormed a home then detained a resident.

1. At 08:00, Israeli forces positioned in Al-Aqsa mosque compound in the old city of Jerusalem detained Mahmoud Abu Irmeleh {A Security guard at the compound}
2. At 19:30, Israeli forces positioned along the main road in Mukhmas town detained 2 residents: Shadi Mohammad Mahmoud Abu Ali and Fayez Fouza Abu Ali.
3. Israeli forces detained Kareem Wassef in Hizma town.

Closure of Wall Gates

1. The Israeli army continues to close with cement blocks the Wall gate in Abu Dis town.
2. The Israeli army continues to deny civilian access through the Wall gate on Al-Shayyah road in the area between Al-Sawahira Al-Sharqiya and Al-Slewahira Al-Gharbiya villages, only allowing civilians holding Jerusalem IDs to cross, after subjecting them to thorough searches using electronic devices.

RAMALLAH & AL BIREH

Closure of Roads

The Israeli army continues to close the entrances to Sinjil village well as the junction to Kafr Malik and ‘Ein Samiya villages.

Flying Checkpoints

1. At 11:10, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint beneath Silwad town bridge then searched residents and vehicles until 12:10.
2. At 14:50, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint along Atarah town bridge then searched residents and vehicles.
3. At 22:40, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint near Al-Rihan town area located near Surda village hen searched residents and vehicles until 03:10.
4. At 03:10, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the entrance of Beit Ur Al-Foqa village hen searched residents and vehicles.

Raid

1.At 06:20, Israeli forces raided Silwad town, detained 3 residents then withdrew at 07:00.
2. At 02:10, Israeli forces raided Bil'in town, temporarily seized 6 vehicles then returned them after inspection.

Detention

Israeli forces detained 3 residents: Ahmad Sami Wardah (22 years old), Jasser Adnan Jaser (21 years old) and Ahed Abdel-Raheem Hamad (19 years old) in Silwad town.

JENIN

Closure (per District)

Since December 24th 2015, Israeli forces closed off the area {900m wide and 100m long} along the main road connecting Jenin and Tulkarem leading to south Ya’bad and installed a barbed wire fence around the area and declared the area a closed military zone.

Closure of Roads

The Israeli army continues to close with dirt mounds the road leading to the town of ‘Arraba east of the illegal settlement Dotan.

Raid

At 22:25, Israeli forces raided Jaba' town.

Closure of Wall Gates

Israeli forces continue to close the wall gate and only allow those holding special permits to enter through it.

TUBAS

Closure of Roads

Since 12:30 on March 15th 2016, Israeli forces closed the east entrance of Al-Aqaba village with cement blocks.

Confiscation of Property

At 08:20, Israeli forces confiscated a tractor and a water tank owned by Eyad Hafith Daraghmeh in Al-Dier area located in Ein Al-Bayda village.

TULKAREM

Military Checkpoints

At 09:15, Israeli forces intensified their restrictions at “Eniv” checkpoint located along the main road connecting Tulkarem and Nablus and impeded the free flow of traffic until 09:25.

QALQILIYA

Closure of Roads

1. Israeli forces continue to close with cement blocks agricultural roads east of Azzun town.
2. In addition to closing the gate installed since the outbreak the second Intifada, the Israeli army continues to close with dirt mounds the eastern entrance to Kafr Qaddum village.
3. Since 10:40 on September 1st 2015, Israeli forces closed an agricultural road leading to Far’ata village which is located near “Gillad” settlement with a steel Gate.

At 03:00, Israeli forces raided Qalqilya city, stormed and searched a home then detained a resident.

Since December 17th 2013, Israeli forces ordered the closure 500 dunumes of land in Qusra village as a closed military area.

1. The Israeli army continues to close the northern entrance to Qabalan town; the southern entrances to the town of Jamma’in and the villages of Duma and Qaryut.
2. Since 06:30 on November 22nd 2015, Israeli forces closed the main road connecting Aqraba and Yanoun village with dirt mounds.
3. Since 13:00 on December 1st 2015, Israeli forces closed the main road connecting Tel village and the bypass road near “Yitsahar” settlement and installed a steel gate in the area.
4. At 18:45 on June 6th 2016, Israeli forces closed off the main road connecting Awarta and Odala villages with dirt mounds.

