DAILY SITUATION REPORT
08:00,24th January 2021 -08:00, 25th January 2021
1. At 14:15, the Israeli occupation forces positioned near the entrance to the village of Ejza, detained 4 citizens: Mutasim Ahmed Gharib - a resident of Beit Ejza village, Majd Ramadan Abu Kafiyyah - a resident of Beit Ejza village, Muhammad Salim Gharib -a resident of Beit Ejza village, and Yasir Musa Eid Salem -a resident of Bedouin town.
2. At 14:20, the Israeli occupation forces detained Saber Abu Nab, in the Silwan neighborhood of Jerusalem.
3. At 16:15, the Israeli occupation forces detained Amir Al-Maliki in Jerusalem the citizen.
4. At 17:40, the Israeli occupation forces positioned near Al-Asbat Gate (one of the gates leading to Al-Aqsa Mosque) in the Old City of Jerusalem detained the citizen: Muhammad Al-Bashiti.
1. At 18:45, the Israeli occupation forces fired stun grenades and tear gas canisters towards several residents for alleged stoning in the Shuafat camp in Jerusalem
2. At 21:15, the Israeli occupation forces fired stun grenades and tear gas canisters towards several residents for alleged stoning in Al-Tur neighborhood of Jerusalem city.
1. At 08:30, a group of extremist settlers, under the protection of the occupation police, stormed the courtyards of Al-Aqsa Mosque, and conducted provocative tours in its courtyards and facilities.
2. On 01/24/2021, the occupation Police stormed the Dome of the Rock Mosque in the courtyards of Al-Aqsa Mosque, and prevented the Reconstruction Committee staff from restoring the tiles inside it (for the second day in a row), which has been ongoing for two weeks.
1. At 08:40, the Israeli occupation forces set up 3 checkpoints at the entrances to the villages of Ein Yabroud and Beitin, and under the bridge of Deir Dibwan town, to search cars and verify citizens' identities.
2. At 19:25, the Israeli occupation forces set up a checkpoint at the entrance to the town of Aboud, to search cars and verify citizens' identities.
1. At 15:00, the Israeli occupation forces raided the village of Deir Abu Mishaal, where clashes took place with the citizens while on patrol, wounding 2 civilians (one of whom was a child).
2. At 03:05, the Israeli occupation forces raided Beitunia town, detained a citizen, and withdrew at 06:45.
3. At 03:20, the Israeli occupation forces raided the village of Kafr Naama and detained 3 citizens.
4. At dawn, 25/01/2021,the Israeli occupation forces raided Bir Zeit town and detained a citizen.
5. At dawn, 25/01/2021, the Israeli occupation forces raided Beit Rima town, and detained a university student.
1. The detainee in the town of Beitunia is: Ahmed Noah Harish.
2. The 3 detainees in the town of Kafr Na'imah are: Muhammad Abu Adi, Muhammad Nabil Abdo, and Muhammad Naji Abdo.
3. The detainee in Bir Zeit town is: Thaer Wash'hat
4. The detainee in the town of Beit Rima is: University student - Omar Jamil al-Rimawi.
At 15:00, the Israeli occupation forces fired rubber-coated metal bullets, stun grenades and tear gas towards several citizens for alleged stoning during their raid into Deir Abu Mishaal and as a result injured 2 citizens (including a child).
The two civilians wounded, during clashes with the occupation forces in the village of Deir Abu Mishaal, are: Muhammad Yusef Atta, 17, and Mahmoud Hussein Odeh Al-Barghouti.
1. At 09:35, the Israeli occupation forces tightened their procedures at Shoufah checkpoint, and obstructed traffic until 13:00.
2. At 17:30, the Israeli occupation forces tightened their procedures at "Ainaf" checkpoint, and obstructed traffic.
At 23:40, the Israeli occupation forces set up a checkpoint at the entrance to the town of Beit Lid, to search cars and verify citizens' identities until 00:30.
On the morning of 01/24/2021, the Israeli occupation forces present at the gate of the apartheid wall near the village of Faroun, south of Tulkarm, fired stun and tear gas canisters towards a number of workers, while they were trying to enter to work inside the Green Line and as a result a civilian died of a heart attack after suffocating from tear gas inhalation.
Fouad Sebti Joudeh {48 years old - resident of Iraq Al-Tayeh village, Nablus governorate} died as a result of suffering a heart attack after inhaling the tear gas fired by the Israeli occupation forces at the gate of the Separation Wall near the village of Faroun, south of Tulkarm.
1. At 20:20, the Israeli occupation forces set up a checkpoint at the entrance to Azzun town, to search cars and verify citizens' identities.
2. At 07:20, the Israeli occupation forces set up a checkpoint at the entrance to the village of Ezbet El-Tabib, to search cars and verify citizens' identities.
At 01:30, the Israeli occupation forces raided the village of Seniriya, detained 2 citizens, and withdrew at 05:15.
The two detainees in the village of Seniria are: Mahmoud Ali Mahmoud Omar and Anis Mazouz Younis.
1. At 10:25, the Israeli occupation forces raided the village of Sorra and served a notice to demolish a house owned by the citizen: Mustafa Sidqi Awad Turabi, under the pretext of not having a permit .
