WEST BANK

JERUSALEM

Closure (per District)

(i) On June 12th 2016, The Israeli army intensified their restrictions at the entrance to Jerusalem city, set up several flying checkpoints on the main road leading to the city and prevented worshipers from conducting prayers at Al-Aqsa mosque compound which forced residents to conduct prayers near checkpoints located outside Al-Aqsa mosque compound.
(ii) The Israeli army continues to close the ‘demarcation area’ along the Wall in the area surrounding occupied East Jerusalem and restricts access to local residents as well as to civilians holding special permits.
(iii) The Israeli army continues to impose a blockade and deny civilian access to a hill between Biddu and Beit Iksa villages.

Closure of Roads

1. The Israeli army continues to close with cement blocks and dirt mounds the entrance to Jaba’ village.
2. The Israeli army continues to close with an iron gate the eastern entrance to Beit Iksa village and forces civilians to access Jerusalem city through Qalandiya checkpoint.

Military Checkpoints

1. Israeli authorities continue to consider Qalandiya checkpoint a “border crossing point” and designate a special crossing lane for holders of Jerusalem IDs and another for those possessing permits to access Jerusalem city.
2. On September 19th 2012, Israeli forces closed Ras Khamis checkpoint near Shu'fat camp and impeded the free flow of traffic in order to construct the wall.

1. At 10:00, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the entrance of Al-Isawiya town then searched residents and vehicles.
2. At 20:30, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the entrance of Anata town then searched residents and vehicles.

Raid

1. At 00:05, Israeli forces raided Al-Ram town.
2. At 00:20, Israeli forces raided Hizma town during which they fired rubber coated steel bullets, stun and tear gas grenades as they clashed with several residents.

Attack

Israeli forces fired rubber coated steel bullets, stun and tear gas grenades as they clashed with several residents in Hizma town.

Detention

1. At 10:00, Israeli forces positioned at Bab Al-Amoud gate entrance detained 2 unidentified residents after assaulting them.
2. At 12:00, Israeli forces detained Mohammad Al-Rawidi {A member of Al-Aqsa mosque rehabilitation council} as he was protesting the entry of Israeli settlers into the vicinity of Al-Aqsa mosque compound.
3. At 12:10, Israeli forces detained Hamza Nimr { A Security Guard for Al-Aqsa mosque compound } from inside Al-Aqsa mosque.

Physical Assault

Israeli forces assaulted 2 unidentified residents at Bab Al-Amoud gate entrance.

Obstruction of Places of Worship

At 09:00, Israeli settlers under the protection of Israeli Military and Police forces stormed Al-Aqsa mosque compound in the old city of Jerusalem and provoked worshipers then withdrew at 10:00.

Closure of Wall Gates

1. The Israeli army continues to close with cement blocks the Wall gate in Abu Dis town.
2. The Israeli army continues to deny civilian access through the Wall gate on Al-Shayyah road in the area between Al-Sawahira Al-Sharqiya and Al-Slewahira Al-Gharbiya villages, only allowing civilians holding Jerusalem IDs to cross, after subjecting them to thorough searches using electronic devices

RAMALLAH & AL BIREH

Closure of Roads

The Israeli army continues to close the entrances to Sinjil village well as the junction to Kafr Malik and ‘Ein Samiya villages.

Flying Checkpoints

1. At 22:15, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the entrance of Deir Abu Mash'al village then searched residents and vehicles until 22:50.
2. At 23:50, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at 'Atara bridge then searched residents and vehicles until 02:50.
3. At 23:45, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint near Ein Siniya roundabout hen searched residents and vehicles.

Settlers Attacks

At 16:20, a group of Israeli settlers stormed agricultural land in Turmus'ayya village and uprooted 15 Olive trees.

JENIN

Closure (per District)

On December 24th 2015, Israeli forces closed off the area {900m wide and 100m long} along the main road connecting Jenin and Tulkarem leading to south Ya’bad and installed a barbed wire fence around the area and declared the area a closed military zone.

Closure of Roads

The Israeli army continues to close with dirt mounds the road leading to the town of ‘Arraba east of the illegal settlement Dotan.

Flying Checkpoints

At 11:15, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at Ya'bad town junction then searched residents and vehicles.

Detention

At 21:10, Israeli forces positioned at Barta'a checkpoint detained Abdel-Rahman Mohammad Abu Jumhour.

Closure of Wall Gates

Israeli forces continue to close the wall gate and only allow those holding special permits to enter through it.

TUBAS

Closure of Roads

Since 12:30 on March 15th 2016, Israeli forces closed the east entrance of Al-Aqaba village with cement blocks.

TULKAREM

Military Checkpoints

Israeli forces continued to intensify their restrictions at “Eniv” checkpoint located along the main road connecting Tulkarem and Nablus and impeded the free flow of traffic.

Flying Checkpoints

At 16:40, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the entrance of Zeita town then searched residents and vehicles.