1.At 09:50, Israeli forces intensified their restrictions at Huwara checkpoint and impeded the free flow of traffic until 11:00.
2. At 13:25, Israeli forces intensified their restrictions at Beit Furiq checkpoint and impeded the free flow of traffic until 14:00.

Raid

At 02:00, Israeli forces raided Duma village located in south east Nablus city, stormed and searched several homes then withdrew at 05:00.

Temporary Detention

At 01:10, Israeli forces positioned at the entrance of Beita town temporarily detained Mu'tasim Mohammad Mahmoud Radwan (26 years old) {A Taxi Driver}{A resident of Azzun town in Qalqilya district} then released him at a later time.

SALFIT

Closure of Roads

1. 1. The Israeli army continues to close with dirt mounds the entrance to two detour roads connecting Marda village to its farmland.
2. Since 11:00 on July 30th 2012, Israeli forces have closed two roads leading to Abu Nasar and Qatan Al-Jama’ located in western area of Deir Istiya with cement blocks.

Israeli forces continue to intensify their restrictions at Za’tara checkpoint and impeded the free flow of traffic.

Raid

1.At 02:45, Israeli forces raided Al-Zawiya town then stormed several homes.
2.At 03:00, Israeli forces raided Bidya town, stormed and searched several homes then withdrew at 05:10.
3.At 03:30, Israeli forces raided Masahat village, confiscated a vehicle owned by Musa Zuhier Amer then withdrew at 04:50.

JERICHO

Military Checkpoints

Israeli forces continue to intensify their restrictions at Al-Hamra checkpoint set up along the road connecting Jericho and Nablus District and impeded the free flow of traffic.

Raid

At 03:10, Israeli forces raided Ein Al-Sultan camp, detained 3 residents then withdrew at 05:00.

Detention

Israeli forces detained 3 residents: Mohammad Ali Abdel-Azziz Washah (48 years old), Yusef Amer Washah (17 years old) and Sultan Hamad Sa'ed Washah (33 years old) in Ein Al-Sultan camp.

BETHLEHEM

Closure (per District)

1. The Israeli army continues to close roads to An Nu’man village, with the exception of the road leading to the Wall gate in the south-eastern area of the village.
2. Since 15 September 2007, the Israel army has prevented civilians from accessing or staying on 22 dunumes of confiscated land in Al Mazmuriya area in Beit Sahur and Bethlehem cities.

Closure of Roads

1. The Israeli army continues to close the Beit Jala-Wadi Ahmed road; a road between Um Tuba and Al-Jass ; a road between Um Tuba and Khilat Nu’man: a road between Um Tuba and the wall; a road between Al-Khas village and the wall; the 2 by pass roads located south of Al-Walaja; a road between Talita Qumi and Nazlat Al-Sider in Beit Jala; the eastern road of Al-Khader; the road between Al-Khader and Beit Jala ; Wadi Rahal road near “Ifrat” settlement ,the road between Al-Khader and road #60 which lead to the eastern neighbourhoods of Bethlehem; a road leading to Wadi Rahal, and a road east of Beit Fajjar town with dirt mounds.
2. Since 10:45 on September 8th 2015, Israeli forces closed the agricultural road located in Arab Al-Rashaydeh village located near “Malee Amous” settlement with dirt mounds.
3. Since May 8th 2013, Israeli forces closed the road connecting Al-Carmisan area in Beit Jalla and Al-Walaja with a steel gate and barbed wires.

1. At 09:55, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint near Al-Nashash roundabout then searched residents and vehicles.
2. At 22:55, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint near Qabr Hilwah bridge located in east Nablus city then searched sidents and vehicles until 00:10.

Raid

1. At 04:25, Israeli forces raided Ayda camp , temporarily detained 2 residents then withdrew at a later time.
2. At 04:25, Israeli forces raided Bethlehem city, fired rubber coated steel bullets , stun and tear gas grenades as they clashed with several residents and as a result injured Abdel-Qadder Badeer (20 years old){bullet wound to the foot} and Majd Musa Hassan Abu Sarour (16 years old){Bullet wound to the thigh} then proceeded to detained 2 residents and withdrew at 05:30.