2. At 01:45, the Israeli occupation forces raided Tal village, detained a citizen then withdrew at 03:30.
1. At 21:45, the Israeli occupation forces positioned at Huwara checkpoint detained Salim Yusef al-Rajoub - a resident of Dura.
2. The detainee in Tal village is: Farouk Adnan Al-Saifi.
At 21:50, the Israeli occupation forces tightened their procedures at the Zaatarah Junction checkpoint, and obstructed traffic.
1. At 09:50, the Israeli occupation forces set up a checkpoint at the entrance to the town of Qarawat Bani Hassan, to search cars and verify citizens' identities until 11:50.
2. At 20:00, the Israeli occupation forces set up a checkpoint at the entrance to the town of Kafeel Haris, to search cars and verify citizens' identities.
3. At 22:00, the Israeli occupation forces set up a checkpoint at the entrance to the town of Deir Ballut, to search cars and verify citizens' identities.
1. At 09:45 and again at 18:20, the Israeli occupation forces set up a checkpoint at the southern entrance to Jericho to search cars and check citizens' identities until 20:00.
2. At 10:35, the Israeli occupation forces set up a checkpoint at the northern entrance to Jericho, to search cars and verify citizens' identities 11:35.
1. At 08:30, the Israeli occupation forces set up a checkpoint near Al-Nashash Junction (the southern entrance to Bethlehem), to search cars and check citizens' identities until 10:30.
2. At 17:00 and again at 20:30, the Israeli occupation forces set up a checkpoint at the northern entrance to the town of Tuqu ' to search cars and check citizens' identities until 21:15.
3. At 20:20, the Israeli occupation forces set up a checkpoint at the western entrance to Husan village, to search cars and verify citizens' identities at 21:30.
At 20:30, the Israeli occupation forces raided Dheisheh camp in Bethlehem, and detained 2 citizens (brothers).
The two detainees in Dheisheh camp in Bethlehem are: Rani Fahmi Muhammad Qawar, and his brother Muhannad.
At 23:30, the Israeli occupation forces raided the city of Hebron, and 7 citizens:Ahmed Yasser Al-Sharabati, Anas Sidqi Al-Ja`bah, Muhammad Radwan Al-Hashlamoun, Talib Dweik, Tariq Dweik, Youssef Othman Salhab, and Yazan Imad Nirukh. were handed notifications to review the Israeli intelligence
At 10:20, the Israeli occupation forces positioned in front of Al-Aroub camp, fired stun grenades and tear gas towards several citizens located near entrance to the camp for alleged stoning.
On 01/24/2021, a group of settlers from the "Carmiel" settlement, east of Yatta, attacked a number of citizens while they were grazing sheep in the Al-Tha`la area, south of the colony, and prevented them from entering pastoral lands, and attacked their sheep.
• At 19:00 on 26/08/2014, the permanent and comprehensive ceasefire came into effect with the initiative and patronage of the Arab Republic of Egypt, after reaching understandings to open the crossings, the introduction of humanitarian and relief aid and reconstruction requirements, and expanding the fishing area to a distance of 6 miles with the increase in distance Up to 12 miles by the end of this year, reducing the "security buffer" zone from 300 meters to 100 meters, freedom of movement and preventing assassinations. Other issues, including the airport and the port, will be negotiated within a month of the ceasefire.
• On the morning of June 28, 2019, the occupation forces allowed the expansion of the fishing distance from opposite the Al-Waha area northwest of the town of Beit Lahiya in the northern Gaza governorate and up to the Gaza port by a distance of 6 nautical miles, and from opposite the Gaza port to the south of the coast of Rafah to 15 nautical miles.
• On 01/09/2020, the occupation forces re-expanded the fishing distance from the front of the Al-Waha area northwest of the town of Beit Lahia in the northern Gaza governorate and up to the Gaza port by a distance of 6 nautical miles, and from opposite the Gaza port to the south of the coast of Rafah to 15 nautical miles. After it imposed on 08/16/2020 a complete closure on the maritime domain in front of the fishermen's boats in front of the Gaza Strip.
• the Israeli occupation forces violated the ceasefire aggreement by firing from their positions on the Green Line in North Gaza Governorate and as a result wounded a citizen.
* Beit Hanoun Crossing - "Erez": on 01/24/2021 is closed (except for the passage of emergency humanitarian cases).
At 14:30 on 01/24/2021, the Israeli occupation forces fired from their positions on the Green Line towards agricultural lands north of Beit Lahia town, and as a result wounded a citizen.
The civilian wounded in north Beit Lahia town is unidentified.
* Al-Muntar-Karni crossing: closed since 02/03/2011, permanently and by a unilateral Israeli decision.
* Shejaiya Crossing - “Nahal Oz” for fuel: closed since 04. 01. 2010, by unilateral Israeli decision.
* Yasser Arafat International Airport: closed.
* Sofa Crossing: closed.
* Kerem Shalom Crossing - "Kerem Shalom": On 01/24/2021, it is partially open (for the entry of foodstuffs, goods, building materials, and limited quantities of fuel).
* Al-Awda- Rafah crossing: on 01/24/2021 is closed.
