DAILY SITUATION REPORT
08:00, 20th January 2022 -08:00, 21st January 2022
1. At 05:00, the Israeli occupation forces raided the town of Bedouin, where clashes took place with the citizens, during which they fired, stun and tear gas canisters towards citizens for alleged stoning and detained a citizen.
2. At 21:30, the Israeli occupation forces raided the town of Bedouin and detained a citizen.
The two detainees in the town of Bedouin are: Khaled Muhammad Jamil Al-Sheikh - 29 years old, and Zuhair Ali Hemeidat - from the town.
At 05:00 on the morning of 01/ 21/ 2022, the Israeli occupation forces fired live ammunition, stun and tear gas canisters towards citizens during confrontations that took place in the town of Bedouin. No injuries were reported from the clashes.
At 11:00, the Israeli occupation forces handed the citizen Mahmoud Salhia from Sheikh Jarrah neighborhood, in addition to 4 other citizens whom they had previously detained, a decision to deport them for a month from Sheikh Jarrah neighborhood and pledge to pay a fine of 5000 shekels in case of violation.
At 07:00, groups of extremist Israeli settlers, under the protection of the Israeli occupation police, stormed the courtyards of Al-Aqsa Mosque, and made provocative tours of its courtyards and facilities.
1. At 08:30, the Israeli occupation forces raided the village of Sinjel, where confrontations took place with the citizens, during which they fired live ammunition, stun and tear gas canisters towards civilians for alleged stoning and as a result injured a citizen then withdrew at 13:30.
2. On the morning of 01/20/2022, the Israeli occupation forces raided the town of Beit Liqya and detained a citizen.
3. At 00:55 on 01/21/2022 a special force of the Israeli occupation forces raided the Aboud town bus, where a group of village youths confronted them and prevented them from entering the village.
4. At 01:40, the Israeli occupation forces raided the town of Sinjel and detained a citizen.
The detainee in the town of Beit Liqya is: Tariq Musa Mahmoud Assi - 45 years old.
The detainee in the town of Sinjel is: Musa Osama Tawafsha.
1. At 15:35, the Israeli occupation forces set up a flying checkpoint at the entrance to the town of Nabi Saleh to search cars and check the identities of the citizens.
2. At 21:25, the Israeli occupation forces set up a flying checkpoint at the entrance to the village of Batin to search cars and check the identities of the citizens.
At 08:30, the Israeli occupation forces fired live ammunition, stun and tear gas canisters towards citizens during clashes that took place in the village of Sinjel and as a result injured a child.
The Israeli occupation forces intensified their restrictions at the Dotan checkpoint, which is located near the town of Yabad.
At 17:50, the Israeli occupation forces raided the town of Rummaneh and set up a flying checkpoint in the town near Rummaneh Secondary School.
The Israeli occupation forces tightened their military measures at Tayseer checkpoint.
1. At 14:00, the Israeli occupation forces raided the village of Kafr Laqif under the pretext of throwing stones at settlers' cars near the main road. No arrests were reported.
2. At 14:40, the Israeli occupation forces raided the town of Azzoun and detained a citizen.
3. At 17:30, the Israeli occupation forces accompanied by a number of bulldozers raided the town of Kafr Qaddoum and closed a number of internal roads.
4. At 03:00, the Israeli occupation forces raided the town of Zita and detained 5 civilians before withdrawing at 05:30.
1. The detainee in the town of Azzun is: Yahya Walid Hussein.
2. The five detainees in the town of Zita are: Abdullah Muhannad Maasarwe, Mahmoud Fayez Maasarwe, Muhammad Fayez Masarwe, Muhammad Hassan al-Labadi and Zaid Hassan al-Labadi.
At 12:20, a group of settlers razed areas of land near the homes of citizens in the village of Jalud, southeast of Nablus, to expand the outpost established there.
At 09:05, the Israeli occupation forces raided the town of Al-Auja and detained a citizen before they withdrew at 11:50.
At 12:00, the Israeli occupation forces set up a flying checkpoint on the Al-Maarrajat road, to search vehicles and check the identities of citizens.
The detainee in the town of Al-Auja is the citizen: Muhammad Hassan Erinat.
At 21:05, a group of Israeli settlers was near the Arab Al-Malehat gathering area and fired repeatedly towards the area.