QALQILIYA

Closure of main Roads

1. Israeli forces continue to close with cement blocks agricultural roads east of Azzun town.
2. In addition to closing the gate installed since the outbreak the second Intifada, the Israeli army continues to close with dirt mounds the eastern entrance to Kafr Qaddum village.
3. Since 10:40 on September 1st 2015, Israeli forces closed an agricultural road leading to Far’ata village which is located near “Gillad” settlement with a steel Gate.

Flying Checkpoints

1.At 12:15, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the entrance of Jit town then searched residents and vehicles until 14:05.

2. At 19:30, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the east entrance of Jit village then searched residents and vehicles during which they temporarily detained Akram Suwan {A Palestinian Intelligence Force officer} and released him at a later time.

Temporary Detention

Israeli forces temporarily detained Akram Suwan {A Palestinian Intelligence Force officer} near east entrance of Jit village and released him at a later time.

Raid

At 02:30, Israeli forces raided Qalqilya city and fired stun and tear gas grenades as they clashed with several residents then stormed and searched the home of Mustafa Kamal Al-Hindi {A Palestinian Detainee}.

Attack

Israeli forces fired stun and tear gas grenades as they clashed with several residents in Qalqilya city.

Detention

1.At 22:00, Israeli forces detained Ayman Abdel-Fatah Radwan {20 years old}(A resident of Azzun town} near Ma'ale Shomron settlement.

2. At 23:45, Israeli forces detained Obeida Waleed Ziyat (A resident of Azzun town) as he was working near Azzun Atma village.

Assaults on Property

At 20:50, Israeli forces positioned in the area located in North West Qalqilya city launched flash grenades into the sky and as a result set fire to and destroyed approximately 50 Olive trees after the grenades landed onto agricultural land in the area.

Closure of Wall Gates

1. 1. The Israeli army continues to restrict access at ‘Azzun ‘Atma Wall gate and impeded the free flow of traffic. The Israeli army continues to close with an iron gate the entrance to the village of Wadi Al- Rasha and to deny civilian access.
2. The Israeli army allows residents to access the village through Gate #109. Having removed the gate at the entrance to the village of Ras Atiya; the Israeli army only allows students to cross to their schools outside the village through the Habla gate.

NABLUS

Closure (per District)

Since December 17th 2013, Israeli forces ordered the closure 500 dunums of land in Qusra village as a closed military area.

Closure of Roads

1. 1. The Israeli army continues to close the northern entrance to Qabalan town; the southern entrances to the town of Jamma’in and the villages of Duma and Qaryut.
2. Since 06:30 on November 22nd 2015, Israeli forces closed the main road connecting Aqraba and Yanoun village with dirt mounds.
3. Since 13:00 on December 1st 2015, Israeli forces closed the main road connecting Tel village and the bypass road near “Yitsahar” settlement and installed a steel gate in the area.
4. At 18:45 on June 6th 2016, Israeli forces closed off the main road connecting Awarta and Odala villages with dirt mounds.

Military Checkpoints

Israeli forces closed Huwara checkpoint and impeded the free flow of traffic until reopening it at a later time.

Flying Checkpoints

1. At 09:50, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at "Shavi Shomron" settlement junction then searched residents and vehicle.
2.At 16:50, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the entrance of Einabus town then searched residents and vehicles.
3. At 20:45, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at "Yitzhar" settlement junction then searched residents and vehicles.

Raid

1.At 19:40, Israeli forces raided Huwwara town and then occupied the rooftops of several homes.
2. At 03:00, Israeli forces raided Nablus city and detained 2 residents then withdrew at 04:00.

House Occupation

Israeli forces occupied the rooftops of several homes in Huwwara town.

Detention

Israeli forces detained 2 residents: Khabab Marwan Hamad and Wajdi Al-Qutub in Nablus city.

SALFIT

Closure of Roads

1. The Israeli army continues to close with dirt mounds the entrance to two detour roads connecting Marda village to its farmland.
2. Since 11:00 on July 30th 2012, Israeli forces have closed two roads leading to Abu Nasar and Qatan Al-Jama’ located in western area of Deir Istiya with cement blocks.

1. At 14:25, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the North entrance of Salfit city then searched residents and vehicles until 15:25.
2.At 14:55, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint near Az Zawiya bridge then searched residents and vehicles.
3. At 21:25, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the west entrance of Deir Istiya town then searched residents and vehicles.

JERICHO

Military Checkpoints

Israeli forces continue to intensify their restrictions at Al-Hamra checkpoint set up along the road connecting Jericho and Nablus District and impede the free flow of traffic.

BETHLEHEM

Closure (per District)

1. The Israeli army continues to close roads to An Nu’man village, with the exception of the road leading to the Wall gate in the south-eastern area of the village.
2. Since 15 September 2007, the Israel army has prevented civilians from accessing or staying on 22 dunums of confiscated land in Al Mazmuriya area in Beit Sahur and Bethlehem cities.

