WEST BANK

JERUSALEM

Flying Checkpoints

1. At 21:30, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the entrance of Al-Eizariya town near "Malee Adumim" settlement junction then searched residents and vehicles.
2. At 01:00, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint in Wadi Al-Rababa area located in Silwan neighborhood in Jerusalem city then searched residents and vehicles.

Attack

At 18:00, Israeli forces positioned near Al-Jabal junction in Abu Dis town fired stun and tear gas grenades towards several residents for alleged stoning.

Temporary Detention

At 13:30, Israeli forces positioned at Qalandiya checkpoint temporarily detained Musbah Abu Subieh (A resident of Jerusalem city) then released him after handing him a Military order which prevents him from travelling abroad.

RAMALLAH & AL BIREH

Flying Checkpoints

1. At 19:45, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at Ein Sinya village junction then searched residents and vehicles.
2. At 19:45, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at Surda village junction then searched residents and vehicles until 21:15.
3. At 21:15 , Israeli forces set up a checkpoint near Atarah town bridge then searched residents and vehicles.

Raid

At 02:30, Israeli forces raided Silwad town, clashed with several residents as they stormed and searched several homes and summoned 4 residents: Waleed Imad Hamad, Khaled Hamad, Yasser Abu Ziena and Islam Ayed Hamad to report to Israeli Intelligence for questioning then withdrew at 03:30.

Attack

At 02:30, Israeli forces fired rubber coated steel bullets , stun and tear gas grenades towards several residents for alleged stoning as they stormed and searched several homes during their raid into Silwad town.

Demonstrations

At 13:15, a demonstration took place in Bil'in town protesting a giants the construction of the wall.

JENIN

Flying Checkpoints

At 23:00, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint near Arraba town junction and detained 2 residents.

Detention

Israeli forces detained Ahmad Jihad Sawafta and Fadi Bashar Abdel-Raziq near Arraba town junction.

Settlers Attacks

At 08:45, a group of Israeli settlers stormed Khirbet Masaud located near Zibdeh village then withdrew at a later time.

TUBAS

Destruction of Property

At 12:00, Israeli forces destroyed a water pipe line approximately 200 m as they leveled a plot of land in the area located between Attuf and Al-Hadidiya village.

TULKAREM

Military Checkpoints

At 08:45, Israeli forces intensified their restrictions at "Enav" checkpoint and impeded the free flow of traffic until 10:25.

QALQILIYA

Flying Checkpoints

At 08:30 and again at 01:35 ,Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the entrance of Azzun town then searched residents and vehicles.

Raid

At 23:30, Israeli forces raided Azzun town.

Demonstrations

At 13:00, a demonstration took place in Kafr Qaddum against the closure of the east entrance during which they clashed with Israeli forces tried to disrupt the demonstration by firing live ammunition, rubber coated steel bullets, stun and tear gas grenades towards demonstrators who attempted to reach they demonstration site and as a result injured Tom Anderson {A Peace Activist and a resident of Scotland) and also temporarily detained 3 residents including 2 journalists then released them at a later time.

Attack

At 13:00, Israeli forces fired live ammunition, rubber coated steel bullets, stun and tear gas grenades towards demonstrators who attempted to reach they demonstration site near the entrance of Kafr Qaddum and as a result injured a International peace activist.

Injuries

Tom Anderson {A Peace Activist and a resident of Scotland} was injured after Israeli forces opened fire during clashes with demonstrators in Kafr Qaddum

Temporary Detention

At 13:00, Israeli forces temporarily detained 3 residents including 2 journalists: Mahmoud Fawzi Abdel-Ghani (A journalist), Kamal Mufid Barham (A journalist) and Sami Bassam Jum'a during demonstrations in Kafr Qaddum village then released them 16:30.

NABLUS

Military Checkpoints

At 14:15, Israeli forces closed Huwara checkpoint until 16:45.

Flying Checkpoints

1. At 14:15, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at Madma village bridge then searched residents and vehicle until 16:45.
2. At 19:30, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at Sarah village junction located along the main road connecting Nablus and Qalqilya then searched residents and vehicle until 21:05.

Closure of main Roads

At 14:15, Israeli forces closed the entrances of Aqraba and Beita towns and the entrance of Burin village then impeded the free flow of traffic until 16:45.

SALFIT

Military Checkpoints

At 14:15, Israeli forces closed Zatara checkpoint and impeded the free flow of traffic until 16:45.

Flying Checkpoints

At 20:20, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the entrance of Al-Zawiya town then searched residents and vehicles until 21:00.

Raid

At 19:55, Israeli forces raided Kafr Ad-Dik town until 21:00.

Detention

1. On July 7th 2016, Israeli forces positioned at Zatara checkpoint junction detained Osama Basam Ahmad Abu Ziena (A resident of Tulkarem).
2. At 01:35, Israeli forces positioned near "Arail" settlement junction detained Wajeeh Mohammad Namnam (A Resident of the Gaza Strip).

