WEST BANK

JERUSALEM

Closure (per District)

1. On June 13th 2016, The Israeli army intensified their restrictions at the entrance to Jerusalem city, set up several flying checkpoints on the main road leading to the city and prevented worshipers from conducting prayers at Al-Aqsa mosque compound which forced residents to conduct prayers near checkpoints located outside Al-Aqsa mosque compound. 2. The Israeli army continues to close the ‘demarcation area’ along the Wall in the area surrounding occupied East Jerusalem and restricts access to local residents as well as to civilians holding special permits.
3. The Israeli army continues to impose a blockade and deny civilian access to a hill between Biddu and Beit Iksa villages.

Closure of Roads

1. The Israeli army continues to close with cement blocks and dirt mounds the entrance to Jaba’ village.
2. The Israeli army continues to close with an iron gate the eastern entrance to Beit Iksa village and forces civilians to access Jerusalem city through Qalandiya checkpoint.

Military Checkpoints

1. Israeli authorities continue to consider Qalandiya checkpoint a “border crossing point” and designate a special crossing lane for holders of Jerusalem IDs and another for those possessing permits to access Jerusalem city.
2. On September 19th 2012, Israeli forces closed Ras Khamis checkpoint near Shu ‘fat camp and impeded the free flow of traffic in order to construct the wall.

Flying Checkpoints

1. At 21:00, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the entrance of Hizma town then searched residents and vehicles.
2. At 03:15, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the entrance of Al-Ram town then searched residents and vehicles.

Raid

1. At 21:30, Israeli forces raided Hizma town then fired rubber coated steel bullets, stun and tear gas grenades as they clashed with several residents.
2. At 18:00, Israeli forces raided Jabal Al-Mukabir town and detained 2 residents.
3. At 03:00, Israeli forces raided Abu Dis town, stormed and searched several homes and summoned Mu'taz Bader to report to Israeli Intelligence for questioning.
4. At 03:20, Israeli forces raided Anata town , stormed and searched several homes, detained a resident then fired rubber coated steel bullets, stun and tear gas grenades as they clashed with several residents then withdrew at 4:50.
5. At 04:00, Israeli forces raided Al-Ram town until 06:00.

Attack

Israeli forces clashed with residents in Hizma town and Anata town.

Detention

1. Israeli forces detained Ayman Musa Aliyan in Anata town.
2.Israeli forces detained 2 residents: Shadi Owisat and Ali Owisat in Jabal Al-Mukabir
3. At 18:00, Israeli forces detained Ammar Ibrahim Al-Hadra (38 years old Bus driver) from his work place in Jerusalem.

Assault on medical sector

At 12:00, Israeli forces raided Al-Makasid Hospital then stormed its administrative officer and inspected medical patient records searching for the medical file of the detainee Samer Anwar Obied {28 years old}(A resident of Al-Isawiya town).

Obstruction of Places of Worship

At 09:00, Israeli settlers under the protection of Israeli Military and Police forces stormed Al-Aqsa mosque compound in the old city of Jerusalem and provoked worshipers.

Closure of Wall Gates

1. The Israeli army continues to close with cement blocks the Wall gate in Abu Dis town.
2. The Israeli army continues to deny civilian access through the Wall gate on Al-Shayyah road in the area between Al-Sawahira Al-Sharqiya and Al-Slewahira Al-Gharbiya villages, only allowing civilians holding Jerusalem IDs to cross, after subjecting them to thorough searches using electronic devices.

RAMALLAH & AL BIREH

Closure of Roads

The Israeli army continues to close the entrances to Sinjil village well as the junction to Kafr Malik and ‘Ein Samiya villages

Flying Checkpoints

At 20:55, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint near Atarah town bridge then searched residents and vehicles until 22:50.

Raid

At 02:35, Israeli forces raided Deir Abu Mash'al village, stormed and searched several homes then withdrew at 04:00.

