DAILY SITUATION REPORT
08:00, 8th July 2020 – 08:00, 9th July 2020
1. On the evening of 08.07.2020, Israeli forces raided Al-Issawiya village, where they clashed with the citizens, and arrested a citizen.
2. At 02:00, the Israeli occupation forces stormed the town of Kafr Aqab, where clashes took place with the citizens while they were patrolling, and withdrew at 03:40.
3. At 04:15, the Israeli forces moved into Beit Annan, and arrested 2 civilians.
1. On 08.07.2020, the Israeli occupation forces arrested Bassam Al-Hallaq (Director of the Reconstruction Committee at Al-Aqsa Mosque) in the courtyards of Al-Aqsa Mosque.
2. At 16:00, the occupation forces arrested 2 citizens Iyad Al-Abbasi and Jamil Al-Abbasiin the Ras Al-Amud neighborhood of Jerusalem.
3. On the evening of 08.07.2020, the Israeli occupation forces arrested Rami Ghaith, a resident of Silwan, after a group of settlers attacked him while he was near the Al-Buraq Wall.
4. The detainee in Al-Issawiya village is: Omar Ahmad Khalil Mahmoud.
5. The two detainees in the town of Beit Annan are: Muath Mujahid Kamel Al-Matari and Muhammad Sharif Kamel Al-Matari.
On 08.07.2020, the Israeli occupation forces temporarily detained Khalil Al-Tufakji, and a number of other members of the Association for Arab Studies of the Orient House, as they stormed of the headquarters of the association and confiscating some of its contents, and later released them.
1. On the evening of 08.07.2020 during the raid of Al-Issawiya village, the Israeli occupation forces fired tear gas and tear gas canisters at the citizens, on the pretext that they were throwing rocks while they were patrolling.

2. At 16:00, the Israeli occupation forces demolished a room built of tin steel owned by Ismail Eid Omar Samreen, in the Wadi Al-Rababa neighborhood in the Silwan neighborhood of Jerusalem.
1. At 08:30, the Israeli occupation forces, in the destruction of Wadi Al-Joz neighborhood in Jerusalem, confiscated a commercial facility (a brick factory), 3 bulldozers, two forklifts, dump machines, concrete casting, tiles, and stones.
2. At 16:00, the Israeli occupation forces confiscated a shipping container in the Al-Buqan neighborhood of Anata town from inside a plot of land belonging to the family of Ibrahim.
3. On 08.07.2020, the Israeli occupation forces confiscated some of the contents of the headquarters of the Arab Studies Association, which is affiliated with the Orient House.
At 09:00,groups of extremist settlers, under the protection of the occupation police, stormed the courtyards Al-Aqsa Mosque, and made provocative tours of its courtyards and facility.
1. At 01:20, Israeli forces raided Silwad town and conducted patrol.
2. At 02:00, Israeli forces raided the city of Al-Bireh and the town of Beituniya, where clashes took place with the citizens during the raid on a number of houses, and arrested 3 citizens (including a university student), and withdrew at 04:30.
The 3 detainees in the city of Al-Bireh and the town of Beitunia are: The university student - Ruba Fahmi Assi - residents of the town of Beitunia, Hussein Abu Kweik - residents of the town of Beitunia, and Jamal al-Tawil - residents of the city of Al-Bireh.
At 02:00, the Israeli occupation forces, while storming the city of Al-Bireh and the town of Petunia, fired rubber-coated metal bullets and sound and tear gas canisters towards the citizens, under the pretext that they were throwing rocks while they were storming a number of houses.
1. At 01:25, Israeli forces raided Maythaloun town and detained a resident.
2. At 03:30, Israeli forces raided Jenin city, detained 3 residents then withdrew at 04:00.
1. At 11:05, the occupation forces arrested the citizen: Muhammad Taher Zughaibi, a resident of the city of Jenin, while he was reviewing the Israeli intelligence, upon prior notification.
2. At 24:00, the Israeli occupation forces arrested a military roadblock on the main road, Jenin - Nablus. Citizen: Muhammad Falah Yusef Owais, a resident of the Jenin refugee camp.
3. Detained in the town of Maithaloun is: Majed Hafez Nairat.
4. The 3 detainees in Jenin are: Abdullah Afif Zakarneh, Alam Masad, and Bassam Ahmed Tayeh.
At 19:30, Israeli forces raided Ein Al-Bayda village located in the North Jordan valley until 20:05.
At 12:00, Israeli forces issued a military order for the confiscation of 3.5 dunums of land located in Shufa village for alleged military purposes.
At 19:20, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the east entrance of Qalqiliya city to search cars and verify citizens identities.
1. At 04:35, Israeli forces raided Qalqiliya city, detained a resident then withdrew at 05:40.
2. At 05:20, Israeli forces raided Jayyous town then stormed and searched a home.
Israeli forces detained Abdel-Rahman Mahmoud Soliman Hanini in Qalqiliya city.
At 17:40, Israeli forces confiscated a bulldozer owned by Uday Hassan Yunis as he was working on a plot of land owned by Farouq Quzmar {a resident of Ibzit Soliman village} located in Tanurat area in North Sinariya village.
At 16:50,Israeli forces temporarily detained 3 residents: Fadi Rabhi Yassin, Anas Muhammad Yassin, and Ihab Darawsheh, near Assira Al-Shamaliya town and released them at 20:40.
1. At 12:40, a group of settlers installed agricultural land belonging to the village of Al-Sawiya village, a number of the West built of tin, barracks and tents, in an attempt to establish a new outpost near the "Rahalim" colony.

