DAILY SITUATION REPORT
08:00,31st December 2020 -08:00, 1st January 2021
On the evening of 12/31/2020, the Israeli occupation forces set up a checkpoint at the entrance to the town of Anata, to search cars and verify citizens' identities.
On 12/31/2020, a group of extremist settlers, with the protection of the Israeli occupation police, stormed the courtyards of Al-Aqsa Mosque, and conducted provocative tours in its courtyards and facilities.
At 15:10, the Israeli occupation forces set up a checkpoint near the entrance to the settlement of "Ofra", to search cars and verify citizens' identities.
1. At 15:20, the Israeli occupation forces positioned near the northern entrance to Al-Bireh fired sound and tear gas canisters towards citizens on the pretext that they had been throwing stones.
2. At 04:30, the Israeli occupation forces, stationed on the outskirts of "Pesagot" settlement on the eastern outskirts of Al-Bireh, fired live and metal-coated bullets, stun grenades and tear gas towards the citizens, under the pretext that they were being pelted with stones and as a result wounded a citizen.
The wounded man during clashes with the occupation forces in the vicinity of "Pesagot" settlement, which is located on the eastern outskirts of Al-Bireh, is: Fawaz Maher Fawaz Sarsour.
1. At 21:05, a group of settlers came near the "Shilo" settlement junction, and threw stones at Palestinian civilians' vehicles passing on the main road, Ramallah - Nablus.

3. At 14:50 and again at 24:00, the Israeli occupation forces set up a checkpoint at the eastern entrance to the city of Qalqilya to search cars and verify citizens' identities.
4. At 18:00, the Israeli occupation forces set up a checkpoint at the entrance to Ezbet El-Tabib village, to search cars and verify citizens' identities.
At 12:50, the Israeli occupation forces temporarily detained the citizen: Ala Al-Din Abdel Raouf Jumaa - a resident of Kafr Qaddum, while he was on his land near the settlement of "Kedumim" established on the lands of Kafr Qaddum, and released him at a later time.
At 21:45, a group of settlers came near the entrance to the settlement of "Kedumim," and threw stones at Palestinian civilians' vehicles passing on the main road of Qalqilya - Nablus.
At 19:30, the Israeli occupation forces closed the Huwara checkpoint (under the pretext of the presence of groups of settlers on the main road north of the town of Huwara), in front of traffic, and reopened it at a later time.

At 21:50, the Israeli occupation forces swept away an area of the citizens' agricultural lands, and cut down and uprooted about 150 olive trees owned by the citizen: Hassan Odeh Sultan located in the area between the settlements of "Rafafa" and "Netafim" belonging to the village of Hares
At 18:20, a group of settlers built a storage den in the Al-Ras area threatened with confiscation, located northwest of the city of Salfit.
At 08:45 and again at 17:50 and 22:20, the Israeli occupation forces set up a checkpoint at the southern entrance to Jericho to search cars and verify citizens' identities.
1. At 12:00 and again at 18:50 , the Israeli occupation forces set up a checkpoint at the western entrance to the town of Tuqu '.to search cars and check citizens' identities until 21:00.
2. At 16:40, the Israeli occupation forces set up a checkpoint in the Aqabat Hasanah area (on the main road leading to the western villages in Bethlehem governorate), to search cars and verify citizens' identities.
3. At 22:40, the Israeli occupation forces set up a checkpoint at the entrance to Beit Jala, to search cars and verify citizens' identities until 23:30.
At 17:15, the Israeli occupation forces delivered a notice in the village of Al-Walaja to evacuate an area of agricultural land in the area of Jabal Al-Ruwaisat, Aruq Zunaid and Khirbet Abu Shawar in the village, owned by the heirs of the two citizens: Muhammad Saleh Hajjajla and Idris Mahmoud Hajajla, on the pretext that they are absentees' property.

1. At dawn on 12/31/2020, the Israeli occupation forces detained Amjad Qurei during their raid into Hebron city (as mentioned in the previous report).
2. The detainee in the town of Yatta is: Iyad Hassan Abu Ubaid.
At 19:10, a group of settlers were on the main street near the entrance to the settlement of "Kiryat Arba", and threw stones at the Palestinian vehicles were traveling in the area.
• At 19:00 on 26/08/2014, the permanent and comprehensive ceasefire came into effect with the initiative and patronage of the Arab Republic of Egypt, after reaching understandings to open the crossings, the introduction of humanitarian and relief aid and reconstruction requirements, and expanding the fishing area to a distance of 6 miles with the increase in distance Up to 12 miles by the end of this year, reducing the "security buffer" zone from 300 meters to 100 meters, freedom of movement and preventing assassinations. • On 01/09/2020, the occupation forces re-expanded the fishing distance from the front of the Al-Waha area northwest of the town of Beit Lahia in the northern Gaza governorate and up to the Gaza port by a distance of 6 nautical miles, and from opposite the Gaza port to the south of the coast of Rafah to 15 nautical miles. After it imposed on 08/16/2020 a complete closure on the maritime domain in front of the fishermen's boats in front of the Gaza Strip.
• The occupying forces violated the ceasefire, firing from their positions on the Green Line in the governorates of North Gaza, Gaza, and Khan Yunis.
* Beit Hanoun Crossing - "Erez": On 12/31/2020, it is closed (except for the passage of emergency humanitarian cases).
1. At 13:45 on 12/31/2020, the Israeli occupation forces fired from their positions on the Green Line, towards agricultural lands east of Jabalia town.

At 12:00 on 12/30/2020, the occupation forces positioned at the Beit Hanoun crossing - "Erez" detained a citizen (whose name was unknown) while she was returning to the Gaza Strip.
* Al-Muntar-Karni crossing: closed since 02/03/2011, permanently and by a unilateral Israeli decision.
* Shejaiya Crossing - “Nahal Oz” for fuel: closed since 04. 01. 2010, by unilateral Israeli decision.
At 12:00 on 12/31/2020, the Israeli occupation forces fired fire and tear gas canisters from their positions on the Green Line, towards a number of citizens near the border fence east of Gaza City.
At 15:30 on 12/31/2020, the Israeli occupation forces fired from their positions on the Green Line, towards agricultural lands east of Al-Qarara town, northeast of Khan Yunis.
* Yasser Arafat International Airport: closed.
* Sofa Crossing: closed.
* Kerem Shalom Crossing - “Kerem Shalom”: On 12/31/2020 is partially open (for the entry of foodstuffs, goods and building materials, and limited quantities of fuel).
* Al-Awda- Rafah crossing: on 12/31/2020, is closed.
