WEST BANK

JERUSALEM

Closure of District

(i) At 24:00 on June 9th 2016, The Israeli army intensified their restrictions at the entrance to Jerusalem city, set up several flying checkpoints on the main road leading to the city and prevented residents and workers including those carrying entry permits from entering Jerusalem city and Israel with the exception of Diplomatic missions, International Organization members, Humanitarian cases .
(ii) The Israeli army continues to close the ‘demarcation area’ along the Wall in the area surrounding occupied East Jerusalem and restricts access to local residents as well as to civilians holding special permits.
(iii) The Israeli army continues to impose a blockade and deny civilian access to a hill between Biddu and Beit Iksa villages.

Closure of Roads

(i) The Israeli army continues to close with cement blocks and dirt mounds the entrance to Jaba’ village.
(ii) The Israeli army continues to close with an iron gate the eastern entrance to Beit Iksa village and forces civilians to access Jerusalem city through Qalandiya checkpoint.

Military Checkpoints

(i) Israeli authorities continue to consider Qalandiya checkpoint a “border crossing point” and designate a special crossing lane for holders of Jerusalem IDs and another for those possessing permits to access Jerusalem city.
(ii) On September 19th 2012, Israeli forces closed Ras Khamis checkpoint near Shu ‘fat camp and impeded the free flow of traffic in order to construct the wall.

Raid

1. At 03:00 on June 12th 2016, Israeli forces raided Hizma town.
2.At 03:30, Israeli forces raided Al-Eizariya town, stormed several homes during which they clashed with several residents and fired rubber coated steel bullets , stun and tear gas grenades .

Deportation

On the morning of June 11th 2016, Israeli forces served a military order for the deportation of Ali Mohammad Saror (60 year old){A resident of Jabal Al-Mukabir} preventing him from entering Al-Aqsa mosque compound for a period of 3 months.

Detention

On the evening of June 10th 2016, Israeli forces detained Basil Abu Diyab after he was summoned to report to Israeli Intelligence for questioning then sentenced him to 3 months administrative detention .

Closure of Wall Gates

(i) The Israeli army continues to close with cement blocks the Wall gate in Abu Dis town.
(ii) The Israeli army continues to deny civilian access through the Wall gate on Al-Shayyah road in the area between Al-Sawahira Al-Sharqiya and Al-Slewahira Al-Gharbiya villages, only allowing civilians holding Jerusalem IDs to cross, after subjecting them to thorough searches using electronic devices.

RAMALLAH & AL BIREH

Closure of Roads

(i) The Israeli army continues to close the entrances to Sinjil village well as the junction to Kafr Malik and ‘Ein Samiya villages
(ii) Since 24:00 on February 14th 2016, closed the main road near the entrance of “Bet El” settlement which leads to Al-Jalazoun camp with cement block.

Flying Checkpoints

1. At 21:10, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint beneath Deir Dibwan village bridge then searched residents and vehicles.
2. At 23:45, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the entrance of Abboud village then searched residents and vehicles,
3.At 02:10, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the entrance of Deir Nathim village then searched resiednts and vehicles.
4.At 02:15, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the entrance of Shibtien village then searched resiednts and vehicles.

Raid

1.At 23:45, Israeli forces raided Deir Abu Mash'al village, opened fire towards a vehicle as they chased it and stormed 2 merchant shops owned by Rami Ahmad Hussien Al-Barghouthi and Khalil Abdel-Rahman Zahran then confiscated survailance camera footage from the stores.
2. At 00:20, Israeli forces raided Al-Bireh city and stormed a building owned by Ibrahim Abed which is near "Psagot" settlement.
3. At 03:20, Israeli forces raided Al-Jalazoun camp.
4.On the morning of June 12th 2016, Israeli forces raided Shuqba and Deir Ibzi' villages then stormed several homes,

JENIN

Closure (per District)

On December 24th 2015, Israeli forces closed off the area {900m wide and 100m long} along the main road connecting Jenin and Tulkarem leading to south Ya’bad and installed a barbed wire fence around the area and declared the area a closed military zone.

Closure of Roads

The Israeli army continues to close with dirt mounds the road leading to the town of ‘Arraba east of the illegal settlement Dotan.