1. At 14:40, the Israeli occupation forces raided the town of Beit Fajjar, detained a citizen, and confiscated his motorcycle before withdrawing at 15:40.
2. At 18:20, the Israeli occupation forces raided the Harassa area in the town of Beit Sahour and withdrew at 18:55.
1. At 15:15, the Israeli occupation forces set up a surprise checkpoint at the entrance to the Al-Nashash area, stopping cars and checking the identities of citizens until 15:50.
2. At 16:45, the Israeli occupation forces set up a surprise checkpoint at the western entrance to the town of Husan, which stopped cars and checked the identities of the citizens.
3. At 18:25, the Israeli occupation forces set up a surprise checkpoint at the entrance to the town of Dar Salah, which stopped cars and checked the identities of the citizens.
4. At 19:05, the Israeli occupation forces set up a surprise checkpoint at the entrance to Al-Nashash, the southern entrance to Bethlehem, stopping cars and checking the identities of citizens until 19:25.
5. At 20:25, the Israeli occupation forces set up a surprise checkpoint at the western entrance to the town of Beit Fajjar, which stopped cars and checked the identities of citizens until 22:55
The detainee in the town of Beit Fajjar is the citizen: Mahmoud Faisal Thawabteh.
At 21:10, the Israeli occupation forces raided Bab Al-Zawiya area in Hebron city, where clashes took place with the citizens, during which the Israeli occupation forces fired live ammunition, stun and tear gas canisters towards civilians for alleged stoning and as a result injured a citizen with a rubber bullet to his right foot.
At 21:10, the Israeli occupation forces fired live ammunition, stun and tear gas canisters towards civilians for alleged stoning during their raid into Bab Al-Zawiya area in Hebron city and as a result injured a citizen with a rubber bullet to his right foot.
The civilian: Ahmed Judeh Qadim Abu Omar - 18 years old was injured after he was struck by a rubber coated steel bullet in his right foot during confrontations with the Israeli occupation forces during their raid into Bab Al-Zawiya area in Hebron city.
• At 02:00 on 05/21/ 2021, the comprehensive ceasefire entered into force at the initiative and sponsorship of the Arab Republic of Egypt.
• On the morning of 07/30/ 2021, the Israeli occupation forces allowed the expansion of the marine fishing area from 9 nautical miles to 12 nautical miles.
• The Israeli occupation forces violated the cease-fire agreement by firing from their positions on the Green Line towards Gaza, Central Gaza and Khan Yunis Governorates.
* Beit Hanoun crossing - “Erez”: On 01/20/ 2022, it is partially open (for the passage of humanitarian cases, foreign journalists, workers of international humanitarian organizations, merchants, businessmen and travelers through the Al-Karama Crossing “Allenby” - previously coordinated for them).
1. At 09:00 on 01/20/2022, the Israeli occupation forces present at the border fence in the area east of Gaza City fired towards our areas, but no injuries were reported.
2. At 00: on 01/20/2022, the Israeli occupation forces present at the border fence, east of Al-Zaytoun area, fired towards the southwestern areas of Gaza City. No injuries were reported.
At 00:20 on the morning of 01/21/ 2022, the Israeli occupation forces arrested a citizen during the process of crossing the separation fence, east of Al-Shujaiya area.
* Al-Muntar-Karni crossing: closed since 02/03/2011, permanently and by a unilateral Israeli decision.
* Shejaiya Crossing - “Nahal Oz” for fuel: closed since 04. 01. 2010, by unilateral Israeli decision.
At 14:30 on the morning of 01/ 20/ 2022, the Israeli occupation forces positioned at border fence, east of Al-Maghazi camp, fired live ammunition and tear gas canisters towards our areas, but no injuries were reported.
At 15:45 on 01/ 20/ 2022, the Israeli occupation forces positioned at the border fence, east of the Khuza’a area, fired live ammunition and tear gas canisters towards our areas, but no injuries were reported.
* Yasser Arafat International Airport: closed.
* Sofa crossing: closed.
* Kerem Shalom crossing - “Kerem Shalom”: on 01/20/ 2022 is closed
* Al-Awda- Rafah crossing: on 01/20/ 2022 is open in both directions (for citizens to leave and enter).
