DAILY SITUATION REPORT
08:00, 4th July 2020 – 08:00, 5th July 2020
At 12:00, Israeli forces closed Al-Jib Military checkpoint n front of the movement of those heading from Jerusalem to Ramallah, with the exception of the residents of the Khalayleh neighborhood in the village of Al-Jib, the residents of the village of Nabi Samuel, and the staff of the diplomatic agencies and the United Nations and their coordinator in advance.
At dawn on 05.07.2020, Israeli forces raided Al-Eisawiya village and detained 4 residents.
1. On 04.07.2020, Israeli forces positioned at Al-Khan Al-Ahmar Military checkpoint detained Saleh Majdi Abu Zied {a University student}.
2. At dawn on 05.07.2020, Israeli forces detained Hijazi Abu Subeih in Al-Tur neighborhood in Jerusalem city.
3. Israeli forces detained 4 residents: Muhammad Waseem Obaid, Ali Obaid, Muhammad Al Abbasi, and Mustafa Mustafa in Al-Eisawiya village.
At 02:15, Israeli forces raided Jenin city.
At 09:30, Israeli forces raided Quffin town, clashed with several residents as they stormed a home and inspected surveillance camera footage of the home then withdrew at 11:50.
At 09:30, Israeli forces fired stun and tear gas canisters towards several residents for alleged stoning as they stormed a home during their raid into Quffin town and as a result left several residents suffocated from tear gas inhalation.
1. At 17:00, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint along the main road connecting Azzun town and Sir village to search cars and check the identities of citizens.
2. At 19:40, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint in the area between Azzun and Kafr Thulth towns to search cars and check the identities of citizens until 21:00.
At 22:00, Israeli forces raided Azzun town until 23:30.
1. At 18:30,Israeli forces positioned near the eastern entrance (closed) in the village of Kafr Qaddum fired rubber-coated metal bullets and sound and tear gas canisters towards the protesting citizens, protesting the closure of the village entrance, on the pretext that they were throwing stones.
2. On the evening of 04.07.2020, Israeli forces positioned at the wall gate in Hablat town opened fire towards several laborers who were returning from work inside the Green Line.
At 20:40,Israeli forces closed Beit Furiq military checkpoint and impeded the free flow of traffic until reopening it at a later time.
At 12:20, a group of Israeli settlers from "Yitshar" settlement stormed Jurat Al-Lahf area in Huwarat town and set fire agricultural land planted with Olive tree during which resiednts were able to put out the fire.
At 10:25, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the North entrance of Salfit city to search cars and check the identities of citizens.
On the evening of 04.07.2020, Israeli forces raided Kafil Harris town and clashed with several residents.
On the evening of 04.07.2020, Israeli forces fired rubber coated steel bullets, stun and tear gas canisters towards several residents for alleged stoning during their raid into Kafil Harris town.
At 00:10, Israeli forces closed the steel entrance gate of Kafil Harris town, impeded the free flow of traffic then reopened it at 00:15.
1. At 10:30, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint near the North entrance of Jericho city, temporarily detained 2 National Security Force officers then released them at 11:25.
2. At 18:55 and again at 04:00,Israeli forces set up a checkpoint near the south entrance of Jericho city to search cars and check the identities of citizens.
3. At 21:20,Israeli forces set up a checkpoint near the North entrance of Jericho city to search cars and check the identities of citizens until 23:05.
At 10:30, Israeli forces positioned at a flying checkpoint at the North entrance of Salfit city temporarily detained 2 National Security force officers: Osama Asba and Ghassan Omar then released them at 11:25.
At 18:40,Israeli forces tightened their procedures at the (Al-Container) checkpoint, and impeded the movement of traffic until 18:50.
1. At 12:40, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the west entrance of Beit Fajjar town then searched vehicles and checked the identities of citizens until 15:00.
2. At 21:35,Israeli forces set up a checkpoint near the Al-Nashash Junction (the southern entrance to the city of Bethlehem) then searched vehicles and checked the identities of citizens until 23:05.
At 00:15, Israeli forces raided Al-Khader town until 01:00.
At 11:00, Israeli forces positioned at Al-Container Military checkpoint temporarily seized a Palestinian Police Force bus and was allowed to pass after being searched and verified at the identities of those inside.
On 04.07.2020,the Israeli Settlement Council announced that it will start building 164 new housing units in the “Neve Daniel”settlement on the citizens ’lands affiliated to the town of Al-Khader, in order to create a new neighborhood in the name of the“ Neve Nof ”settlement, within the territories occupied in 1967.
1. At 15:30, Israeli forces raided Bani Na'im town.
2. At 22:50, Israeli forces raided Ithna town, served military orders to halt construction of 2 homes owned by Ali Abdel-Hadi Farjallah and Abdallah Mohammad Farjallah.
3. At dawn on 05.07.2020, Israeli forces raided Al-Arrub camp, detained a resident after assaulting him and as a result left him hospitalized with contusions.
Israeli forces detained Abdel-Kareem Khalid Abu Sal in Al-Arrub camp.
At 17:00, Israeli forces positioned at Bab Al-Zawiya area in Hebron city fired rubber coated steel bullets,stun and tear gas canisters towards several residents for alleged stoning and as a result left them suffocated from tear gas inhalation.
1. Israeli forces injured Abdel-Kareem Khalid Abu Sal after assaulting him as they were detaining him in Al-Arrub camp.
2. Israeli forces injured Mohammad Al-Natsha during clashes near Bab Al-Zawiya area in Hebron city.
• Since 19:00 on 26. 08. 2014 The permanent and comprehensive ceasefire came into effect on the initiative and sponsorship of the Arab Republic of Egypt, after reaching understandings to open the crossings and introduce humanitarian and relief assistance and reconstruction supplies, and to expand the area of fishing for 6 miles with an increase of up to 12 miles with At the end of this year, the area of the "buffer security" area will be reduced from 300 m to 100 m, freedom of movement and the prevention of assassinations, and the remaining issues, including the airport and the port, will be negotiated within a month of the ceasefire.

• The occupation forces violated the ceasefire, with the gunboats shooting towards the boats of the fishermen at sea in the central Gaza governorate.

* Al-Mantar-Karni crossing: closed since 02. 03. 2011 once and for all by unilateral Israeli decision.
* Shujaiya Crossing - "Nahal Oz" fuel crossing: closed since 04. 01. 2010 by unilateral Israeli decision.
On the morning of 04.06.2020, Israeli gunboats opened fire towards fishermen boats while chasing them at sea off the coast of Deir Al-Balah.
*Yasser Arafat International Airport is Closed.
*Sofa Crossing: closed.
* Kerem Shalom Crossing - Kerem Shalom on 04.07.2020 is closed (due to Saturday holidays).