Flying Checkpoints

At 23:05, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint along the main road connecting Jaba' and Sanur towns then searched residents and vehicles.

Detention

1.At 23:00, Israeli forces detained 2 resiednts: Ala Muwafaq Abu Muwis and Eyad Abdallah Abu Muwis near Ibziq area.
2. On the morning of June 10th 2016, Israeli forces detained Billal Wafiq Qubha (A resident of Ya'bad town) as he was travelling for prayer in Al-Aqsa mosque compound in the old city of Jerusalem.

Closure of Wall Gates

Israeli forces continue to close the wall gate and only allow those holding special permits to enter through it.

TUBAS

Closure (per District)

Since 12:30 on March 15th 2016, Israeli forces closed the east entrance of Al-Aqaba village with cement blocks.

Flying Checkpoints

At 19:30, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at Al-Aqaba village junction then searched residents and vehicles.

Raid

Israeli forces raided Tubas city and detained 2 residents.

Detention

Israeli forces detained 2 resident: Ahmad Kamal Salim Abu Muhuisien and Mohammad Abdel Qadder Al-Latif Draghmeh in Tubas city.

TULKAREM

Military Checkpoints

At 19:10, Israeli forces intensified their restrictions at “Eniv” checkpoint located along the main road connecting Tulkarem and Nablus and impeded the free flow of traffic until 19:30.

QALQILIYA

Closure (per District)

(1) In addition to closing the gate installed since the outbreak the second Intifada, the Israeli army continues to close with dirt mounds the eastern entrance to Kafr Qaddum village.
(2) Since 10:40 on September 1st 2015, Israeli forces closed an agricultural road leading to Far’ata village which is located near “Gillad” settlement with a steel Gate.

Flying Checkpoints

1.At 17:15, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the east entrance of Qalqilya city then searched residents and vehicles until 17:45.
2. At 18:45, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the entrance of Jit village then searched residents and vehicles.
At 19:00, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the entrance of Azzun then searched residents and vehicles.

Demonstrations

At 18:45, a demonstration took place in Kafr Qaddum against the closure of the east entrance during which they clashed with Israeli forces tried to disrupt the demonstration by firing live ammunition, rubber coated steel bullets, stun and tear gas grenades towards demonstrators who attempted to reach they demonstration site and left several residents suffocating from tear gas inhalation then occupied the rooftop of a home.

Closure of Wall Gates

1. The Israeli army continues to restrict access at ‘Azzun ‘Atma Wall gate and impeded the free flow of traffic. The Israeli army continues to close with an iron gate the entrance to the village of Wadi Al- Rasha and to deny civilian access.
2. The Israeli army allows residents to access the village through Gate #109. Having removed the gate at the entrance to the village of Ras Atiya; the Israeli army only allows students to cross to their schools outside the village through the Habla gate

NABLUS

Closure (per District)

Since December 17th 2013, Israeli forces ordered the closure 500 dunumes of land in Qusra village as a closed military area.

Closure of Roads

1. (i) The Israeli army continues to close the northern entrance to Qabalan town; the southern entrances to the town of Jamma’in and the villages of Duma and Qaryut.
(ii) Since 06:30 on November 22nd 2015, Israeli forces closed the main road connecting Aqraba and Yanoun village with dirt mounds.
(iii) Since 13:00 on December 1st 2015, Israeli forces closed the main road connecting Tel village and the bypass road near “Yitsahar” settlement and installed a steel gate in the area.
4.At 18:45 on June 6th 2016, Israeli forces closed the main road connecting Awarta and Odala.

Military Checkpoints

Israeli forces continue to intensify their restrictions at Huwara checkpoint and impeded the free flow of traffic.

Flying Checkpoints

1.At 16:10, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint along the main road in Huwara town then searched residents and vehicles.
2. Israeli forces set up a checkpoint in Al-Muraba'at area near Tel village then searched residents and vehicles.
3.Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the entrance of Beit Furiq village then searched residents and vehicles.
4. Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the entrance of Sara village then searched residents and vehicles.
5. Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the entrance of Osarin village then searched residents and vehicles.

Raid

1.On the morning of June 11th 2016, Israeli forces raided Iraq Burin village, and fired rubber coated steel bullets , stun and tear gas grenades as they clashed with several residents
2. At 01:35, Israeli forces raided Al-Masakin Al-Sha'biya area in Nablus city.
3. At 02:20, Israeli forces raided Awarta village until 02:40.