At 10:35,the Israeli occupation forces increased their procedures at the Hamra checkpoint, impeding traffic.
At 11:20 and again at 20:30,Israeli forces set up a checkpoint near the south entrance of Jericho city to search cars and check the identities of citizens.
At 02:45, Israeli forces raided Jericho city and Ain Al-Sultan camp, stormed and searched several homes then withdrew at 04:25.
1. At 11:20 and again at 14:20,Israeli forces set up a checkpoint in Aqbat Hasna area {located along the main road leading to the west villages of Bethlehem district} then searched vehicles and checked the identities of citizens until 15:10.
2. At 15:30,Israeli forces set up a checkpoint near the Al-Nashash Junction (the southern entrance to the city of Bethlehem) then searched vehicles and checked the identities of citizens until 16:40.
3. At 20:30,Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the east entrance of Teqou' town then searched vehicles and checked the identities of citizens until 21:30.
At 11:00, Israeli forces set up 2 checkpoints at the entrances of Al-Thahriya town and Al-Fuwwar camp to search cars and check the identities of citizens.
1. At 01:30,Israeli forces raided Hebron city , and detained a citizen.
2. At 02:20, Israeli forces raided the town of Beit Kahil and conducted the patrol.
3. At 03:10, Israeli forces raided the town of Sa'ir, where clashes took place with the citizens, during a raid on a house, and arrested a citizen.
4. At 04:15, Israeli forces raided Al-Shuyukh town, stormed the house of Eid Muhammad Halaiqa, and confiscated from his home an amount of 1000 NIS, as well as causing material damage to his private vehicle.
5. At dawn on 09.07.2010, Israeli forces raided the town of Yatta, and stormed a number of houses.
1. At 00:20 on 08.07.2020, Israeli forces detained A'ed Hazem Yusri Al-Haimouni during their raid into Hebron city {in addition to those mentioned in the previous report}.
2. At dawn on 08.07.2020, Israeli forces detained Fadi Ghneimat while storming the town of Surif (as mentioned in the previous report).
3. On 08.07.2020, Israeli forces detained Rida Al-Batsh in the Old City of Hebron.
4. The detainee in the city of Hebron is: Muhammad Salah Al-Qawasmi.
5. The detainee in Seir town is: Wajdi Nayef Ata Jaradat.
1. At 17:20, the Israeli occupation forces launched a sound and tear gas canister in the area of Bab al-Zawiya in the city of Hebron, claiming that they were throwing stones.

On the morning of 08.07.2020, several vehicles and bulldozers from the occupation army, with a cover of reconnaissance planes, stormed 50 meters into east Gaza City, and carried out excavation and bulldozing work

* Kerem Shalom Crossing - Kerem Shalom: 08. 07. 2020 is partially open (for the introduction of foodstuffs and goods, limited quantities of fuel, building materials for the private sector and internationally funded projects).
