Daily Report February 22, 2017

At 16:50, Israeli forces intensified their restrictions at Jaba' Military checkpoint and impeded the free flow of traffic.

At 21:00, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the entrance of Al-Eizariya town then searched residents and vehicles.

1. At 12:00, Israeli forces raided Hizma town, stormed and searched several merchant shops.
2. At 03:45, Israeli forces raided Biddu and Biet Anan towns and Qutna village.

1. On February 21st 2017, Israeli forces detained Yusef Mukhimeir in Al-Aqsa mosque compound.

At 05:00, Israeli forces stormed beit Hanina town and demolished a home {120 m} owned by Loai Awni Abu Ramouz for allegdly being built with out a licence.

1. At 15:20, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint near the entrance of Deir Abu Mash'al village then searched residents and vehicles until 16:30.
2. At 19:00, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at Al-Taybeh town junction {located along the main road connecting Ramallah and Jericho city} then searched resiednts and vehicles until 21:10.

At 14:40, Israeli forces raided Turmusaya town and clashed with several residents.

At 04:45, Israeli forces raided Jenin city and detained 2 residents.

3. At 16:00, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint along Al-Bithan road {located at the east entrance of Nablus city} and fired stun and tear gas grenades towards several residents awaiting to cross the checkpoint.
4. At 17:20, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint in Al-Sier area then detained a resident.

At 01:00, Israeli forces raided Beita town, stormed and searched several residents for alleged stoning and detained 5 residents {including a woman}.

1. At 01:30 on February 21st 2017, Israeli forces detained Naseem Tah'seen Hussien Ramadan {A National Intellegnce officer} during their raid into Tel village in addition to those mentioned in the previous report.
2. Israeli forces positioned at a checkpoint located in Al-Sir area detained Ziyad Soliman Mohammad Bani Odeh {A resident of Tammoun town in Tubas district}.
3. Israeli forces detained 5 residents: Jawdah Mohammad Abu Mazen {55 years old}, Nimr Samir Bani Shamsa, Samer Zaki Al-Yatmawi and Dareed Abd Bani Shamsnah in Beita town.

At 16:00, Israeli forces positioned at a checkpoint located along Al-Bithan road {located at the east entrance of Nablus city} fired stun and tear gas grenades towards several residents awaiting to cross the checkpoint.

At 20:30, Israeli forces raided Qarwat Bani Hassan, clashed with several residents then withdrew at 20:55.

At 22:00, Israeli forces positioned near "Arail" settlement junction temporarily detained Mohammad Husni Samarah {A resident of Bruqin town} then released him at a later time.

At 01:20, Israeli forces raided Al-Oja village, temporarily detained Haytham Awad Jarahid {A special needs patient} then released him at a later time.

On February 16th 2017, Israeli forces positioned at Allenby Bridge detained Ahmad Salah Abdel-Latif Shana'a {A resident of Tulkarem city} as he was returning from Jordan.

1. At 09:55, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the entrance of Husan village then searched residents and vehicles.
2. At 18:15, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint in Al-Mataniya area located near Husan village then searched residents and vehicles until 20:00.

1. At 10:40, Israeli forces raided Al-Doha town, clashed with several residents as they stormed and searched several homes and summoned 2 resiednts: Faris Mohammad Khalil and Anas Adnan Yahya Malash to report to Israeli Intellegnce for questioning.
2. At 11:50, Israeli forces raided Wadi Rahal village and occupied the home of Mohammad Jawdat Abu Ahar then converted its rooftop into a Military post.
3. At 02:00, Israeli forces raided Ayda camp in Bethlehem city, detained a resident then withdrew at 04:55.

1. At 19:50, Israeli forces positioned at Al-Container checkpoint detained Shihab Al-Din Ahmad Al-Teti {A National Security Force Officer} {A resident of Al-Arun camp in Hebron District}.
2. At 21:30, Israeli forces positioned at Container checkpoint detained Azam Azmi Husaba {A resident of Hebron city}.
3. Israeli forces detained Mohammad Imad Al-Azraq in Ayada camp in Bethlehem city.

At 10:40, Israeli forces fired stun and tear gas grenades towards several residents for alleged stoning after storming several homes during their raid into Al-Doha town.

At 08:50, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the entrance of Al-Fuwar camp then searched residents and vehicles.

1. At 08:15, Israeli forces raided Surif town then stormed and searched 2 homes.
2. At 15:45, Israeli forces raided Hebron city then stormed and searched a merchant shop.
3. At dawn on February 22nd 2017, Israeli forces raided Dura town, stormed and searched several homes, detained 2 residents, confiscated 3 vehicles owned by Riziq Al-Rajoub, Nayef Al-Rajoub and Imad Jadallah.

1. At 12:30, Israeli forces detained Amjad Majed Al-Natsheh in the old city of Hebron.
2. Israeli forces detained Yusef Abu Ras and Basel Dodien in Dura town.

At dawn on February 22nd 2017, Israeli forces confiscated 3 vehicles owned by Riziq Al-Rajoub, Nayef Al-Rajoub and Imad Jadallah during their raid into Dura town.

* Beit Hanun (Erez) crossing is partially open for the passage of critical patients, journalists, NGO staff, businesspersons and passengers travelling abroad through Al-Karama crossing with previous coordination.

At 08:00 on February 21st 2017, Israeli Naval vessels opened fire towards Palestinian fishing boats off the shores of Al-Waha area located in North West Beit Lahiya and detained 5 fishermen (including a child) then confiscated a fishing boat.

Israeli forces detained 5 fishermen: Mahmoud Sabri Bakr (17 years old), Mohammad Imran Sabri Bakr, Omar Mohammad Najeeb Bakr and Thabet Mohammad Bakr off the shores of Al-Waha area located in North West Beit Lahiya.