Physical Assault

At 16:15, a Israeli Military vehicle {Jeep} ran over the child Ameen Hamad Maher Salihat (9 years old) as he was playing near his home in Wad Al-Badhan village and as a result left him hospitalised with contusions.

Injuries

The child Ameen Hamad Maher Salihat (9 years old) was hospitalised with contusions after he was ran over by a Israeli Military vehicle.

SALFIT

Closure of Roads

(1) The Israeli army continues to close with dirt mounds the entrance to two detour roads connecting Marda village to its farmland.
(2) Since 11:00 on July 30th 2012, Israeli forces have closed two roads leading to Abu Nasar and Qatan Al-Jama’ located in western area of Deir Istiya with cement blocks.

Israeli forces continue to intensify their restrictions at Za’tara checkpoint and impeded the free flow of traffic.

Flying Checkpoints

1.At 16:25, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint along the main road connecting Kafr Ad Dik town and Qarwat Bani Zeid village then searched residents and vehicles.
2. Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the entrance of Az Zawiya town then searched residents and vehicles
3. At 18:45, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the west entrance of Harris town then searched residents and vehicles.
4.At 19:40, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at Deir Istiya village junction then searched residents and vehicles.
5. At 20:50, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint beneath Iskaka bridge then searched residents and vehicles.
6. At 15:20, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint during their raid into Kafr Ad Dik town then searched residents and vehicles.

1. At 15:20, Israeli forces raided Kafr Ad Dik town then set up a checkpoint as they proceeded to search residents and vehicles.
2. Israeli forces raided Biddya town.

JERICHO

Military Checkpoints

Israeli forces intensified its restrictions at Al-Hamra checkpoint set up along the road connecting Jericho and Nablus District and impeded the free flow of traffic.

Flying Checkpoints

1. At 21:25, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the Dead Sea junction then searched residents and vehicles.
2. At 01:05, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the North entrance of Jericho city then searched residents and vehicles until 01:50.

Raid

At 13:55,Israeli forces raided Al-Oja village.

BETHLEHEM

Closure (per District)

(1) The Israeli army continues to close roads to An Nu’man village, with the exception of the road leading to the Wall gate in the south-eastern area of the village.
(2) Since 15 September 2007, the Israel army has prevented civilians from accessing or staying on 22 dunumes of confiscated land in Al Mazmuriya area in Beit Sahur and Bethlehem cities.

Closure of Roads

(i) The Israeli army continues to close the Beit Jala-Wadi Ahmed road; a road between Um Tuba and Al-Jass ; a road between Um Tuba and Khilat Nu’man: a road between Um Tuba and the wall; a road between Al-Khas village and the wall; the 2 by pass roads located south of Al-Walaja; a road between Talita Qumi and Nazlat Al-Sider in Beit Jala; the eastern road of Al-Khader; the road between Al-Khader and Beit Jala ; Wadi Rahal road near “Ifrat” settlement ,the road between Al-Khader and road #60 which lead to the eastern neighbourhoods of Bethlehem; a road leading to Wadi Rahal, and a road east of Beit Fajjar town with dirt mounds.
(ii) Since 10:45 on September 8th 2015, Israeli forces closed the agricultural road located in Arab Al-Rashaydeh village located near “Malee Amous” settlement with dirt mounds.
(iii) Since May 8th 2013, Israeli forces closed the road connecting Al-Carmisan area in Beit Jalla and Al-Walaja with a steel gate and barbed wires

Raid

At 13:55, Israeli forces raided Ayda camp in Bethlehem, stormed the home of Mohammad Al-Khatib {A Palestinian Legislative Council Member} then fired rubber coated steel bullets stun and tear gas gernades during confrontations near Abu Baqr Al-Sudiq mosque during confrontaions with residents.

Flying Checkpoints

At 21:50, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint near Qabir Hulwa then searched resiednts and vehicles until 22:25.

Detention

At 23:55, Israeli forces positioned at Container checkpoint detained Muhanad Issa Mohammad (36 years old){A resident of Yatta city in Hebron District}.

