DAILY SITUATION REPORT
08:00, 6th January 2022 -08:00, 7th January 2022
At dawn on 01/06/ 2022, the Israeli occupation forces raided the town of Hizma, and detained 3 citizens.
1. At 08:00, the Israeli occupation forces positioned in the area of Bab Al-Asbat (one of the doors leading to Al-Aqsa Mosque) in the Old City of Jerusalem detained citizen: Fidaa Al-Hadra.
2. At 09:00, the Israeli occupation forces positioned in the courtyards of Al-Aqsa Mosque detained the citizen: Khadija Khweis - residents of the city of Jerusalem.
3. At dawn on 01/07/ 2022, the Israeli occupation forces positioned in the village of Al-Isawiya detained the citizen: Munther Madin Dari.
4. The 3 detainees in the town of Hizma are: Abed Bassem Fazza Al-Omari, Ouda Ahmed Askar, and Youssef Bassem Al-Khatib.
At 08:00, groups of extremist Israeli settlers, under the protection of the Israeli occupation police, stormed the courtyards of Al-Aqsa Mosque, and made provocative tours of its courtyards and facilities.
At 21:35, the Israeli occupation forces set up a checkpoint at the entrance to the village of Nabi Saleh, to search vehicles and check the identities of the citizens.
On the evening of 01/06/2022, the Israeli occupation forces set up two checkpoints at the entrance to the city of Jenin - near the (Bride of the North) park and near the Arab American University, to search vehicles and pass the citizens' identities.
At 22:00,the Israeli occupation forces raided Masliya village, where clashes took place with the citizens, while they were on patrol.
At 22:00, the Israeli occupation forces fired rubber-coated metal bullets, stun and tear gas canisters towards citizens for alleged stoning during their raid into Masliah village
At 02:20 on 01/06/ 2022, during their raid into the city of Tulkarm, the Israeli occupation forces detained the citizen: Numan Al-Zaghal.
At 11:00, the Israeli occupation forces set up a checkpoint on the main road, Qalqilya - Nablus, and detained a citizen.
The detainee at a flying checkpoint on the main road Qalqilya - Nablus is: Iyad Al-Adawi - resident of Balata refugee camp in Nablus city.
At 03:45, the Israeli occupation forces raided the town of Beita, detained 3 civilians, and withdrew at 04:30.
The 3 detainees in the town of Beita are: Jihad Hilal Bani Shamsa, Daoud Ibrahim Bani Shamsa, and Munir Muhammad Bani Shamsa.
1. At 13:30, a Israeli settler ran over his vehicle while he was driving near Al-Aqrabaniya village, east of Nablus ran over the citizen: Shafiqa Fayez Bisharat - resident of Al-Aqrabaniyah village, as a result was hospitalized with contusions
2. At 17:30, a group of Israeli settlers, near the entrance to Bazaria village, attacked a vehicle maintenance workshop, where the residents managed to confront the settlers.
At 23:00, the Israeli occupation forces set up a checkpoint at the northern entrance to the city of Salfit, to search vehicles and check the identities of citizens.
At 12:05, the Israeli occupation forces raided the city of Jericho, stormed a hotel, and withdrew at 12:30.
At dawn on 01/06/2022, the Israeli occupation forces raided the village of Husan, and detained a citizen.
The detainee in the village of Husan is: Majd Ibrahim Ahmed Sabateen.
At 13:00, the Israeli occupation forces confiscated a bulldozer (Bajr) while it was working to reclaim a piece of land owned by: Nabil Al-Sharha, in the Ain Al-Fares area of Dura town, and prevented him from reclaiming his 70 dunums of land, because it was located in the classified (C) controlled area under Israeli control.
• At 02:00 on 05/21/ 2021, the comprehensive ceasefire entered into force at the initiative and sponsorship of the Arab Republic of Egypt.
• On the morning of 07/30/ 2021, the Israeli occupation forces allowed the expansion of the marine fishing area from 9 nautical miles to 12 nautical miles.
• The Israeli occupation forces violated the ceasefire agreement by firing from their positions on the Green Line in the central and Khan Yunis governorates, and by gunboats firing at fishermen's boats at sea in the northern Gaza and Khan Yunis governorates..
* Beit Hanoun crossing - “Erez”: On 01/06/ 2022, it is partially open (for the passage of humanitarian cases, foreign journalists, workers of international humanitarian organizations, merchants, businessmen and travelers through the Al-Karama Crossing “Allenby” - previously coordinated for them).
At 00:15 on 01/07/2022, Israeli gunboats opened fire at the fishermen’s boats while chasing them in the open sea off the coast of Al-Sudaniah area, west of the town of Beit Lahia.
* Al-Muntar-Karni crossing: closed since 02/03/2011, permanently and by a unilateral Israeli decision.
* Shejaiya Crossing - “Nahal Oz” for fuel: closed since 04. 01. 2010, by unilateral Israeli decision.
1. At 12:45 on 01/06/ 2022, the Israeli occupation forces fired from their positions on the Green Line, towards agricultural lands east of Deir al-Balah.
2. At 13:30 on 01/06/ 2022, the Israeli occupation forces fired from their positions on the Green Line, towards agricultural lands east of Al-Maghazi camp.
3. At 16:00on 01/06/ 2022, the Israeli occupation forces fired from their positions on the Green Line, towards agricultural lands east of Deir al-Balah.
1. At 08:00 on 01/06/ 2022, the Israeli occupation forces fired from their positions on the Green Line, towards agricultural lands east of Khuza’a town, east of Khan Yunis.
2. At 00:10 on 01/07/ 2022, Israeli gunboats fired at the fishermen’s boats while chasing them in the open sea off the shore of Khan Yunis.
3. At 00:30 on 01/07/ 2022, Israeli occupation forces fired from their positions on the Green Line, towards agricultural lands east of Al-Fukhari town, southeast of Khan Yunis.
4. At 01:20 on 01/07/ 2022, Israeli occupation forces fired from their positions on the Green Line, towards agricultural lands east of Al-Fukhari town, southeast of Khan Yunis.
* Yasser Arafat International Airport: closed.
* Sofa crossing: closed.
* Kerem Shalom crossing - “Kerem Shalom”: on 01/06/ 2022 is partially open (for the entry of foodstuffs and goods, limited quantities of fuel and cooking gas, and building materials for the private sector and for internationally funded projects).
* Al-Awda- Rafah crossing: on 01/06/ 2022 is closed.
