DAILY SITUATION REPORT
08:00, 14th January 2022 -08:00, 15th January 2022
On 01/14/ 2022, the Israeli occupation forces set up a checkpoint at the entrance to the town of Bedouin, to search vehicles and check the identities of citizens.
1. At 14:30, the Israeli occupation forces positioned in the city of Jerusalem detained the citizen: Musab Abdel Salam Awad – a resident of Awarta village, Nablus governorate.
2. At 14:50, the Israeli occupation forces positioned in Jerusalem detained 2 citizens: Yahya Muhammad Abu Haniya and Qusai Zakaria Adwan - (both of them are residents of Qalqilya).
3. At 23:00, the Israeli occupation forces positioned in the city of Jerusalem detained the citizen: Jamal Jalal Al-Jaidi - residents of the city of Qalqilya.
4. At 23:30, the Israeli occupation forces positioned in the city of Jerusalem detained the citizen: Jihad Muhammad Salim Khrewish - residents of the city of Tulkarm.
At 12:00, a Israeli settler disguised as an Islamic settler tried to storm Al-Aqsa Mosque through the Majlis Gate (one of the doors leading to the mosque), while performing Friday prayers. Al-Aqsa Mosque guards thwarted his attempt and handed him over to the Israeli occupation police.
1. At 10:00, the Israeli occupation forces raided the town of Arraba and the villages of Merka, Kefirt and Bir al-Basha, and conducted a patrol.
2. At 11:30, the Israeli occupation forces raided the village of Al-Jalama.
At 23:05, the Israeli occupation forces tightened their procedures at the Ainaf checkpoint, and obstructed traffic until 23:50.
1. On 01/10/ 2022, the Israeli occupation forces detained the citizen: Uday Jasser Abdel Razek - residents of Shweika Suburb in Tulkarm, while he was visiting the Israeli intelligence, based on a prior notification.
2. At 05:20 on 01/14/2022, the Israeli occupation forces detained the citizen: Ghazi Ibrahim Maree during their raid into Zita town (in addition to what was mentioned in the previous report.
1. At 10:45 and again at 20:50, the Israeli occupation forces set up a checkpoint at the eastern entrance to the city of Qalqilya, and arrested a citizen to search vehicles and check the identities of citizens.
2. At 20:50, the Israeli occupation forces set up a checkpoint at the entrance to the Habla tunnel (the southern entrance to Qalqilya), to search vehicles and check the identities of citizens.
1. The detainee at a flying checkpoint at the eastern entrance to the city of Qalqilya is: Nidal Kayyal - residents of the city of Nablus.
2. At 11:00, the Israeli occupation forces detained the citizen: Youssef Al-Tabib - residents of Ezbet Al-Tabib village.
1. At 12:30, the Israeli occupation forces positioned near the (closed) eastern entrance in the village of Kafr Qaddoum, fired rubber-coated metal bullets, stun and tear gas canisters towards the demonstrators protesting against the closure of the entrance to the village for alleged stoning and as a result injuring 6 civilians and left a number of citizens suffered from suffocation due to inhalation of tear gas.
2. At 14:45, the Israeli occupation forces positioned in the vicinity of “Eyal” checkpoint, north of Qalqilya fired rubber-coated metal bullets, stun and tear gas towards citizens for alleged stoning and as a result injured a child.
1. The 6 unidentified civilians were wounded during confrontations with the Israeli occupation forces near the (closed) eastern entrance in the village of Kafr Qaddoum.
2. A unidentified child was injured during clashes with the Israeli occupation forces in the vicinity of "Eyal" checkpoint, north of Qalqilya.
At 12:20, the Israeli occupation forces raided the town of Beit Furik and conducted a patrol.
1. At 12:50, the Israeli occupation forces positioned in the vicinity of Jabal Sabih area in the town of Beita, fired live ammunition and rubber-coated metal bullets, stun and tear gas canisters towards citizens participating in a demonstration against settlers’ attacks and land confiscation for settlement projects, left a number of citizens suffocated due to inhalation of tear gas.
2. At 13:00, , the Israeli occupation forces positioned in the village of Beit Dajan fired rubber-coated metal bullets, stun and tear gas canisters towardss citizens participating in a demonstration against settlers’ attacks and land confiscation for settlement projects, wounding 8 civilians (including a journalist), and left 15 others suffocated due to inhalation of tear gas.
The 8 civilians wounded (including a journalist) during confrontations with the occupation forces in the village of Beit Dajan (known among them): Journalist - Muhammad Abd al-Karim Amjad al-Khatib.
At 14:15, a group of Israeli settlers was present in the vicinity of the Beit Furik checkpoint, and threw stones at citizens' vehicle and also assaulted the civilian: Barakat Adnan Nassara, as a result of which he sustained bruises, and he was admitted to the hospital for treatment.
1. At 16:25,the Israeli occupation forces raided the villages of Masha and Sarta, and conducted a patrol.
2. At 19:30, the Israeli occupation forces raided the town of Bruqin, and conducted the patrol until 21:15.
At 21:45, the Israeli occupation forces set up a checkpoint at the northern entrance to the town of Tekoa, to search vehicles and check the identities of citizens.
1. At 22:45, the Israeli occupation forces raided the towns of Za'tara and Janata and the village of Beit Ta'mar, and they patrolled until 23:30.
2. At 02:15, the Israeli occupation forces raided the town of Beit Fajjar, and arrested a citizen. They also handed the citizen: Imad Sami Taqatqa, a notice to refer to the Israeli intelligence, and withdrew at 03:10.
3. At 05:30, the Israeli occupation forces raided the city of Beit Jala, the towns of Doha and Al-Khader, and the Dheisheh camp in Bethlehem. Clashes took place with the citizens during a raid on a number of houses in the camp, as a result of which 2 civilians were injured, and 6 civilians (including a girl) were arrested. in Dheisheh camp, and withdrew at 07:30.
1. The detainee in the town of Beit Fajjar is: Iyad Sami Hassan Taqatqa.
2. The six detainees in the Dheisheh camp in Bethlehem are: Ashraf Muhammad Sajdiya, Hassan Muhammad al-Zaghari, Ahmad Ramadan, Raed Ahmad Ramadan, Rani Abu Akar, and the girl - Raneem Muhammad al-Jaafari, 17 years old
At 05:30,the Israeli occupation forces fired rubber-coated metal bullets, stun and tear gas canisters toward civilians, as they stormed a number of houses during their raid into Dheisheh camp in Bethlehem and as a result injured 2 civilians.
Two unidentified civilians were injured during confrontations with the Israeli occupation forces in the Dheisheh camp in Bethlehem

* Kerem Shalom crossing - “Kerem Shalom”: on 01/14/ 2022 is closed.
* Al-Awda- Rafah crossing: on 01/14/ 2022 is closed.