HEBRON

Closure (per District)

(i) The Israeli army continues to close Al-Shuhada’ Street, Al-Sahleh and Khuzq Al-Far areas, as well as the old gold market in Hebron’s Old City. In addition to closing the entrance to Al-Qeisi neighbourhood, the Israeli army continues to close the entrances to the area of Al-Hisba (the fruits and vegetables market) with an electronic gate; Al-Laban Market also remains closed.
(ii) Since 05 January 2009, the Israeli army has closed the area located along the Green Line south of the town of Yatta. Having seized land for Wall construction, the Israeli army evicted the Palestinian residents and denied them access to the area.

Closure of Roads

(i) The Israeli army continues to prohibit Palestinian vehicles from travelling along the old Al-Shalala Street leading to Hebron’s Old City.
(ii) The Israeli army continues to close the bypass road connecting Bani Na’im and Zif village junction with dirt mounds.
(iii) The Israeli Army continues to close the entrance of Beit Ummar (located near the local Cemetery) with dirt mounds.

Raid

1.At 23:50, Israeli forces raided Yatta town and served a military order for the demolition of a home owned by the family of Mohammad Ahmad Musa Makhamra {A Palestinian Detainee} and again at 01:50 raided the area during which they clashed with several residents as they stormed and searched several stone mills and homes then detained 2 residents.
2. At 03:45, Israeli forces raided Surif town, stormed 2 homes owned by Ahmad Abdel-Fattah Hadoush and Sameer Al-Qadi {A Palestinian Legislative Council Member}.

Flying Checkpoints

1.At 10:30, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the entrance of Ithna town then searched residents and vehicles.
2.At 11:00, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the entrance of Al-Fuwar camp then searched residents and vehicles.
3. At 15:55, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint along Halhoul town bridge then searched residents and vehicles until 17:00.
4.At 21:30, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint along Beit Kahil town bridge then searched residents and vehicles until 23:00.

Detention

1. At 16:55, Israeli forces detained Mohammad Atef Hamdan Abu Sneineh {A resiednt of Abu Sneineh neighborhood in the old city of Hebron}.
2. Israeli forces detained Shaher Musa Daoud {46 years old} and Izzo Ghayth {30 yeara old} in Yatta town.

GAZA STRIP

ALL DISTRICTS

Since 19:00 on August 26th 2014, Palestinian Gunmen and the Israeli military agreed to a cease fire agreement (brokered by the Arab Republic of Egypt) which includes the opening of border crossings to allow the entry of emergency supplies and humanitarian goods as well as construction material and agreed to increase the fishing limit to 6 nautical miles with possibility of increase to 12 nautical miles by the end of the year and to decrease the Military area to 100 meters, allow freedom of movement and a halt to targeted killings and assassinations and negotiations will be held for discussion on rebuilding the sea port and airports in the coming month.
The Israeli military broke the cease fire agreement by opening fire from their positions behind the Green Line towards Al-Bureij camp in Central Gaza district.
Israeli Naval vessels broke the cease fire agreement by opening fire towards Palestinian fishing boats off the shores of North Gaza and Rafah districts.

NORTHERN GAZA

Closure of Crossing Points

At 02:10 on June 12th 2016, Israeli Naval vessels opened fire towards Palestinian fishing boats off the shores of Al-Sudaniya area located in West Beit Lahiya.

GAZA

Closure of Crossing Points

* Al-Muntar (Karni) Crossing is closed. Beginning on 02 March 2011, the Crossing has been effectively closed following a unilateral Israeli decision.
* Al-Shija’iya (Nahal ‘Oz) Crossing is closed. Beginning on 04 January 2010, the Crossing has closed following a unilateral Israeli decision.

CENTRAL GAZA

Attack

At 00:40 on June 12th 2016, Israeli forces positioned behined the Green Line opened fire towards Al-Buriej camp and again opened fire towards the area at 13:00.

RAFAH

Closure of Crossing Points

* Yasser ‘Arafat International Airport remains closed.
* Rafah (Al ‘Awdah) Crossing is open for the entry of students, medical patients and the entry of construction material.
* Sufa Crossing is closed
* Karm Abu Salem (Karem Shalom) Crossing is closed.

At 23:15 on June 11th 2016, Israeli Naval vessels opened fire towards Palestinian fishing boats off the shores of Rafah city.
