DAILY SITUATION REPORT
08:00,18th January 2021 -08:00, 19th January 2021
At 21:45, the Israeli occupation forces raided the village of Al-Issawiya, and clashes took place with citizens as they stormed a number of homes.
1. At 09:00, the Israeli occupation forces positioned near Al-Majlis Gate (one of the doors leading to Al-Aqsa Mosque) in the Old City of Hebron detained Tariq Sanduqa (a guard of Al-Aqsa Mosque).
2. At 18:00, the Israeli occupation forces detained Rami Al-Fakhoury in the Old City of Jerusalem.
1. At 19:00, the Israeli occupation forces positioned in Al-Tur neighborhood in Jerusalem fired stun grenades and tear gas towards citizens ,for alleged stoning, as they stormed a number of homes.
2. At 21:45, the occupation forces fired stun and tear gas canisters at the citizens, during the storming of the village of Issawiya, under the pretext that they had been throwing stones while on patrol.
At 08:30, a group of extremist settlers, under the protection of the Israeli police, stormed the courtyards of Al-Aqsa Mosque, and conducted provocative tours in its courtyards and facilities.
At 01:50, the Israeli occupation forces raided Jalazoun camp, and delivered 4 notifications to Shadi Safi, Muhammad Safi, Abd Wadih Hasanin, and Firas Wadih Hasanin in order review the Israeli intelligence and withdrew at 04:00.
At 19:40, the Israeli occupation forces set up a checkpoint at the entrance to the village of Faqqua, and opened fire towards a vehicle under the pretext that it had not stopped at the checkpoint and as a result damage one of its tires.
1. At 13:55, the Israeli occupation forces raided Zbuba village, and conducted a patrol until 18:00.
2. At 14:00, the Israeli occupation forces raided Faqqua and Beit Qad villages, and conducted a patrol.
3. At 16:45, the Israeli occupation forces raided Rummana village, and patrolled until 18:00.
4. On 18/01/2021,the Israeli occupation forces raided the village of Deir Abu Daeef, and detained a citizen.
5. At 02:40, the Israeli occupation forces raided the towns of Araba and Kafr Ra'i, and the villages of Fahma and Al-Ramah, and detained 2 citizens (brothers) from the town of Kafr Ra’i, and withdrew at 04:35.
1. The detainee in the village of Deir Abu Daif is: Majdi Zafi Najeeb Awad.
2. The two detainees in the town of Kafr Ra'i are: Bilal Nabil Saeed Diab and his brother Bassam.
At 19:40, the Israeli occupation forces positioned at a flying checkpoint located at the entrance to the village of Faqqua, opened fire towards a vehicle owned by the citizen: Amjad Hassan Abu Khamis, under the pretext that it did not stop at the checkpoint and as a result damaged one of its tires.
At 21:20, the Israeli occupation forces positioned at the Tayasir checkpoint detained the citizen: Ali Moayad Ahmad Subaih - a resident of Tayasir village.
At 21:40, the Israeli occupation forces confiscated a truck owned by Tariq Rushdi Daqqa - residents of the town of Atil, near the separation wall near the plain of the town of Deir Al-Ghosoun.
At 15:45,the Israeli occupation forces set up a checkpoint at the entrance Izbit Al-Tabib village to search cars and verify citizens' identities.
At 00:20,the Israeli occupation forces raided Ra'ta village until 03:10.
1. At 23:30, the Israeli occupation forces raided the village of Madama, and delivered notices to demolish 8 houses and (storage dens), owned by the citizens: Muhammad Nidal Dawabsha (house under construction), Amin Rashid Dawabsha (house), Muhammad Yusef Dawabsha (House), Abu Jibril (house), Radwan Al-Sidawi (house), Musa Shehdeh (house under construction), Sidqi Abdullah Dawabsha (house), Mansour Khalil Dawabsha (house), Muhammad Fathi Dawabsha (Berks) under the pretext of lack of permits .
2. At 23:50, the Israeli occupation forces raided the northern Asira town, and patrolled until 03:55.
3. At 01:00,the Israeli occupation forces raided Tal village, and conducted a patrol until 03:55.
4. At 01:35,the Israeli occupation forces raided Beit Furiq town, Kafr Rujib and Salem villages and detained 2 citizens in Salem village.
The two detainees in Salem village are: Abd al-Rahman Iyad Jabour, and his brother, Adham.
At 02:25, a group of settlers, traveling in a private car, stormed Nablus, trying to enter (Joseph's Tomb), and fled as soon as they saw the Palestinian Civil Police patrol in charge of guarding the grave.
At 12:45 and again at 19:40, the occupation forces tightened their procedures at the Zaatarah Junction checkpoint and as a result obstructed traffic.
1. At 14:00,the Israeli occupation forces set up a checkpoint at the northern entrance to Salfit, to search cars and verify citizens' identities.
2. At 14:30, the Israeli occupation forces set up a checkpoint at the entrance to the town of Kafeel Haris, to search cars and verify citizens' identities.
