WEST BANK

JERUSALEM

Raid

At dawn today 01/30/2022, the Israeli occupation forces raided the town of Hizma, and detained 3 citizens.

Detention

1. At 20:05, the Israeli occupation forces positioned in the courtyards of Al-Aqsa Mosque detained the citizen: Muhammad Yasser Jaradat -a resident of Al-Saila Al-Harithiya town, Jenin governorate.
2. At dawn on 01/30/2022, the Israeli occupation forces detained 13 citizens Ashraf Al-Hadra, Majdi Al-Hadrah, Haitham Abu Al-Hawa, Mahmoud Bakr Abu Al-Hawa, Muhammad Wael Abu Al-Hawa, Muhammad Ghanem Mustafa, Muhammad Musa Mustafa, Amir Magdy Mustafa , Daoud Abu Ryala, Abdel Bilal Mahmoud, Haitham Obaid, Hussein Obaid, and Anas Qarawi in the Al-Tur neighborhood in Jerusalem and in the village of Al-Isawiya.
3. The 3 detainees in the town of Hizma are: Muhammad al-Khatib, Nadim Abd al-Hamid al-Khatib, and Awdah Salam al-Khatib.

Attack

At 21:15, the Israeli occupation forces in the village of Sur Baher fired stun and tear gas canisters towards citizens for allegedly throwing and hurling Molotov cocktails.

RAMALLAH & AL BIREH

Flying Checkpoints

1. At 19:05, the Israeli occupation forces set up a checkpoint near the bridge of Atara town, to search vehicles and check the identities of the citizens.
2. At 19:25, the Israeli occupation forces set up a checkpoint at the entrance to Ras Karkar village, to search vehicles and check the identities of the citizens.

Settlers Attacks

At 22:00, a group of Israeli settlers near the "Shilo" settlement junction threw stones at the vehicles of citizens passing on the main road Ramallah - Nablus, causing material damage to the vehicle of the citizen: Issa Ishaq Sufyan Yassin - residents of Ramallah.

TULKAREM

Military Checkpoints

At 19:40, the Israeli occupation forces tightened their restrictions at the Ainaf checkpoint, and obstructed traffic until 20:35.

QALQILIYA

Attack

At 14:45, the Israeli occupation forces, positioned near the (closed) eastern entrance in the village of Kafr Qaddoum, fired rubber-coated metal bullets, stun and tear gas canisters towards demonstrators protesting against the closure of the entrance to the village, for alleged stoning which led to the injury of 2 civilians and left a number of citizens suffocated as a result of inhaling tear gas.

Injuries

The two unidentified civilians were injured wounded during confrontations with the Israeli occupation forces near the (closed) eastern entrance in the village of Kafr Qaddoum.

NABLUS

Military Checkpoints

At 23:55, the Israeli occupation forces closed the checkpoints of Hawara and the town of Beit Furik (on the pretext that unknown assailants had opened fire at a position of the occupation forces near the village of Tal), in front of traffic, and reopened them at a later time.

SALFIT

Flying Checkpoints

At 21:30, the Israeli occupation forces set up a checkpoint at the western entrance to the town of Kafr ad-Dik, to search vehicles and check the identities of the citizens.

BETHLEHEM

Flying Checkpoints

1. At 19:20, the Israeli occupation forces set up a checkpoint at the entrance to Wadi Fukin village, to search vehicles and check citizens' identities until 20:05.
2. At 20:05, the Israeli occupation forces set up a checkpoint in the Aqabat Hasna area (on the main road leading to the western villages in Bethlehem governorate), to search vehicles and check citizens' identities until 21:35.

HEBRON

Flying Checkpoints

At 20:10, the Israeli occupation forces set up a checkpoint at the entrance to the Farsh al-Hawa area, north of Hebron (branched from the bypass line 35), to search cars and check citizens' identities until 21:10.

Assaults on Property

At 10:00, the Israeli occupation forces on Al-Shallala Street in the Old City of Hebron forced shop owners to close their shops

Settlers Attacks

At 14:00, a group of Israeli settlers near the village of Khirbet Zanouta, south of the town of Al Dhaheriya, threw stones at a number of citizens while they were grazing sheep on pastoral lands.

GAZA STRIP

ALL DISTRICTS

• At 02:00 on 05/21/ 2021, the comprehensive ceasefire entered into force at the initiative and sponsorship of the Arab Republic of Egypt.
• On the morning of 07/30/ 2021, the Israeli occupation forces allowed the expansion of the marine fishing area from 9 nautical miles to 12 nautical miles.
• The Israeli occupation forces violated the cease-fire agreement by firing from their positions on the Green Line in Khan Yunis governorate, and by gunboats firing at fishermen's boats at sea in the governorates of North Gaza, Khan Yunis, and Rafah.

NORTHERN GAZA

Closure of Crossing Points

* Beit Hanoun Crossing - "Erez": On 01/ 29/2022 it is closed (due to the Saturday holiday).

Attack

At 22:15 on 01/29/2022, Israeli gunboats fired at the fishermen's boats while chasing them in the open sea off the coast of Al-Sudaniya area, west of the town of Beit Lahia.

Detention

At 19:45 on 01/29/2022, the Israeli occupation forces detained a unidentified citizen north of the town of Beit Lahia, while he was trying to infiltrate through the border fence into Israel.

GAZA

Closure of Crossing Points

* Al-Muntar-Karni crossing: closed since 02/03/2011, permanently and by a unilateral Israeli decision.
* Shejaiya Crossing - “Nahal Oz” for fuel: closed since 04. 01. 2010, by unilateral Israeli decision.

KHAN YUNIS

Attack

1. At 16:15 on 01/29/2022, Israeli gunboats fired at fishermen’s boats while chasing them at sea off the shore of Khan Yunis.
2. At 16:30 on 01/29/2022, the occupation forces fired from their positions on the Green Line, towards agricultural lands east of Al-Fukhari town, southeast of Khan Yunis.
3. At 22:00 on 01.29.2022, Israeli gunboats fired at the fishermen’s boats while chasing them at sea off the shore of Khan Yunis.

RAFAH

Closure of Crossing Points

* Yasser Arafat International Airport: closed.
* Sofa crossing: closed.
* Kerem Shalom - Kerem Shalom Crossing: on 01/29/2022 is closed (due to the Saturday holiday).
* Al-Awda port - Rafah: on 01/29/2022 is closed.

Attack

At 15:30 on 01/29/2022, Israeli gunboats fired at the fishermen's boats while chasing them at sea off the shore of Rafah.