Attack

1. At 16:00, Israeli forces positioned at "Ofar" Military base fired rubber coated steel bullets, stun and tear gas grenades towards several residents who were demonstrating for the release of Abdel-Khaliq Jameel Sarhan {A resident of Ras Kar Kar village} after he was sentenced to 10 years imprisonment by Israeli Military courts.
2. At 01:55, Israeli forces positioned near the wall gate in Deir Qadis village fired rubber coated steel bullets, stun and tear gas grenades towards several residents.

JENIN

Closure (per District)

On December 24th 2015, Israeli forces closed off the area {900m wide and 100m long} along the main road connecting Jenin and Tulkarem leading to south Ya’bad and installed a barbed wire fence around the area and declared the area a closed military zone.

Closure of Roads

The Israeli army continues to close with dirt mounds the road leading to the town of ‘Arraba east of the illegal settlement Dotan.

Flying Checkpoints

At 20:45, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the entrance of Rumana village then searched residents and vehicles.

Raid

At 04:00, Israeli forces raided Faqu'a village and detained 2 residents.

Detention

Israeli forces detained 2 residents: Ayman Abdel-Mu'ti Khadour (22 years old) and Mohammad Jamal Abu Aram (27 years old) in Faqu'a village.

Closure of Wall Gates

Israeli forces continue to close the wall gate and only allow those holding special permits to enter through it.

TUBAS

Closure of Roads

Since 12:30 on March 15th 2016, Israeli forces closed the east entrance of Al-Aqaba village with cement blocks.

TULKAREM

Military Checkpoints

At 20:50, Israeli forces intensified their restrictions at “Eniv” checkpoint located along the main road connecting Tulkarem and Nablus and impeded the free flow of traffic until 21:30.

Raid

At 03:55, Israeli forces raided Deir Al-Ghusun town , stormed and searched several homes, detained a resident then withdrew at 04:05.

Detention

Israeli forces detained Ahmad Zaki Abu Issa (25 years old) in Deir Al-Ghusun town.

QALQILIYA

Closure of Roads

1. Israeli forces continue to close with cement blocks agricultural roads east of Azzun town.
2. In addition to closing the gate installed since the outbreak the second Intifada, the Israeli army continues to close with dirt mounds the eastern entrance to Kafr Qaddum village.
3. Since 10:40 on September 1st 2015, Israeli forces closed an agricultural road leading to Far’ata village which is located near “Gillad” settlement with a steel Gate.

At 13:30, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint in the area between Azzun and Izbit Al-Tabib towns then searched residents and vehicles.

Raid

At 02:30, Israeli forces raided Immatin village, stormed and searched the home of Mu'sab Ahmad Obied and summoned him to report to Israeli Intelligence for questioning.

Closure of Wall Gates

1. The Israeli army continues to restrict access at ‘Azzun ‘Atma Wall gate and impeded the free flow of traffic. The Israeli army continues to close with an iron gate the entrance to the village of Wadi Al- Rasha and to deny civilian access.
2. The Israeli army allows residents to access the village through Gate #109. Having removed the gate at the entrance to the village of Ras Atiya; the Israeli army only allows students to cross to their schools outside the village through the Habla gate.

NABLUS

Closure (per District)

Since December 17th 2013, Israeli forces ordered the closure 500 dunumes of land in Qusra village as a closed military area.

1. The Israeli army continues to close the northern entrance to Qabalan town; the southern entrances to the town of Jamma’in and the villages of Duma and Qaryut.
2. Since 06:30 on November 22nd 2015, Israeli forces closed the main road connecting Aqraba and Yanoun village with dirt mounds.
3. Since 13:00 on December 1st 2015, Israeli forces closed the main road connecting Tel village and the bypass road near “Yitsahar” settlement and installed a steel gate in the area.
4. At 18:45 on June 6th 2016, Israeli forces closed the main road connecting Awarta and Odala villages with dirt mounds.

Military Checkpoints

Israeli forces closed Huwara checkpoint and impeded the free flow of traffic until reopening it at a later time.

Raid

1. At 01:45, Israeli forces raided Beit Furiq town, fired rubber coated steel bullets , stun and tear gas grenades as they clashed with several residents while storming and searching several homes then withdrew at 02:25.
2. At 03:40, Israeli forces raided Aqraba town, stormed and searched several homes , detained a resident then withdrew at 04:45.