Closure of main Roads

1. The Israeli army continues to close the Beit Jala-Wadi Ahmed road; a road between Um Tuba and Al-Jass ; a road between Um Tuba and Khilat Nu’man: a road between Um Tuba and the wall; a road between Al-Khas village and the wall; the 2 by pass roads located south of Al-Walaja; a road between Talita Qumi and Nazlat Al-Sider in Beit Jala; the eastern road of Al-Khader; the road between Al-Khader and Beit Jala ; Wadi Rahal road near “Ifrat” settlement ,the road between Al-Khader and road #60 which lead to the eastern neighbourhoods of Bethlehem; a road leading to Wadi Rahal, and a road east of Beit Fajjar town with dirt mounds.
2. Since 10:45 on September 8th 2015, Israeli forces closed the agricultural road located in Arab Al-Rashaydeh village located near “Malee Amous” settlement with dirt mounds.
3. Since May 8th 2013, Israeli forces closed the road connecting Al-Carmisan area in Beit Jalla and Al-Walaja with a steel gate and barbed wires.

Raid

1. At 14:30, Israeli forces raided Al-Sahil area in Beit Jala city and temporarily detained several residents.
2. At 19:30, Israeli forces raided Ayda camp in Bethlehem city then fired rubber coated steel bullets, stun and tear gas grenades as they clashed with several residents.
3. At 23:40, Israeli forces raided Harmala village then fired rubber coated steel bullets, stun and tear gas grenades as they clashed with several residents.
4. At 00:15, Israeli forces raided Al-Khadr town then fired rubber coated steel bullets, stun and tear gas grenades as they clashed with several residents.
5. At 01:40, Israeli forces raided Beit Jalla city.
6. At 05:25, Israeli forces raided Beit Fajjar town.

Attack

Israeli forces fired rubber coated steel bullets, stun and tear gas grenades as they clashed with several residents in Ayda camp,Harmala village and Al-Khadr town .

Temporary Detention

At 09:00, Israeli forces temporarily detained Ammar Ali Hamdan (A resident of Al-Jab'a village) as he was herding his goats then released him at a later time.

Detention

At 14:50, Israeli forces detained Mohammad Hassan Taqatqa (27 years old) as he was returning from prayers in Al-Aqsa mosque compound.

HEBRON

Closure (per District)

1. The Israeli army continues to close Al-Shuhada’ Street, Al-Sahleh and Khuzq Al-Far areas, as well as the old gold market in Hebron’s Old City. In addition to closing the entrance to Al-Qeisi neighbourhood, the Israeli army continues to close the entrances to the area of Al-Hisba (the fruits and vegetables market) with an electronic gate; Al-Laban Market also remains closed.
2. Since 05 January 2009, the Israeli army has closed the area located along the Green Line south of the town of Yatta. Having seized land for Wall construction, the Israeli army evicted the Palestinian residents and denied them access to the area.

3. At 09:00 on June 9th 2016, Israeli forces imposed a full closure on Yatta town { After the alleged shooting attack by 2 residents in Tel Aviv on June 8th 2016},installed several checkpoint inside the town and prevented residents from entering or exiting the town except for emergency medical cases and high school students taking exams.

Closure of Roads

1. The Israeli army continues to prohibit Palestinian vehicles from travelling along the old Al-Shalala Street leading to Hebron’s Old City.
2. The Israeli army continues to close the bypass road connecting Bani Na’im and Zif village junction with dirt mounds.
3. The Israeli Army continues to close the entrance of Beit Ummar (located near the local Cemetery) with dirt mounds.
4. At 09:30 on June 9th 2016, Israeli forces closed the road connecting Yatta and Al-Samou' towns with dirt mounds and closed the steel gate entrance at Al-Fuwar junction thus preventing residents from passing through the gate.

Raid

1.At 01:15, Israeli forces raided Hebron city and detained 5 residents.
2. At 01:15, Israeli forces raided Yatta town then stormed and searched 2 homes.
3. At 01:20, Israeli forces raided Bani Na'im town then stormed and searched 3 homes.

Detention

1.At 16:30, Israeli forces detained Mohammad Khaled Abu Rabi' (23 years old){A resident of Al-Arrub camp}.
2.Israeli forces detained 5 residents: Muntassir Assad Jundi, Ammar Yasser Al-Qawasmi, Faris Khalid Qawasmi, Ahmad Jalal Al-Jinedi and Rani Al-Haymouni in Hebron city.

GAZA STRIP

ALL DISTRICTS

• Since 19:00 on August 26th 2014, Palestinian Gunmen and the Israeli military agreed to a cease fire agreement (brokered by the Arab Republic of Egypt) which includes the opening of border crossings to allow the entry of emergency supplies and humanitarian goods as well as construction material and agreed to increase the fishing limit to 6 nautical miles with possibility of increase to 12 nautical miles by the end of the year and to decrease the Military area to 100 meters, allow freedom of movement and a halt to targeted killings and assassinations and negotiations will be held for discussion on rebuilding the seaport and airports in the coming month
• The Israeli Military broke the ceasefire agreement by opening fire towards Central Gaza

Attack

At 10:15 on June 12th 2016 Israeli forces positioned behind the Green Line opened fire towards agricultural land in east Juhir Al-Dik town.
