WEST BANK

JERUSALEM

Raid

At 11:30, the Israeli occupation forces raided Qalandia camp, and clashes took place with the citizens, which led to the death of a citizen, as a result of suffocation due to tear gas inhalation, and 6 civilians were injured, and a citizen was detained

Detention

1. At 14:00, the Israeli occupation forces detained the citizen: Muhammad Saeed Al-Ghoul, in Ras Al-Amoud neighborhood in Jerusalem, after emptying his house in preparation for its demolition.
2. At 16:00, the Israeli occupation forces positioned near the entrance to the town of Hizma detained the citizen: Muntasir Ahmed Muhammad Salah El-Din - residents of Hizma town.
3. At 16:00, the Israeli occupation forces detained the citizen: Abdullah Al-Ghazali - residents of Al-Eizariya town.
4. At 19:00, the Israeli occupation forces detained the citizen: Salah El-Din Hadra - residents of Al-Tur neighborhood in Jerusalem.
5. At 20:00, the Israeli occupation forces detained 4 citizens (including a citizen and 2 of his children) :Adam Al-Jolani, Ahmed Zaghal, and his two sons Ibrahim and Hussein. in Silwan neighborhood in Jerusalem.
6. The detainee in Qalandia camp is: Ahmed Hassan Fayez Mutair.

Attack

At 11:30, the Israeli occupation forces fired rubber-coated metal bullets, stun and tear gas canisters towards citizens for alleged stoning during their raid into Qalandia camp.

Killings

The civilian: : Fahmi Abdel Raouf Ali Hamad, 57 years old died as a result suffocation after inhaling tear gas during confrontations with the Israeli occupation forces in Qalandia camp.

Injuries

The 6 civilians injured during confrontations with the Israeli occupation forces in Qalandia camp (of those identified): Muhammad Khaled Issa Darraj, Faris Shukri Aziz Maali, and Issam Mutair.

Obstruction of Places of Worship

At 08:00, groups of extremist Israeli settlers, under the protection of the Israeli occupation police, stormed the courtyards of Al-Aqsa Mosque, and made provocative tours of its courtyards and facilities.

RAMALLAH & AL BIREH

Flying Checkpoints

At 16:10, the Israeli occupation forces set up a checkpoint at the entrance to Silwad town (near the "Ofra" settlement), to search vehicles and check the identities of citizens.

1. At 01:40, the Israeli occupation forces raided the village of Khirbet Abu Falah, detained a citizen, and withdrew at 02:25.
2. At 01:40, the Israeli occupation forces raided the village of Abu Shkhaydam, and detained a citizen.

3. At 03:40, the Israeli occupation forces raided the town of Halhul, detained 4 civilians, and withdrew at 04:50.

Detention

1. At 00:10 on 01/24/ 2022, the Israeli occupation forces detained the citizen: Zayed Ismail Al-Awawda during their raid into the village of Al-Burj (as mentioned in the previous report).
2. The detainee in the city of Hebron is: Nadi Abdel Halim Daoud Abu Sneina.
3. The 4 detainees in the town of Halhul are: Ahmed Adnan Madiah, Muhammad Amir Abu Rayan, Ali Awni Abu Zalta, and Nour Amjad Al-Arja.

GAZA STRIP

ALL DISTRICTS

* Kerem Shalom crossing - “Kerem Shalom”: on 01/24/ 2022 is partially open (for the entry of foodstuffs and goods, limited quantities of fuel and cooking gas, and building materials for the private sector and for internationally funded projects).
* Al-Awda- Rafah crossing: on 01/24/ 2022 is open in both directions (for citizens to leave and enter).