Attack

Israeli forces clashed with residents in Beit Furiq town.

Settlers Violence

1.At 21:05, a group of Israeli settlers stoned vehicles travelling along the main road in Huwara town and as a result shattered the windshield of a vehicles and left 2 residents: Majd Ameen Hamdan Salah and Imad Jaber Jibril Salah {Police officers} leaving them hospitalized.
2.At 12:25, a group of Israeli settlers under the protection of Israeli Military forces stormed Al-Mauraba'a area located between Tel and Burin villages then withdrew at 13:35.

Destruction of Property

Israeli settler stoning damaged a vehicle along the main road in Huwara town.

Injuries

Majd Ameen Hamdan Salah and Imad Jaber Jibril Salah {Police officers} were injured by Israeli settler stoning attack along the main road in Huwara town.

Detention

1.Israeli forces detained :Atef Malik Dariya (60 years old) in Aqraba town.
2.At 21:20, Israeli forces positioned at Huwara checkpoint detained Tamer Tayil Mohammad Odeh (37 years old) {A resident of Huwara}.

SALFIT

Closure of Roads

1. The Israeli army continues to close with dirt mounds the entrance to two detour roads connecting Marda village to its farmland.
2. Since 11:00 on July 30th 2012, Israeli forces have closed two roads leading to Abu Nasar and Qatan Al-Jama’ located in western area of Deir Istiya with cement blocks.

Military Checkpoints

Israeli forces intensified their restrictions at Za’tara checkpoint and impeded the free flow of traffic.

Flying Checkpoints

At 18:45, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint in the area between Rafat and Deir Ballout then searched residents and vehicles.

Physical Assault

At 22:30, Israeli forces positioned at the entrance of Harris town assaulted Sameer Salah Ghanam (51 years old){A resident of Jenin city} and as a result left him hospitalized with contusions.

JERICHO

Military Checkpoints

Israeli forces intensified its restrictions at Al-Hamra checkpoint set up along the road connecting Jericho and Nablus District and impeded the free flow of traffic.

Flying Checkpoints

At 10:30, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the North entrance of Jericho then searched residents and vehicles until 12:40.

BETHLEHEM

Closure (per District)

1. The Israeli army continues to close roads to An Nu’man village, with the exception of the road leading to the Wall gate in the south-eastern area of the village.
2. Since 15 September 2007, the Israel army has prevented civilians from accessing or staying on 22 dunumes of confiscated land in Al Mazmuriya area in Beit Sahur and Bethlehem cities.ل

Closure of Roads

1. The Israeli army continues to close the Beit Jala-Wadi Ahmed road; a road between Um Tuba and Al-Jass ; a road between Um Tuba and Khilat Nu’man: a road between Um Tuba and the wall; a road between Al-Khas village and the wall; the 2 by pass roads located south of Al-Walaja; a road between Talita Qumi and Nazlat Al-Sider in Beit Jala; the eastern road of Al-Khader; the road between Al-Khader and Beit Jala ; Wadi Rahal road near “Ifrat” settlement ,the road between Al-Khader and road #60 which lead to the eastern neighbourhoods of Bethlehem; a road leading to Wadi Rahal, and a road east of Beit Fajjar town with dirt mounds.
2. Since 10:45 on September 8th 2015, Israeli forces closed the agricultural road located in Arab Al-Rashaydeh village located near “Malee Amous” settlement with dirt mounds.
3. Since May 8th 2013, Israeli forces closed the road connecting Al-Carmisan area in Beit Jalla and Al-Walaja with a steel gate and barbed wires.

Flying Checkpoints

1. At 17:15, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint in Wadi Al-Baqr in Nihalin town then searched residents and vehicles until 17:45.
2.At 17:20, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint in Al-Sadr area located in Beit Jallah then searched residents and vehicles until 18:20.

Raid

At 09:10 and again at 03:50, Israeli forces raided Beit Fajjar town and detained 3 residents.