Temporary Detention

1. At 11:55, Israeli forces positioned at Zatara checkpoint junction temporarily detained Farhan Hassan Taqatqa (A National Security Force Officer) then released him at a later time.
2. At 18:00, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at Zatara checkpoint junction detained Mohammad Jameel Awad (A Presidential Guard) then released him at a later time.

JERICHO

Flying Checkpoints

At 06:40, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the south entrance of Jericho city then searched residents and vehicles until 07:15.

BETHLEHEM

Flying Checkpoints

At 11:00, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint near Al-Nashash area junction located at the south entrance of Bethlehem city then searched residents and vehicles until 12:30

Raid

1. At 14:40, Israeli forces raided Jinata town.
2. At 17:05, Israeli forces raided Al-Faradis village, stormed and searched several homes then withdrew at 18:00.
3. At 02:50, Israeli forces raided Irtas village, stormed a home then withdrew at 07:20.

HEBRON

Flying Checkpoints

At 22:00, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint in Yaqin area located at the entrance of Bani Na'im town and prevented residents aged 15-25 from exiting the town.

Raid

1. At 20:10, Israeli forces raided Hebron city until 23:20.
2. At 01:50, Israeli forces raided Dura town and Al-Fuwar camp, clashed with several residents as they stormed and searched several homes and as a result injured a resident then detained a resident and temporarily detained another 2 resident and were released after confiscating their vehicle and withdrew at 06:30.

Detention

Israeli forces detained Adam Taha Abu Sharar in Dura town.

Temporary Detention

At 01:50, Israeli forces temporarily detained 2 residents: Mus'ab Idris Al-Sharawneh and Nabeel Idris Al-Sharawneh during their raid into Dura town then released them after confiscating their vehicle.

At 01:50, Israeli forces fired live ammunition, rubber coated steel bullets, stun and tear gas grenades towards several residents for alleged stoning as they stormed several homes during their raid into Dura town.

Ehab Jihad Abu Znaid was injured during confrontations with Israeli forces in Dura town.

Confiscation of Property

At 01:50, Israeli forces confiscated a vehicle owned by Suhayeb Jabarah Al-Faqeh during their raid in Dura town.

Closure of main Roads

1. At 09:00, Israeli forces closed the entrance of Al-Samu' town with dirt mounds.
2. At 15:50, Israeli forces closed the entrance of Al-Fah's area located in south Hebron and impeded the free flow of traffic.

Settlers Attacks

At 12:00, Israeli settlers stormed a plot of agricultural land in Tel Al-Rumayda neighborhood in the old city of Hebron and broke the limbs of several fruit bearing trees owned by Hanna Abu Haykal.

Destruction of Property

At 12:00, Israeli settlers broke the limbs of several fruit bearing trees owned by Hanna Abu Haykal as they stormed a plot of agricultural land in Tel Al-Rumayda neighborhood in the old city of Hebron.

GAZA STRIP

ALL DISTRICTS

• Since 19:00 on August 26th 2014, Palestinian Gunmen and the Israeli military agreed to a cease fire agreement (brokered by the Arab Republic of Egypt) which includes the opening of border crossings to allow the entry of emergency supplies and humanitarian goods as well as construction material and agreed to increase the fishing limit to 6 nautical miles with possibility of increase to 12 nautical miles by the end of the year and to decrease the Military area to 100 meters, allow freedom of movement and a halt to targeted killings and assassinations and negotiations will be held for discussion on rebuilding the sea port and airports in the coming month.
• The Israeli Military broke the ceasefire agreement by opening fire towards Khan Yunis district.

NORTHERN GAZA

* Beit Hanun (Erez) is open for the passage of critical patients, journalists, NGO staff, businesspersons and passengers travelling abroad through Al-Karama crossing with previous coordination.

Closure of Crossing Points

* Al-Muntar (Karni) Crossing is closed. Beginning on 02 March 2011, the Crossing has been effectively closed following a unilateral Israeli decision.
* Al-Shija’iya (Nahal ‘Oz) Crossing is closed. Beginning on 04 January 2010, the Crossing has closed following a unilateral Israeli decision.

CENTRAL GAZA

Detention

At 21:30 on July 8th 2016, Israeli forces detained an unidentified resident as he was attempting to climb the boarder fence into Israeli from east Deir Al-Balah town.

KHAN YUNIS

Attack

1. At 09:30 on July 8th 2016, Israeli forces positioned behind the Green Line opened fire towards agricultural lands in east Khan Yunis city.
2. At 18:45 on July 8th 2016, Israeli forces positioned behind the Green Line opened fire towards agricultural lands located in east Al-Qarara town located in North east Khan Yunis.
3. At 19:40 on July 8th 2016, Israeli forces positioned behind the Green Line opened fire towards agricultural lands located in east Abbassan town located in east Khan Yunis city.

RAFAH

Closure of Crossing Points

* Yasser ‘Arafat International Airport remains closed.
* Rafah (Al ‘Awdah) Crossing is closed.
* Sufa Crossing is closed.
* Karm Abu Salem (Karem Shalom) Crossing is open for the entry Humanitarian assistance.