3. At 21:00, the Israeli occupation forces set up a checkpoint at the entrance to the town of Deir Istiya, to search cars and verify citizens' identities.
At 02:00,the Israeli occupation forces raided the city of Salfit, stormed and searched a house, and confiscated from inside the amount of 1700 Jordanian dinars and 500 euros, and withdrew at 04:30.
At 02:00, the Israeli occupation forces confiscated the amount of 1700 Jordanian dinars and 500 Euros from the house of the prisoner: Imad Fatoni, during their raid into the city of Salfit.
At 10:05, the Israeli occupation forces set up a checkpoint at the northern entrance to Jericho, to search cars and verify citizens' identities.
1. At 15:45, the Israeli occupation forces set up a checkpoint in the Aqabat Hasanah area (on the main road leading to the western villages in Bethlehem governorate), to search cars and verify citizens' identities.
2. At 16:00, the Israeli occupation forces set up a checkpoint at the entrance to Husan village, to search cars and verify citizens' identities.
3. At 16:40, the Israeli occupation forces set up a checkpoint on the road between Nahalin town and Al-Jab'a village, to search cars and verify citizens' identities.
4. At 17:00 and again at 21:00, the occupation forces set up a checkpoint near the Nashash Junction (the southern entrance to Bethlehem) to search cars and check citizens' identities.
1. At 10:20, the Israeli occupation forces raided Bethlehem and the village of Artas, and patrolled until 11:20.
2. At 23:50, the Israeli occupation forces raided the village of Marah Rabah, and patrolled until 00:35.
1. At 14:20, the Israeli occupation forces set up a checkpoint in the village of Beit Einoun, to search cars and verify citizens' identities.
2. At 19:10, the Israeli occupation forces set up a checkpoint at the entrance to Al-Fawwar camp, to search cars and verify citizens' identities.
1. At dawn on 18/01/2021, the Israeli occupation forces raided Beit Kahil town and detained a resident.
2. At 02:00, the Israeli occupation forces Hebron city until 03:45.
3. At 02:00, the Israeli occupation forces raided Al-Fuwwar camp, detained a child then withdrew at 04:35.
1. At dawn on 18/01/2021,the Israeli occupation forces detained Fadi Ashour during their raid into Hebron city {in addition to those mentioned in the previous report}.
2. The detainee in Beit Kahil town is Issa Hussien Al-Asafrat.
3. The detainee in Al-Fuwwar camp is Salah Al-Din Mahmoud Mohammad Abu Warda {16 years old}.
• At 19:00 on 26/08/2014, the permanent and comprehensive ceasefire came into effect with the initiative and patronage of the Arab Republic of Egypt, after reaching understandings to open the crossings, the introduction of humanitarian and relief aid and reconstruction requirements, and expanding the fishing area to a distance of 6 miles with the increase in distance Up to 12 miles by the end of this year, reducing the "security buffer" zone from 300 meters to 100 meters, freedom of movement and preventing assassinations. Other issues, including the airport and the port, will be negotiated within a month of the ceasefire.
• On the morning of June 28, 2019, the occupation forces allowed the expansion of the fishing distance from opposite the Al-Waha area northwest of the town of Beit Lahiya in the northern Gaza governorate and up to the Gaza port by a distance of 6 nautical miles, and from opposite the Gaza port to the south of the coast of Rafah to 15 nautical miles.
• On 01/09/2020, the occupation forces re-expanded the fishing distance from the front of the Al-Waha area northwest of the town of Beit Lahia in the northern Gaza governorate and up to the Gaza port by a distance of 6 nautical miles, and from opposite the Gaza port to the south of the coast of Rafah to 15 nautical miles. After it imposed on 08/16/2020 a complete closure on the maritime domain in front of the fishermen's boats in front of the Gaza Strip.
• The Israeli occupation forces violated the ceasefire by raiding our areas in Khan Yunis.
* Beit Hanoun Crossing - "Erez": on 01/18/2021 is closed (except for the passage of emergency humanitarian cases).
* Al-Muntar-Karni crossing: closed since 02/03/2011, permanently and by a unilateral Israeli decision.
* Shejaiya Crossing - “Nahal Oz” for fuel: closed since 04. 01. 2010, by unilateral Israeli decision.
At 08:00 on 18/01/2021, several vehicles and bulldozers from the Israeli occupation military and a cover of reconnaissance aircraft raided our areas at a depth of about 50 meters east of the town of Al-Fokhari, southeast of Khan Yunis, and carried out digging and bulldozing works, and withdrew at 14:30.
* Yasser Arafat International Airport: closed.
* Sofa Crossing: closed.
* Kerem Shalom Crossing - "Kerem Shalom": on 01/18/2021, partially open (for the entry of foodstuffs, goods, building materials, and limited quantities of fuel).
* Al-Awda- Rafah crossing: on 01/18/2021, closed.