Temporary Detention

At 16:25, Israeli forces temporally detained Ahmad Salim Awad O'biyat (80 years old) as he was visiting his son in Eshel.

Detention

Israeli forces detained 3 residents: Ayed Thawabteh (17 years old), Ahmad Nasr Ahmad Thawabteh and Hassan Mohammad Hassan Taqatqa (19 years old) in Beit Fajjar town.

Settlers Violence

At 22:30, a group of Israeli settlers stormed Wadi Rahal area located in south Bethlehem then withdrew at 23:00.

HEBRON

Closure (per District)

1. The Israeli army continues to close Al-Sahleh and Khuzq Al-Far areas, as well as the old gold market in Hebron’s Old City. In addition to closing the entrance to Al-Qeisi neighbourhood, the Israeli army continues to close the entrances to the area of Al-Hisba (the fruits and vegetables market) with an electronic gate; Al-Laban Market also remains closed.
2. Since 05 January 2009, the Israeli army has closed the area located along the Green Line south of the town of Yatta. Having seized land for Wall construction, the Israeli army evicted the Palestinian residents and denied them access to the area.
3. At 09:00 on June 9th 2016, Israeli forces imposed a full closure on Yatta town { After the alleged shooting attack by 2 residents in Tel Aviv on June 8th 2016},installed several checkpoint inside the town and prevented residents from entering or exiting the town except for emergency medical cases and high school students taking exams.

1. The Israeli army continues to prohibit Palestinian vehicles from travelling along the old Al-Shalala Street leading to Hebron’s Old City.
2. The Israeli army continues to close the bypass road connecting Bani Na’im and Zif village junction with dirt mounds.
3. The Israeli Army continues to close the entrance of Beit Ummar (located near the local Cemetery) with dirt mounds.
4. At 09:30 on June 9th 2016, Israeli forces closed the road connecting Yatta and Al-Samou' towns with dirt mounds and closed the steel gate entrance at Al-Fuwar junction thus preventing residents from passing through the gate

Raid

1.At 16:20, Israeli forces raided Yatta town and detained a resident as they stormed and searched a home.
2. At 00:25, Israeli forces raided Al-Karmil area in Yatta town, stormed and searched the home of Nu'man Shihadeh Al-Barqandi during which they demolished a concrete fence and a water well owned by Mohammad Khalil Nu'man

Destruction of Property

Israeli forces demolished a concrete fence and a water well in Yatta town.

Detention

Israeli forces detained Jamal Khalil Shihadeh Abu Aram (30 years old) in Yatta town.

GAZA STRIP

ALL DISTRICTS

• • Since 19:00 on August 26th 2014, Palestinian Gunmen and the Israeli military agreed to a cease fire agreement (brokered by the Arab Republic of Egypt) which includes the opening of border crossings to allow the entry of emergency supplies and humanitarian goods as well as construction material and agreed to increase the fishing limit to 6 nautical miles with possibility of increase to 12 nautical miles by the end of the year and to decrease the Military area to 100 meters, allow freedom of movement and a halt to targeted killings and assassinations and negotiations will be held for discussion on rebuilding the sea port and airports in the coming month.

NORTHERN GAZA

Closure of Crossing Points

Beit Hanun (Erez) crossing is open for the passage of critical patients, journalists, NGO staff, businesspersons and passengers travelling abroad through Al-Karama crossing with previous coordination.

GAZA

Closure of Crossing Points

* Al-Muntar (Karni) Crossing is closed. Beginning on 02 March 2011, the Crossing has been effectively closed following a unilateral Israeli decision.
* Al-Shija’iya (Nahal ‘Oz) Crossing is closed. Beginning on 04 January 2010, the Crossing has closed following a unilateral Israeli decision.

RAFAH

Closure of Crossing Points

* Yasser ‘Arafat International Airport remains closed.
* Rafah (Al ‘Awdah) Crossing is closed
* Sufa Crossing is closed
* (iv) Karm Abu Salem (Karem Shalom) Crossing is open for the entry Humanitarian assistance.