Temporary Detention

Israeli forces temporarily detained 2 members of Abu Sarour family in Ayda camp,

Injuries

Israeli forces injured Abdel-Qadder Badeer (20 years old){bullet wound to the foot} and Majd Musa Hassan Abu Sarour (16 years old){Bullet wound to the thigh} during clashes in Bethlehem city.

Attack

Israeli forces clashed with residents in Bethlehem city.

Detention

Israeli forces detained 2 residents: Mohammad Ahmad Salamah Al-Ameer (27 years old){ National Security Force Officer} and Anas Nabhan Mohammed Nasserallah (24 years old) in Bethlehem city.

HEBRON

Closure (per District)

1. The Israeli army continues to close Khuzq Al-Far areas, as well as the old gold market in Hebron’s Old City. In addition to closing the entrance to Al-Qeisi neighbourhood, the Israeli army continues to close the entrances to the area of Al-Hisba (the fruits and vegetables market) with an electronic gate; Al-Laban Market also remains closed.
2. Since 05 January 2009, the Israeli army has closed the area located along the Green Line south of the town of Yatta. Having seized land for Wall construction, the Israeli army evicted the Palestinian residents and denied them access to the area.

Temporary Detention

At 15:00, Israeli forces positioned at the entrance of Al-Arrub camp detained Mohammed Ahmad Abu Kheiran (70 years old).

Detention

Israeli forces detained 2 residents: Waleed Ibrahim Sharteeh (22 years old) and Waheed Al-Jundi (27 years old) in Yatta town.

GAZA STRIP

ALL DISTRICTS

• Since 19:00 on August 26th 2014, Palestinian Gunmen and the Israeli military agreed to a cease fire agreement (brokered by the Arab Republic of Egypt) which includes the opening of border crossings to allow the entry of emergency supplies and humanitarian goods as well as construction material and agreed to increase the fishing limit to 6 nautical miles with possibility of increase to 12 nautical miles by the end of the year and to decrease the Military area to 100 meters, allow freedom of movement and a halt to targeted killings and assassinations and negotiations will be held for discussion on rebuilding the sea port and airports in the coming month.

• The Israeli Military broke the ceasefire agreement by opening fire towards Rafah city as they levelled a plot of land.
•Israeli Naval vessels broke the ceasefire agreement by opening fire towards Palestinian fishing boats off the shores of North Gaza and Khan Yunis.

NORTHERN GAZA

Closure of Crossing Points

* Beit Hanun (Erez) is open for the passage of critical patients, journalists, NGO staff, businesspersons and passengers travelling abroad through Al-Karama crossing with previous coordination.

Attack

At 08:30, Israeli Naval vessels opened fire towards Palestinian fishing boats off the shores of Al-Sudaniya area located in west Beit Lahiya town, temporarily detained 10 fishermen, confiscated their fishing boats then released 8 fishermen at a later time.

Temporary Detention

Israeli forces temporarily detained 8 fishermen.

Confiscation of Property

Israeli Forces confiscated a fishing boat.

Israeli forces detained 2 unidentified fishermen.

GAZA

Closure of Crossing Points

* Al-Muntar (Karni) Crossing is closed. Beginning on 02 March 2011, the Crossing has been effectively closed following a unilateral Israeli decision.
* Al-Shija’iya (Nahal ‘Oz) Crossing is closed. Beginning on 04 January 2010, the Crossing has closed following a unilateral Israeli decision.

KHAN YUNIS

Attack

At 08:30, Israeli Naval vessels opened fire towards Palestinian fishing boats off the shores of West Khan Yunis city.

RAFAH

Raid

At 08:00 on the morning of June 15th 2016, Israeli forces escorting Military bulldozers stormed 200m into the vicinity of east Rafah city and opened fire as they leveled a plot of land.

Land Levelling

Israeli forces levelled a plot of land in Rafah city.

* Yasser ‘Arafat International Airport remains closed.
