DAILY SITUATION REPORT
08:00, 23rd January 2022 -08:00, 24th January 2022
At 10:00, the Israeli occupation authorities hung a billboard in the al-Tantour area in the village of Beit Safafa, announcing their intention to confiscate 150 dunums in order to build new settlement streets.
At 08:00, groups of extremist Israeli settlers, under the protection of the Israeli occupation police, stormed the courtyards of Al-Aqsa Mosque, and made provocative tours of its courtyards and facilities.
1. At 09:30, the Israeli occupation forces set up a checkpoint at the entrance to the village of Nabi Saleh, to search vehicles and check the identities of citizens until 14:30.
2. At 10:40, the Israeli occupation forces set up a checkpoint in the Wadi El-Delb area near Ras Karkar village, to search vehicles and check the identities of citizens.
1. At 04:30, the Israeli occupation forces raided the town of Ni'lin and detained a citizen.
2. At 04:30, the Israeli occupation forces raided the village of Kharbatha Al-Misbah, and detained a citizen.
1. The detainee in Ni’lin is: Barakat Fayez Al-Khawaja.
2. The detainee in the village of Kharbatha Al-Misbah is: Riad Zuhdi Ibrahim Daraj.
At 09:45, the Israeli occupation forces razed an area of agricultural land in the village of Dura Al-Qaraa.
At 04:10, the Israeli occupation forces raided the town of Jaba, and detained 2 civilians.
The two detainees in the town of Jaba are: Ikrima Ahmed Fayez Kanaan, and Qusai Salah Khaliliya.
At 11:40, a group of Israeli settlers in the Khallet al-Makhoul area in the northern Jordan Valley grazing their cows on the citizens' agricultural lands, which led to the destruction of rain-fed agricultural crops.
At 09:00, the Israeli occupation forces raided the village of Hajja.
At 02:45 on 23/01/2022, the Israeli occupation forces detained the citizen: Ahmed Nour Abdel Rahman Rayan during their raid into Azzoun town (in addition to what was mentioned in the previous report).
At 12:40, the Israeli occupation forces closed the road linking the village of Burqa and the Masoudiya area, with earth mounds, and reopened it at 16:15.
At 16:50, a group of Israeli settlers near the village of Ein Shibli chased after a number of citizens while they were grazing their sheep in the pastoral lands.
At 17:00, the Israeli occupation forces set up a checkpoint at the eastern entrance to the village of Marda, to search vehicles and check citizens' identities.
1. At 12:20, the Israeli occupation forces raided the town of Kafr Haris.
2. At 00:50, the Israeli occupation forces raided the town of Al-Zawiya until 01:00.
At 11:40, the Israeli occupation forces confiscated the municipal council’s garbage vehicle in the town of Al-Zawiya, while it was on its way to unload its contents at the landfill on the western side of the town.
At 16:00, the Israeli occupation forces closed the road leading to the landfill in the Harayek Sarhan area of the village of Sarta, and prevented waste vehicles from arriving to unload their cargo at the landfill.
1. At 10:00, a group of Israeli settlers stormed the village of Qira, and damaged the tires of 7 citizens' vehicles and wrote racist (anti-Arab) Slogans in Hebrew on the walls.
2. At 15:10, a group of Israeli settlers entered the agricultural lands of the citizens in the Derya area of the town of Kafr ad-Dik, and uprooted a number of olive saplings that had been planted on 01.21. 2022, and planted forest saplings in their place.
At 13:40, the Israeli occupation forces set up a checkpoint at the southern entrance to the city of Jericho, to search vehicles and check citizens' identities until 14:20.
At 02:45, the Israeli occupation forces raided the city of Jericho, detained a citizen, and withdrew at 03:20.
The detainee in the city of Jericho is: Ayoub Muhammad Yahya al-Akhras.
1. At 20:55, the Israeli occupation forces set up a checkpoint near the junction of the Nashash area, the southern entrance to Bethlehem, to search vehicles and check the identities of citizens until 22:00.
2. At 21:05, the Israeli occupation forces set up a checkpoint at the western entrance to the town of Beit Fajjar, to search vehicles and check citizens' identities until 22:15.
1. At 01:50, the Israeli occupation forces raided the town of Doha, stormed and searched a house and a lathe, and withdrew at 02:35.
2. At 05:55, the Israeli occupation forces raided the cities of Bethlehem and Beit Sahour, and patrolled until 07:10.
At 07:20 on 01/23/ 2022, the Israeli occupation forces set up a checkpoint on Wadi Sa`ir road, to search vehicles and check citizens' identities until 14:00.
1. At 00:10, the Israeli occupation forces raided the villages of Al-Burj and Deir Al-Asal, and conducted a patrol.
2. At 07:50, the Israeli occupation forces raided the city of Hebron and detained a citizen.
The detainee in the city of Hebron is: Assem Elias Abu Eisha.
At 08:50, the Israeli occupation forces razed near the settlement of "Nogohot", which is established in the east of the town of Beit Awa, an area of citizens' lands owned by citizens of the family: Abu Sharar
• At 02:00 on 05/21/ 2021, the comprehensive ceasefire entered into force at the initiative and sponsorship of the Arab Republic of Egypt.
• On the morning of 07/30/ 2021, the Israeli occupation forces allowed the expansion of the marine fishing area from 9 nautical miles to 12 nautical miles.
• The Israeli occupation forces violated the ceasefire agreement by firing from their positions on the Green Line towards the governorates of North Gaza, Gaza, and Rafah.
* Beit Hanoun crossing - “Erez”: On 01/23/ 2022, it is partially open (for the passage of humanitarian cases, foreign journalists, workers of international humanitarian organizations, merchants, businessmen and travelers through the Al-Karama Crossing “Allenby” - previously coordinated for them).
At 14:30 on 01/23/ 2022, the Israeli occupation forces fired live ammunition and fired tear gas canisters from their positions on the Green Line, towards a number of citizens near the border fence east of the town of Beit Hanoun.
* Al-Muntar-Karni crossing: closed since 02/03/2011, permanently and by a unilateral Israeli decision.
* Shejaiya Crossing - “Nahal Oz” for fuel: closed since 04. 01. 2010, by unilateral Israeli decision.
At 09:40 on 01/23/ 2022, the Israeli occupation forces fired from their positions on the Green Line, towards agricultural lands east of Juhr al-Dik town, southeast of Gaza City.
* Yasser Arafat International Airport: closed.
* Sofa crossing: closed.
* Kerem Shalom crossing - “Kerem Shalom”: on 01/23/ 2022 is partially open (for the entry of foodstuffs and goods, limited quantities of fuel and cooking gas, and building materials for the private sector and for internationally funded projects).
* Al-Awda- Rafah crossing: on 01/23/ 2022 is open in both directions (for citizens to leave and enter).
